Absolutely amazing experience here on my first visit. Brought my daughter in for the Birthday Bear special and I can’t thank Julie enough for making our first visit so amazing! She was truly outstanding in walking us through everything and keeping us entertained throughout the visit. Very memorable experience!

It was alright. Went in 30 minutes before closing. Small children running around, im trying to social distance so that made me nervous. I think it would have been a better experience except for that. Hopefully we can go back soon!

1st time visit to this store. The staff were nice. The store was not crowded when we visited. Now I know why kids and teenagers would like to visit this place. It is a great place to make a new furry friend our kid will love for a long time!

Even with strict Covid restrictions, the staff go out of their way to create a magical experience for each guest. The prices are a little high, but they do have some decent deals. Of all of the BAB locations I have visited, I feel like this one is the best! Ill definitely be back here.

We went in and they happened to be short one person. The 2 remaining staff were going as fast as they could to try and keep up. They did a great job with one of the staff basically running around helping people check out, answering questions and everything else.

Super friendly staff and they really like to evolve kids in the whole process. Just a wonderful experience.

We went for the birthday bear for my daughters second birthday. So we paid $2 for her bear. Overall a fun experience for her. Clean store we do miss the shower area for the bears though

So with social distance safeties in place, the magic of the experience kinda gets lost. Our builder did try but it was hard to hear her. It is nice that they are trying to keep their people safe. The whole place does need to have the ceiling insulated to help reduce echos. Maybe that will help improve the poor sound quality.

The people that work here are kind. They care and they are quick. I highly recommend this store.

The staff is super friendly as usual. Its not them.The reason for my low rating is the inefficient method they use for allowing people in the store and making people wait more than 2 hours before they come in. This completely negates the brief positive shopping experience inside.When you get there, you check in with the person at the door. They take your name and thats all.They tell you it will be up to two and a half hours because they can only limit occupancy to 11.Then youre expected to sit outside the door of the store for that entire time with no real available seating. If you happen to miss your name being called then you lose your turn altogether.When its someones time they will call out their name a three times and say last call.If that person doesnt respond immediately their name gets scratched off the list.What if that person had to use a restroom after sitting outside for an hour and a half or decided to go get a drink.After sitting there for a while we asked the attendant how much time we had left because we wanted to get food or drinks and she said no problem you have plenty of time.While we were getting food one of the people from our group who stayed behind texted that theyre letting our group in now. Fortunately we were able to get back quick enough to keep our spot but we would have been furious if we would have lost that time and then had to start all over.There are better ways for doing check in and early notification of your turn to allow you to go ahead and walk the rest of the mall and do other shopping as opposed to making people sit outside for two plus hours.We will never go to BAB again until this is fixed.

The employees are super nice and the customer service was amazing! The bears are really soft and cuddly. The clothes are a bit pricy, like the dresses, but Ill definitely be back.

We didnt even get to come. My daughter is 4 and severly special needs so since she cant wear a mask due to her sensory issues and an inability to comprehend whats going on (mentally shes about a year and a half old) she doesnt get to have a bear like her brothers.I hope they require infants to wear a mask as well, since she has the same capability of understanding of the situation and was turned away.

This place was busy. It took so long to get our bear. I am not sure it was even worth it. But my grandson liked it

In addition to the clothes, I also wanted to get my new niece a custom build a bear that will be waiting for her when she gets a few months older. I ended up making this bear that was sooo cute I almost ended up keeping it for myself! This was actually my first time at build a bear as I just thought of this idea, and Rebecca was the worker who helped me out and she was such a kind soul and so helpful! She asked me all about my sisters new baby and helped make some suggestions. Great people, great product, great store!

Excellent, excellent and helpful staff

Without covid last they would have more stars. When the opened up they created a very unsafe cluster of people (some without masks on yet) to get into the store. The staff seemed lost. Definitely no trip here with family until this is over or they figure it out.

The girls closing on Thursday March 21 were amazing. Jennifer and Julie (?) I believe. We entered the store when they were about to close but they did not rush us in any way whatsoever. They were upbeat, nice, and fun! It was our first time for 2 of us in a group and they made the experience very enjoyable. Definitely recommend this location.

