They moved, not in this building anymore. They are now in front of Meijer where Leos used to be. The staff is knowledgeable, fun and tries to help you get the best deal. I buy a lot of things online, but I always upgradey phones here in person, because when I try online, it always turns into a cluster F of stress. At the store, they do it right and treat you right. They also do great at putting on screen guards.

I went in to get a new SIM card for my Jetpack. Simple enough request I thought. Process went smoothly EXCEPT when I got home I found out the Jetpack does not have any service. I presume they forgot to activate the SIM card. Another trip back to Verizon and another two hours out my life wasted.

Honestly one of the best Verizon retailers Ive been to! My phone has been acting up for a while and they had a new one ordered and sent to my address in less than 10 minutes. Going to Verizon is normally an hour long process and coming here was just a treat. This will definitely be my main Verizon store while Im in Lansing for college!

Not a very happy customer, left there very dissatisfied because the person helping me did not tell me till the doing the billing for the phone that there was a transfer fee even though i asked him if there were any other charges associated it. I am never ever shopping at this location again and I will make sure to tell people to never ever shop at this store location again. This is very wrong sure i understand its company policy but the agent should of told us that 1st and not the last thing.

I am very happy with the service I received yesterday and today. I went in yesterday with a phone issue and discovered that I had insurance on my phone. They ordered a new phone for me yesterday and it was delivered to my home today as promised. I needed help getting the s i m card out. I went into the store and they not only took it out but they helped me transfer all of my information. Thank you to Jay and Rocco! You guys are all awesome!. They also took the time to find an additional discount that I qualified for lowering my bill by $25 a month. Way to go!

Ive always had good experiences with this store. Last time I was there, my boyfriend wanted to get stuffed transferred from old phone to new one. Jay (the employee) informed us that they could do that themselves, but he told us exactly how to do that and showed us the adapter to do so. He was a big help, an excellent employee!

Wireless service is very good. However customer service at this store has been very poor in my experience. Sales representatives do not take care of customers the way they should. If you want to resolve an issue with your service and would like to cancel your service dont stop in. The only reason I am giving them 2 stars instead of 1 is because they have better coverage than most other cell phone services in the area. Dont let the clerks offer you a hum device. They get a bonus and it comes with a 2 year contract so they are incentiviced to push this. There are other options where companies are on a month to month basis or using a phone card with unlimited tends to be similar price or less through other carriers. In mid-Michigan they do have the best coverage of the 3 providers I have used.

I wish I hadnt been a jerk and had asked the salespersons name, because he was awesome and needs a raise/promotion. Somebody at the store, please look it up and tell him I said thanks. Best location for Verizon help and service in the area. After moving to Mid Michigan over a dozen years ago, this location has become my go to. At first, I had just stopped in at the Verizon location I happened to be near. However, it became clear that the people at this location know what they are doing and can actually answer questions. I currently have seven phones in service through them and wouldnt go anywhere else. I had tried another provider that offered more for less, but switched back in a month. Turns out you get less for less. Lesson learned.

Got treated very poorly, followed around as if I was stealing. Simply comparing cases on my S9 plus. I tried two cases on my phone to compare for size. I understand cases are not supposed to be opened.. how ever the two I was comparing already opened. Wouldnt recommend this location to ANYBODY.

Went in to get a new phone and update my plan, and I was in and out in 45 minutes. The person I dealt with, James, was very nice and knew his stuff. Even though my phone was brand new to the market and he wasnt super familiar with it yet, he still set everything up with no hassle and was friendly through the entire process.

Amazing experience! go see joe!!!We were there for a while setting up new phones and services longer than we thought would take but that’s not anyone’s fault we just had a lot of questions and joe provided the best service we could have ever asked for. I felt so bad it kept him until a few minutes after they closed, but he was so patient and didn’t complain once. It’s SO nice to go places like this and get amazing service especially when you’re a new customer and have so many questions.we appreciated it so much I would highly highly recommend seeing joe for any of your phone needs. Even when the other employees seemed annoyed and ready to leave, he wanted to make sure our service was 100% set up and ready to go. That’s hard to find these days. You rock!!! The customer service at this location sucked. Most of the employees dont know any of the deals that are going on let alone know what they are doing. Its not service at all. All they care about is charging us more money. We got much better service calling customer service through the phone. These people actually knew what they were saying. All we were trying to do was getting some options for exchanging a phone bought a day ago to a higher memory. However, even though there were multiple options with the holiday deals and everything, all they said we could do was get charged with a fee. Thanks for nothing.

