Great staff, great location. Took the grandkids after a hike and we all loved it. The kids had ice cream and we had shaved ice. Good prices and fast service. We will be back!

Oh, my. My wife and I stopped in tonight for our first visit after wanting to check it out for a while. They did not disappoint. They took the time to explain everything to us and were patient as we hemmed and hawed over which flavors to choose, plus they let us sample the ice cream flavors.Everything was delicious! Well definitely be back again. Tons of flavors for the shave ice, lots of smoothie options, great selection of ice cream flavors, and specialty popcorn flavors. We wish we hadnt waited so long to try this place out, and now were determined to make up for lost time! 😁

The owner is so nice! Great opportunity for local teens for first job. All items Ive tried have always been very good. Everyone always greats you and is very helpful. Great addition to our small corner of Olathe.

Came here for my sons 6th birthday.. he wanted a snow cone... we had never been here before and didnt realize they also have ice cream smoothies popcorn and more... great service as well and they have Superman Ice cream...or play doh as its called here:) have not seen other places with it out of Michigan so Im excited and well definitely be back!!

I just love myself some Kansas living. This place rules like totally. Oh so Yummy for my Tummy. Many delicious flavors made obviously with fresh fruits. Good price for the abundant products

If you order the big kahuna thinking oh this large cup is that NOPE they gave a humongous amount. It was a nice surprise especially since its only $6! Be prepared to take some home, Im being serious its a ridiculous amount! The flavor was great, I ordered the lemon-lime and the strawberry lemon, we both had no complaints. The ice is almost all vegan (all but one), so thats always a plus! 10/10 would recommend.

Even though it was very busy, the staff eas friendly, patient and helpful! The ice cream was delicious, and the cinnamon popcorn is some of the best! Ill definitely be back!

Love this place! The shaved ice is great and the ice cream is good too. 3 stars because recently they have been out of A LOT of flavors of ice cream. My toddler was massively disappointed when they told us they were out of vanilla... who runs out of vanilla ice cream? Had to make an extra trip to another place for it. Anyways.. Ill bump this up to 5 stars if they can consistently have their ice cream flavors available.

I give three stars because I want my negative comment to be used for good use. I want this place to succeed.We had the ice cream and it was good. We had the shaved ice and not only did they messed up my order but it way like have plain ole ice. They are very cheap with the flavor. I think Tads does much better.

This is a cool place .has alot of stuff you can get there.the rookie road ice cream is really good .the people there are very helpful and friendly..they even will let you try it before you buy it.so go there and try it.

Not impressed with the ice shavings.Pro- Got a pretty big cup for a small sizeCons -- Horchata sno cone tasted of sugar syrup and nothing else.- Hawaiian Punch was super sweet but very weak flavoured punch- Bahama Mama was again super sweet with very weak notes of coconut.

The shaved ice and ice cream are delicious, authentic, and very reasonably priced. Huge variety of flavors! We loved it so much we came back the next day to get more! Haven’t tried the popcorn yet but have heard it’s also great.

What great little place with legit shave ice! And So much more!

We went today 5/24/2020. We got 3 long boards. As you can see from the pic our order was written on each side. We got 2 of the decorative cups and one that was not. We where told that the plain one was the same size as the decorative ones.Once we where done I went and measured each one. The plain cup holds 2 cups of water and the decorative ones hold 3 cups of water. By volume these are not the same cups.Not just that but the decorative cups where filled over the edge in the clear plastic dome and the plain cup had the white lid on it. This would mean there was still more in the decorative cups than the plain one. We paid 4 dollars for each and we got ripped off on the third.We have been going to hokulia since it opened and never have had this happen. This was very dishonest and uncalled for.6/6/2020 We came in and ordered 3 shaved ice 1 long board, 2 short boards and 1 smoothie 1 shake. We recieved the 3 shaved ice the right way but the shake was a 16 oz not a 24oz.The workers are not paying attention. I asked my son if this was what he ordered and he said no. If we where not physically there in the store to ask them to remake it. I belive this would of ended like last time. These accidents seem to be happening everytime I bring my family in.This will stay a one star until orders are correct.6/10/2020Thank you for the reply. I respect that you want to resolve this by making an order for us when we are there and knowing who we are so that it is not messed up. But the whole part of constant and accurate service is not knowing not who youre making it for and why but being accurate each and every time.As for my first order I was not given a receipt so I can not verify what you mentioned. I can only agree with you and state that there was still a mess up in the order which is the point.Since I did not want to do the drive through the last time we visited. I wanted to see the accuracy of the orders for a walk in order. This was also messed up but corrected when we expressed what had happened. I am glad for that. But this would be a mess up two times in a row.I fully understand being human and the mess ups that we do. As for that I do just want you to know a mess up each time that we decide to come in does not feel like an accident. No matter how a situation is met with, accountability of knowing what you have, how you deal with that and the orders that are being taken accurately is a part of key points in service.Keep up your work you are doing, just remember we will come back. I wont be announcing when we do but that is all part of the constant changing orders and customer service.I believe in supporting our community.

