Good work, doesn’t talk down to you like you don’t know what’s going on. May take a little longer for services as they don’t keep parts in house… so be prepared to wait if anything has to be ordered… and always go to their website and utilize the coupons for services.

I initially made an appointment to have my brakes replaced and have my tires rotated and balanced, but the manager saved me money by informing me that my brakes were in excellent condition. He went as far as bringing me to my vehicle and showing me my brakes and informing me that I had several thousand miles before I would need to bring it in.

Window regulator and motor needed replacing. Was able to get in the following morning. I brought the part with me to replace, but it ended up not fitting properly. The service advisor made every effort to locate the part and worked with me on price. I applaud their efforts. Next time i need repair or maintenance on my vehicle, they will be my first call.

I made an appointment to get new brakes. I showed up 15 minutes early and the attendant tells me it should be ready in 1 to 2 hours that I was next. After 2:30 hrs later I go back to Midas and they tell me their is 3 other vehicles in front of me and they don’t think they can get to it today. I asked the guy what’s the point of an appointment and he said all the customers had appointments it just takes longer than expected. Then I asked him why he told me I was next and he said he don’t remember telling me that. So I left and will never go back their again.

I took my vehicle into get my front shocks replaced on my 2009 Ram 2500. I waited onsite for work to be done and it was done in a timely manner, by a very professional staff and for a good price that had been estimated when I arrived.

Had to have my AC worked on. The guys were great and had it fixed in a timely manner. I have used Midas for everything and have had no complaints! Keep up the great work!

Took my car in to do a transmission flush (drop pan and change gasket and filter, too), replace valve cover gasket, replace radiator, replace cable to hand brake, BG fuel injector cleaner applied, replace plugs, wires and boots, and car diagnostic/clear check engine light. A small fortune indeed to have all that work done, BUT very well worth it. Not positive, but I think they had their top mechanic (Miguel) work on my car. Wow!!! My car drives like it just rolled off the dealer lot brand new. Transmission shifts as smooth as butter, acceleration is great, radiator not leaking and maintaining levels, hand brake nice and tight, and the car idles like a dream!!! I now look for any excuse to drive my car because it performs so well now, thanks to Midas!!! Worth every penney!!! GOOD JOB, MIDAS!!! I highly recommend their quality work. For sure, avoid taking it to Midas in Midland or any Firestone in Odessa for any work you need done!!!

Do not go here for mechanic work. They will not only work on your car, charge you an arm and a leg, but they will also sabotage other things in order to get you back in there for something else.

I went to mitis to get my brakes fixed and fix a water leak they replaced my front rotors my front brake pads and my water at outlet valve housing total cost was over $800 my brakes worked fine but I still have a water leak. These guys are outstanding and I do good work I just don’t know what happen today and why I still have a water leak

My check engine light came on while I was out in Odessa on a business trip. I went to multiple places including the Hyundai dealership and multiple Firestone places, none of which would help or had a 4 week wait to be seen. The guys at Midas were able to get me in the next day and had the issue resolved for a fair price a few days later. Its been a month later and my car is still working great! Im very appreciative for their help and service

Wasted over 2 hours of my time only to be told they cant lift my Toyota Sienna.

Was quoted one price then told a different price.My exhaust had broken from the hangers. I was charged to have them fixed but when I got home they were still broken.

But, if you allow them time to get your car in for service. They will do the work correctly The first time around.I had a animal stuck in my engine and they took time to get the animal out and fix the serpentine belt.Really appreciate your help in this delicate matter.

My mother took her truck here 1 year ago. After doing and oil change, they forgot to put the air filter back on. She drove down 400 Mikes of dirt road over the next few weeks with a trailer. The dirt blasted the turbo and ruined the intake valve guides. Heads and new turbo came to over $6,000 in repairs. They told us there was nothing wrong with the truck and that all the smoke was normal and then hung up on us repeatedly. Another shop fixed the truck properly. We will not be back and strongly encourage everyone to stay away. All the parts and damage are documented with photographs. Hopefully my dads attorney will get us our money back.