I cant believe Verizon would authorize this location as a retailer. They are literally charging $40 for a gas station charger that I can get for $6 anywhere on the internet. Mind you, Samsung says specifically not to use after branded chargers on their device, hence the reason I went to a Verizon retailer. Sorry guys, notsorry.... you buy a bunch of stuff and mark it up 1000%? I tuned his messes. Nothing I sell makes me 1000%

Sales reps are rude and not upfront about what they are selling you. I get it, its a business and youre trying to make money, but just be honest and explain everything. Ive wasted hours of my life in this store the past 2 weeks dealing with problems they have created. Most annoying they somehow managed to cancel my phone number off my family plan so I had to get it reactivated. I talked to 2 people in stores and 2 people on the phone and not one of them told me there would be a $899 device buyback fee for re-activating my phone number that they canceled. So there goes another hour of my life fighting that charge. Worst customer service reps who are rude and not helpful, I will most definitely not be back to this store.

The worst service I ever have. I tried to switch from different provider, they were not able to change the carrier as they promised they will do. They charge me 191.08 dollars for a service I never used. went back and told them about the bill, they said they will fix it and that I do not have to pay anything, they ended up sending the bill to the collection company. They wasted lot of my time.I finally paid Verizon the 191.08 it is not appropriate.

I stopped in the Verizon Wireless store on Sunday, January 6th at approximately 5:50 pm and they close at 6pm. I was helped by 2 staff members named Dan & Joseph Z and they were phenomenal. I thought they might be irritated that I was coming in so last minute but not at all! They were extremely helpful with all of the issues I came in with and they sold me a pair of AirPods! I couldnt be happier with my experience overall and I would really like to thank Joseph Z & Dan once again! They are a huge asset to the team and Verizon Wireless should be proud to have them as their employees. Thank you again!!! I will definitely be back.

I drove all the way there from Grand Ledge to pick up two phones my husband ordered while out of state working. He had put my name on them and paid for them. When I got there they asked for my ID which I showed her. She asked if I had the card that purchased them. I said no. He’s out of state. She said she had to see it so I video chatted with him on my iPad so she could see him and he could show her the card and answer any questions she had. Still would not give them to me. He had to cancel the order and I went to another store and bought different phones. When he tried to call the manager would not answer and someone hung up on him. There was not that many people in that store. There were more employees than customers! They lied when they told him they were really busy!

The Okemos store, on grand river, is the only one in mid Michigan to go to! It may be the only Verizon store in existence, with good customer service. I started dealing with the Edgewood Blvd store, and quality of service can only go up from that place! I told my daughter to call around, and go anywhere but Edgewood. She called around, asked questions, and chose to try the Grand River location. Great experience, so Ive started going there myself. What a difference in stores!!!

Incredibly poor service. We were met by the greeter at the door with the news that there were 6 or 7 people in line before us. The best guesstimate we could get was that it might be 30-40 minutes before we could talk to anyone - and no we couldnt leave for a while and keep our place in line. This is an arrogant company that doesnt give damn about customer service and is unapologetic about you knowing it.

Worst customer service. My husband went in and talked to the manager initially about the promotion to switch your service to Verizon and trade in your phones. When he brought me back with him later that day to do the switch from Sprint the manager handed us off to a newbie. He entered our trade-ins wrong so we are not eligible for the promotional gift card; and now two months later Verizon says the store employee messed up, there is nothing they can do, and we have to take it up with the store. Called the store and got an extremely rude representative and a promise of a call back that never happened. Do not switch to Verizon if you can help it, and if you already have Verizon do not go to this store if you expect anything to be done or handled correctly.

Just my opinion: Ive always had what Ive considered very poor service at this location. It appears to me that, the sales people either dont know what theyre doing or dont care that theyre selling you less phone/data service for more money -- needless to say they didnt tell us this.Its been my experience that I get much, much better service calling the Verizon Customer Service number which is staffed by competent employees who are able to undo the damage done at the Okemos location.BTW: If I could rate this location with a negative number I would.

