They were so kind and let me pull right in and check my air pressure my tires and filled my tires up for free can I ask for better customer service for free
Ordered tires from Walmart.com and scheduled an appointment (took calling 4 times for them to pick up.)Arrived for appointment and it took 15 minutes for them to find my tires.Promised service time was 1 hour. Took 2. I sat next to a couple who waited 3.5 hours for a single tire change.Maybe you do save a buck or two using Walmart tire centers. But that savings comes at a high cost.I wont be using them again and will try to talk others out of making the same mistake.
They ate not certified to tell you a problem they mark down but they are certified to diagnosis the problem? Really? Lack of confidence in their services to even change oil.
I went in for an oil change on Friday two cars in front of me, they said its gonna be around two hours wait. So I figured it will be better to came back Saturday 7am when they open, so I did, Im first car there and the guy tells me that its gonna be two hours wait, again, two workers one car two hours wait . I used to like the service here but Im not coming back .
Told one of the mechanics I needed a oil change. Instead of helping me, he argued that I didn’t need one and would be throwing my money away. We’ve had issues with them in the past as well, they’ve chipped our windshield before too and denied it. You’re better off going anywhere else but here. Not very good customer service or mechanics.
Online it says that they mount ATV tires. But the guy I talked to said they dont. He said the only Walmart in Utah that can do it, is the Heber Walmart.Really!Ive got to waste a tank of gas in order to save a few bucks on mounting tires. Luckily, Burt Brothers said theyll give it a try. Ill never use Walmart auto care center!!!!
They say they are not lechanics but they can diagnose a.mechanical problem? Please explain how that makes sense.
I had called to make an appointment but they didn’t answer so I just showed up and they got me in SO FAST. I was done with my tire service in a couple mins ! Joe was literally amazing. He helped me get my new tire on (jiffy lube couldn’t do it since it’s low profile) and he did it in TEN minutes. Joe was amazing!
Do not waste your time. They will try to tell you that you have a problem but then wont tell you what the problem is when you press them for details because they are not mechanics.
Horrible service .. bad attitude.. was there right at 7 on a Sunday said the they dont open tell 8.. would not budge for 1 flat repair thats all that I needed
Currently in line to return a battery. I’ve been in line for 45min now and counting without a single person here to help.
Went to get a new battery and the staff helped us out so much to figure out such better would be best. ASK FOR JOE! He helped us out and changed the battery for us for free. He truly cares about the satisfaction of his customers and loves what he does.
Over the years Ive had oil changed here many times and gotten tires replaced. I do that because Walmart combines timely, good service with very competitive prices. I recommend to friends and family all the time that if they are losing hope in finding a car place they can trust, they should go to their local Walmart.
Very good 👍.Thanks so much!
Tires were changed. Customer service lacked. Employees complained about lack of help. Poor attitude
My wife and I have had our cars serviced here on several occasions and it has always been a pleasant and efficient experience. When changing the tires and oil on my car, they were respectful and only took about an hour, during which time I was able to complete my weekly shopping trip. On two other occasions, our tires were a little low on air and the Walmart Auto Care employees were polite and quick about topping off the air on our tires and even checked to make sure there were no issues with the tire pressure. Best of all they were honest and have never tried to upsell or trick me into paying for unneeded repairs like other shops Ive been to. Overall 5 star customer service.
I went to get my tires replaced. My appointment was at 10 am and I didn’t end up leaving until 1:30. They had told me it would be an hour wait, but I never received a message or phone call that my car was done. I checked with the front desk to see if it was finished but they couldn’t find the paperwork and told me it must not be finished (after three hours of waiting). Finally, Chandler (the only reason I’m giving one star at all) who helped me check in saw me and asked what I was still doing there since he had finished my car hours before. Turns out they had filed all of my paperwork under a different name. Awful experience. I would have been there all day if he hadn’t noticed me waiting. So, I do NOT recommend Walmart as a solution to your car troubles. But, if you have to go, Chandler is your guy! He was so kind and apologetic and was so quick to help resolve the issue. He even asked his manager if he could give me a discount, but she wouldn’t let him.
Gruff, unhelpful, you wont even *talk* to someone for half an hour or more.
I had an emergency they were there for me
Helped with a bad battery, replacing a tire, and an oil change. Great job all around
When compared with other equivalent shops, they are par. Still, sitting in the waiting room with empty water cooler and a malfunctional DVD player tried my patience. I know that they get a lot of business, and for that I give them a pass. The reason I gave them 4 stars is that they were honestly trying to stay on top.
