This store is amazing. If youre a comic book lover youll be blown away. Impeccably clean store, tons of anything youd want, super organized!!

Stopped in just to check them out one time and I can honestly say that their selection is borderline overwhelming! If I were a real comic book fan I would probably go crazy.I would definitely give them a visit...and they have some nice collectibles and a very friendly atmosphere.

When we moved to orange my little brother was worried there wouldnt be a comic book store like the one we had back home. When we found out Torpedo was nearby he was really excited. I took him a few days ago and I dont think either of us expected them to have as many comics and collectibles as they did. My brother was able to find everything he wanted and more. Thank you to the staff for being so friendly to him! Well be back soon.

So many comics, action figures & head busts. Everything is set up nicely for viewing. Dwayne is very friendly and goes above & beyond. He carried the large box of my husbands purchase all the way to our car by Avilas restaurant. Now thats customer service!

The best comic store! Top quality in all comics. Everything is organized well and staff are very kind and knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable for a great comic. The ceiling is its own art its like being in a Starwars movie you need to check it out. Pet freindly also!

Place look pretty cool pretty awesome they do run out of stuff a lot nightmare for casual comic book fan staff are not helpful at all theyre not knowledgeable about their books and seem pretty irritable lol If you Dont know exactly how to find what youre looking for You may want to go to a place thats more helpful. Actually Big Reds that was there before was a lot better place staff are very helpful and friendly

Torpedo Comics is an awesome venue. Great books at great prices. Doesnt have the Vault of Gotham but its a well organized and well stocked store with great staff.They do a lot of signings and you get to meet up and coming to legendary creators and artist. Lines can be long and move slowly but the experience is awesome. You can pay for annual front of the line VIP passes if you dont want to wait.

Omg so i went to a signing today and you would think all the staff would be nice because obviously everyone who bought a ticket would be over excited about seeing “jason david frank” but that was not the case! The staff was soo rude and unpollite the whole time even to the kids buch of cnts! There was an autistic man there and one of the staff was so rude and mean to him for being overly excited his name was cesar rude af! but jason was the sweetest!!

When I first moved down here this location was called Big Red Comics and it was awesome to go to then and nothing has changed! Staff is still great and the selection is amazing. If you are ever in the area, stop by this comic book shop. You will regret it if you dont!

I asked two employees where books were and they just used their finger which didn’t really help.I had one of their daily customers be so kind to show me where they were..Anyways I’ve been here a few times and I don’t think I’ll ever support this shop.

I was browsing at the store Saw a customer with good selection of comics, dude brushes em off saying they no good but wanted to buy G.I. joe #21 and few others that cost a pretty penny for like 5 bucks . thats funny thought they would be more professional since there cgc approved by whom ever. SMH

Whats the point of having phone number if you guys wont even answer it, what makes it worse is that you guys blocked my number when I havent been able to reach you at all!!Didnt even have to go this comic shop to know how bad their customer service is.

Do not ever, & I mean ever buy their mystery boxes!!! You seriously get $1 bin comics in them. This is just their way to unload all of the comics they cannot sell elsewhere. Every other store guarantees at least the value of what you paid. Not them! save your money! TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED!!!

Its a beautiful and well oganized shop. Great selection of back issues and usually enough copies of current issues that they wont run out and a good pull discount. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and always willing to help.

Torpedo Comics is my go to comic book store in Orange. They offer any comic you could need in addition to rare alternate covers and collectors items. Get on their pull box service if you frequently buy comics, its great for getting exactly what you want at a slight discount. Definitely check this place out if you are a comic fan.

Great shop. Extremely clean and all the comics are bagged with boards. Good selection and had some back issues I have been looking for. All around solid shop!

An interesting place.... if you find it...I used Google Maps to guide me and it took me to a small door on a residential street...At first I thought the address was wrong.We entered the door... it was s backdoor to an Ice cream place.I asked them if they knew any Comic Book Store in that address. They told me to leave the shop using the front door and it was going to be the next door shop. At least I found it!Anyway, even though it was a small shop, there were some interesting stuff there.On the back, some old pinball and arcade machines from the 80’s.Some unique artistic Batman related action figures that you have to see by yourself... I’ll try to upload a picture latter...The prices are good and you will find some real good deals here.

This is a great store for serious collectors. They have a large selection of graded books and a well organized shelving arrangement that makes it easy to search.

A fantastic little gem of a store. They did everything they could to make my kid feel special and wanted, and even threw in a super cool Avengers poster along with our purchase. They went above and beyond to make our experience memorable and wonderful.

Great place to shop for comics, BIG selection. Grate and friendly staff (had a question about a comic I was looking for and they helped me vary quickly. Love coming for the pinball machines. For sure coming back again for some more comics

The store or very clean has many awesome comics.however the price tags are very high but other than that it was really nice.

Located in old town orange, i enjoyed my first visit. There is additional parking in the lot behind the building. Merchandise is well organized. I found was i was looking for quickly and walked out with more. Lots of great eateries nearby to peruse your newfound treasures at. Happy hunting!

The best comic store in the OC. Red is extremely knowledgeable about all things DC or Marvel and can help you find older books if thats your interest. There is also the added bonus that all books come with a board and mylar sheath this helps keep the investment protected.I would hit this place over any place else in the area first and give him the chance to find anything that I needed before I went elsewhere

Great store run by even better people. This father and son team are great they have a great wealth of knowledge to help any neophyte or expert comic reader find d exactly what they need. The prices are great on their hard to find d comics and they have a bargin bin. So stop on in and see what they have you might find something you didnt even know you were looking for.

Seriously such a cool place, they had more then I expected and I love how they put the variants next to the trade dress so you can see the multiple covers next to each other!!!

I havent seen a cool comic book shop like this since I was a kid. The staff is knowledgeable and funny and theyve got a ton of great stuff.

Always helpful and has a good assortment of collectables

While I am not really a comic book guy like my son, I love the fact that they have a couple pinball machines. Also the dollar sodas are perfect for washing down the sugary mess you bought at A La Minute.

The staff is really friendly and helpful, its great if you want to set up orders here. They have something for everyone, so its a good place to go if you just got interested in comics.

The folks that run this place are good people. We started coming here when living in Orange, but even after moving to Newport we keep coming back to Reds.
