Wow, cleanest most organized pawn shop in the metro area. Tom, Zach and John are the friendliest most knowledgeable and professional guys Ive ever dealt with at a pawn shop. They have quality goods and products that are clean and organized. I was truly amazed and how my transactions went so easy and smooth. You cant miss with Alpha Pawn.....a definite 5 out of 5 stars!!!

This is my go-to location for FFL transfers. I have used them twice and their fee is lower than other places I have tried ($25 when I was there). Prices on guns are competitive. Clean place with a friendly staff. Would recommend 5/5.

Every time I go into this store I am greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. The people are so friendly. They have the best inventory of stuff. Over the years that this shop has been opened my husband has gotten me two beautiful rings from them. One yellow canary diamond and another huge stunning diamond ring. They even polished it for me! I also recently got a pair of coach sunglasses in the original case with the cleaning cloth. They are the best! We trust them with our stuff and highly recommend them.

Always the best selection, The employees that work here are always helpful and super nice. You can trust your stuff with them. I have always recieved a call if my pawned item goes past 90 days without payment to warn me of its delinquency. This is important as stuff happens and sometimes we forget or money gets tight. Its good to see a pawn shop that isnt waiting to capitalize on your misfortune. Layaway makes it easy for larger purchases and they also have another shop in Missouri. This shop has been in business for a long time so no worries as to if they will be there tomorrow. Highly recommend 👌

I took in a ring with Rubys that was rather old .when my mom seen it and I did the middle 11/2 ct ruby didnt match the others that where origonal from 1940.the ruby was chipped where the prongs hold it inand the prongs you can see where broken and then rebent to hold it.then it fell out.lost so making a complaint cannot happen. Im not sure what employee did the swap but shame on you.

Ive been doing business with alpha pawn awhile now and they are the best. Great friendly customer service and they have a great selection of firearms which they are very well versed in. I bought a pistol there once and they threw in an extra mag which probably would have cost 30 bucks anywhere else. Great place hands down.

Alpha Pawn has a total of three convenient locations throughout the Metro area and one of them is in Olathe.They offer layaway, FFL transfers (purchase a firearm off internet, have it shipped to Alpha Pawn) then pick it up).The Olathe location is clean, COVID-19 compliant and staffed well.Best times are mid-afternoon as they do get quite busy!

I usually go to Alpha Pawn to buy jewelry for my wife and guns for me.  However, they recently remodeled and have a TON of stuff out for sale!  So this time I bought a chainsaw to trim my trees and clean up after the storms. Then I put a nailgun and compressor on layaway, so I can fix my deck and fence. Not only am I saving money doing it myself, but the tools were so cheap! I used to love this place and had a long standing relationship with them. So when I fell behind on my 2 24k rings and called to to talk to one of the guys there I was very happy that they said my beautiful rings were still there and they would give me a chance to come in the following week (today) to reinstate them I had every reason to trust that. I called today to let them know I was coming and was told that on Monday they sent them to be melted down!!!! After they had agreed to wait for me. Im in tears. These were my wedding bands. Had they just been honest it would be different but instead they lied and now Im devastated.Dont trust them. Get your things out as soon as possible. Their word means nothing to them and their response to not keeping their word is yeah, its gone. they could care less. Again I know its a pawn shop but dont lie to customers. Ill never go back. After a long standing relationship theyve lost my business.

Alpha Pawn gave me a FAIR price and didnt try to lowball me when I came in to borrow money against my Beretta PX4. The staff was professional, courteous, and willing to help. Ive also bought items from them in the past at great prices and they always have a huge selection of Tools, Electronics, and Firearms. If Im ever needing a loan again Alpha Pawn will be the only place I go.

Walked in, two guys behind the counter, neither said hello. Walked Around, and looked at every shelf and every display, walked within 1 foot of one guy and managed to walk out without ever having been acknowledged. Decent prices on decent gear and guns but I will NEVER go back. Thats not how you run business.

Do not take your music gear to this shop, they told me immediately that they have no market for instruments and offered me 430 bucks on 3000 bucks worth of stuff. The guys were really friendly and kind. Just dont bring them musical stuff.

As a regular customer of Alpha Pawn I just wanna say how happy I am to be a customer of theirs.. Three adults came in here and decided to forget a child in their vehicle for about 3 minutes in this nasty hot humidity weather first off.. then picture this, u have 3 adults ignoring a toddler and acting like children themselves fighting over who wants to take care of her and who wants to look at things (pathetic I know and poor baby girl) sooo you have a lil girl crying and screaming in a small business... Well of course as a parent myself I would of taken my child outside and cuddled him/her until they felt better or asked them what they wanted or needed until them calmed down outta respect for others because they cant hear or talk to the employees or other customers its just respect... Sooo as a regular customer I think the Managers handled everything perfect!!!

Nice little shop! The people there are the friendliest of any pawn shop in town. They dont have a lot of stuff, but theyll make you a good deal on what they do have!

Horrible experience, went in looking for a semi-auto shotgun. 2 guys behind the counter (one was nice) but the shorter brunette guy was rude from the get go. Did not know the difference between a pump and a semi-auto. He stated he has never heard of them and that they don’t carry semi-auto shotguns. I clearly pointed to 3 or more sitting on the rack. He was hesitant to even show me one off the rack. As he ate his McDonald’s at the desk he began to lecture me about how I don’t know what I’m talking about and how clearly inexperienced I am. This guy was so rude to the point another customer just laughed and shook his head. After about 15 minutes of getting nowhere and being treated with horrible customer service, I went down the street to Olathe Trading Post where they are knowledgeable and friendly in the gun sales department. Not only did I find me a nice semi-auto shotgun but I went ahead and picked up another shotgun for my uncle while I was there as well. Will be telling my local hunting buddies to not do business here in the future smh

Not a single good experience at this shop. When you walk in to do business, one employee specifically acts like he is the customer and not you. One example i remember well was trying to sell them a gift card. After looking at the card and scratching off the security code, they decided not to buy it. Since they had scrapped off the security emblem, I was then unable to sell it anyplace else. Thanks a lot. Just one example.

I have been doing business with Alpha Pawn for a little over a year now. I had some bad experiences with other Pawn shops in the Olathe area before I found Alpha Pawn. Needless to say Alpha Pawn is the only pawn shop in the area that will get my business in the future!