The employees are very nice and helpful, but service is so slow. I took both of my cars in last week for oil changes, each at a different time. On an afternoon around 1 it was an hour and a half wait, so for the next car I decided to go in early, around 7:30. I was told it would only be an hour wait, but it was still over an hour and a half. They did a great job, but be ready to wait. They also vacuum your car, but mine didnt look vacuumed at all. Not a huge deal since its included with the cost of the oil change, but seems like poor advertising to me.
Only complaint is the place is quite busy. But I guess that is kind of like a doctors office. The busier they are the better the service. Took a minute to get my oil changed, but over all good service.
This is literally the best Walmart Auto Care in Utah. Ask Tony for help because he is the best worker and nicest mechanic guy there. Walmart really should promote him more or raise his salary. He is very professional! Even though I dont live in Provo anymore, I still remember his name and come back to write a good review for him and his crew.
Not thrilled with the service here. Called in to see if they were busy so I didn’t have to sit and was told they only had 2 in front of me. I ended up sitting for 1.5 hours just for an oil change. Jiffy lube would have done it way faster ! Do not recommend coming here.
Went to get my oil changed. Wasn’t given the time of day. Said it would be a 2 hour wait on a Tuesday afternoon...They said to wait in the car and someone would come to get me and write me up. Waited for 15 minutes and drove away. Don’t come here for a quick and easy oil change.
Excellent experience buying on their website and having them install parts when they arrived. Well staffed, very nice folks. Easy and convenient.
Sorry to say, but this location is always too slow for my comfort. They got my oil change done, but it took 2.5 hours even though I was third in line when I got there. Tried to make the best of the wait, but the person tending the counter changed DVDs on the TV and then left the DVD droning on the music for the menu screen for 30 minutes. I left with a headache.
I purchased tires for my 2004 mustang and my 2015 Hyundai the past 6 months. Very helpful front counter employees. Great prices, fast service!
Walmart used to be my go to for oil changes because of their prices. I’ve tried to get my oil changed 3 different times this week..each time with a 3 hour wait and rude employees. I tried to call to see how long the wait was and was on hold for 15 minutes each time. Paying a little more somewhere else for better, quicker service is what I’m doing next time.
Had a flat tire. Tried to tell me that it was irreparable and that I needed to buy a brand new tire.Went somewhere else, and they fixed the flat just fine. Saved $70 and an unnecessary purchase. Not going to Walmart for auto services again.
I always have a good experience here! They go out of their way to help me the best they can at the lowest cost.
We come here for oil changes. They can get busy, so I would recommend calling ahead to see what their wait time is. They have a coffee maker as well as hot chocolate maker in there waiting area which is nice. The magazines that they have arent always the best, good thing everybody has a smartphone these days! Staff here always relatively nice, especially the ones that work the registers.
Currently here for an oil change, they didnt tell us up front how long we would have to wait so now we have to wait over an hour and we are stuck here trying to find a place to sit because the waiting room is full. the service here is absolutely horrible.
Ricky is not a very customer orientated technician. And for as long as he has worked there, he does not know his job very well, or he just likes to nickel and dime customers. 1st he told me my vehicle would take an extra quart so it would be 6 courts, I would have to pay for the extra quart. I agreed I already knew that, so I figured he knew my vehicle also. But then he came back and said my vehicle would take 7 to 7 1/2 quarts. Then I heard another technician say he would have to change the customers air filter, without even looking at the vehicle. How can a business have integrity wanting to take advantage of customers like that. do not take your business to them.
Waited an hour only to be told they didn’t have the right filter for my car, oil was never changed. Really slow service they seem very understaffed, could have been a better experience.
Took a car there with a flat tire. They said it wasnt flat. It was flat It was on the rim there was no air in it. They argued with me about this. I think they might be having some mental issues or werent sober Im not sure its hard to mistake a flat tire.
Terrible! Had to wait 1& 1/2 hours just to get a new battery and after the new battery was installed the battery still came on in the car. Went back in and they were very rude. Said it wasnt their problem and to take it somewhere else to get the alternator checked out. Didnt even bother to explain! Will never go back there again. You need to train your employees how to treat customers!
Good price, but they seem understaffed and like they dont care very much. Next time Ill go somewhere else.
