I waited in line patiently there was only one clerk on a Sunday I can understand that. My turn I asked the clerk if he could color match my color he said no problem he suggested a type of paint tells me there is no sale this weekend and the price is 75$ a gal Ive been a customer for 34yrs and has never paid 75$ a gallon for paint sherwin should really get to know there customers Ill be going to HD from now on bought a gallon of comprobable paint for 32$ it may pay to shop around

The staff is the greatest asset. Always willing to assist. The color walls help too. And the e-mail coupons certainly do not hurt. In my experience, local professional painters recommend and use Sherwin-Williams

The staff at this Sherwin Williams have all been FANTASTIC!!!. They are all very knowledgeable about their products, finishes, and colors. They have all been friendly, helpful, and professional. The paint I have purchased is beautiful and the colors are gorgeous. I highly recommend this Sherwin Williams location and their products. 5 stars all the way!!

Sherwin-Williams has great paint. Also, its team members are very knowledgeable about the paints and stains. Its very costly, be sure to grab one of the 30% - $40% off coupons that are widely available.

We were there looking for wallpaper on two occasions. The people were very unhelpful, even when asked for help. There were always two people there and their conversation was far too important to stop and assist a patron.

The service is exceptional - the staff is engaging and very knowledgeable. The store is well lit, organized and easy to navigate.

Customer Service from a sales associate was not good.

Ive shopped at this location several times and the staff is extremely helpful. Their employee Nick was a huge help the last time I shopped here, he was able to perfectly match a stain that I brought in. If you need a stain matched, ask for Nick!

To CentrolI40 and Herbert Grunau,,, I am a Professional Painter and visit the Okemos store 3 to 4 times a week, before you make certain remarks and review the store or attack individual employees, I would like to give you the advice to sit at the store for an hour or two, and observe the excellent guys there, who work their bud off to make ALL clients happy and give them as much time they need. And yes that means sometimes that the wait is a bit longer,meaning that the Sherwin Williams representative is paying Full attention to you as a client, As a self employed painter I to want to have my paint fast but I realize that these guys have only 2 hands and are trying their best. Stephen Gallant is for me a very excellent Assistant Manager and I hope he will soon be THE Manager at this location. Yes a lot is going on in this store, and lots of new employees has come and go, these kids are all very polite and try doing the best they can, it seems to me that since you 2 are in the minority with your review it says something about your lack of empathy, anything could be happening with someone on certain days Herbert, Stephen could have been not feeling well or something else was going on but for 99.9% he is always very courteous. And we are all Human. You are talking about someones job here if you feel you did not got treated right, then talk to Stephen personally instead of just writing a very short SNEER,without anymore to say why he was rude. Sherwin Williams hires for all their stores great workers, and not only at this Okemos store, you get better advice then anywhere else, if you are not happy with them then go to a large department store and try to find someone who gives you the attention that you want, if you can even find someone.

Terrible customer service! This was my first time in a Sherwin store, the clerk never left the counter and I was the only one in the entire store. When I asked a question, he seemed bothered and gave a cocky answer. Terrible first impression!

The staff is very nice and knowledgeable. Asked what room I was painting and when I told him the bathroom he mixed paint with a mildew inhibitors.

Exceptional customer service, high quality products and selection

I’m really disappointed that SW doesn’t offer complimentary paint samples if you purchase your paint there. They represent that the smallest available tester kit they have is a quart and it’s exorbitantly priced given the purpose of its use.

I came in to buy more paint that l had previously purchased a few years ago and when they pulled up my account only part of it was on record. I did get to purchase my paint but was disappointed that not all my previous purchases were saved only part of them.
