Myself and my teacher colleagues are so grateful for the staff at this Home Depot. We teach in a very low socioeconomic district and needed new whiteboards for our students. The staff graciously cut over 190 whiteboards for us out of shower board. Their largest competitor was not willing to do it, so in a last ditch effort we contacted the customer service department here and she was more than willing to oblige us. Thank you so much Home Depot you have earned several life long customers. Thank you so much for supporting teachers and our students.

My wife got me a battery operated chainsaw for Christmas from home Depot online ordering. I didnt use it until June so 6 months between purchase and use. The third time I went to use it, it just didnt work. I thought I was going to have a hard time trying to exchange it because of the time between purchase and return. I went into the store and I didnt have one ounce of trouble exchanging it! Great customer service! I could have had a hard time or the run around but instead they took great care of me. I will be buying all of my new stuff through them from now on.

I like the feel of this home depot better than other ones for some reason. Always very friendly staff, helpful, and I always leave here in a good mood. Always have what I need too.

As usual a 10 minute wait for assistance is standard. Staff told me the parts I needed were not available although they are on website. Went to Lowe’s was directed to the correct aisle and bin. They had parts I needed.If Home Depot was not so close I would not go there.

Where to begin. Sometimes the staff is wonderful, sometimes they dont seem to have a clue. Mostly they have what I want if it can be found. Unfortunately our local Ace hardware closed and the nearest one is 4 miles away so a quick trip is to Home Depot and that can be a challenge. Needed a kitchen sink drain strainer and the staffperson couldnt find one. Needed spray paint and it looked like stocking the shelf might happen soon. On the other hand service counter people were good and the checkout folks were friendly. As someone who goes there for home repair items, it is not without some trepidation.

Another customer and myself both agree on the following statement; its refreshing to have someone say I dont know, but let me find someone who does and then to track down the best person who can and will take care of the issue. Leveraging the value other team members bring to the table so the customer is better taken care of is highly respected in my book.Thank you Steve from C.S. and John (I think?) From garden. They had everything I needed and normally do some of the employees are very helpful. Couple did not really know much it might be new trainees or something. My only complaint was that there was some of the items which did not have prices marked on them.

Wish they had more of a selection on peel and stick tiles but the paint department totally made up for it! My bathroom color turned out perfect!

Home Depot seems to always have problems with inventory matter which store or state Ive gone to. Even with that, its a good place to go.

The Okemos Home Depot is great for all of your home project needs. The employees are often knowledgeable about the products, and locations, and most of them wear face masks (appropriately). There are signs and recorded announcements that say face coverings are required to enter the store but lately it seems like every time I go there, there are several people not wearing face masks at all, and the face coverings policy is not being enforced at all. Also lately, the Home Depot seems to be the cool place to take your dog for some reason... Which, who knows if thats allowed, but coming from someone with a dog allergy, its fairly bothersome to have to not only have to avoid people without face coverings, but people with their dogs too.Id like to say a big thank you to all of the employees who are doing their best to keep patrons safe, and doing it with a great attitude - You Rock!

The aisle service directed me to the new location of product I was looking for. The cashier helped us along by counting and scanning a repeating item, saving us time scanning each individual pieces through the self checkout lanes. SERVICE WAS VERY HELPFUL!

Great workers. They were very helpful.

I probably go to this place two to three times per week. Theyve helped me put together four bathrooms in the last 12 months. I love this selection on flooring and tile.

Personally prefer to avoid Home Depot. Nothing against this particular location. Usually what I need isnt available in store anyways. At check out I had the employee ask me where I found all the storage totes. How do your employees not know at least the general LAY OUT of your own store?

Mary in the paint department is a diamond in the rough! I cannot say the rest of the store would ever get a 5 star review but WOW what amazing people they have working in the paint department! All were knowledgeable and exceedingly helpful. Especially Mary, thanks so much for the help.

This morning I called to order a new washer dryer at the Okemos location. This very friendly lady, Lisa was fantastic!! She was so helpful and understanding of my situation. Her customer service skills were on Point!! Thank you very much, you made my day!! You maam, are a key employee. Not many like you out there!! 5☆

Needed to buy a new dryer. Came in ready to purchase and woman sitting at desk never even acknowledged us. She wasnt helping anyone, just sitting at the desk on computer. After my husband and I waited to see if she was going to help (she didnt) we left, went to Best Buy and purchased a new dryer with their friendly knowledgeable staff. Best Buy made it super easy when though we needed a dryer that worked with LP. Itll be here in 3 days and installed!

What can I say love my Home Depot

I typically find what I need and the sales floor associates are helpful.

