The retail staff at this Walgreens are always so helpful and nice! It’s the pharmacy that I have a problem with. It is the slowest pharmacy that I have been to. I have always had an issue with having prescriptions fulfilled here. Some of the pharmacists have wonderful customer service and there are others that could be much better. I don’t know why I keep coming here. Really disappointing.

The staff including managers at this place are a joke! Not team players and their attitudes are horrible! Undertrained staff at cashiers and overworked moody pharmacy techs!! This Walgreens hasn’t been the same since Edwin District manager left . We love the crew from 2017-2018, we knew all their names and they greeted us by ours and were always beyond helpful!! Try Walgreens in Gambrills!! Much better than this hot wreck

This has to be the worst store Ive ever been to. They are always out of stock... even the water. I asked why they never have bottles of cold water and I was told we have it in the back just no one puts it out I can only image all the empty holes on the shelves have products sitting in the back as well.

Standard Walgreens, you pick things up, pay for it, out the door. But I had a big photo print job. OKay for the small prints, but the poster (enlargements) are poor quality. At first their machine was not working, then they supposedly changed the toner. The B/W was much darker. So I made my photos extra exposed and it made it (kinda) better, still not satisfactory. So small prints, it comes in handy having a Walgreens around the corner.

Why have people make appointments for flu shots if youre still going to have a 25 minute wait?

I don’t know why I keep coming here. It’s always a 30+ minute wait in the drive through pharmacy even if there’s only one or two cars in front of you. It’s getting to the point where I’m about to switch pharmacies altogether. This time, there were 3 cars in front of me, we are currently 32 minutes into the wait and they have only helped 2 cars. At this pace it will be an hour before we are able to leave.

Poor Customer service- I took in a prescription 6 days ago. They were out of if and they tried to order it. I called to check on the prescription status and the automated system said it would arrive two days ago. I called today and the automated system said that they would work on it. I waited to speak to somebody and after being on hold, the call got hung up. I called and spoke to Jasmin. She showed on empathy whatsoever. she told me that they were out of stock and that I should call my doctor on Monday,two days from now.I would have expected a better customer service and the pharmacy to let me know that the medication would not be in.

Convenient if you live near Odenton as we lack any similar nearby pharmacies or major stores. They have a nice selection of box andrefrigerated foods, health & beauty products, and misc household items but pricing is a bit high. The pharmacists are generally nice and helpful however the drive-in prescription line is often very slow and inside can be worse.

This is the slowest Walgreens in Maryland!! The drive-thru AND inside are always backed up. The staff are far from efficient and extremely slow.

As a resident of Odenton who has frequented this location, I suggest getting prescriptions filled elsewhere.Especially if you prefer the drive-through method. I’ve sat in the drive through waiting for ten minutes more than once and no one has even come by the window. I’ve had to drive off as I’m unable to go in store. On an instance where I’ve waited for at least five minutes, I saw an associate walk past the window several times, just ignoring my presence. I was told on one occasion that the pharmacist needed to take care of my situation personally and she was busy, so I was asked to leave so I “don’t hold the line up”.This location has POOR customer service.

I come here to get my bloodwork done. The staff - lab people or the store people - are super friendly, and the lab staff is really good at drawing blood.

This store has some of the most friendliest staff always willing to help. The pharmacy delivers prescriptions when promised, no issues.

Today I came in to the pharmacy for the very first time. The young lady behind the register acted as though I was inconveniencing her by needing service. She was very disrespectful in her tone and facial expressions. I requested to speak to a manager and it took me asking three times before she acknowledged what I asked her. The pharmacist came over but it was clear that they accept this behavior from this employee. This will be the last time I use this place. During a time when jobs are at a premium, this is the kind of service they render to a customer. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE....

Service is friendly and efficient. Prices are above average, but expected for a drugstore. Can find most quick pick items. Bathrooms are gross. Not sure about cleaning, paper towels are dispensed inside the trash can. Only one stall to clean so not sure why its not being properly cleaned.

My wife and I went to get a flu shot. We went online and filled out all the necessary paperwork. From the time we went in and were waited upon the tech, it took my wife 40 minutes until she got the paper work to sign off on getting the flu shot.The tech helping her just have been new because she spent a half hour at her computer with my waiting for her to figure out what to do next. Another tech asked her if she wanted to switch so she could get my wife moving and she said no. She finally stepped in and assisted her.Once that was finally done we were seen and The shot was was smooth and easy but common....if you do not know what your doing, ask for help. It took us one hour to get in and out. What’s the point of scheduling a time to be seen if it takes that long when there’s not even a line?

