The people at Society took the time to make sure I got the right bikes. I have purchased two bikes from them and have absolutely loved both of them. The buying experience has been great and the tune-ups and service I have received have been excellent.

The place is awesome! They give a free lifetime of tune-ups with every new bike purchased, they are always very helpful, and an overall amazing company.

SBR is the best cycling store in Utah County! I would definitely recommend buying a bike from them because they offer free lifetime service tune ups if you buy from them! They are very involved in the cycling community here as well so I always see friends and make new friends when I come here! Plus how cute is Ziggy the shop dog?!

I took my bike in last Friday and asked if theres any way they could replace both tubes while I waited. They jumped right on it and had me out the door in 15 minutes. These guys are always so kind and helpful. Theres no judgment and no talking down to you, like you get at MD Cycles down the street. (Cant stand those guys.) The folks at Society are world class.

Society has the best customer service. We called in with a problem and they were so kind and let us come use their tool to fix it which saved us 100 dollars and days of waiting for someone-else to fix it. Society was highly recommended to us from one of our friends and rightfully so. They have a pattern of excellent customer service and the people who work there are awesome. They just gained customers for life out of us.

I have been to Society Cycles to help with accessories and service on my bike. I have been out of biking for many years and they have been very patient with answering my questions and helping me find just the right accessories (I am quite particular) to make the just the right fit (more of an upright posture). In times when many people are buying things online, it is nice to find a brick and mortar shop that has real people that are knowledgeable and that can listen to you and help you find just what you need. As an example, they have just started a great plan that allows customers to try out a variety of different bike seats for a period of time until they find just the right seat that fits their support and comfort needs. Great people and great shop!

I did a Guru system professional fitting with Cory recently, and he was meticulous in getting every height and distance just right and in transferring those settings over to my bike. My seating position and overall cockpit setup are noticeably more comfortable now: I just did a 50-mile ride and got home with my backside feeling much better than usual. We had a misunderstanding, some repairs that had to be done weren’t and a full tuneup was done that actually was unnecessary. The service is so good. Clean place. And is wheelchair friendly I just went repair mine there. And if they dont have something they can get it for you super fast.

They have a cool machine (like a spinning bike) you ride on that analyzes everything and helps find the bike thatll fit you best. Really cool! Might need to make an appointment on their website to ensure its not being used when you stop in. Also, I think they do free tuneups for life if you buy from them.

I brought my bike into Society bikes the other day. I have used them in the past when it was SBR. The new manager (Cory) is awesome. Super knowledgeable and really friendly. The new mechanic is Freddy and he is amazing. If I could give them 6 stars I would. They have amazing bikes and the mechanic is really really good.

This bike shop has the best service and products. But the icing on the cake is the great people who work there. They are knowledgeable and helpful and they obviously love bikes. They answer all questions but there is no pressure to buy. I have taken 3 different bikes in here for repair in the last month and I always left feeling like I was treated fairly. If they say your bike will be ready for pick up on a certain day, they deliver. Best bike shop in Utah County!

I had a great experience buying a new road bike from Society Cycles. They helped talk me through what would work best for me and my riding style and didnt push me into anything I didnt want. I love that I can always go back in and have them look at my bike and get it tuned up every year!

I was able to order my missionaries bike over the phone and have it delivered to the mission home when needed. The only complaint my missionary had was the color of the bike, it is a bright florescent green. Having the option to choose a color would be nice.

Bought one bike from them only to have it stolen 6 weeks later: Owner took pity on my and gave me a small discount on the purchase of a replacement. Crew was very helpful in sizing and selecting a bike suited to my needs, on both purchases. There are other bike shops around which are good, but this place is the best one of them all.

As I was loading my bike up for a family trip I noticed my rear brake had no hydraulic fluid. I called all the bike shops near my house (I live in Salt Lake) and no one had a bleed kit for my brakes in stock and there was no availability in their repair shop. Finally I am branching out to shops in Utah County and no one can help me. Society Cycle didn’t have the parts or availability either. But when they heard I needed it for a family trip they squeezed me in. I showed up with my entire family loaded and the car and they fixed it for me in 15 minutes. I could tell this was not easy for them and that they had to juggle some things to pull it off. When the bill came in, it was much lower than expected. I might make the drive all the way to Orem every time I have cycling needs. They were that good.

