From start to finish Mike the installer catered to what I wanted and took care of business, the new ownership gave me what I paid for. This review comes after 45 days after the install just to make sure all works and functions right.

I brought over my Lexus Sc430 to get the speaker replaced and the gentleman helping me offered quality parts and hooked me up with a Sirius/Xm module for free. Pretty nice guy super friendly.

I called on a Sunday afternoon, and was told I could bring my car in right away to have all of my speakers replaced. I received excellent service and, most importantly, I love being able to enjoy music in my car again! The staff here was very helpful and knowledgeable.

I took in my 05 BMW 330ci to get a new system, I was very happy with the outcome, the tech Mike did an amazing job! Martin the manager is cool gave me great pricing and took care of me. I appreciate you guys. Thank you!

Yelled at by cashier. Installed my breathalyzer waited till my service date then refuse to service my breathalyzer costing me over $70 and locking me out of my car for God knows what reason. Drilled a hole into my door handle without permission. You can find nicer people to spend money with.

I have a 65 El Camino that needed an alarm since they are was too easy to steal. It only took them 3 hours, and they had to change the locking mechanisms from conventional to electric. They were able to explain to me what I needed to know about how to wire the amp. I installed the amp they sold me and it works way better than my factory amp did. I am knocking 2 stars because the amp I bought was marked up to double of what I could have got for it online.

So a couple months ago I bought a bmw with the speakers blown out and damaged, therefore I needed them replaced but I was looking to install a whole new system. I had gone to this place because they looked reputable and legit. I had gotten a couple estimates else where but they really seemed to be knowledgeable and even saved me a couple hundred $’s compared to other estimates. Appreciate the business and hope to return soon w any other vehicles I’ll be purchasing.

Was having problems with my stereo thanks to Pep Boys over on Katella. Went to Z AutoSound Plus today and they fixed my stereo and back speakers which now sound amazing than they ever did. Where at Pep Boys I was told I needed a whole new system that would cost thousands of dollars. Which was a lie. Farris, the manager here, is an amazing person. I cant thank him enough and all the guys who worked on my car. All great and had wonderful customer service. Great guys. Thank you Farris and your crew. Will definitely be back. Been looking to buy a have a car stereo installed in my car for a while. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. My daughter just had a stereo installed and loves it. I will go back when it time for me to purchase and install. I will say that the quality of stereos mfrs sell these days arent what they used to be, the lower end models have all plastic faces and seem very flimsy. Spend a little more and get a heavier more durable unit......but use these guys!

Went to buy some new speakers. left with a set i felt that were good. a few days later i checked out what i got to on-line. found out that they sold me speakers at more the $25 each over the manufacture suggested retail price. a friend warned me about this place but i went anyways to help support small local business.

I was needing my stereo cables adjusted for my Serious Raido to work properly. They where able to fit me in their schedule. After taking a look the installer gave me some good options.The inventory is up to date with a new a Pioneer system not even in Crutchfield yet. Just came out. Horrible service... horrible selection of subs and speakers, and the install job is horrible... I went in to get mine fixed because they randomly went out and while I was there waiting for 30 min at least 4 different people came in because something that the shop had installed had broke or done something wrong in short this place sucks I do not recommend it if u are looking for subs best buy is better...

Serious liars. Over priced. If you decide to go there, make sure they tell you exactly what the price is for each component. They told me, but then I found out they were 35 to 50 percent greater than Best Buy. Bring a smart phone and compare prices as you browse. Do not let them tell you what to buy.

Horrible service, and they Lie! I left my car there all day because they say they give a life time warranty on installs and they didnt even look at it! They just said the speaker was bad without even testing it. I took it home to find out the real problem and found that they hadnt even installed the tweeters I gave them to install and I was able to fix the original problem by simply tightening a screw on the Amp. Something these professionals could have figured out in minutes. This family run biz is a great place to get ripped off at.

Lets face it, sometimes you get what you pay for. The man who installed my amplifier in my truck drilled a screw through my backseats and into the cab. They refused to fix it. A few week later my subs stopped working and when i went back to ask whats wrong they said the subs broke. I took it to Best Buy to see what was actually going on and they fixed it right up and told me why the installation from Z autosound was poor. Dont deal with these people.

Came for just sumthin simple and left with a system package which by the way was a good deal, highly recommend this place if you want to upgrade your sound for a good price.

I have never once had a problem with the equipment installed in 4 cars of my own & at least 15 people I have recommended to zautosound plus! The owner Mike and his team are legit and not out to screw you over or come up on there clients! They have been in business for years and still running strong. I needed a new stereo because a button broke. The speakers and amp all work fine. Salesman looked at my luxury vehicle and said my original subwoofer will never work again because it is a high-end sound system and will only work with an original factory installed Infinity system stereo from the dealershipThat was completely wrong information.Then the salesman said if I wanted my stereo to sound good again I had to buy one from his outdated limited stock of inferior stereos, an amplifier and one of the big black box subwoofers he had laying around and pay over $700.00.That was also completely wrong information.I went to BestBuy down the street and they correctly informed me that there is an adapter (~$45) that will allow almost any aftermarket stereo to work with all components of my system including the subwoofer which now still works perfectly fine.

Update- they still suck! This place is ok. I would really suggest you go to Speaker Works first. I wish I would have!

STOP. DONT SHOP HERE...I agree with Mr Ancona. Had the same situation. Stero head started to no work as well and had speakers installed to match the pioneer radio Speakers sounds started to crackel and fizzle out. When back to see if he can do anything. all he did was reset the radio head that didnt do anything and didnt nothing with the speakers. All he said send the radio to the manufacturer. HE IS A RIP OFF.. Purchase a new radio and speakers via Amazon.