I waited in the drive thru for over 30 minutes with no movement or service. I then went inside where I still waited in line, AGAIN, for another 30+ minutes, behind only 4 people. The service in this store isnt just lacking, its non existent. No apology for the wait and major inconvenience either.

Aweful pharmacy management... They turned away my wife and me twice for a flu shot due to their unique policy of no shots 1 hour before closing, which they didn’t even follow the 2nd time when they turned away my wife 1.5 hours before closing—liars. CVS’ Pharmacy gives free flu shots up until closing, and Bowie’s Walgreen pharmacy has friendly, fast, fantastic service.

I absolutely LOVE this pharmacy. I’m transgender, and the pharmacist and pharm techs refer to me as Sam and he/him pronouns, despite that not being my legal name or marker. The pharmacist will sometimes call to ask how you’re doing on a new medication, and I know I can call and ask about side effects. Meds usually don’t take that long, no more than a few hours if in stock, and if they aren’t in stock it’s no more than a day or two. They have a great selection of groceries and OTC stuff too. Overall, an absolutely awesome pharmacy with awesome service

Always a delight to browse your store, but today was extra special. Miss Vivian was at the front. A personal greeting by your staff is always welcomed upon entry, but Miss V made me feel special. Great experience. Great store.

Expect to wait a very long time when going to the pharmacy..ridiculous amount of time. ... while they stare at you.

Three women working up front all refused to even make eye contact with me as I stood waiting at the photo counter. My presence was not acknowledged at all until they called another woman up to the front. After wandering back and forth for a minute she finally looked at me and asked if I was picking up photos. When I told her I was, she dismissed me a wave of her hand, saying, “There’s one line for everything,” as she walked away. There is no excuse for such rudeness. I’ve worked in customer service off and on for decades, and it takes almost no time or effort to simply smile, acknowledge someone, and direct them to the proper line. I will never come back to this location. The only reason i did was the photo coupons. I should have just used the CVS near my house. I’ll happily pay more to be treated like a valued customer.

Always a fan of Walgreens and choose it over other Pharmacies in the area. Not anymore. There a story, but let’s leave it as short as I can. Pharmacy closes at 9. If I walk in for just prescribed important medication at 8:30pm, you should be able to manage that.

I understand pharmacys get busy but working on a script 15 min AFTER I was told to pick up is something to be improved upon. Also, if there isnt sufficient quantity a quick call to the patient to discuss this and possibly send it to another walgreens would have been nice.

This pharmacy is awful. Late opening, mis-information about order. Not, not user friendly at all. Not caring, unable to admit to mistake about my father in laws meds. Am transferring his scripts as soon as possible.

This is the slowest worst stocked pharmacy Ive ever been to. Its incredibly understaffed. I have to pick up my prescription here, and they always have to do a partial fill, and it takes them so long to give me the prescription that I often have to leave and come back. Its incredibly poorly run. Avoid it if you can!

I recently went to fill a prescription at this location like I have done multiple times in the past. Not only was I denied getting my prescription filled I was racially profiled and discriminated against. The Pharmacy Manager Deoborah judged me due to my appearance, discriminated me all because she is biased on the medication that I’m prescribed. Then the Store Manager Justin told me that she has every legal right to deny someone getting their prescription filled if requirements were not met. When I asked what requirements weren’t met neither of them could tell me. Is that Legal? How does a company allow any of their employees, especially leadership to hold such values? Not only did she make me feel horrible as a person she denied me medical attention when I in fact met every requirement. Have you ever heard a Pharmacist ask questions like where else have you been filling your prescription? What other treatments have you had for pain? The most shocking and proof of discrimination took place was “You are aware that opioids are not a long term treatment for pain?” I will not let this matter go.

The place is clean and the people are nice, but the pharmacy has been progressively getting worse over the past few months. If you dont need the prescription that day youll be fine, but if you need a same day refill be prepared to wait a long time. Its been 4.5 hours and its still not ready.

This store is very unprofessional, and disorganized. Behind the front desk is a mess, and cluttered. I turned in 3 disposable cameras, every single one of them got lost and never returned to me. They either didnt send them off to be printed or they got lost somewhere. It has taken well over a month and no one at the store is giving me a good solution. Very upset because disposable cameras arent digital, I can never get those photos back.