Well I spend most of my paycheck here so that sucks, but they typically have most things you want. I have found the website to either be broken or inaccurate much of the time which makes it challenging to shop here sometimes. I know the website isnt the stores fault.

Picked up a mower, very fast service. Helpful worker took mower out of box to fit in trunk.

Quick great peóple working there.

Generally, I like this store. But getting someone to talk to you about a project is not easy. Also, seems like the aisle I need is frequently closed.

Update: Second Install date was today, July 8th. Just received a call that the installer wouldn’t be able to make it today either. Install window was 9-1 and they called at the end of the window to notify us and said someone will call back to reschedule. Don’t even think we can get a refund at this point. So BEWARE of losing time off of work for no show carpet, unless you work from home.Purchased carpet from them in April and it was supposed to be installed yesterday (June 28). So after waiting two months for carpet the installer stood us up. The installers Home Depot hired (CFI) have not returned our calls or rescheduled us. Both times we’ve gotten someone and they’ve promised to call us back and did not. We also took off work and never received a call from anyone that the installer was unable to complete the job, we had to call multiple times to even learn this information, after our 8am-12pm install window expired.Today I spent 15-20 minutes being transferred around and/or disconnected on the phone with the Okemos store trying to find answers and they literally just kept sending me to someone’s voicemail instead of finding someone that was in store that could help me out.We completely regret going with them, this process so far has been a hot mess, with poor communication and no customer service.

Store is clean, face mask required. They have hand sanitizer stations setup throughout the store for people to use. Employees are willing to help you and are happy to help. Over all one of the better home depots

Being that Im legally blind and very little of sight left. But ask most people there and they gave me the help I needed.

I bought a Dewalt deck screw gun using collated screws from Home Depot years ago. Now they dont have the screws or the screw gun. What good are they. Found out the screws are available on line. So disappointed in the box store.

Apparently no one checks for people wearing masks upon walking in. Multiple men walking around the store with no masks, thinking their above others.You should probably check that everyone wears a mask in your store, for the safety of your employees and customers.Do better.

Typical Home Depot. Store fairly clean compared to most. We had 2 workers ask us if we needed help which is nice. We were looking for baseboards. Had a very nice gentleman help us and we will buy the pro pack per his recommendation.

If your thinking of having any project done thru Home Depot services please think again.I buy all my materials from home depot matter fact I was one of top 10 contractor accounts last year.This year I’ve lost a kitchen remodel that the customer wanted from Home Depot services but they could not provide the customer service to get the ball rolling.The customer called me so I went to Homedepot tried to get the ball rolling after like 3 to 4 weeks I also could not get things going so we lost customer again due to Home Depot.On to current job with isssue Home Depot has contract with Mkd which is a company who provides counter tops to Home Depot we are now a 3 months 2 cancelled install dates.Even know Home Depot has contract that says counter tops have to be installed in 30 days here we are like 90 days out.Home Depot is not the issue but the vendors they use are the issue.I see the jobs the installers for Home Depot do and I’m appalled that is what people are getting.So if your doing a remodel or home project call a local guy who will provide a service and quality that can’t be matched by the big box store.

The employees that ran into were very pleasant & knowledgeable as to the layout of the store. As a first time visitor its nice to ask & receive rather that wander around the store looking for something because it seems no two Home Depots are the same layout. They were lenient on the mask enforcement, I for one was VERY happy about that but if youre in the belief that a mask will save you from a virus then you might think twice.

The workers we spoke with knew nothing!! We were looking at refrigerators, no knowledge about refrigerators and had a very bad attitude!!!

I am going to say that most of there employees are great and very assertive. You have your few who care only about your pay check and not people I hope that you will realize that your actions affects your company that you work for and the growth of the investment that they set forth. Meaning take your job a bit more seriously and treat the customers with the utmost respect and help you can provide them. Sometimes a company may be short-handed but thats when you get recognized even faster and easier when you give the best you have to fill in for being under staffed or under managed. Give 100 % to all those around you and you will get the same in return. Your employer is your partner in finances as you are there key for success and future employment. Decent selection, decent Help. Might need to quarantine if you go in here for longer than an hour, tons of anti maskers, but what do you expect from Home Depot? Also, you might have to wait 30 minutes for someone to finally help you cut wood or find the right screw. Always extremely loud, they allow dogs in there so there’s a ton of barking all day and babies crying. Employees look miserable but they get the job done. Feels dangerous at night, sketching people hanging out.

Well kept store but not many employees offering help during my visit. Maybe it was just busy?

Good selection, and items we are looking for are usually in stock. Perhaps the greatest quality of this store is the customer service. Employees around the store are great at helping you find what youre looking for and looking things up if they arent sure.