Some of the fastest oil changes around. My car was in and out with 30 minutes (this was with 2 people in front of me). Employees were pleasent and polite.
They did a great job! They checked my battery, replaced it and cleaned my terminals and put a protectant on them in less than 30 minutes! Plus, they were so nice! Thanks Walmart Tires and Auto Parts!
Don’t get your car worked on here UNLESS YOU KNOW HOW YO QUALITY CHECK EVERYTHING YOURSELF! 24hrs after an oil change from these guys, there was a huge puddle of oil under my car and a trail wherever I drove. Once I noticed, I discovered the oil filter was so loose I could spin it with my finger. I immediately went back and while Tony, the manager, had it retigthened and refilled, there was never an apology (even though their mistake could’ve seized up my engine). I know my car leaks oil, but loosing an entire quart in 24hrs is unprecedented in my car and a loose filter isn’t acceptable for any car regardless of its prior conditions. The prices are low which is nice (and to their credit they did make my situation right), but unless you know how to quality check their work yourself - just stay away and save yourself a potential disaster.
NINETY MINUTES TO CHANGE A CAR BATTERY. NINETY MINUTES. If he would have handed me the socket wrench I could have changed it myself in five. The incompetence is absolutely astounding.
My wife came here just after 6 on a Monday night and they said to come back another day because they decided to close at 6 that day. I went the next day and got there at about 5:30 and they took my car. After waiting a half hour one of the managers said they couldnt change the oil because it had zip ties holding the scuff guard on to the undercarriage. I told them I never put those on, and he said they did before, but they werent allowed to remove them. So I walked into the store and purchased some clippers and replacement zip ties, and after I removed the ties a different manager told me to come back tomorrow because they had cars that had shown up after me that they needed to work on before 7... They wasted more time than they are worth.
Love it cuz I can go shopping at the same time to fixing my car so by the time Im ready they are also ready for me
Pulled in for a simple oil change at 6:40 pm on a Monday and there were not any cars waiting to be serviced. The employee turned me away saying that they regularly accept new vehicles till 7:00 pm but that today was an exception to that and that they could not accept my car even though they would be open for 20 more minutes
Tony I had a flat tire that needed replaced. Tony in the auto area was super helpful and got us in and out for as cheap as he could and as quick as he could. He tried to make sure we could repair it before he tried to push a new tire on us. Then, the next day we had another tire that appeared to be flat. We brought it over to Walmart and he and his team helped us by checking it and determined that someone had just deflated our tire. They got it back on the car and sent us on our way with no charge. It was a great experience and Ill gladly come back for my next set.
Don’t bother coming here to get your oil changed. I waited two hours just for the guy to tell me that they don’t have the oil filter for my vehicle so they couldn’t change the oil. The service here was terrible and the attendant was rude. They couldn’t even drive my car which is a manual, stalling it several times. Being an “autocenter” you’d think they’d at least know how to drive a car.
Always quick and friendly. Better than Jiffy lube. Much cheaper and less waiting.
Phones been ringing for 20 minutes... someone from general reception would pick up. I told them that this was my second time talking to them and that nobody in tires picked up. they said hold on let me try again it rang and rang and rang and finally someone just hung up on me.
Staff didnt do what asked for (I needed a headlight replacement for my car because it was out and my car needed an oil change anyway) instead he tells me it doesnt need to be changed. It did I had to go somewhere else that night after this to get one. Employee treated me like I am stupid when I asked for something simple. I ended up making two trips for my car when I wanted one. I wont be coming back! work on your people skills!
We took our car in for an oil change and tire rotation. It took them two hours to tell us the person to last change our oil messed up the threads to the plug and that they didn’t have the pump to change it from the top. Guess who changed our oil last? Them. Guess who didn’t take credit for it or apologize for wasting our time? Them. Guess who said they rotated the tires and lied about it? Them. To top it off, we waited 10 minutes for someone to even come to the counter to tell us they didn’t do anything at all in the two hours they kept our car.
Was just there around 145ish and was treated by an ignorant and rude customer service. I waited for approximately 15 or more minutes behind 2 pple to have this guy help another person behind me. I went here to change my 2 tires that have warranty and I am very dissatisfied with the uncourteous customer service. If there was a 0 star this place dont deserve any stars. If they dont want to help people out pls hire those that are courteous. My experience here is terrifying.
Sometimes long waits, so go first thing in the AM. but the prices are good, and the employees are kind.