Just dropped $1400 with a credit line and when I went to pick up my vehicle they held my vehicle hostage for $100. I will NEVER return here. The guy who worked here named Mike was extremely rude and disrespectful getting into my face and screaming. Only when I called the cops did this guy give me the keys to my car. When I told him Im leaving a bad review because of the way he treated me, he threatened to add more charges to my account (yet he couldnt add the 100 to my account?) and sue me. These people are unethical and I highly discourage anyone from getting anything done here. You will regret it. Update: they even forgot to put my antenna back on.In response to the owner:Youre statement is comical. How do you figure I couldnt afford it when I had a $2000 credit limit and its already paid off in full? You legally cant hold someones property for an unpaid bill, educate yourself. Youre clearly still upset that I told the truth in both my reviews and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. Learn how to act like men and be professional.

Installed the Alarm and Touch screen unit properly on second attempt, and suggested a full refund if they failed. OC Stereo and Tint just ripped me off for $50.00 bucks and no alarm was installled. I suggest Zautosound,

I was there to get an estimate for power locks and this place is way to overpriced. He tried to sell me things I didnt need. When I showed him the same package he was selling me for $400 from Viper on Amazon for 69 he got very mad and unprofessional. I waked out of there knowing I would not be coming back ever! I found another place that did the same job for $220

Hello, I just think that a review for this company is needed. I was a SO CAL resident until I went to ASU for school. I have taken three of my cars to Z Auto to have various work done on them- yet every time I get my car back something ends up being wrong.Car #1 1994 Toyota Land Cruiser (which the owner tried to buy off me)- I had two speakers, a head unit, two amps and a sub installed as well as an alarm system. This was the first time I had gone to Z Auto and everything seemed ok- until one of the component speakers would intermittently stop working. After they had my car for two days mind you, I took it back and found out the wiring was done all wrong for my new speakers. STRIKE 1. Took it back to get an alarm put in after the Toyota dealer wanted to charge me $300 for new key fobs. So I went and got a Falcon alarm system installed. To this day when I click the lock/unlock button the car will beep but nothing happens, so I have to use the key to manually unlock the doors... what is the point of the alarm system.. am I right?? Also when I lift the back hatch the head lights come on as well as the air conditioning blowers.Car #2 04 Mazda RX8- Once again I wanted a stereo and speakers installed, but I was feeling a little adventurous so I installed it myself, its A LOT of work. Never again. So I have a mazda rx8 without an alarm system. Shame on me for going back again... This time when they wired it, whenever I would unlock my car the viper alarm would unlock but the stock alarm would not, meaning as soon as I opened the door the stock alarm would go off. Strike 2Car #3 2011 Chevy Silverado- This time I did not want to install the speakers and amps as it is A LOT of work. I got 4 speakers, and an amp. I already had an amp that they installed for my subs. They hooked it up to the stock head unit as I liked that look in the truck. As I am driving from Cali to AZ ( was in Cali for vacation) I set my cruise control, everything seems to be great. All of a sudden when I hit my blinker toggle the cruise control would cut off. It kept happening time after time. The I hear the notification ding in the car out of my speaker ( which was wired wrong so I had to take it back a total of 3 times to figure that out) and look at my dash and it looked like a Christmas tree. My Stabilitrak, ABS, Air Bag lights all come on. Just what I want. STRIKE 3 NEVER AGAIN!Called the company, they said this should not happen with this wiring, which I agree. Nor should I have to take my car back 3 times to get it done right. Each Day I took it I was not put at the top of the list, so I had to leave my truck all day.I am writing this to help people decide where to go. I have taken 3 cars there, and all three have had something go wrong after Z Auto messes with it. So just be careful, this is my experience... yes the prices are good, but is it worth a little more to go across the street to A&E Auto?

My exsperiance with Kevin was great, very professional. I recently bought a used car with a sterio in it, and I told him that I havnt bought a car sterio system since the 80s! and I dont know what I have in the car could he come check it out. he told me not to replace the sterio because its last years modle (pioneer) and it is a nice unit! but, you do have a blown speake, witch I knew. His suggestion was to replace speakers, and an amplifire, Sub-woofer. I couldnt be happier! Amazing sound!! AND he hooked up my SIRIUS radio system for FREE!!!! I will say this, I have a Toyota Landcrusier and it has two little speakers in back and one of them did fall out, I brought it back and fixed it with no hassles, no problems! Would I recommend, Absolutely!

Not satisfied with my stock sound system, I brought my 2012 Honda Accord in for a quote and possible purchase. Not wanting or needing that much of an upgrade, I asked Kevin to help me get just a little more low end sound in my car. He set me up with a 10 Kicker subwoofer and a Performance Teknique 600MW amplifier. I didnt know much about the products so I trusted his judgment. An hour or so later my car was done. Drove away and had terrible bass feedback from the sub when accelerating or braking. Brought my car in a week later, they spent more than 2 hours on it. Installed another amp but still couldnt kill the buzzing noises. Asked me to make an appointment to return. A friend checked the setup for me and found exposed wire. There were also loose wires inside the subwoofer housing. He tightened it up and the problems disappeared. I returned today to have the store turn the bass adjustment knob back on. Told them what my friend found and how he fixed it. Installer said that couldnt be the cause of the noise. He reinstalled the old amp that was supposedly causing problems in the beginning in order to match the adjuster. I asked what good that would do if it was defective. He said subwoofer feedback noise is normal. I asked if the noise went away, he said yes. I drove away, noise returned. I know its not normal and I am not returning to the store to have them mess with my new car again. In addition to all this, they dislocated my trunk release lever and the inside of the car was left dirty after my first 2 visits. Poor install service. Do not recommend.
