These guys are thieves!!! Do NOT do business with them! They stole my friends Roadster, after left for repairs, over 15 months ago! REFUSES to return the vehicle to him!! Excuse after excuse! My friend has BEGGED them to return it and they wont!!! Lie after lie, refusing to answer calls or return them!!! This has taken years off my poor 80 year old friends life! Shame on this company and the brothers running this criminal activity!!! No way do they even deserve one star!! Crooks! DO NOT buy from them!

I can only repeat what many people have already said. I ordered a custom car 6 months ago, luckily charged the deposit to a credit card, and have not heard from them since. They dont answer the phones or return emails. Credit card is refunding my money. When I read about the quality issues other people have had, I guess I am lucky that I didnt get what I ordered! What puzzles me is that there is a dealer in Rivera Beach FL who is selling the carts - how is he dealing with the communication and quality issues?

Cant thank Joe enough for what he did for me. After 4 moths of waiting and then getting screwed out of $400 from another company that programed my ACG golf cart controller incorrectly. Joe came to the rescue. He offered to reprogram it at no charge. It was programed and on the way back to me in 3 days. Awesome customer service and highly recommend.

Ordered and received a custom new California Roadster golf cart and my wife and I are the hit of the community. Cant wait to show it off in the Christmas Parade. Outstanding car and the delivery went very smooth, the driver brought the car right up my driveway and we were ready to cruise.

I demand the refund of my money, lets treat like civilized people, I do not want to use aggressive terms, I am Mexican and I can act in a way that I dont want to.Ive been waiting for my car for 10 months and you dont answer emails Dan. I recommend that you refund my money before December 5 ... It is not convenient for you to fail me.I want to let the followers of this page and this company know something important.Finally I was able to contact Dan, he explained to me what had happened after all the pandemic problem and it is understandable, he finally responded in the correct way and refunded the deposit to me. Thanks for your attention and keep going, Im sure that all this situation will coming better next year.Once again, many thanks for your attention and receive my apologies for those heavy words.

Horrible customer service. Been waiting for my parts for 8 weeks now. Was send the wrong one initially and now the part is apparently with UPS for the past 3 weeks. However, nobody can provide a tracking number or show proof of shipment.No return calls either.

It is a shame that they sell such nice carts, but their customer service is horrible. It took me a month to get the right replacement parts ordered, they invoiced me and I paid over 6 weeks ago and no sign of the parts. I have called every week and it is always the parts guys fault, or they were missing something and every time they were shipping it today. I understand missing a part, but send the rest and call to tell the customer. Dan is the only one that knows anything and he has been no helpFIND PARTS ELSEWHERE!

Joe at ACG is a true professional that values 5 star service. My golf cart needed a tune up after 5 years of service and Joe went the extra mile and returned the cart in almost new like condition and on time at a fair price. I can’t recommend him enough. Thanks Joe!!!!

Paid for parts they promised would ship out the next day, never got anything. i have called 10x and emailed them with no response. i had to charge back my cc to get my money back. i highly doubt these guys will be in business long operating like this.

Update.I believe this company is closed.I finally received the golf cart in July 2020 which I ordered in Dec. 2019It was supposed to be manufactured in 5 weeks but it took more than half an year.The cart cam with NO screen, controller unit and charger.The company owner Dan insisted me to pay for the missing parts otherwise he wouldn’t send me so I left with no other choice but to pay for it.After 2 months of payment, I haven’t receive the parts. Dan and his office never answers calls.I am scammed but hope no one experiences what I had with this company.Never order anything from this company.Updated 30. 09. 2020——————————————————————-Even One star is way too much!!The company owner Dan never picks up my call and all his staff, just one driver who always says I’m just a driver here and I don’t know anything and other guy always says I don’t know what’s going on, Dan is not in the office and don’t know when he is coming back to the office.I paid full amount for more than 7 months ago for a custom golf cart.Never been delivered.Never never be scammed by this company.Worst experience ever!!

Daniel Hoogenraad has been scamming his own company for months. Signing bad checks to his employees, giving false information to the customers, if only they had to worry about the rats in the walls instead of the rats in the office. IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING ON ORDER YOU WILL NOT GET IT. THEY CANNOT AFFORD ANYTHING BUT WILL STRING YOU ALONG FOR MONTHS. DAN HOOGENRAAD WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN.

I dont enjoy leaving negative reviews and always prefer to hash things out, but this business leaves me no choice.I ordered a car from here on January 2nd and (almost six months later) still dont have it. The worst part of all is, like the other reviews claim, they dont value their customers and dont even bother opening a line of communication with them. There is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, especially once the balance is paid off.First, they got the color completely wrong in early April (on a supposed custom order). Then they told me it was shipped in early May. Then, many ignored e-mails and phone calls later, they claim the shipping company has had it for over a month and wont even give me their information.For your own good and peace of mind, stay away.____________UPDATE: 9.5 months later, I unfortunately can’t improve the rating. Not a single call or apology from them.The car was delivered WITHOUT SEAT BELTS and ALL OF THE BATTERIES ordered. An absolute joke.Any positive reviewers tend to have just one review, hmmm. I wonder why that is? I have made sure to erase any trace of ‘ACG’ from the car. Very sad to see, they were probably a decent business back when they started.