Shouting all the high praise I can find: dogged, thorough, determined, approachable, communicative, fair. Extraordinarily professional. I took an ebike in for repair. The issue was elusive but they didnt give up. Many calls and visits brought me into convo with most of the staff. To a person, they are wonderful. I will look to them for almost anything BIKE.

My bicycle buying experience began at another bike shop closer to my home, then SBR Cycles is. At this other shop I went in, asked questions, rode a couple of bikes, but I didnt feel that I was getting my questions answered. Because of my experience at this other bike shop, I gave up on purchasing a bicycle locally and planned on buying one online. When my husband convinced me to try SBR Cycles I was cautious of being treated the same way and getting no where. But as soon as we walked through SBR Cycles doors, we were treated like old friends. They answered all of my questions and gave me honest and through answers. They were patient and kind, and genuinely wanted to make me happy and satisfied about my purchase. Every time I have gone in since my first visit, it has always been a positive experience. They have wonderful customer service, honest and caring employees, and with that they have a customer for life.

Great service and always competitive prices. I had several issues and thought Id had time leave my bike for a few days. Thomas stopped what he was doing and took care of everything! He even found a couple things that I hadnt come in for. I left with my expectations exceeded and for a lot less $ than I expected.

Sbr has been a great, honest shop to work with. Even when I haven’t been in to buy things, the staff has helped me with great advice on how to work on my bike. I’ve had bad experiences with other shops seeming like I’m not worth their time, but when I’ve been in SBR, they’re very attentive to me the second I walk in the door. Last time I was in for example, a young employee dropped what he was doing on a bike immediately to help me, even though they didn’t have the tool I was looking for, he told me a way I could do it without the tool, and recommended another shop that might have it. Fortunately for SBR Cycles I had to at least give one star in order to provide feedback...I had taken my very eager 3 year olds bike to SBR cycles on July 19th (Thursday) for a simple repair (replace a ball bearing). They had told me that one of their techs would work on the bike Friday and that it would be ready that Saturday - It never happened. Long story short, SBR had his bike for over 2 weeks; they had promised me 5 different times that it would be done on 5 different specific days and every time it was never ready. When I went to go get it (August 3), it was in the exact same condition I left it! I asked why was I promised it was going to be done all of those days and it still had not been fixed?! A young and very rude associate of theirs literally asked me, Well what do you want me to do about it?! WOW! That is how you treat your customers? I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS LET ALONE RECOMMEND ANYONE TO SBR CYCLES!8/21/2018 - I am changing my 1 star review up to 2 since the owner did reach out to me directly to address my experience the day after I posted my review. I appreciate that he does care about his business and how customers are being treated. I hope those that are employed by SBR Cycles understand that they can make or break an experience.

SBR is my go-to place for all my biking needs. I have bought both my road bike and mountain bike from them per their suggested models, and I have absolutely loved them!! Road bikes or mountain bikes, theyll have you covered. Not only are they great mechanics, but its also a fun, friendly environment to meet other cyclists. I know all the mechanics (I spend a lot of time there!) and cant say each one is fabulous. Great place!

Awesome shop. I have purchased 5 different bikes from these guys and I can say, without hesitation, that they are the best shop in the valley. I have been to them all, and there seems to be this snobby condescending attitude at most bike shops, especially when they size you up as a less-than-serious or pro rider. Not at SBR. Alan, and the rest of the staff are always super friendly, knowledgeable, and love to talk shop, riding, and all things from tubes and tires to racing, gear, fitment, etc. They know their stuff and always have had the best prices on the bikes Ive wanted. I landed a good shop in Utah County for servicing my bike. I use my bike every single day: its essentially my car. And SBR is situated on my way to work, so its just perfect.

