I’m giving them 3 stars only because the staff is a ALLOT off the radar. Lol They are all CRAZY & HOSTILE “run”!!! 😩🤣🤦🏽‍♀️ Other than that I’m a truck driver & I love a clean shower & restroom area. You cannot deny them of this!!!

You can say it’s a local parking place, not a truck stop… Showers were clean, store is ok but parking place is a mess. I don’t blame only them, the Truckers have their contribution too.

Good for a rest stop, as parking is usually available for non truck drivers, however they are understaffed and the subway is hardly open day or night. Ive seen numerous employees outside yelling at people on there cell phone belligerently. They barely ever have food other than pizza. Soda machine has been out of Dr. Pepper for a month. Hot dog rollers are usually empty. They need to do some serious employee reconfiguring. Only a couple really good employees.

First time at this truck stop. Laundry was closed off so we couldnt do laundry. We are a smaller straight truck and because there were tow trucks, bob tails, and other straight trucks parked in the RV, area we parked there to allow more spaces for the larger semi trucks on ther smaller truck lot. We had been there for over 24 hours and had already spent the previous night there, planning to leave on Monday morning, when staff knocked on our door asking us and others to move at 10pm at night (Saturday night). Had it been done during the day when people are up and about and can move to other parking, no problem but to do it then and do it with attitude, not cool. Also, now that weve moved to the street, Im watching and Im not seeing the tow trucks that should be coming to get, what I was told during the day by regulars are trucks and tow trucks that park there on a permanent basis and their owners are no where to be found. So those will stay but us drivers who spent money at this location for hours buying fuel and food and not from the area, we had to move late at night. Not cool at all!

Parking needs alot of help. Showers were very clean. My only problem was this: 2 cashiers came from out of the back wearing latex gloves. And immediately started serving pizza and other quick food. Never changed gloves or anything. They might have been cleaning toilets, no way to tell. I had to pass on getting anything to eat.

No showere, due to no one to clean them. 3 cashiers standing around not doing anything. Filling a complaint with there corporate office. I sownd 1200 a week 8n there stores a week just on fuel. Thats not to mention just about every meal and snack that is bought cimes out of there stores. Not having anyone to clean restrooms and showers is not an option.

Place is a dump! Trucks parked taking their 10 hour breaks in 3 of the fuel islands. Trucks triple and double parked in front of the fuel islands. Can’t even exit the fuel island without backing out into the street. Garbage cans overflowing. Management afraid to ask drivers to move so you can even exit the property. Drivers sitting outside in lawn chairs at 430 in the morning drinking. I’ve seen a lot of rat hole Pilot truck stops, but this one beats them all!

For 10 years this used to be our favorite truckstop. Not anymore. They got a little too greedy as most of the parking lot is now „Reserved Only“. And we‘re not going to pay for 24 hours when all we need is to switch as a team. Showers, grab a coffee and off we are. But today we just left since there was no regular parking spot at the noon hour. We’re owner operators, we pay for everything but we refuse this corporate robbery. From now on we‘ll just pass by.

A lot of local drivers parking which takes from otr.if locals are going to park they should be paying the prime parking

Disappointed that laundry room completely shut down since were on our 34 break and wont have a chance to do laundry for another week. Also trucks parked in areas where its marked no parking/striped areas and left for days with no one in the truck. Store and restrooms were clean.

Clean, spacious showers, and a relatively clean store are about all I can say for this location. RV parking is limited. The worst features are the difficulty entering & exiting the property, as it is located at high-traffic intersections without traffic-control lights, resulting in MANY NUMEROUS vehicle collisons! (Upon exiting, drivers must do the very best they can to safely maneuver across 4 heavily-travelled, uneven, unrestricted lanes of traffic, in order to re-enter Hwy 78.) This establishment needs to hire more competent daytime management, as during the peak daytime hours, customer service and efficiency is a hurried, frustrating mess, as reflected on the frowning faces of employees and customers alike. Subway is the only restaurant, and service there isn’t much better. In fact, even though the Subway restaurant is supposed to be open 24 hours, if you visit the restaurant after midnight you’ll be lucky to find anyone to serve you period, as I have found to be the case on multiple visits where the restaurant employees were lounging in the back talking on their cell phones to friends, or napping on the job, leaving the customer to stand & wonder or ask employess in the convenience store for help locating someone in the restaurant. On more than one occasion, the entire Subway was closed unexpectedly due to lack of available staff.

