The worst service ever and they kept delaying my order when they told me another time. When I went to pick up my lumber they gave me the wrong price s and tried to make me pay more. Don’t go with them

I was looking to get some baseboard for a little project at my house. They were super helpful and have way better prices than home depot and/lowes. Hidden treasure if you ask me! Ill be back later this week for some more. Thanks guys!

Price and quality is good. But dont go here if you are in a hurry! They do not call when your order is ready (like they promise they will). When you go to pick it up, even if there are no other customers and youre picking up literally 1 door, plan on 30 minutes minimum. No one cares to help and theres dozens of guys just wandering around.

To do a lot of business with BMCI quit years ago doing business with them because they could never get anything right, there was always some fiasco going on, whether it be delivery or getting your order right etc.so its been like 15 years so I thought well maybe Ill give him another chance,so I called to order some doors for myself personally,Well guess what computer wasnt working the guy took my order via writing it down, said he was going to get back to me when he placed the order and never did,So 3 days later I called, no doors have been ordered, they said they would have the guy call me immediately, he never did, so three days later I call back and guess what nobody is even heard of me. What a flipping jokeYou would think that they would want to earn more business from contractors oh well guess Ill go somewhere else Again!!!!You should to !!!

They are a very dishonest company. They have screwed up my order several times. And they never finish a job on time. I have dealt with all sorts of construction type companies growing up and this is the worst one I have ever dealt with. I even spoke with management and they still cant get things done. They cant even make a proper door. Then when they screw it up and you call they lie about the time it will take.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I made an account with BMC despite the horrible reviews hoping that the reviews were just some grumpy people. I was wrong - all of the reviews are accurate. When i went in to make an account i told them that i needed an outside salesman to come out and do a takeoff on some doors and i was told that a salesman would be in contact with me. After a week of not hearing anything i called in to see what the hold up was and i was given the email of Adam Whipple. He told me he would get in contact with a salesman and let me know when he would be able to come out. A week passed and no response. I emailed him again and he said he would contact a salesman. 3 days later - no response so i asked for the outside salesman’s number so i can schedule something myself. Adam told me the salesman would be in contact later that day or the next. It has now been a week since that email and i was reminded of this when i saw 2 outside salesmen in my neighborhood this morning. Maybe 2 blocks from the job I’m doing.Long story short - I took my business to burton lumber and was given a takeoff the next day and my doors were delivered within a week.Do not use BMC and do not ask Adam Whipple for any help - he will give you none.

Good service food was ok but not very delicious service

I’m a contractor and construction professional customer service is vey poor. Stood for two minutes, only one at counter before anyone even acknowledged i was there. General lack of knowledge of their products, poor service. If I want to track down a sales person or stand around I’ll just go to Home Depot prices are comparable.

Our experience at BMC was yet another positive experience. We love this place. Friendly staff, huge savings on products and very high quality.

I have always had great customer service and the pricing is reasonable. Mistakes have been made but they are always corrected.

Always have lumber for all my business needs

I watched as one of their delivery trucks was far exceeding the speed limit on I-15 in Orem. I reported this to the dispatcher at this location thinking that they might want to know when their drivers are not obeying the law. The dispatcher couldnt have been less concerned about the situation and did not want to do any follow-up. (I felt it was really sincere when he thanked me for my phone call,... not.) I was just amazed at the lack of caring toward their customers or potential customers.I guess he felt like he was doing his job, protecting an employee who was breaking the law.and then announcing that he couldnt give less than a !#$@ about the potential harm this behavior might cause. Just cant wait to read about Karma visiting this company. These guys will never see a dime from me thats for sure.

Workers are very rude and have a serious attitude! Not helpful at all and are very rude every time we have gone in. We placed a big door order and realized after that we forgot to order 1 door. Called to talk with the original girl that helped us and she wasn’t in, so the girl Sierra that answered the phone had to simply order ONE door and she had Sooo much attitude! After 5 phone calls with her, she finally emailed me with the price and said she’d call me to get my payment. I waited 15 min then decided to call myself and she had already left for the day! It was only 4 pm! She knew exactly what she was doing when she left early! I will not be doing business with this company ever again, horrible customer service.

I deal with bmc west alot, especially the orem location. They are very helpful and friendly, they are quick on orders and deliveries. Keep in mind, you have to come in with the right information from YOUR project. They are not genies and can guess your end result, I see this alot with people that are dissatisfied. Its not their fault. YOU bring in the information to them, they can help through the ordering process but at the end of the day you tell them what you want. Have patience with them, they deal with alot of people and alot of materials for the projects we are doing. I give them above a five star, its my responsibility to make sure I ordered the right material and check up with them on deliveries.

Overall I am pleased with this place. Staff is knowledgeable. Some options are limited but they can usually order about anything in you need.

BMC refunded me the money for the cracked door. And I found out that the replacement doors do not come pre-milled for hinges. This company really does care about their customers and they have integrity. They are a great place to do business. Leah W. Orem, Utah

Unbelievable...The only reason we ordered through BMC was because we built an Ivory Home and wanted our basement to match the rest of the house. Doors were delivered broken. They sent the wrong hinges. It took weeks to fix these issues and delayed our project. I would NOT recommend BMC.

Im order few doors 2 months a go and wen finally they suppose to have ready to pick up the doors are basically trash Im wish we can post pictures off those doors in this site

We went in to get a cost estimate on a couple of doors with our contractor, they were suppose to get back with us, never contacted us and never called after 2 months of waiting. Finally went in and they told us manufacturer doesnt recognize the item serial numbers or that they are outdated item numbers (BMC ARE THE ONES THAT GAVE US THE SERIAL NUMBERS). Started the whole process over again with Shannon, and again after two more months of calling, they have not returned our phone calls. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! Horrible customer service! THEY DO NOT EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR!

Absolutely terrible customer service! Didnt deliver when it was supposed to be scheduled. I ended up having to pick up material myself and waited for an hour for items to be pulled and loaded while the entire yard went on break! A complete joke!
