Honestly, just an incredible experience. Ive never met any other workers as friendly and helpful - plus they have tons of retro and great games at awesome prices! I cant recommend this place enough.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Stock changes all the time of course but their stock is reasonable and well priced. The manager even let me test my NES to see if it was working or just my controllers were bad. I bought a couple items there and they gave me a wonderful price for them, even letting get an item for free. Absolutely recommend and will go back there anytime!

They know their stuff and they genuinely care to get you the best pricing on all items, purchased or sold. Ive never had a bad experience here and love any opportunity I get to drop by. My only thing is I wish theyd turn the arcade cabinets back on and maybe just supply sanitation wipes but they know their business practices best

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Game Changerz is the best place in Utah to get video games. I have traded with them, sold to them and purchased from them. All of which has been a very pleasant experience. Went in for the vintage Pokemon cards, left having had a top-notch experience. These guys go out of their way to help you find what you need (even if its in the back and hasnt been priced/sorted yet) and the card pricing is MORE than fair. What a great establishment. Its a great retro game store. They sell it All even Atari 2600. Prices seem to be a few bucks cheaper than what other stores would charge. Great staff too. I browse Everytime Im in the area and 90% of the time I find something.

I have been to this shop two times looking for pokemon cards. Each time the two employees completely ignored me and talked amongst themselves. I asked a few questions thinking they would get up and come talk to me about what they had in stock. Wrong. They continued talking to each other until i finally walked out. Disappointing experience after reading the reviews of other customers.

Very friendly staff, good selection and prices that are just as good if not better than buying online. Definitely recommend! Theres a Nintendo arcade machine in the corner that adds a nice touch.

Great customer service and generally just a nice staff. You could talk to them for hours about games and you can tell they love their job. Also the prices are amazing. You can get old systems for 150 and under usually. The store is also really well maintained.Basically its a great place over all. Only rating 4 stars cause nothing is 100% perfect. In actuality its like 4.9 stars.

We had a friend recommend Game Changerz to get a screen fixed on an iPhone 7. During the repair misfortune happened and they were amazing to deal with. They treated us right from the beginning. It wasnt even any fault of theirs and they STILL took care of us! We would recommend this place to ANYONE! On top of all of this, they had by far the most reasonable prices for all of their services!

This is where I go to get classic and modern games in Utah county. The staff are friendly, and remember me, they alwaysGreet you upon entry, regardless of busyness and are very helpful in finding games you are looking for, or recommending games that you should look at. I visit at least monthly, but they keep you updated on their interesting stock via social media. Love this store. A nice place focused on used retro and current video games.

Sprint wanted $100 and seven days to fix my cracked iPhone screen, even with the insurance I pay. These guys did it for $89 and only took twenty minutes, and they did a great job. They also had the extra special old video game that a friend wanted for Christmas, so kudos to them.

I have been a regular here for close to four years, and have no plans of stopping. The customer service is excellent, the prices are fair, and they stand behind what they sell. Easily my favorite store! Five stars

Nice selection. I love stores that have imports. I stopped by a week after my first visit and picked up some games from a recent trade. Bronson was very helpful. I will return if Im ever in the area again.

These guys are amazing, honest, and will take care of you. I went in to get my Xbox repaired and they accidentally broke it (it was a very difficult fix, and the mistake was an honest one). However, they called me up immediately and they were able to replace it!!! They are amazing!!!! The refurbished Xbox is working better than my other one, and they are very skilled at what they do. They also have top notch customer service. I was blown away by how well they took care of me.The selection of games is amazing, they have retro games and will guide you to the best deal possible to help you out. I will definitely be going back again and again, especially if I need something repaired. Theyve earned my business for a long time!

I came in to do a repair on my Xbox one today and these guys are extremely fast and very thorough. I am coming back here for all my gaming needs. They have a great stock of retro games in there staff is amazingly helpful and friendly. Five stars all the way!

A gaming store for gamers both new and experienced, with a focus on older machines and software. The staff is friendly and helpful. They also have some trade-able cards like Pokemon on display.(TLDR; They fixed my N64 even though it was well outside the normal warranty period).A personal anecdote is probably the best way to explain the nature of this place. I purchased a Nintendo 64 from them (all other local stores didnt have them) and it came with a 30-day warranty. I didnt get around to playing it often, but it worked fine the two times I played it in the 30 day window. About a month later the N64 wouldnt turn on and the red light on the front was blinking. After scouring the internet I decided the power source was most likely the culprit. I was annoyed because I just bought the thing but since it was over 30 days I didnt bother contacting the store and just bought a new power source from Amazon. The N64 still wouldnt work.I took the N64 to the store and told them the story. They were very nice and spent probably 30 minutes troubleshooting everything they could think of (it was some rare issue they had never encountered). They did eventually get it working, but just to be safe, gave me a different N64 with an additional VGA cable (my new power source was fine). So even though I brought the system in after about 120 days (300% past the actual warranty), they happily fixed the system and even included an additional 30 day warranty on the new system they gave me.Through the ordeal I dd end up buying a new power cord, but that was on me and, due to my experience with them overall, I think they would have made things right either way. Its nice to go to a store where they treat the customers well and dont hide behind arbitrary store policies.