We take our cars here for oil changes and tire rotation. Its fast and affordable!
Completely disappointed with the service we received in every way. We purchased four tires from them theee months ago. Within that time period two tires have blown on separate occasions. Both times we received zero customer service. Both should have been covered by their “limited warranty” but they did absolutely nothing to help us. If I knew they sold defective tires I wouldn’t have even gone there in the first place. Would never recommend them to anyone.
Cheap, pretty clean, open 24 hours.. I just bought a toaster for $10, Idk what else ya could ask for
Way less expensive than anywhere else for oil changes and tires. No complaints here
They were out of pretty much every filter I needed. I usually check Walmart first cause their prices are lower but I risk them not having what I need in stock.
Disgusted! Went in to get an oil change. They said it would be an hour and that they might text me once the oil change was complete. I waited around at walmart (favorite place to be) for an hour, came back to pick up my car just to discover they didnt have the right oil filter and didnt even do the oil change. On top of that I get into my car and to find a cigarette bud in my ash tray (I dont smoke) and my car smelt like smoke. If I wasnt running late to work I would have gone in to complain but I literally didnt have time after wasting an hour sitting like a complete fool when they had my number and could have easily sent me a text like the old fart said he might do.
Went to walmart in Lindon at 6:05 to get a flat tire patched, said they didnt have time and go to the Orem store. Got to the Orem store at 6:20 !and the Technician told me they couldnt fix my tire because my door handle is broken (although it still works) because of policy and then walked away. I am a calm level headed person who generally doesnt write scathing reviews, but this was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had in my life. Couldnt fix my flat tire because my door handle is semi broken? Even if this really is a policy he could have at least treated me like an equal human being, not an annoyance who should have known better than to bother him.
I expected to have a hard time replacing my battery under warranty, but Tony was easy to work with and got me taken care of quickly. It probably helped that I came on a Saturday morning
Greatest place to get tires and oil changes very knowledgeable and epic technicians
I went in to get a new battery. They said they would install it for free which was great! Except they wouldnt take a no for an answer when I told them I did not want to test my current battery or slow charge it. I had already tested the battery and knew that it was dead but they still wouldnt let me just get the battery installed. Great place if youre an average joe but not so great place if you already know whats wrong and what to replace.
God awful service! They don’t even know how to work a battery charger! My battery was melting and they said it was a good battery had to get a manager to come out to tell the dummies that the battery looks awful and they need to replace it. Would click on 5 trash cans instead of a star
My first and last time to ever go there. I went there for an oil change, told me the wait will be and hour and half which was fine. The hour an half went by, i decided to just check with the guy at the counter about my car. I looked out their window and saw that my car was already parked outside the shop, so I figured its done. Well, it wasnt. They didnt do anything to it. The worker went on to explain that they couldnt change my oil because the oil cap was broken and I needed to go to the previous place I got my oil changed at because theyre liable for the broken cap and walmart didnt wanna be blamed for it. Ok, thats fine. Well, I then decided to call up my brother in law to get an opinion on how to fix the broken oil cap. Long story short, my brother in law changed my oil with NO BROKEN CAP. NOTHING WAS WRONG OR BROKEN!!!....
GAVE ONE STAR BECAUSE I COULD NOT GIVE 0. They have always been closed when Ive gone. Two hours before they were supposed to close. They said it was because they were short staffed. Wal mart needs to hire more auto technicians.
Helpful kind servicemen! They were professional and did a great job!
Had my girlfriend go to repair her tire because it had a small puncture and when she asked the TLE associate for help with this, they began to up sell getting all four tires replaced. She responded saying that she just needs the one and they told her to go to discount tire company. HORRIBLE SERVICE.
Avoid this place like the plague. I got my oil change done here a few times since they are the cheapest around. This last time, instead of getting an oil change, I got a ruined oil pan and plug! Not only did I have to be toed to a different ship to fix it, but they also gave me the run around for 4 days to have it reimbursed for the damage they did!If they cant seem to figure out a basic oil change, they dont deserve anyones business. Warn everyone you know about this sad excuse for a shop!
It took someone over 30 mins just to come out and help me get in line for an oil change.
