Nice, clean also friendly staff. Was a quick trip but all 3 employees who walked near me asked if I needed any help finding anything.

Always love Michaels. This branch is amazing. Id not used the store before...walked in and stood looking around...the layout was different. Within seconds an employee was right there to assist me. She saved me a lot of time. I needed one specialty item...was in and out in 5.So appreciated.

Had everything I was expecting to find for my upcoming project--as well as cake decorating things that I needed but didnt expect to find! The store was bright and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Great craft and hobby store!

I love doing crafts, so being in a store like this is like being in a candy store. They have so many craft choices and stuff for both kids and adults. The atmosphere is welcoming and the associates are there to help and welcome any questions they have. So if you are looking for a craft store to go in Orem, I would recomend this store, especially the paints, I have painted an amazing painting with the paint brushes and paints they are able to supply as with the brush markers

Every employee I spoken to or asked questions of has gone above and beyond in different ways.I had a question right as I entered and couldnt spot a roaming employee, so I asked with hope shining from my eyes, the closest cashier (luckily little to no line) where I could find something.They werent sure, and I was already voicing my usual, Thats okay, thank you anyway, when they pulled out their...com..?..uh radio? and immediately contacted an employee and passed along the location.Another time, is was literally 2 minutes from closing, and I was picking out a new type of craft to learn, gathered materials, but was unsure about one of the items. Right at the back was an employee behind the fabric cutting table, and I hazarded a questioned, and not only did they Really Know What they were talking about but, they offered all kinds of advice for beginner me, and shared some of their craft projects theyd done with the same materials.And all of this was offered freely, enthusiastically despite talking until after close! I apologized but they didnt mind one jot.This Michaels location feels like my craft home 🏡😉

Fun store to shop it. Had a great employee help me out with the coupon system. Hes the only one that has ever asked, talked it about, and helped me fully utilize it. Wish he was there everytime I visit.

Great staff, they were so helpful.I cant wait for their new store! And they had a great selection of items even though they are reducing their stock for the move...oh and great sales in anticipation of that move too.

I love walking through Michael’s and looking at all the craft items. They don’t have as big of a selection of items as some other craft stores, which is why I gave it only 4 stars. It’s still a good store though. They usually have what I need.

Cant tell you how much I love Michaels! Always having sales and you can find coupons on their website. Went to get a skein of yarn, walked out with 8 or 9 skeins, a craft for my kid and Halloween decorations.

Big sale right now. They are moving across the street and West next to Joanns.

I like Michaels because it tends to be easier to get to and to leave the shopping center too. Michaels has a pretty good selection, but the last time I went I was looking for natural stone beads, like tigers eye and iolite. I could only find amethyst and quartz. The other stone beads ended up being dyed, so I didnt want that either. So theyre good to get very popular items, but not as good to get more high end or unique items. Dont get me wrong, I do like them, but some things I guess you can only get online.

Busy today, for an early Friday. Several employees passed me even as I tried to get their attendion and ask for the location of something and it tripled the time I spent in the store. Its always fun to look for ideas though. The glass and custom framing was very quick with their assistance. This store isnt as big as American Fork but it is just as clean and organized. It doesnt have the overpowering smells that you get in the American Fork location

This is a store where you walk carefully up and down every aisle in the store before finally giving up and asking an employee where the velcro is and they say aisle 26.

I would like to make a complaint. I dont like doing this because its one of my favorite stores to go to. About the stores Michaels sidewalk . The sidewalk on the left side of Michaels is weathered away to the point It has corroded and now has a around side curb. Its definitely a safety issue. Just today July 7th 2018 I was with my sister and I had stepped up onto the curb I had slipped and fell with my 10 week infant strapped on my front in a baby carrier. Luckily for me my reaction was to land on my hands and knees to preventing me from falling on top of my infant. I would really appreciate it if the sidewalk was fixed immediately for the well being of others and their safety.

Michaels is honestly the best and first place I go for anything craft related (and more)! They have the friendliest staff and the latest trends (especially when it comes to jewelry) and they always have a great deal/sale going on! Ive recommended them to many people and always will!!!💕

Overall good location, never truly had issues.They could improve their pickup process however. I sat in my car for 20 minutes before deciding to go inside to pick it up, which defeats the point.

If I love crafts u will not be disappointed

Perfect place for DIYs any holiday or wedding or home decor. So many ideas and examples. Kind of narrow rows and packed i to a small location but still enough to be there for hours haha. Also stuff always on sale which is awesome!

I went for the post-holiday sale. The discounts were good. But I didnt find anything I really wanted 😕

They have a pretty good selection. But I often have a hard time finding stuff in the store and sometimes an even harder time finding someone to ask about where to find it. The prices are only pretty good if they are on sale.

The sales people are very helpful in helping me find items that I need. They even gave me a discount on a sale item which had expired.

I went there today at Michael’s and there was a strange man and he was white wearing a black hat a black mask and a black jacket and he was stealing because I saw him and I told the cashier that he was stealing and she said oh no and then walks he walked away through those doors and then she told him have a good day if it was a Hispanic or a black person with color they would’ve been calling the cops so never going back there and everybody that reads this I I don’t recommend

Disappointing. Chose some stuff from an area marked discounted. No discount was applied at the register. The attendant clearly heard us voice our concern and stared blankly into space waiting for us to pay anyway. I cant help but wonder if the prices are not marked down correctly on purpose. We brought it up a couple times and still werent taken care of. Wonder how many people overpay and dont even notice...