Took my truck in to get the blend door and mode doors fixed for the A/C and heat. I emailed them to get a quote and received a call from Carlos saying it would be around $250 and I would get the truck back at the end of the day. I took it in the next day at 7:30AM and at the end of the day he said it would be $860 and needed another day. The second day he had it he called back and now priced it at $1500! over 6X the original quote! he then stated he needed another day. Called the next day and he needed yet another day because after my truck was put back together it still didnt work correctly. Over 4 days later and now $1500 they cracked my dash and completely destroyed two of my defroster vents. He said I told you we might break it some, oh well and was completely rude to me and my wife when we voiced that we were not happy with how they broke the dash, charged us way over the initial quote, took four days, and was so rude and careless. Very dishonest, rude, careless and does not do good work. Only reason they get one star is because they actually did fix the blend doors and I cant give less than 1 star. I did leave a bad review on the website for Midas and go figure that website only shows two 3 stars and the other 19 are 5 stars. So obviously you can tell they are dishonest and deceptive by only showing some minor 3 stars and the rest glorious 5 stars.

Basically robbed me of almost $200, went to get an alignment and ask them first if they could do it and they said yes.. I went 2 times because it wasnt done right and on the third time I asked for a refund and they said they couldnt give me my money back because according to them my truck was aligned but the steering wheel is still off and when Im driving it pulls to the right a lot they also said its because of the size of my tires & lift (35s & 4in) but Ive gotten it aligned and never had this issue

Don’t let the bad reviews fool you! Fixed my car and did a great job! After some issues with my car I decided to go to Midas. They replaced front rotors, brakes, new spindle, and new caliper. Took a few days due to trying to get parts, but they got me my only car back ASAP! It drives better than when I first bought it. Due to it being my only car the manager even gave me a ride home when I had to leave my car at the shop. Great people that do great work!

Money scammersTried to charge me $218 to change diesel fuel filter. I took it to B-line down the road got it done for $56. Midas told me I needed a new air filter and I just put a new one in it an hour before taking it to them. Midas called me saying my hydro boost hose was leaking. I told them it was the pump leaking not the hose. Midas assured me it was only the hose. Charged me $419 to change the hose, I still have the same damn leak. IT IS THE PUMP!!! So I spent $419 for no damn reason cause I still have the same problem leaking at the same speed as before. I called them and told them all they said was bring it so they can see how bad it’s leaking. I’m scared to take my truck back now. They done screwed me over once . I’m sure they will again.I will recommend people not to use this place at all.If I take my truck back and they try to rip me off again and don’t even try to make up for the last horrible experience. My next review and complaint will be with the BBB!!!DO NOT USE THIS PLACE !!!!

Wrote a review earlier, just picked up my car, for a week I have been hearing a grinding noise coming from front brake, just spent 490.00 July 30, 2018 on brakes pads and rotors. They tell me everything looks good, then why do I still hear the grinding noise when I apply my brakes? I will not go back or recommend their service to anyone.

This is the worst place to have car serviced. Made a appointment the day before on a Wednesday for Thursday at 1 - 3:30 PM. Arrived at location at 1 PM. Left vehicle there to have a front end alignment done. Arrived back at location at 5:30 to pick up Vehicle was told it was not done yet. So set down and waited for another 30 minutes. Then I was called to counter and was told they could not do the service I had requested due to closing time. So after wasting 5 hours of my time. Still left with out service being down. Carlos the rudest person I ever met also tried to tell me he was the fastest place to get work done in town. What a joke. Do not go here to get service done on your vehicle all the techs in shop where to busy walking around smoking then getting work done. Wish I could give negative stars!

If I could give them zero stars I would. We went in for an inspection, which should cost $7 and they wanted to charge us $1176. They said the brakes we put on 6 months ago were bad, and there was a leak in the rack and pinion. We knew the brakes were fine but we took it to another place to have them check everything. They said the leak was in the cap, which would cost about $40 (which we already knew), and that our breaks were fine. We paid $7 for our inspection, and were done in about 20 minutes, versus the hour and a half we spent in Midas.

They are always busy just like all places in Odessa but the guys are very good and do their best to get me in and out as quick as possible!

Only reason I go here is my company makes me, twice Ive left my truck with them over the weekend and nothing gets done due to them not being adement about getting approvals from fleet companies to do the work or flat out lose the paperwork from when it was brought in. Ive called multiple times asking simple questions like when can I expect it to be done or has the part I need come in only to receive a response of i will check with someone else cause I dont know and will call you back. Ofc I never get a call back.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. I have been going to midas for a time, considering they are one of the only places that do oil changes on volkswagens. My car started leaking oil after i went to Midas, we found out the they put oil in the wrong plug! I am glad I went to get my car professionally checked or Midas would have let me assume they knew what they were doing. They claim they know how to work on volkswagen but they do not, I do not recommend Midas to anyone.