We have had shaved ice and ice cream from here and everything has been fantastic. One of our favorite places to visit.

Disappointed to have a car load of kids ready for some shaved ice tonight arriving at 7:40 to the doors already closed. There were 2 other cars that arrived after.

Deplorable customer service and snotty attitudes. Pulled into the drive-thru an hour and a half before closing. We were fourth and last in line. Not long after pulling in an employee blocked off the drive-thru entrance with chairs. Fifteen minutes later, no movement. Finally an employee at the drive-thru window flagged the first car to the window. Headset wasnt working. After waiting yet another fifteen minutes we started calling the restaurant. No response and just a long marketing recording. I left my car and knocked on the window. No response. I went inside to inquire and was met with rude behavior when I informed them there was a line of cars at the drive-thru. I was spoken to horribly by an employee who told me the drive-thru was closed and thats why the chairs were there. I let her know we were in line before the chairs were put out and we had been waiting for a half an hour. Her excuse for ignoring us was was Door Dash, they were busy. Keep in mind, only one of the four cars in line had ordered and left in half an hour. By the time we reached the window fifty minutes had passed. I let the employee know we had been waiting for fifty minutes and was told sorry and we could still order. Seriously? These employees show ZERO accountability for their lack of professionalism, lack of action, lack of any customer service. There is no excuse for this treatment and the drive-thru staff should be fired. We left and went to Price Chopper. In what reality is this behavior not only tollerated but accepted?

Everything here is good and cheap(the popcorn is expensive but still good)I never thought ice cream and shaved ice would go together so well. The last few times they made mistakes on our order but it was so good we didnt really complain, just make sure they repeat your order because it can take awhile. This is easily my kids new favorite place for a treat.

Some of the best shaved ice that Ive had. Instead of a bunch of flavorless ice with the flavor puddled at the bottom, the flavor is throughout every bite of the shaved ice. I kept mine pretty basic with just one flavor, but you can mix it up with an ice cream scoop and toppings.

Highly recommend the play dough ice cream. Lots of flavors to choose from when doing shaved ice.

Came here to get some spicy popcorn for mothers day. I bought my mom white cheddar habanero and a very small bag of ghost pepper. She went over my grandmas and brothers house to share and she said my brother put up his begging bowl after trying the white cheddar one and my grandma said the ghost pepper was too hot but she enjoyed them, I will be back to try the snow cone.

Just tried this place for the first time and we are in love! The ice cream, shaved iced and popcorn are all to die for. It was amazingly clean and had just about the nicest staff you could ever ask for. We will be back often!

This is not your average shaved ice... its so smooth and the flavors are unique and plenty. You can add ice cream in the middle (rootbeer ice and vanilla for example) and then its creamy too. Their smoothies are also not run of the mill... everything is fantastic. Service is great as well.

What can I say? It is ICE CREAM! but the difference is the service! Those kids (mostly teenage girls) have a really good attitude. Greeting you as you open the door making you feel welcome. We love this place. The sno cones have lots of syrup, and the flavor is great. The ice cream is extra creamy and delicious, and they have a ton of flavors (of both ice cream and sno cone syrup) that you dont normally see at places like this. They are also now offering popcorn in tons of tempting flavors. They have a place to eat inside, but they also have a drive thru, which is nice. We wish it were bigger on the inside and that there was more than one picnic table outside. But overall this place is outstanding, and its the best sno cone place Ive ever seen.