I honestly love this Michaels. I got there often, and I usually call beforehand to check if they have certain things. They always do a great job of finding out. The staff is super friendly. My only wish is that they had a couple people out on the floor, bc I always need help finding stuff and sometimes it hard to find someone!

The cashier bagged my one item without even asking me. I know its not a big deal but I thought everybody should know incase you dont like pointless waste so you can make sure you can tell them while you are putting in your number and are distracted.

I have totally loved this store in every state Ive lived in. The lay out isnt claustrophobic like some other stores. Great people and wonderful atmosphere. Why not 5 stars...no doll making supplies or mini things to assemble with. One big reason I used to shop there. I know online, but Im old school crafter and like to touch and feel and see to choose next creation. Not so easy on line but thats okay. Still love the store.

Not the best selections: Hobby Lobby is better stocked, and always has register traffic flowing, but Michaels is like an old friend. I know where everything is and can get right to it. Thats great for when I know exactly what I want. Hobby Lobby is more like Disneyland: prepare to spend the day.

We went in today because they were doing a sale on Cricuts. As we were looking for someone to help us get one an employee whom seemed busy stopped what she was doing to help us out. After looking in the back for a short time she came back to tell us they didn’t have the color we wanted in stock. She looked up other locations and saw they might have one. After providing phone numbers to the other stores we learned all of them were sold as well. We did purchase from this location and appreciated all the help we received.

This is a craft supply store that usually has anything you could need for crafting and home decor. I could spend hours in there, just browsing. Great place. Unfortunately I was looking for a very specific type of picture frame which they didnt have. It doesnt seem to be in fashion right now. But an exceptional array of supies for the crafter. I recommend this store.

It seems like the store always under construction and having hard time finding a particular yarn, but this store didnt have it.

This was my first time in this particular Michaels and the set up seemed a little odd to me. The aisles were so narrow and ordered strangely. It took me a while to find what I was looking for and I was not the only one. I heard at least 2 people asking the cashier for help finding something. That being said, I got an amazing price on some quality paper. If they continue to have great sales, I will continue coming.

They have what youd expect any hobby store to have. The staff seem to be overall friendly and they will beat any competitors price by 10%. Its a solid choice if you need to have something physically for a project right at this exact moment in time.As with any retail store they will be a bit more expensive if you cant price match, but you pay for the convenience of having it in your hands then and there.

Michaels always sells quality craft supplies. Today, I found some wonderful sales throughout the store. This was my 1st time at this location. The people were VERY friendly and helpful. There was a huge variety of supplies. The store was clean and organized. I will definitely be back.

An extensive craft store. Great place to go if youre looking for specific items for a craft. The only reason it didnt get 5 stars was because it was a little hard to find what I was looking for! I couldnt find any signs labeling what aisle had what and I also couldnt find any employees to point me in the right direction. Other than that its a good place!

Good craft store with a wide selection. My only complaint was it was a little harder to find exactly what I went in for, just because the set up seemed a little strange to me at first. Signs on the aisles would have been helpful since I was in a rush and its a big store, but I was able to find what I needed without too much trouble. Will definitely go back since they seemed to have a wider selection than what Im used to at my local craft store.

Michaels has all the crafts supplies that you need for most projects. I was able to find what I was looking for very fast due to the helpful staff! I ended up getting the wrong acrylic paint color due to being a Male, and a husband who does not look very hard, but my wife and I managed to finish our project due to our awesome neighbor! It pays to be nice to your neighbors 😁😉

I like to come here for flowers and for craft items. I think they have a good variety and good quality. It can be expensive so grab their newspaper on the way in for coupons.

Good availability of crafting and home goods. Their line for checkout is crowded and not organized well, though. If someone at the next register has a cart, you cant get past them until they move.

A friend gifted us an amazing painting that we thought was very worthy of being custom framed. My husband and I went in during their 70% off sale and the line to get a framing estimate was rather long. However, the personnel allowed us to go behind them and get our frame picked out. Once they were able to help they were really nice, they apologized for the wait and helped us out in a very professional manner.

I give this place three stars because they were open late when no one else was. This isnt the biggest store of this kind. But like I said they were open late. The prices here are decent and I deducted a star because when I ask for help finding a certain glue the worker just told me to look on a certain aisle. I didnt really feel comfortable asking her anything else because she seems so busy.

Great craft and supply store. I do feel that the line for checkout could be improved. If there is such a large line and several cash registers but only one register open, I find it unsuccessful. Low staffed in a way since it was hard to find anyone other than the cashier for questions. Wonderful customer interaction however and kind regarding the circumstances.

I have gone to Michaels probably 26 times the past 15 years. Im the kinda guy that does research before shopping. Michaels usually has the lower price and still good enough quality. Selection is pretty good as well. I dont always do crafty things, but when I do I go to Michaels first, then hobby lobby etc.

Good place for craft supplies. Staff are curtious and knowledgeable of product locations. I also havent seen anything about the owners contributing to the discrimination of peoples, unlike Hobby Lobby.