Had my Club Car serviced by ACG, needed a battery pack replacement, they came to my house, replaced the batteries and tested the car for me all in about 2 hours.

We have purchased several cars from this company, they are the worst company I have ever had to deal with, their customer service is non existent Jacob lies directly and the Owner Dan does the same they do not stand behind their warrenties, we purchased two roadsters both cars had the front steering Snap while being driven and the cars crashed into a building, the rear axles broke and the seats fell apart after less than six months we have not even owned these cars for a year.We are pursuing With legal action the cars are made in China and will fall apart!Dont deal with them!!

Based on my personal experience, I would not buy anything from this company. The new golf cart we purchased came with defective parts. A new part was sent via mail, but arrived after several phone calls. Now we are having issues again and each email ignored, each phone call not returned. My recommendation would be to stay away from this company.

I would think twice about buying an ACG golf cart! I have had so many issues with mine. It is only 4 years old and I have had to make so many repairs on it it would take too long to list them all, but the main thing is the brake. The parking brake has released on me so many times even after I complained and they “repaired it” it still does it. It released and ran into my garage door, someone else’s parked car and took off down a hill and somehow didn’t hit something or kill someone. Also the axle fell off where it connects to the wheel, luckily I was going only a few miles per hour or who knows what would have happened. They are just not very well made and I would look elsewhere in buying a cart.

Do not buy a Golf Car from this company. They do not care about their customers and even their dealers. We purchased a cart from this company and it arrived damaged. The damage is most likely the shipping companies problem, but it is certainly not ours. We paid for a BRAND NEW cart and received a damage one. After trying to solve this issue, ACG would not take any responsibility for our issues. They simply blamed the shipping company and said they were working on it. After now 9 months, we still have not received payment for the repairs we had to make to the cart. ACG, especially Ray Hoogenraad, will now not even return our calls. They are taking their money and running with it. I read read other reviews stating the same thing, that they are a shady company and are only concerned with making their quick buck with no accountability for customer service or even ensuring a customer get the product they paid for. They should (and will) be reported to any County, State or Federal bureau for their business practices. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. There are others that will deliver and better quality product and will take care their customers.

The WORST EXPERIENCE/PURCHASE you will ever make in your LIFE.We contacted ACG to purchase a vehicle for our retirement community due to the tax incentives and wonderful gas mileage that was purported on these golf carts. We ended up purchasing a cart from (Mark). The day the cart was delivered it BROKE DOWN less than 30 mins of delivery. The deliveryman barely rolled it off the trailer and it stopped running.I also noticed the vehicle was delivered in USED CONDITION. We had paid top dollar for a brand new cart and this one was scratched and not completely finished. I thought to myself this must be a huge mistake; I immediately called the company and spoke with Raineer (Ray, Owner) Hoogenraad. He LIED up and down about the condition of the vehicle upon delivery but promised to make it right.HE NEVER FIXED THE VEHICLE and LIED ABOUT THE ORIGINATION OF THE PARTS.THEY CLAIM TO BE “AMERICAN CUSTOM GOLF CARS” AND NOT ONE THING ABOUT THE COMPANY IS AMERICAN. THERE WAS NOT (1) ONE AMERICAN PART ON THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLES ARE MANUFACTURED, ASSEMBLED AND SHIPPED STRAIGHT FROM CHINA.THE BUSINESS IS RAN BY A FAMILY OF OVERSEAS FOREINERS THAT ARE COMPLETELY DISHONEST AND COULD CARE LESS ABOUT ANYONES SAFETY. (Mary is the owner’s wife, Mark is the owner’s brother and Ray is the owner). THEIR ONLY CONCERN IS $$$$$$ AND THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY.We are working on a class action suit against the company and urge any other former victims of this scam to contact us and jump aboard the claim. Mr. Hoogenraad and his family of scammers will be forced to stop their despicable business practices.Needless to say we would NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM ACG and WARN ANY POTENTIAL CLIENTS to STAY FAR AWAY from this SCAM!

We need an electric motor for a vehicle that a customer bought from them and after speaking only once with the owner Dan after many attempts with emails and phone calls, he asks us for money in advance (normal that is the case) but we have never heard from again nor answers to the emails sent or the messages, with which we have lost about 2 months to find out if we can have the engine or spare parts. I think the business is closed. It is a waste of time trying to contact them.
