This Asian Market at Orem is one of our favorites. It has lots of international foods. Entering the parking lot of the store you’ll see some beautiful art work.There’s a good verity of meats, vegetables, fruits and sea foods. Some that you can’t find at Walmart or other stores.They have a buba beehive and Roman shop inside which are both delicious choices.

The variety in this store is unmatched, and they carry authentic quality products. Youll need a translator to know what everything is, and dont be afraid to ask for help! The staff are very accommodating!

This is the first time Ive ever been to a place like this. It is definitely not like the popular grocery store with wide aisles and lots of organization. However it was amazing that all the variety of things that were displayed. But so many things that would be interesting to try. My daughter who shops here quite often was so excited to find things she hadnt even seen before. The employees were very nice and helpful as were some of the other shoppers. The prices seem too high for some things but I really had nothing to compare. On items that I could compare they seemed fairly reasonable

I have been shopping at Asian Market in Orem since they opened. I have never had a problem with anything here before. But I need to share my last (and it will be my last time shopping there) experience on 9/20/21. The first thing I did was look at the other 1-Star reviews on Google of Asian Market in Orem. I noticed that every Response from the Owner of these reviews were defensive and tried to shift blame to the customer. This is extremely unprofessional and degrading to their customers. That is exactly how I was treated in the store today.I went to the checkout counter with my groceries and told the cashier this was a tax-exempt purchase for the Alpine School District. I had made multiple purchases here in the past this same way. The cashier said he could not take a tax-exempt credit card. I informed him that I had made this type of purchase before and asked him to get help if he was unaware of how to process this transaction. He told me that he knew what to do and processed my transaction. When I checked my receipt, I saw that I had been charged sales tax. I informed the cashier of this and he proceeded to tell me it was my mistake because I failed to tell him it was tax-exempt. The store was busy at this time and I felt that he just wanted to process my purchase and I would leave or not check if I had been charged sales tax.I asked him to fix his mistake because I cannot have sales tax on a school purchase. He told me he could not fix anything. The manager came over, who was working at the cashier counter right next to us, obviously heard our entire conversation. He told the manager that I failed to tell him this was a tax-exempt purchase. The manager, who grew a very condescending sneer, said to me, “Do you speak English or do you speak Chinese?”. I’m not sure what was the intention of this question, up to this point we had all been speaking English. I feel it was intended to degrade and demean me, even though I speak perfect English. The store was busy and this time and the cashier and the manager did not want to take the time to properly process my purchase. Additionally, they wanted me to accept the blame for their mistake in charging me sales tax.After what felt like 20 minutes, arguing back and forth, the manager finally refunded my purchase with sales tax and re-scanned my purchase without sales tax. They never accepted responsibility for their mistake and never apologized for the inconvenience this caused me and for the humiliating and disgraceful way I was treated.

Best boba there is plain and simple. Plus friendly staff, and a large candy section.

Love this Asian market! Its the most consistently best-stocked market I know of in the Provo/Orem area and I can usually find just about anything I need here for a good price.

I’ve been buying most of my groceries here for about a year now and the staff are so kind!!! If I ever have questions or concerns they are happy to help ☺️ They also have a great variety of items, so I find that I don’t have to jump from store to store for everything I need. Store is clean and organized so it’s easy to find what you’re looking for. If they have to move an item to a different aisle, they even put up signs that will direct you to the right place. Overall just a wonderful experience every time!

Luv this store just wish they would have more hot garlic shrimp chips that are NEVER in stock.

They have excellent prices, and everything has an English translation! Youd be surprised at the amount of Asian Markets that dont have English translations. My only complaint is that it could be cleaner, but other than that it was excellent.For such a small store, they have a very large selection of products to choose from. They have lots of Asian snacks, HUGE bags of rice, and tons of cool drinks! Grocery shopping here really wouldnt be a bad idea

We have found so many things here that we hadn’t been able to find other places. They have a great selection of ramen and other Asian snacks. There is also a fun little boba shop inside.

Our family go to store for imported goods. My wife is sensitive to milk and my son cant do gluten, so we end up having a lot of different Asian styled dishes, especially Korean, which ingredients can be found here!

You know, I don’t buy a lot of stuff from here, mostly just the occasional sauce or wraps, but the selection is really impressive. Tons of different food from tons of different nations. The prices vary a lot, some things are surprisingly inexpensive, while others feel too expensive but that makes sense since they likely are ordering relative small quantities, overall I think it’s prices are pretty good, better than I would have anticipated.

The staff have always been friendly and helpful every time I have gone shopping here. The selection is also very good!

Cool imported goods. I had lunch from their deli or whatever its considered. Best Ramon Noodles Ive ever had hands down. Yum

You will find here anything Asian that you cant find anywhere else.You may have to overcome the language barrier, but the employees strive to serve and are helpful and friendly.