I went in today to activate my two new iphone 6s and when I walked in I was acknowledged by a nice gentlemen that asked me how he can help me. This was the only positive that came from walking in there today. The gentlemen that actually asked me how I was doing I believe was in training because after I told him I was in to activate my new iphones he went to another associate to ask what to do with me. He was directed by his associate to have me sit in the waiting area and call a activation number. I was taken back by this because I was the only one in the store with at least 4 employees and they wanted me to call the number to activate the phones. I figured this would be something they could have done for me, maybe some customer service. So after I called the activation number the lady I spoke with even stated she thinks it was ridiculous for me to be calling and that the store should be taking care of it. I mean I did spend around $1000.00 for these phones you think theyd try and make it easy on me and activate them. So she actually calls the store to tell the employees that she thinks it was wrong for them to have me do the activation process without there help. After that call to the store you think the associates would then try and help me, nope still no customer service, they just gave me bad looks. What upsets me about this situation is that I came in there asking for there help and they just pushed me into there waiting area and had me do there work. Very unprofessional and unaccommodating. I guess this stores policy is to have the customers do the work and they get paid for it. If you are looking for help do not come into this store.

My previous review wasnt so hot. recently I had purchased a new phone through the Facebook marketplace, only to find out it was unable to be used.Because of this I was then unable to use my SIM card I had tried putting in the phone. We walked in and were greeted by a woman who took our name. We told her we were there to buy two phones and a tablet. She said go ahead and look around. We already had a good idea what we wanted, so we looked them over then I went back to her to get help. I said were ready to buy and she said we were third in line. So we have to wait behind the tire kickers and the family of slobs with their McDonalds spread out on the counter? Dont think so. I went into Verizon Wireless to have some my tempered glass screen protector that they installed incorrectly and broke the new one and tried to blame me... very unprofessional and after crying because they made me feel so bad I over heard the rep talking about the crying poking fun behind my back. So then I tried to cancel my verizon contract and got ignored 3 times. I was going to switch to sprint because verizon lacks customer service and respect. So I will never be going back in fact I will be moving my services over to sprint as soon as I can or any other carrier would be better than disrespectful people trying to sell you stuff you dont need. I went here to purchase a case for my phone and they made me stand around and wait for a list of people that were trying to purchase new phones and plans. My intentions were to get in and out within 5 minutes. 5 minutes turned into 35 minutes and thats when I walked up to one of the Verizon workers and asked why I had to wait so long and she stated that there were 3 people still in front of me that needed assistance. Im literally standing with my phone case inithe middle of the store, stairning aimlessly. I told her that I only wanted to purchase a phone case and thats it, thats when the staff told me I was still to wait. Therefore, I left the building and proceeded to just go to walmart. I do not reccomend any of my friends or family to go to this store. I literally almost switched phone carriers because of my experience in THIS store. I NEVER have a problem at any other location in the area, but this place is something else. Please do not go to this location unless you are willing to wait an hour and watch the staff stand around with their iPads, not helping customers whatsoever. I had the worst experience here, and I will never be returning to this location again. I will drive miles out of my way just to avoid this location. Okemos, MI.

Guy took out my SD card without unmounting it, corrupted all my data, didnt care. I wouldnt even be giving this poor of a review if he didnt fly off the handle at me when I spoke to him about it. So, when you go in, be sure youve done literally all the research because the floor people sure dont know what theyre talking about. Guy seriously believed that unmounting my sd card would wipe it. Poor training, poorly handled. I was literally in tears because of this, and the guy acts like Im screaming obscenities at him. Not naming names but you can sure bet Ill never forget his.

Absolutely horrible visit. We checked in for a phone repair issue, and watched three CSRs look at their tablets and actively ignore us by going to the back. We waited a half hour with only two other guests in the store. My guess? They knew it was a phone repair issue and they couldnt make any money off of us.After that, the representative was the most insufferable, condescending moron Ive ever had the displeasure of speaking with. The entire time, we were talked down to like we are idiots, and lectured at how to use our phone. We were then denied a manufacturer defect claim (hardware issue) and told that wed have to contact the Tech Team via phone. The CSR refused to issue a replacement without us calling the Tech Team or us paying a $150 deductible for a accidental damage claim (false).To make it worse, when we stated the phone didnt charge wirelessly anymore, his response was this phone doesnt do that, only the Samsung ones do, and the iPhone. How can you be a CSR for a phone company if you dont know your products? The stupid phone is still on the display showcase for Gods sake.
