Really great selection. First time in there today and I lived in CT my whole life. Hidden gem for sure. Owner is also very down to earth and nice. Great shop.

Chap who owns the place is friendly and helpful. Comic selection is surprising large considering the size of the shop, definitely worth a visit.

I have been going to clockwork for the last 20+ years. Dean has always been a big help when picking up a new hobby or refining a current one.

Is zero stars possible? Got there at opening, first one in the store and asked if they had the fortnite special -this was a Tuesday, when DC released it- and this guy goes DC cannot make us release books on Tuesdays we release books on Wednesday like everyone BOOM.Weird quote weird dude, so I laughed and said thats fine it was the second place I went to today, and they essentially said the same thing. So I asked did he expect theyd have a few on Wednesday when they do sell their stuff and this guy says, now Im paraphrasing cuz I was surprised and lost some of the details, he says I didnt expect the demand Ive gotten, I dont know if you heard me on the phone I already got three calls on it and we just opened but I should have plenty but a heads up its very likely to be higher than the sticker price.Higher sticker price on day one -actually day 2- of a book that isnt a special edition cover. Got it, no worries, will not come back. Boom.

Great comic book store. They also have a space for playing games and terrain for miniature games. They had some older throw back items I havent seen in forever. They carry comic book supplies also.

COVID-19 HOTSPOTWent here with one of my friends a couple of times and the employee is so weird and creepy. I am pretty sure its the owner. He did not have a mask on the ENTIRE time we were in there. There were at least 8 people in his very small store. When going to check out, he asks if we are stealing any comics and tells me to lift my hoodie. He was staring at us and following us around for about ten minutes before we left. Every time I would look up I would accidentally lock eyes with him. Did not even give a proper apology just said my bad after seeing I was not stealing anything. Definitely DO NOT recommend unless you are also a creep. Just for added measure, he has a gray ponytail that is hideous to look at. I have also been told after this that others have had weird experiences with this guy. I would recommend the store Alternate Universe in Milford. Not very far and has actual video cameras with a great selection of comics.

Absolutely love this places selction of comics. Took my young son here to purchase his first Spiderman comic, and will definitely be coming back at least once a month. Also, if youre looking for some starter tabletop RPG supplies, cards and more, check it out! Definitely worth a visit!

I came into clockwork today for the first time in nearly a decade. I work with people with autism, and came in with one of my clients. The gentleman who helped us(I believe the owner) was extremely knowledgeable, and not at all pushy when making a sale. He was also fantastic with with my client. After we left, my client couldnt stop talking about how kind the owner, as well as the other customers in the store were to him. I will definitely be back again.

Tremendous selection, all the newest comics and beautifully detailed sculptures. Always helpful and clean. Parking in front can be difficult but there is an additional lot in the back with a 2nd entrance

I went here with the specific hope of finding D&D minis, which there were none of (though there does seem to be some Warhammer stuff, so if youre into that, lucky you!), but thats my issue. Overall, the store was well kept. My boyfriend, however, whos much more into the scene then I am, claims that the prices are high, though I cant confirm this. The rave music playing was pretty fun, though.

I’ve been here twice now in the last week. It’s a local store that sells comics and games workshop miniatures. The owner is extremely nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend it

This place is awesome, they have an awesome collection of comics and their staff is super nice as well. And everything here is priced reasonably.

Considered this place my good old reliable comic book shop until the other day. Went in around store opening to pick up a new issue of a comic the day of its release and was told to come back the next day when any spare issues that were not reserved would be on the shelf, if any. Didnt know they did comic book reserves or that you had to pre-order to guarantee an issue day of release. It was a real disappointment seeing on a table several recently unpacked copies of a newly released issue I was ready to purchase and being told I had to come back because they may or may not have enough to spare for a walk in customer.

Been going there since high school. Best comic shop around for miles. Ivery met a lot of really cool people and made a lot of friends. Not only is the staff wonderful but the community that passes through is just as awesome. If your looking for a place for all your comic/table top needs this is the place for you.

Its got a great selection of comics. Its selection of games isnt as great, they really only have warhammer, 40k, and warmachines/hordes. The owner is great and very knowledgeable.

Clockwork Comics has pretty much EVERYTHING the comic book enthusiast and/or table-top gamer could want. If its not on the shelf, the conscientious and knowledgeable staff will know how and where to get it for you.

As this is not my Local CS i work near it so i stopped in. It doesnt look like they take great care of their comics as some are faded and others look to have been rolled up at one time. But i went to look through back issues to piece together a collection. I was able to find 3-4 issues i needed (i noticed back issues are somewhat overpriced) and when i brought them to the counter i asked if i could get them for $8 (total was about $9.25). Now most people know based on condition and such this is a common practise, but the owner says to me, we have a member program (or something of that nature) but yea i guess ill do it, i said thanks and he proceeded to say, yea well its dumb to try to haggle over a couple bucks. First off i didnt haggle i simply asked, secondly theres a reason i dont go here often and now i have another reason, POOR customer service!!!!!

This is a gaming center disguised as a Comic Shop...they have comics but they took second place to the gaming going on. Also, the employees were oblivious to the fact that I entered. I will probably only use if looking for back issues.

Charges way too much. Who ever I dealt with was short and kinda rude.
