I went to get my car inspection and it was done quickly and efficiently! Props to the staff for getting me in and out given I had my 2 year old with me. Will definitely be returning again.

They were really nice and helpful. I went for an inspection to renew registration. Of course he had to drive it to test the brakes ( which I knew they would do) my complaint is when I got back in my car there was greasy gritty hand prints on the steering wheel, gear shift and door panel. I understand these guys get dirty but have some respect for customers cars. I had to pull out and clean it. I will still use them again but hopefully they will be more aware. Overall a good place.

I believe they changed up their routine of doing the inspection because I never had to get out of my car in the past few times that Ive been here, and then I get there this past weekend and they tell me that they have to test the brakes and I have to wait for them to test it. Only reason I liked coming over here was because I didnt have to get out of the car, and now not anymore. Funny thing is, I didnt see anyone else before me get out of their car for anything 🤔

Dont have to wait too long most times, especially if you can make it before 4 on the weekdays. Good people, ask to do a courtesy check on your tires and air filter most times incase it seems like you need some air or a new air filter.

I went to get an inspection and the owner working was completely rude and unprofessional. I would not recomend using this company as they do not know the difference from an oem catalytic converter and a high flow cat neither oem mufflers and aftermarket. HOW WOULD THEY KNOW IF A CATALYTIC CONVERTER WAS THERE OR NOT IF THERE IS NO EMISSIONS TEST FOR OUR AREA. Not to mention I used to work for the company and know that the people on the bottom of your car are not licensed by the state to inspect vehicles or are mechanics in that matter for them to be ACCUSING me of not having a muffler. I assured them if it was straight pipe it would be noticed. Anyways, wouldnt recomend them for oil changes or inspections since half the time they screw up the oil and put in the wrong weight. If you start hearing engine noises its probably from using their service.

They check all fluids and filters. Three to four employees working on your vehicle to get you in and out faster. Usually busy with a line but sometimes you can catch them with no waiting.

WOW, just went there today for the first time. Guarantee it will not be my last. Everyone was friendly and did a great job. The owner was so helpful too. Went out of his way after my truck was done to answer some questions in the parking lot. OH and the price was great.

Good service but too much trying to upsale on products not needed. Plus they do not blow out the air filters which most oil change places will do, instead try to sell you a new one.

Yall, I kid you not, I was out of here in about 10 minutes. A great local place that can change your oil. Fast and friendly! Also they let you sit in the comfort of your own car as they do what they need. They change your oil, check your tires, and usually top off your windshield wiper fluid. Usually cost about $45.

Very quick, very thorough with checking everything out. I just went for an oil change, but this is the only place Ill take my vehicle to for oil changes and vehicle inspection.

They did a great job, and helpful about my cab filter didnt know I had and the fan is blowing a ho harder and telling me about my tires are getting a little weather rot there a 10 in my book

I’m from Louisiana working in the oil field in Odessa for two weeks at a time. Went to have my oil change in October a day before I went on days off. 30 mins or so after doing oil change, my engine locked up. Had it towed to dealership, where the oil pan was dropped for a fee of $2300. It was determined that the engine was run without oil and had metal shavings in the oil pan. Rapid Oil Change refused to take responsibility for it. Leaving me with the cost of $9000 to replace the engine. I have been without that car since then.

Claim of fame is a quick oil change, that is not true.Everyone is waiting on someone else to do the work.Workers seem to do more time doing nothing, until the owner, boss, or whom ever he is, shows up.Do not go to this place to get a vehicle inspection,You have to wait for all the oil changes that take at least an half hour each.

Poor customer service.I went to get my vehicle inspected. I sat for 20 minutes to be told my vehicle can’t be inspected because its registered in an emissions testing county. However I’ve had my vehicle inspected in Midland and Ector county in the past. After speaking with the TX DPS, I was told they gives waivers for the testing if you live in a different county. After explaining this to the shop, one of the employees became confrontational and kept saying I was trying to get them fined.Poor service and employees that don’t know the law. Avoid this place

Those of us who have lived in the Permian Basin for a while know that waiting in line has become the norm rather than the exception. We also have learned that service is a rare thing. The guys at Rapid Oil Change are great. I had gone to another company previous to my initial trip here. The other company played hard sell games with me, removed things I didnt ask to be checked and then when I caved to their pressure told me they DIDNT have the items that needed replaced. Afterwards my car was messed up! I had to take it to a mechanic and have them troubleshoot and repair the damage done. The guys at Rapid promised ONLY to do what I asked and not to play hard sell games with me.One time (Ive been there many times now with different cars) a new tech left my transmission fluid dipstick sticking out. The next day I noticed a puddle under my car. I called the shop and the manager came out to my home (in another town) and checked my car, filled my fluids and cleaned up the residual on my engine block.I am more than pleased with Rapid Oil Change.

I was told it would be 30 minutes before they got to my truck. So I got in line. An hour and 15 minutes they had only got 2 cars done and were working on a third car. I was 4th in line. They say that they do 10 minute oil changes but yet it took over an hour and 20 minutes to get 3 oil changes done in the line I was in. I also had a $5 off coupon, when it came time to pay they told me it was going to be $81.95. I gave them the coupon and my card and they charged me the full amount. When I asked why they didnt apply the coupon he said he did. I told him that the amount they charged didnt reflect that, he then backpeddled and said that it was eighty something before the coupon. I told him he said it was $81.95 before the coupon and my card was charged $81.95. All he said was oh, sorry. This is ridiculous and will be the last time I come here for anything. Dont waste your time here!

If you want to sit in your car for an hour, this is the place for you. Personally, I would rather go somewhere that I can drop off my vehicle or even just hang out inside while I wait. Their waiting room consists of a few chairs inside the actual shop area.
