Amazing place staff was awesome lots of reclaimed wood to look through. Great prices!

Drove all over CT for a few weeks to find 4 identical 9x9 hand hewn beams. I ran into all kinds of people and prices, non helpful or within budget. I met Zach and Shane at CT River Lumber and within 15 minutes had chosen 4 beams which they prepared and delivered to my house within a few days. Super nice, super helpful and best of all their prices are reasonable.Update: One beam was slightly rotted and had a crack. I took it back to them and they helped me no problems. I recommend this place to anyone looking for unique wood.

Awesome Place for old wood! We bought 2 mantles from here and picking up our 3rd today. Super excited to see what the finished piece looks like.

For 2 months I searched, emailed and called Lumber yards in lower NY & Connecticut, enquiring about purchasing a reclaimed beam for a special project. No one replied or called back - except for Connecticut River Lumber. After visiting, Im even more impressed. John is a gentleman and a scholar of fine wood. The array of lumber, especially the reclaimed will excite anyone with a love for crafting or working with wood. Exit 66 and the red barn of Connecticut River Lumber was joyfully added to my GPS favorites.

Great service and inventory. I went in to look for a piece of live edge wood for a kitchen shelf Im making. I thought they had a lot of great options, it was cheaper than some options I saw online and they were super helpful and helped cut the piece of wood I bought to the size I wanted.

Very friendly and knowledgeable, Zack helped us out in finding a perfect piece of reclaimed wood to make a few shelves. Would definitely recommend this place.

I walked into the store, there was no one at the front desk. I could here someone taking on the phone in the office behind the ftont desk. I said couple of times Hello, Hello, loud enough so he could hear me, still no answer. Walked in the office and said How are you, the guy didnt even look at me and continue talking on the phone. I stood there for a min and finally left. What kind of fuc... place is that. Terrible customer service!!!
