Place is lack luster with overpriced equipment. The staff is all over the place and at times dont seem to know whats going on around them. If youre a first time buyer Id recommend a mom a pop shop, or Sam Ash for better pricing and help. I only come to this place to try out guitars or buy guitar picks, nothing else.

Amazing selection, good prices, but the service is a tad too slow. It could have been just a random day with customer issues though. Other than that, we had a great time with the kids trying out all the instruments.

Sold drums to them. The guy was nice but not fair. They dont give you a very good price. I was too lazy to reload onto my car. Also, they take copy of drivers license, thumbprint and it was too much work in the end. What if they lose my private info or it gets stolen? Better to sell it privately on Offer Up app.

Great service & some good prices on some items. I come here on most of my Dj Neeeds. My last purchase was 2 days ago, got some New QSC 12.2 speakers 👌

Went with my brother who is an accomplished and versatile musician. He messed with their electric drums a bit. He complained about how bad the pedals and connections were, but I enjoyed listening.

Bought my friend her first guitar here and got some excellent customer service! The girl who helped us was super friendly and had us laughing at some jokes we all made but was still able to give us advice on what to get for the guitar. Definitely recommend coming by and looking around the store, hopefully she will be there to help out, unfortunately dont remember her name.

I finally bought my self a keyboard to start to learn again the piano.Also helpful staff, they are very bright and also very informative on the products they are selling.They also had a good deal on memorial day. So if by some chance you want to buy a certain product, wait for a bit so you can get a great deal.

I had gone about almost a year ago now… I went in to purchase a guitar with a few friends. Staff was kind and very patient with you, they answered any questions we had and made us feel welcomed and comfortable with the items we were interested in.

If you want to wake up call and a great DJ early morning this is the spot great service drinks and a lot of fun people

I hate to leave a bad review but I returned 2 $800 fender guitars because both buzz insanely and cannot hold tune. They ask for $50 to fix all the problems which makes no sense. Dude I am buying that from you! Nobody would buy a car with no doors. Why would I pay extra for a broken guitar that could possibly cause even more problems in the future? I am not paying that much money for a guitar that I do not trust.. Now getting ready to return the used Canadian guitar that they gave me for the money I paid which also buzzes like crazy and has other problems. I asked J*** about buzzing and he said it is normal. I brought it home and “BUZZZZZZZ” ugh. I cannot believe I cannot find a single normal guitar at Guitar Center. I think I am gonna return this tomorrow and look elsewhere :/

I truly wish the Guitar Center near my house was more like this one at The Block in Orange. It was nice and orderly, clean and equipment was actually set up to play and working!!! Omg, take notes Fountain Valley and El Toro (Lake Forest)!!! The stores I mentioned and have spent 10s of thousands at are dingy, dark, disorganized and have almost zero displayed items and the ones that are displayed dont work. Sorry, but I didnt know there was a store in OC that had pride and quality on the menu.

Love the store. However, one worker was inconsiderate. I asked a question and he said, wait right here and Ill go and find out. 15 minutes or more later he came back and walked right by me without saying a word. I asked him again and he pointed to another rep and said, he is the one that will have the answer.

Came here the day before Christmas trying to get that perfect gift for the man in my life and they were so helpful and found the perfect guitar. He loves it! Super happy and they were totally cool with my budget... Didnt make me feel like i should spend more. The guy working with me actually made me feel very comfortable even though i was definitely on the lower end of the prices. He was just very cool and easy and found me the perfect gift in my price range and i definitely recommend coming here!

So much to choose from and just a great atmosphere. I bought a nice red bass guitar and amp here.

Guitar Center in Orange, CA is a great place to play guitars. Excellent customer service and helpful employees. Ryan was awesome and went above and beyond in helping me get my guitar. I have spoken to Paul, Jack and Sergio. They are all very knowledgeable and caring. Thank you Ryan and guys for making an older gal feel special.

Took my axe in for a setup and they made the playability of my Epiphone SG feel and sound wonderful! I know Guitar Center gets a lot of criticism for their setups and its either hit or miss, but I definitely recommend this particular GC if you want a trusty setup! Alex, the technician was super helpful throughout. Would definitely do business with them in the near future!

What happened to the drum sticks section ghost town

Some of the people or employees that work there doesnt know what is a hygrometer for guitar cases. I asked one person and said i bet you can look that up where honestly they have hygrometers in every music store that you can find and i found its interesting that since its covid, they require you wearing a mask to get inside and the people work there dont even wear it.. poor product knowledge for guys who work there and doesnt about safety protocols.

They have many things in stock and a vast selection of products. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They offer both new and used products and I have been able to find what Im looking for in regards to guitars, pedals, and audio products.

Place was very clean and the staff were very knowledgeable and professional.

Went in wanting to buy a guitar. They 100% had the opportunity to sell me one but the salesperson was so unhelpful I just left. As a beginner who didnt know what they were looking for, which is exactly what I told them, didnt know what I wanted but needed some guidance. I asked for help and the guy just kept saying well I dont know what you want.... Well duh! Neither do I Ive never played guitar before thats why I came to the experts! Went to a local shop in tustin instead on my way home and with 10 minutes I had purchased a guitar because they took the time to actually help me.

Curbside pickup is a joke.. literally the worst customer service Ive ever received. I placed an order that was supposed to be in stock at this location. Im basing this on what the website stated. No one answers the phone. No one has contacted me. My order was placed over a week ago and due to arrive today. Apparently no one was at the store to receive the shipment. If you are offering contact less pickup, is it supposed to mean no customer service at all? At least do it the correct way. I understand that the pandemic has everyone going crazy. Come on Guitar Center..... youre better than this.

Currently they seem to have a larger selection of inventory than even the flagship store in Hollywood!

Called To see if they were 100% open multiple times and all range all the way through. The website says they are open but I cant be too sure if they are opened or closed because of these times were are having And also no one answered the phone. One time the phone was picked up and nothing was said..

They are literally letting in only 1-3 people at a time because they only have 1-3 salespeople on staff. Yes, theyre doing 1 customer per employee and if one is out sick and another one is at lunch...they will only allow ONE customer in the store at a time. The wait outside is 2 hours sometimes because Guitar Center cares. I get there trying to do social distancing but give me a break. This is totally ridiculous. Their solution on how to improve the bottleneck? Come back tomorrow and maybe youll get in. Lmao what a joke. If you have 2-3 hours to kill to buy some guitar strings, then this is the store for you.

Well. They have everything. But I just spent fifteen minutes as a recipient of a fascinating lecture on the pros & cons of various guitar strings. Wow! Ive been playing for >30 years and didnt know this stuff. Staff is universally knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Prices competitive.Whats not to like?

Love this place. You can test out your instrument before you buy. To me this store feels.like a playground, and everyone is helpful with my questions. Last time I bought a beautiful apple red Fender acoustic guitar .

They had more employees there than customers but I had to wait outside the store for 45 minutes to purchase a cable. I didnt need assistance, I just needed a cable. The line to get into the store, in my opinion, was totally unnecessary. It just makes them look more important than they really are.

I had a wonderful experience here with my fiancé. Store crew member, Has(z), was very helpful, patient, and really educated us on acoustic guitars. I would recommend this store anytime due to customer service. Best customer service thus far!