Its true every Walgreens is different. I called the Walgreens on Piney Orchard and the young lady who answered the phone was very short acting and rude (basically we are about to close). I understand the store was closing at 10, I called at 9:15 with questions about a passport photo. So I called the Walgreens in Bowie on Racetrack Road. Not only did the young man answer the questions, he even said come in now and we can quickly take care of the passports photos. Very accommodating, great customer service Walgreens in Bowie!

Pretty lousy to go in a Pharmacy and find 2 hand sanitizer machines in their lab area not working....

There is always a problem with my prescription. Theyll tell me that its ready for pickup and Ill make the trek to the pharmacy and sit in line for 10 mins and theyll tell me that it is not ready. Their pharmacy must be seriously understaffed and could use some better management. If I try to call them, I just sit on hold for 20 mins.Update: officially changing pharmacies. It is unbelievable how bad this place is at their job. 3 trips in one day. Told the wrong thing three times. They really need to fix their pharmacy. The DMV is more efficient.

I called to ask one simple question. Does the photo department refill ink cartridges? The woman who answered the phone was very blunt and unfriendly during our 30 second conversation. Didnt introduce herself and hung up faster than I could ask for her name. Its about 10 am and it seems like shes ready to go home already.

Pharmacy pick up at noon for script called in at 8am and still need to wait 15 for pharmacist to type it inHeard walkup orders are in excess of 1 hour. The Direct Hitter at the register refused to greet meet - She just stared at me until I spoke first. Thats not right.

Dont bother. I worked with this place when my doctor changed my prescription. I was told it was ready. They called when I got home and asked me to check the bottle. They put a new label on the outside of the bag. I went back to get the one they were *supposed* to fill...then STILL had to wait for them to fill it. This place doesnt always open on time, needs at least an hour to fill a prescription they literally take out of the fridge and put a label on, and the lines are always atrocious. This is just the nail in about a years worth of mistakes theyve made and Im done.

This afternoon my wife tried to get a prescription filled at Walgreens in Odenton that was desperately needed for migraine pain however, the Pharmacist wouldn’t give it to her because it is a narcotic. Told my wife she had to confirm with the doctor before letting my wife have the “prescribed” medication. My wife tried to explain to the Pharmacist the doctor just sent that prescription in to Walgreens and the Pharmacist acknowledged to be true however, she felt the pattern of use was questionable. To my knowledge a doctor has more of an understanding of what they prescribe their patient and what is acceptable usage! However, this Pharmacist who wouldn’t provide a name by the way, felt my wife shouldn’t have it yet and overruled the doctors prescription and orders. So now I watch my wife crying in pain because the Odenton Walgreens Pharmacist felt she needed to confirm my wife really needed it. This “Pharmacist” who overruled and told my wife she didn’t have time to call the doctor to confirm the prescription should be reprimanded and/or fired! We are a military family that will never use Walgreens for anything again

Went to Walgreens tonight to pick up an antibiotic for my son and they were out of stock and the medicine wouldn’t be in until tomorrow at 15:00. I asked if they could call my doctor since they were out (not my issue) so I could get it sent to a different pharmacy and they said they could but it would be three hours before they could call, which keep in mind this is the end of the day and the office would be closed and there would be no point when they wouldn’t get the message until the next day. Which leaves me in the same predicament. I asked to speak with them and she made all kinds of excuses to not be able to help me... Mind you I waited in line for 20 minutes to get the prescription that was out of stock. I would imagine that since it is not my issue that they do not have the medicine that they could help a sick person out and make a 1 minute phone call that would expedite getting medicine for my son so he could start the healing process.... not 24hrs later so his infection gets worse. And if one doesn’t know that the longer a person has an infection the chances of spreading through the body becomes greater.

Seems like my review got deleted. Store was robbed at gun point while I was in line with my kid. Pretty crazy, they should provide a safer experience for customers and pharmacy employees. At least a window or gate, and should hire security guards.

Ive stopped frequenting this store because the pharmacy line, without exception, is always brutally slow. When I used to have my prescriptions filled here, I only found out about issues when I arrived to pick them up. Although the nearest CVS is further away from my house, it is always worth the drive.

Not sure why I like Walgreens better than CVS or Rite Aid...I just simply do. Cannot get my prescriptions filled anymore since I am on a CVS prescription plan. Other than that, I like to come here when I dont want to be bothered with shopping malls.