I came here with a slow leak in one of my tires. I called before and they were reluctant to give me information on getting a tire plugged. They then told me that it could be up to a 2 hour wait.I went in and there werent hardly any people there. One worker then tells me that Your tire is legally balled so I cant patch it.First off, he only but glanced at the tire, and second, my tires arent even a year old yet. They have plenty of tread on them and almost look brand new.He then went to go hang out with his friends.Needless to say, I took my car to big o and they took care of my tire.
Took my car here for an oil change. My car takes almost 7 quarts, when they changed it they only put in 5. I noticed once I got home, I called the store and the manager said they would fill it where it needs to be and reimburse me for the oil change but not the filter. When I arrived the following day, since the manager wasnt present they didnt want to give me my money back for not completing the oil change. The guy at the lube shop said they would put a quart in and see where the oil level was. It was more full but I know my car takes 7 quarts not 6. Plus they didnt even use the correct oil weight. The guy there then told me he tells his guys not to do oil changes on my kind of car. Its a 3 series bmw. They are extremely easy to do changes on, they just cry because theres no dipstick. Still doesnt mean they cant find out how much oil it takes. Ive had my oil changed at the Saratoga Springs walmart before with no issue. Its not a policy thing with my car, these guys are idiots.
Good service wish they could do more keys for more models
By far the worst Walmart I have ever been to.
The service people were not helpful and literally did not say a singleword No call when service was complete. we had to Ask about the car being finished . I willnot be using this service Again .
Wow. I have never been treated so badly. This place is a joke. Technician refused to change my oil because he couldnt figure out how to open it. I showed him how to do it but he said that he wouldnt do it because Wal-Mart had a policy against it. What a joke. Just lost my service forever.
Man these guys are awesome. Man even when they are short handed and people are up in arms they remain calm and do their best to take care of their customers.
Said it’d be a two hour wait, ended up being four and a half hours
Waited 2.5 hours to get my tires replaced!!!Don’t come here
Wow the worst service on the planet. Have been here for 4.5 hrs for just an oil changed!! With just 1 car in front of me when I came. This is not cool!!!! Do not come here.
Actually have a lot better prices than an autozone.
Walmart auto care closes at 7 PM. At least its what they say. I arrived at 6:45 PM and they are already closed.
What a miserable experience. Took and hour and a half for an change that was priced at $19.88 and the total comes out to almost double that. Typical auto shop scam artists.
Terrible service when I tried to use them for oil change. I went there because other places were closed at 6 PM. But then I ended up just leaving because of their service.
While we were out of town, a Walmart in Gillette, WY filled our oil way too high, almost twice as high as the crosshatch on the dipstick. My wife called ahead and asked if she could get the oil level fixed at this location, and they agreed. Then after waiting in line, the technician spent several minutes trying to convince her it wasnt a problem, that it was probably only half a quart too high, and that it might even add extra lubrication. The technician at Master Muffler begs to differ. Thats where we normally go when we arent out of town, and their service is terrific. After calling me to double check, my wife is now waiting in line again for the thing she called ahead and asked for in the first place. If they try to charge us or mess up something else, Im changing this rating from two stars to one star.Edit: After my wife waited in line a second time, they said point blank that they wont do it. Rating would be higher if they had told us that when we called ahead.
They should be open until 7pm, I went there at 6:20pm and all the doors were closed already. I called the Walmart and they said that it should be open and transferred the call to the auto care center and when the guy picked up the phone, I told him I had my car outside and he was super rude and said it was closed. Stupid
They were fast and friendly, Ill be back
SLOW SERVICE.So slow it doesnt make sense, plan on spending at least an hour for even the smallest/easiest service/check.
Fair
Good price and they top everything off. Just dont ever ask them to do more than the basics, cause they cant
Killed my battery by leaving my lights on, didnt even apologize for it. Took them twice as long than they said it would to change the oil.
They forgot to reset something in my car after doing an oil change.is never enough employees and management seems to be to easy socialize with each other to take care customer.Never again!!
There’s usually a super long wait.
They replaced my tire and got me on my way in 20 minutes
Went in to get a oil change with a fuel injection and it ended up damaging the O2 sensor. Spoke with the manager and he said he would reimburse me for the part and service to get it in3 weeks later and nothing. Horrible serviceAnd the employees tried to go back on it
Waited on hold for 9min until they hung up the phone.
Offered to fill my flat tire for free after the nearby Texaco had me pay to use their compressor that ended up not even working (and then refused to refund my money). I wish I had gone here first!
The worst service in town. Save yourself the trouble and your time. Dont go here