My experience at SBR has been spectacular! The reason for 3 stars is that My experience has been renting wetsuits. As SBR (Swim Bike Run) they are NOT a multisport shop. As a Bike shop however they are very likely a 5 Star joint. The name should be changed or something because the Swim support (other than wetsuit rental) is paltry at best and the Run? Non existent (I think they carry Speed laces) Anyway, It has saddened me to see this shop drop the true Multisport support it once had.

Great place to go for anything bike or triathlon related. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Got an incredible deal on aero bars for my road bike, and had them reroute the shifters and brakes because it was so cheap. Amy was awesome about helping me find the best deal possible for what I was looking for, and Spencer was very knowledgeable about the bikes. I watched as he worked on it and he answered all of my questions in the most helpful manner. They definitely know their stuff, and I left knowing a few new things I hadnt before. I will certainly be relying on them more frequently in the future.

I know people that go here. They like it. I took my bike in for a tune up. It took 5 days longer than it was supposed to, and they werent even able to get me the new tires I ordered. When I got the bike the front brake went to the bar, and the handle bars were still crooked. The gears shifted well enough. They kind of fixed the front brakes. Nice people. I think they recently went through some change in the mechanic staff.

Bad communication. I ordered 3 pairs of foot straps for a stationary bike and they told me it would take 3 days to be delivered. I called back 3 days later to find out that something didn’t work out and that it would take 2 more days. It’s not the fact that it was taking a long time, it was the fact that they didn’t let me know. Then I called back 2 days later and found out they were postponed again. I finally had to call again today to find out they were delivered, they never once called to keep me on the loop or to let me know what was going on with my order, I had to reach out to them with every delay.

The staff is friendly. Some of them are pretty young but they still seem to know what they are talking about. However I was disappointed with the service: I took my bike in for a warranty issue on the fork. They said that they would contact RockShox to get the parts sent over and then get it fixed. After a couple weeks I hadnt heard anything so I called, and got the same answer every time I called. The guy would say that the parts just arrived and they would have it done in a couple days. A week went by and I called again and they said the same thing again. And then another week went by and the same thing again. They finally did get it fixed but it took more than a month. Not impressed.

First found SBR when they moved their shop to south state street last year and I absolutely LOVE this shop! They always have what Im looking for and their staff went above and beyond to help me out with my bike. The mechanics know their stuff and I would not hesitate to take any of my bike to these guys.

This is not a repair shop. They rarely agree to help, and even when they do- they might change their mind by the time you show up (less than an hour later, not close to close). They’re not doing sales either, they’d rather chat amongst themselves, giving the vibe they don’t want you there because they don’t want to work. So I don’t really know what they’re doing here.

I went in SBR for a quote on a pro level road bike and they acted like they were not interested in my business. They didnt even get back with me after calling more than 5 times! They also have a terrible inventory of bikes and anything good would have to be built.

They literally explote my tire and charge me for it. Dont recommend it at all... Also they made me buy a new tire for 60$ bucks.

Brought a bike I had sitting in my garage for a few years in to be looked at. They looked it over, tightened some stuff and filled the tires. And then didnt charge me anything for it. Bought some stuff from them anyway and will be using this place for future bike needs.

Best bike/mechanic/fit shop in Utah county. I have been a serious cyclist for years and like many have been frustrated with bike shops for not delivering. SBR has taken care of me 100% since the first time I went in. Cory with the guru fit system was able to give a more customized fit to my bike that significantly reduced my back pain with riding that has plagued me for years. Alan and Amy are the gear experts and always keep me up to date. Sam and the mechanic shop have been able to go above and beyond my expectation to fix any bike problem I can muster up. I am glad to finally find a bike shop that wont let me down. If you havent yet, try them out. You wont be disappointed.

I quickly realized I wanted to upgrade, so I started shopping at all the local shops (literally every shop in the Provo/Orem area- and 3 or 4 other shops between here and SLC). Eventually I ended up at SBR. After reviewing their free life-time maintenance package, buying from SBR was a no-brainer. Prices were as good as anywhere else, and the shop employees were helpful, super patient, and attentive during the process. I have been super impressed with my post-sale relationship with the shop.