My PS4s software crashed on me and with in a few hours these guys had it back up and running. Very nostalgic collection of games in store as well. Might come back to buy a N64 and some other things from them.

Lots of great old games. They had the connector cord I needed so it saved me the wait and cost of buying online. Shopkeep was knowledgeable. The interior of the shop was a bit drab and tired looking. Maybe its a dumb reason to not give five stars. The games are low priced. Worth the visit particularly if you want games for an older console.

These guys are awesome! I dropped my Iphone in water and it stopped working. I took it to another place that kept it all day long and couldnt fix it for whatever reason they said the phone was just dead. So my sister recommended GameChangers. So at 6:30 I dropped it off with them and within 2 hours they had my phone working like new! I am super happy with the service I received. It was also extremely affordable. They replaced my screen and fixed the water damaged area all for $120. They were also really friendly and nice to talk with. Just a great place !

Ive visited every game store from Logan to Provo and the Orem Game Changerz is my favorite. They have games for all my favorite systems from Atari 2600 to PS4. Not to mention quality Japanese imports. They are cheapest Ive found to resurface discs, and their game prices are very reasonable in a booming market. Michael is the manager and really knows a lot about games over every platform.

I recently got my old GameCube from my parents house to play some games that I hadn’t played in years. I got the GameCube set up at my house and started it up. The game would play for a short while, but I would always get a disc read error. I cleaned the discs off and they were looking ok to me. After looking things up on YouTube, I did some basic troubleshooting, but lacked the tools to open the system up, so I figured I would take it to someone to look at. I brought it in to Game Changerz and told the associate what I had done. He looked at my disc and said there were some scratches on it that were probably causing the problem. He resurfaced the disc for me and we tested it to make sure it worked. He did this for free since he said the scratches didn’t require a complete resurfacing, and only took their machine about 60 seconds to fix. Unfortunately, I did not get the associates name, but I had a very positive experience and he was extremely helpful. I have other discs that need to be fixed, and I know where I will be taking my business.

Every night i used to cry myself to sleep because i couldn’t find the perfect place for all my retro gaming, pokémon card and gadget repair needs. one day i dropped my brand new iphone on the ground and the screen shattered to pieces. i broke down. as i was moping and sobbing uncontrollably through downtown orem, i looked up and there in a beacon of light was game changerz. i walked in & was greeted by the friendly, lovable staff. they smiled and all my troubles went away. as i was perusing their wide selection of retro games, consoles and pokémon cards, they fixed my phone back to its original glory and then some. she glowed with the possibility of a new friendship. as i walked out of game changerz my heart was full again. i know i had finally found the place i was looking for.thank you game changerz for saving my life.

So far so good. Brought in my xbox one for repair and for 20$ got a diagnostic. They called back and told me the diagnosis and asked if I wanted it repaired. I said yes and upgraded to a new 2 tb hard drive (old 500gb hard drive is dead). Should be done in a week to 10 days when the hard drive arrives. 90 day warranty. Lots of used games for sale. Will update in a week or so.

Great customer service. Had a DVD that needed repair, they were the only ones I could find locally that still does it. DVD runs perfect now and couldnt be happier. Had me in and out in less than 5 minutes.

I love these guys!! I bought a used play station and they gave me two controllers, cleaned my games and threw in some Xbox accessories for super cheap for my family. I brought the controllers back (within the 30 day guarantee) because they were not functioning good and they gave me two more controllers with no questions asked. Want to give a huge SHOUTOUT to Game Changerz. We were having issues with our PS4 connecting with our TV (after its been working for weeks). We called them one evening and they walked us through several trouble shooting steps to figure the problem out. When that didnt work, they asked us to come in the next day with the unit so they can run it through a series of tests there at the store. We brought it in, and the system functioned like new right out of the box (things never fail for the technician/mechanic). After 30 minutes of testing and zero issues, they sent us on our way. No charge for their time!!! That is truly great customer service. As long as we live in the area, Game Changerz-Orem, UT has won our business for our gaming needs.
