The appearance, clutter and filth of the Bakery do not suit a market like HEB.I wrote last week that the Bakery was messy and not clean and added a picture. In the answer given, it was said that they would be interested. But when I went today, the Bakery was both messy and dirty, and worse than before(4. Picture) . I will continue to write reviews and add photos until the condition of the oven improves.

They have the worst curbside I have ever used. It is almost a guarantee you will be missing items or they loaded your order as well as someone elses into your vehicle. I can imaging the company has a lot of loss from this store. The management must have very low standards concerning curbside and home delivery. Unfortunately this is the only consistent thing I have found with this HEBs curbside and delivery.The inside isnt bad and is decently stocked, the bathrooms are usually clean and checkout is fast.

I placed an online order around 4pm for 9-10pm delivery! At 9:55pm I call to find out if I can help with directions and no one answers in the department, I called back 2 more times! Then drove by at 10:10 from work! Lights were out, or was abandoned! They said I cant pick up my order, but they are open until 11pm so I ran in to get at least the milk that we really needed! I found the milk and the other things that were canceled that were on my order due to being out of stock! I tried to get someone to cancel my order because I paid almost half the price for the same items by going in, I thought the store closed at 10pm which is when I get out of work! Needless to say, I have to try back in the morning, the night crew cant do anything to help me!

I know we have a few HEBs, 2 here in Odessa and 2 in Midland, but one more wouldnt hurt!! Absolutely love this place more and more every time we go.

I have never had a bad experience in this store until today with a sacker named Jennifer. She is very rude and unpersonable. I simply asked her to bag the six things of soda I had and she smacked her lips and sighed as if to be annoyed. She proceeded to continually throw my things in to the bags no matter how fragile my items were

Only do curbside, its gotten better at this location.

This place is amazing & great folks..They make it Easy too eat prepared meals(my issue, not eating).🤫

It was a quick in and out trip. Had to make it back to work at 6 and I made it with 20 minutes to spare.

I went to buy finger foods, a fruit tray, and drinks for a small party. Quite a selection of fruit trays and already prepped type foods. The fruit/produce looked great! I tried the HEB sweet and unsweet brewed teas for the first time. I will get those again! I also tried the bakery cooked tortilla chips. I will get those again.

Good store, but it’s parking lot is always like a mad house and they’ll only have one or two registers open and you see 15 employees standing around while there’s 15 closed registers.

I love bringing my senior residents here because the staff goes over and beyond for them!

I go here all the time when I need groceries- of course, LOL. I like it here because the staff is always friendly. If theres anything youre not satisfied with theyll try to make it right. They have many deals and coupons to help you save money. Its also convenient for me bc it is close by (Grandview location).

My experience with some of the employees was not good. I used to go early in the morning after I got off from work. They were stocking and they block areas and you have to step all over boxes and some employees offer no help. I was in produce getting vegetables. I was getting some tomatoes and put some in a bag and turned to get more and an employee had just jumped right in front of me and started making room to stock more. I didnt even get an excuse me. So I stopped shopping there and started ordering online. I ordered a late order to be picked up between 8:30 -9. I was there at 8:58p. I put in my parking number and waited for about 15 minutes. Finally a young man came out and said in a rude manner, we close at 9p. I said Im sorry but I was here before 9p. Then he walks away and doesnt come back for about 20 minutes. They have forgotten a bag and have called me to pick it up. I have gotten things that werent in my order that probably belonged to someone else. I used to use HEB on West University and loved that store employees were always kind and respectful never messed up my orders. The pharmacy is way better also.

Groceries get delivered on time. Drivers are always nice and professional! Love that I can save time and have my items delivered to me as needed. I have been using this service for 4 years and never have issues.

Always find everything we need here and their juice options are amazing.

As always best selection of meats, vegetables and wide variety of goods. You can’t go wrong.

I really like HEB and have shopped here since they have been at this location . For so many of those years, I have only sung the praises of this store, their products, and the employees. But for the last 3 years, their customer service in every aspect has gone down hill and Im not completely sure but it feels to me that HEB would prefer the actual customers that shop in person to disappear and only curbside or delivery at the customers house be the only two choices available. Keep it up HEB and the only customers you will have will be your own employees.

May not have as big selection as Walmart but theres no problem in finding a worker to assist with self checkout/product locations or to answer questions.

HEB is the best or at the top of the best here in Odessa. If u ever need help, they are always willing. The cashiers are friendly, there isles are clean, its just an all-around good experience. Wal-Mart could learn how to run a store from HEB

I had a karen bother me in the parking lot. She had sleeve of tattoos and short brown hair. She said she was a manager and told us to leave. She wasnt in UNIFORM, she was NOT a manager but yall have a karen who is saying she is.

Crowded as usual my honey says.. yes crowded but had cashiers ready for the task..A cashier manager was helping people get to a short line quickly.

This place has turned into a traffic jam of curbside pick up carts. HEB should remember their walk in customers and save some room in the store for the rest of us.

My usual grocery store is HEB in Midland, but the Odessa store is a great store to visit.