I did not have a bad experience here showers where clean and hot. Subway was good. But yeah parking lot is small.

Typicalnif most if youve been ti one. Smaller than the larger stores you find on the interstate. Still, plenty of coffee and parking near by.

No truck parking nothing but bobtails and dropped trailers but staff can’t do anything about it do you corporate. If the bobtail trucks weren’t in 60% of the spots it would get more stars

Terrible parking management. Lines on the ground are pretty much gone so truckers park wherever, and this is among the many locations who dont police or enforce their Prime parking spots until someone comes along who bought a spot hours ago and cant find one when they arrive. Concrete is also torn up in the lot, and caved in so badly in some places that it seriously looks like a sinkhole is forming or an underground tank has collapsed or something. Avoid if at all possible.

Unprofessional evening manager.Must enforce reserve part of reserve parking. I reserved early in the day for parking where I end my day, especially in this part of the country. Now Im borderline violation for DOT HOS regulations because the staff here are to lazy to enforce reservations.Rude subway employee (AM). Trashy land hole filled lot.

Horrible place. All the reviews are correct. Buy a parking spot then show up and they say sorry all the spots are full by people that dropped there trailer or truck and did not pay. Save yourself and go somewhere else.

Night manager shows favoritism to the local drivers. I arrived here around 10 this morning. I went ahead and paid for a reserve spot online and went to get a receipt and the cashier said that I had to come back after 4 pm to get a receipt for the parking. At this point Im drained, I went to sleep. I woke up a few hours later and see like 2 trucks park and get in personal vehicles and leave. They dont have any type of receipt in their windows. Yet Im awaken to move my truck. Had to prove that I paid. Totally unsatisfactory.

The manager was very rude he didnt like the look of my RV and didnt want it on his property. I will tell everyone I know on all my RV traveling Pages to stay away from this flying j. This store shouldnt even be able to call itself a flying j.

Husband went this morning for diesel and the pump was broke. Could not get a shower either.

Not the worst truck stop, but not the best either. I would have given it four stars but they werent able to make change for the coffee that I bought. Pretty safe place to stay in your car or RV overnight on a trip.

Avoid-only half of the gasoline pumps work. The other are pumping at a snails pace. This has been like this for several months. Some pumps also dont have operating credit card readers, requiring you to go inside and guess at how much fuel you will need. Not the most friendliest staff, but not the worst I have encountered. Please fix this Flying J!!!

Sold us a shower. We waited 45 minutes. All showers were vacant the whole time. Went and asked what the hold up was. we dont have hot water. Oh, so now you tell us. The vegetables at subway were rotten. Tasted like ammonia. Caused bathroom issues later.

Parking is still an issue. It appears that drivers park their bobtails and go home for the weekend. There is always one bobtail parked is the driveway.That said, the shower this Saturday morning was great.

You can obviously see the lack of training in cleanliness!!!! It shows that its been years that this has been going on, when the walls of the bathroom have stains on them thats just nasty!! I felt like I needed to go take a shower after using the restroom !!! There have been several complaints about this on the reviews but the only response from the owner is,,, thank you for your concern!! Whaaaat?!?!?!? Falling apart, no air for tires even in the Truck side or RV islands, the pumps are all slow and dont shut off automatically.

This is an older Flying J. Not very big and is in need of updates. The showers werent that clean, there are only 2 washers, but at least they have them. Have a subway and food at the counter. The coffee was fresh. They keep the front of the store and fuel islands clean and trash empty but the rest of the parking area is dirty and we were there from Friday to Sunday and not once did anyone empty the trash in the reserve parking area. There were 5 cans that were overflowing with trash on the ground when we arrived and when we left it was the same. My husband complained twice and basically was told that he was lying by a Flying J employee. I wouldnt recommend this location but realize it is centrally located to where trucks pick up. So sense they dont have a threat if losing business they dont care.

