35+ year Professional guitarist (disclaimer: who did teach at the main store decades ago). This by far the best music store in the entire South Eastern New Mexico / West Texas region (I have been to them all)! Both the main store in Hobbs and the smaller one in Odessa have great friendly knowledgable staff with an uncommon caring customer first service that is refreshing to see these days. Absolutely much better shopping experience than I had from the El Paso Guitar Center or any other stores with as large an inventory in this area. They were able to locate and stock a rare Ibanez collectors edition guitar for me that would have never been found otherwise. Can not recommend this store more! Absolutely the best! 6 stars if I could and I am not being biased if you need real experienced helpful people and equipment this is your place!

Snobby acting sales people i asked about a thin body accoutic electric.They didnt have one i jokingly said i been looking for one for about a year and a halfAnd didnt understand why the music stores in town never have one.Salesman said i could get it online.i replied that wasnt an option as i would never buy a guitar without playing first.Salesman said thinbodys dont sale wellNobody buys them.I went three blocks west on 42nd street toNTUNE music and bought aYamaha APX 600 Thinbody for Same Low price as the internet.Im not impressed with this music store Ive been a musician for 40 years the only reason I went in to this music stores door for the the 1st time.was because my friend Hector Hernandez had bought drums from them and thought it was a good store.He passed away from Covid 2 months ago.i thought i would give them a chance.

Today I met Caleb Jones as I was looking at acoustic guitars and P.A. systems. He is excellent in his customer service. Very knowledgeable, personable and a really cool cat. I highly recommend this place for service and selection of quality products. This being new to town I can tell you this will be my go store for my musical needs. Very good experience. Bigger floor than the Midland music stores. Staff isnt as eager to help tho and they seem kinda uppity. No used gear and not an extravagant selection by any stretch. Still got my business but it was the last place I went and needed to make a decision. If youre a local this is probably the best place to go.