The store itself is great, but Id rather be flayed alive than shop there when its busy. The stores layout isnt conductive to the sheer amount of people who shop there on weekends.

I have to use a cane to walk and I cant stand up very long or walk very far,when I went in there there was 3 scooters on the produce end not plugged in charging i got one it lasted less than 5 min so an employee went to the pharmacy end and got me a scooter it lasted less than 10 min.HEB needs to either get new scooters or new batteries for them its ridiculous that a disabled person has to walk and hang on to the shopping cart to get 15 items and barely able to stand in line cause your scooters are in bad shape and the employees arent charging them like they are supposed to for all the good that does.

Good produce section, has fresh sushi made on the premises, good selection of meats, in house bakery and deli. Very busy store with plenty of parking, gas station with some of the lowest prices in town on gas.

Store was okay n enjoyment until it come to check out. The cashier was rude.grant I was over the 15 or less.😁overall i would go back😚

HEB Is by far better than Walmart for some reason it just feels like a better place to shop for groceries. You can find everything you need, make long full grocery trips or quick trips to pick something up, cashiers are friendly and fast at what they do so they get people out the door quickly!

Store is clean and employees are helpful but the stores personal shoppers tend to stop in high congestion areas causing alot of issues.

Oh HEB how I miss strolling the aisles looking for sales and new things to try! I miss the spice aisle and looking for the perfect peppers for Sunday dinner. Sometimes we like it hot, sometimes mild, and our favorite mix of poblanos and habaneros are always fresh and plentiful. Now Im using the app and curbside delivery. While my fat thumbs are atrocious spellers, the app is great at figuring out what I want and showing me my options. Pupterts magically turn into poptarts. Molk is milk and cat lotter is litter and before I know it my order is complete. When I ask for only certain substitutions, my shopper graciously follows my instructions. Sometimes they even call to see if the substitutions they are making are okay with me. Now that is customer service! The fruit my shopper picks is fresh and ripe, the vegetables are shiny and firm, and any substitutions are perfect. Im learning to enjoy shopping with the app and having my groceries popped into my trunk with no effort on my part. Im getting spoiled. This must be how the wealthy shop for food! Thank you for giving me shopping options that suit my comfort level at this point in time.

Dont listen to the people directing checkout lines, we were waiting fine in a line when he asked us to go to the 15 item checkout line. I asked him if it was faster than just waiting in the regular line, I dont know if he was paying attention or just plain horrible at judging lines but that line took an extra 30min. I would have rather waited in our previous line.

On Monday June 22nd, I experienced two misleading grocery items. First, the bread bin of rolls for 25 cents per roll were instead packaged into a 6 pack bag and being sold for $1.89. They should honor the price of $1.50.Secondly, i browsed the meat department and noticed that the fresh ground beef had a scam going on also. I begin to laugh and the HEB meat packer was next to me. I ask her, why is there a big bold orange sticker on this package of ground beef say SPECIAL on it when it has the same exact unit price, $4.29 per pound, 80/20 fat, as this other package of ground beef next to it that doesnt have the SPECIAL sticker? I ask her what deal am i getting? Why is it so special? She responds and says that the meat grounded is of better cut beef. I look at her and laugh and walk away. HEB will rip you off when they can so be a smart shopper. True story.

I like shopping at HEB, however this store seems not to be as well stock as others and their parking lot always has trash flying around. It could be the location or the are busier than other locations, but they should spend time cleaning, it makes for a good first impressions.. Good prices and good service

Well i have been a vocal supporter of HEB for a few Years.But my support stops Today.after trying to lodge a Complaint about Heb ignorning The statewide Mask Mandate being lifted by The Governor of the great state of texas.I lost my one of my best friends Hector Hernandez 7 weeks ago to Covid .But in no way does that change my mind this mask mandate was and is wrong and hinderedherd immunity for a sars virus that is barely a speck on the chart of dangerous viruss.

HEB, great products, with Corona virus...still havent been able to buy antibacterial cleaning products. Ill have to try first thing in the morning. They have gone back to offering the cleaning wipes. It was much better with a designated cart cleaner.

Ill keep the rating I gave previously cause I do like HEB. My problem at the last visit was bad customer service and Ive never had that there. It was 8:30 pm stopped to get a few items. They only had one express lane open and 4 regular lanes open and then self checkout. I had about 15 items but express lane was really long and I had knee surgery about a week prior so I couldnt stand in line that long, so I went to self checkout since there were several lanes open. The young lady that was there to help said it was 10 items or less only and I said I understood but I explained my situation and she said sorry its ten items or less. At that point I just left my basket there and walked out, as I was walking out and I guess she saw me limping she said I could check out there, but I was already irate and said no thanks. First time that has ever happened to me at a store.

Love coming to shop at HEB! I just saved 24 dollars on in store saving and coupons. The cashiers are so nice and so are the baggers. They even did a carryout for us. Really clean and organized place to shop.

This HEB is good and has almost anything you are looking for. The one small negative is their prime beef dose not equal prime beef of other supermarkets or even other HEB stores i have been to.