Our youth will have teddy bears with a real life essence to them, with build a bear. My kids were beyond happy. The little things like getting a birth certificate for their bears was super cool and the heart inside felt over the top. Very cool worth the price

I came here to get a gift for my best friends daughter after her step brother died. I didnt know exactly what I wanted to get her but I knew it had to be really special. The Build a Bear team was so sensitive and nice and helped me pick out a perfect gift. They even had one of the guy employees say a special little message in it as her brother, saying how much he loved her etc. My friend told me she sleeps with the bear every night and talks to it when she misses her brother. Im so grateful this place was here, its truly so much more than a teddy bear.

The employees there were absolutely great! Very friendly and all smiles. They even gave us directions to Taco Bell that was nearby. And to really top it off they kept my daughters Iphone in safe keeping after she left there!! Great job all the way around! Made our experience excellent. Thank you BUILD -A- BEAR WORK SHOP!

Awesome fun place and staff

We were customers of the old build a Bear in Anaheim . Unfortunately they are closed . We decided to give this location a try . The bear that we ordered online did not have a sound in it and we wanted to place a sentimental sound bit into our bear . We were helped by Paul who was just a sweetheart . He really enjoys working here and cares about his customers. He was attentive and very helpful in making sure we got what we needed . He did not push any items /accessories on us and helped us get in and out with exactly what we wanted.The store was also well stocked and organized.Our experience at this store was beyond what we expected thanks to Pauly and his excellent customer service .

I did not visit this store, but I just called them to see if they had any Disneyland exclusive merch and they dont. Even though they dont, I was delighted by the person who answered the phone - I believe it was Jennifer. She was very pleasant to talk to, gave me other options, and was helpful! I work at a Build A Bear in my area and have for the past 6 years so I am always delighted when someone answers the phone (at any store) with that much enthusiasm. Im sure that if I went to visit this store as a guest, she would display the same amount of enthusiasm in person! Kudos to Jennifer and this whole store for having employees who display excellent customer service!!

This place is so charming, and is a place you feel right at home on the floor checking out all the cool toys for sale! I love their selection as do the little-ones.

First time here to this location. With all the malls closed this was the only location open near by. Put my name on the waiting list the girl gave us an estimated wait time of 30-45 minutes after an hour I went to check and she gave us another estimate of another 30-45 minutes. 😒

Id like Build-A-Bear workshop this is one place I would definitely come back to when I have more money those clothing will work perfectly for my American girl dolls also its perfect because I did find a cute little bandana for my service animal. And I only paid a dollar many of the items in the store is on sale I suggest you go and get it they even had two for $25 Build-A-Bear or whatever item you wanted for the closeout yes go there great place to get a Christmas gift never too early to shop for Christmas

I was at this Build-a-Bear on Saturday 5/4 and LET ME TELL YOU.It was amazing.Jennifer helped me stuff my dragon friend and honestly made my whole day! She didnt take any of the fun away from the experience and treated me with the same excitement and enthusiasm as she would a kid in there. She was so sweet along with the other two girls there, I forgot their names the cashier had sandy blonde hair and the other girl had a ponytail and lashes for days! Ugh whatever, I just wanted to make sure you guys got a good review cos this was literally the best experience Ive had in any retail place. Thank you Jennifer for helping me bring my little Kuri to life!!

Took a 7-year-old here for her birthday and she had a great time selecting a bear and picking out outfits. The organization of the store could be a touch better, with signage to indicate the different areas, but the employees were incredibly nice and gave us good direction as to where the various stations were and the order in which we should visit them.

Our girls loved having a personalised bear each, well bunny as it turns out. Although pricey, the kids do get to personalize every part from smell, sound, clothing, accessories. Our host was great and took the girls through her wonderful personalised bring the bear to life sequence

Princess Bunny Foo Foo has done nothing but bring me joy ❤ Ive been begging Grant forever to take me to make a bunny. It was a little understaffed, but worth every second.

I took my niece to get her Bear for her birthday the girl told me they were out of the ones that you pay the age price but theyre available at the Brea Mall which it was very inconvenient for us. She picked one she liked and then we discovered on our own that the printer for the certificate wasnt working.

Perfect shop for the family!!!!

This was the most unenjoyable shopping experience. I had to wait 2 hours to get in AND I had to wait in front of the store. There is not a texting system or anything. Never again! What could have been a $200 shopping spree was down to $30 because Im tired, cranky, my feet hurt from a 2 hour stand. Plus my daughters tourettes friend was not allowed in because she cannot wear a cloth mask only the clear ones.

Very entertaining to choose from El Oso to the clothes and sound that you want but it was very expensive, they should have more affordable prices personally I paid little more than $ 100 DLS for 2 bears 🙄They should have a station where the children can sit and they can dress their bears