Like this place, parking lot is huge, so far so good.Clean and respectful so far.Just a few employees with long faces but maybe they just having a bad day... We all do.Ill just take it as a positive thing to prevent harming my heart.Other than that the place a nice. Been here a lot an will be coming until they step on my toes, they will have to change the review.Keep it up.

Live their prices and fresh food and great staff!! I even left not phone there a couple weeks ago on accident and when I realized thats probably where it was, they had it put up for me and gave it back to me when I came looking for it!! That does NOT happen in this day and age. There is much to be said about the character of these employees!!!

Mgmt. needs to have employees put their cell phones up while their working..or TRYING TO WORK. DIDNT SEEM TO FRIENDLY EITHER, so just went to the other register, PLUS no line. Guess her texting was more important than customer service. The gentleman working last night, Mon 6/1/20, was exceptional-excellent Customer Service, Very Personal, GIVE HIM A RAISE!! Held The Place Down By Himself For A Bit!! KUDOS!!

Im certain this is the dirtiest truck stop Ive ever been in. Both toilets in the womens restroom were dirty. (One had dried feces on it and the other had dried urine.) I mentioned this to one of the workers and she didnt seem very concerned.The floors throughout the store were not only dirty but had visible trash on them.There was absolutely no decaf coffee on the premises. I know this is a truck stop and a lot of truckers come in to get a cup of coffee to help them stay awake, but decaf should be available to those who cant have caffeine.I obviously needed some help in the store, and the three employees that I came in contact with were not helpful at all. Two of them actually ignored me when I asked for assistance. When I checked out, the man at the register never smiled, never asked how I was, or gave any other kind of greeting. When I told him, I hope you have a wonderful day!! He replied with, Okay. It was as a very odd experience. I thought for a moment I was being punked.

The store is decent, the showers are clean, the staff is friendly. Why only three stars? The management has no control over their truck parking. Sure, they make their money on reserved parking, and they police the reserved spots, but the rest of the lot is basically a drop yard for locals. Several dropped trailers, rigs that are parked for days without drivers around. Hasnt the manager here figured out that his weekend sales should be much higher, considering that the lot is jam packed? I hate walking into a store and the cashier acts as if you’re invisible. She started sweeping as if that was more important than helping customers.This lady saw me walk-in, helped 4 ppl that came in after me and only redirected me and informed me that I needed to come to her register for (big truck fuel) because she was getting a slice of pizza for another guy and could no longer ignore me. The womens restrooms smelled awful and were dirty. The entire front of the store was cluttered with holes in the ceiling.

Sometimes, they need more cashiers. The line will be wrapping around in the aisles before the manager will come and help. Then he acts like we interrupted him. But most of the time it runs pretty smooth. Kinda slow quite often. But the Subway shop, is completely, absolutely awesome!! Best service, hands down! No waiting. Over all, the Flying J is clean, very clean. It IS busy, but it does move at a reasonable clip. I actually like the place.

Nice clean showers with good water pressure. Decent water pressure isnt as common as you might think at pilot flying j. Only 3 stars because there was some insane loud high pitch chirping noise about every 60 seconds. Idk where it was coming from but it sounds like an alarm malfunction to me.

We are usually here 3/4 times or more each week. We get gas and buy snacks and drinks almost every time. I was really upset that the sugar-free cappuccino was replaced by the seasonal flavor.That was a few months ago, first chocolate mint,then pumpkin spice,still no sugar-free option. As a diabetic with already limited options this has made it where I will take my business elsewhere to have my cappuccino fix.

Dont eat at subway they have bad customer service. They had a sign up saying they would be back @ 9:30 I was there @ 10:00 and a young lady was at the register she called another girl that was in the back and told her that she had a customer the girl walk up and said its a sign right there and walked out she was so rude. This store has some of the best fuel prices in town. It is in the top 3 choices of fuel centers I go to. Access is reasonable. Peak times may be tough and all fuel bays may be full. You may have to wait in line. I have never had to use the shower facilities, however the restroom was decent and clean when I did use it. A drink and a snack was about the extent of food I have had here. It has a restaurant, that is a separate business, and has to be reviewed separately. I see a lot of truckers and outbounders here but I have never used the facility as such. I have parked my vehicle here for a day while riding with someone else in a large truck and it was safe. Parking lot is well lit but it does fill up fast after 3 pm.

I stopped in for gas its a quick safe place to stop. If I need to go inside, its clean and they have everything and more..I could get lost looking around. I used to drive a big rig and can appreciate having a clean place outside of Memphis to shower, eat, fuel up and rest.

It’s ok for getting fuel. Usually a long line because it is small. Rarely can I get parking here. But I love the pilot/flyingJ truck stops. They have everything you would need while traveling.

The cashier Deondre I believe is his name was extremely rude to me during my stop here on March 5, 2018 at around 5:00 PM. I asked him for a can of tobacco and he gave me the wrong one. I let him know it was the wrong one and the guy behind me got mad and said something. I turned around to talk to him not saying anything at all that even concerned him. He came back to the counter with an attitude to me. I did nothing to him to constitute that. I told him he can keep his attitude and he put my tobacco back and refused me service. I spoke to the manager and told her I wasnt the one with the attitude. He started it all. Unless you fire this individual I will never be back to this location again. This complaint will be filed with the corporate office too.

Ive made the mistake of stopping here a couple of times because its convenient next to I-22. They are angry and get the order wrong. I have made a vow to never go back, seriously there is a Sonic half a mile up the road.

Great store, usually very clean. The only issue is that there is usually a bit of a wait. Not good if youre in a hurry. They make the best pizza!

A clean facility and familiar face are small pleasures when on the road.Also a good sign that management cares.Lots of parking at front, including expedite. Clean. Showers are best Ive come acrossat a Pilot/FlyingJ. Towels wete fluffy and smelled like they had actually been washed. Friendly staff. Safe to overnight.

I arrived around 9:30pm. Parking, of course, was all taken. But I had called to reserve a spot from the headquarters. But when I arrived even the reserves spots were all taken. So the employee told me to park in the RV parking lot which had all sorts of signs saying trucks would be towed at owners expense if they park there. But since I was told to park there I figured there’d be no problem. About 3:00am somebody was pounding on my truck telling me to move. I told him that I had paid for the parking and pointed to the sheet of paper in my window. This satisfied him and he went a way while I tried for an hour to get back to sleep. I figure place is either selling more reserved spots than they have, or they are just not enforcing the parking by removing those who park there without paying.

I love their selection of coffee creamers and snacks.

The gas is usually cheaper and they have great deals on their snacks.

They have taken the restuarant out:( nothing but subway now... but there is a barbecue place across the street. Didnt try it, because of the bad reviews,, the bar & grill beside it is GREAT..

Flying J was a great place to stop. Clean restrooms great variety of food to grab and go. Offers fruit as well.

When Im in this area driving truck, I prefer to stop here then the rest of the truck stops over the border in Memphis. This place is cleaner, better parking, and a good grass area from my dogs.

I really dont understand why the negative reviews. I spent a 34 here and didnt have any complaints. Trashy parking lot in the back, but thats because of scumbag drivers that dont take pride in their profession and themselves. Decent Mexican food and a mediocre barbecue place within walking distance. Great little friendly bar though.

You guys need to put a restaurant in this flying J people are really friendly 1st time I have stopped in this particular flying J but I do know that I use a lot youre flying js that has the Dennys restaurant and I believe you should think about putting one in This location several other drivers were asking about one also

1/15/18. To me it seems this J is short handed in the best case scenario or badly managed in a less case scenario. The fuel island for trucks looks like it was hit by a bomb, no effort to clear ice, frozen wash buckets, overflowing trash bins, derelict trucks obviously parked there/ abandoned for weeks at minimum. The building is significantly better, Ive eaten at the Subway there many times and received good service every time.... 2/1/18 The derelict trucks are gone and the trash bins at the fuel island serviced and ready for use, GoodOnYa J.