Pretty good selection of Asian items including fresh produce, meat, snacks, sauces, spices, ingredients, rice, canned goods, refrigerated and frozen items, kitchen items, tea cups and pots.

Nice clean store with a great selection of items to make just about any Asian dish. Also, there is a small casual hot food counter with a very good selection of options that taste good at a decent price. It is a nice alternative to panda express.

So friendly. This place has all of our favorite treats from Korea.

Variety of products. The staff is always nice and they have restaurants inside as well. They sell live crabs. The facility us new and clean. They also have cooking classes.

Their staff was so incredibly nice. And I just found out they’re doing sushi and Thai food classes! (For around $9 or so) Ask them to get on the email list.They have so much stuff, and the place is so clean and well taken care of.

Awesome selection. They had stuff from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China etc. They also have a restaurant. The food there was pretty good. After 8:30pm the food is half off. Orange chicken got better as we ate. The spring roll wasnt that good, though it couldve been that it had been sitting for a long time. All in all a great place.

This Asian Market has a great selection of products from many different countries and regions. The store itself is clean and well organized. Items were clearly marked and prices were very reasonable. Despite it being pretty crowded, the lines moved quickly and the staff were courteous. We will visit again!

Biggest Asian Market in Utah County! Lots of options (though I still havent found a ramen Ive only found twice at the Asian markets in UT). Staff are pretty friendly though not very helpful in pointing where to find stuff.The food court is pretty delicious and the boba teas are decent.

Great groceries for what I think, are great prices! The staff here has always been super helpful and friendly here. Plus this store has one of my favorite boba tea restaurants inside! Im always recommending it to my friends.

This Is the closest Asian grocery store to my house in Utah County. I’m pretty happy with the selection of goods found in here. They have a whole isle just for Filipino grocery items which is great. If you are looking for the Filipino snacks though, it will be in the “snacks” section, not in the aisle labeled Filipino foods. To my surprise, they also carry Filipino ice cream, frozen fIlipino food, and some hard to find treats but those will vary depending on the time of year. They have a good selection of fresh Asian veggies too! AND they have a full tank of fresh live crab, waiting for you to pick and take home fresh! Too bad this is Utah so the live crabs are pretty pricey (sad face). To the left of the store they have ready-to-eat Chinese food which you can chose to eat there (they have a few tables to sit in) and they also have a boba drink place to order boba drinks and smoothies. Ate there once and the food was just ok. The boba drink I ordered from there is not great, you can get it better at other places.

They have a great selection of products here including a meat/ fish counter. They have a smaller section of produce then I would have hoped for but still a decent selection. They also have one of the largest selections of frozen fish cakes that I have ever seen.

With the overall lack of international grocery in Utah Valley, this store was a breath of fresh air. They had national staples from China, Japan, Philippines, India, Thailand, Vietnam, Polynesian nations to name a few. Fresh Cafe, meats, produce was limited but definitely specialized, frozen entrees, a thousand different rices, a million sauces, international cold drinks, candy, specialty ceramics. Overall clean, friendly, excellent price. I came for thai chillies, left with a lot more... Wife is happy 😀

This place has all the ingredients needed to make a killer dish from many cultures. We come here often to refill our bulk items and get the ingredients that cant be found in your average grocery store.The staff is very helpful when called upon for assistance. Weve always enjoyed looking through the snack and drink selection to try something new.

I go here regularly for peeled garlic and mint leaves, and also butter coconut biscuits. And bok choy, and random drinks, and various sauces, and definitely the vegan broth pellets. Theyre mushroom based broth that tastes better than any broth Ive tasted. My husband (who used to be in charge of half the menus at Sundance) loves it, and we use it all the time. I love this store so much--great prices on produce, and lots of products I love having access to that are hard to find after my experience living in Japan for two years.

We love the Asian market! There are so many cool things and unusual ingredients. The cashiers can be hit and miss as far as how friendly and outgoing they are, but theyre never rude. We also like going when they have Chinese New year and other celebrations to watch the lion dancers.

I love Asian markets and this one has quite a bit to offer! They have a small fast food type area where they serve different meals and I think they have boba too. They have many different spices, snacks, and knick knacks from all over Asia.

Found almost everything we were looking for. But with being in a land locked location they have a good selection.

We just found this Asian market. We really liked it. It had good variety and things seemed fresh and as Asian markets go it was fairly clean. We found everything we were looking for.

One of my go to place for groceries since the COVID pandemic. As an Asian grew up in Asia, my body is used to consume Asian stuff I guess 🤓They got fresh (Asian) vegetables, fresh meat and fish, and a lot of high quality imported products from China, Korea, Thai land, Japan, and other Asian countries. Prices are reasonable.

Always loving to shop here when I can (you see I hardly leave the house) and even if its a bit more pricey I love that its actually helping people and not big corps..... Aka Walmart.... Friendly service and amazing people :)

They have almost anything you could want. I got some great banana leaves for some kalua pig. They even have kewpie mayo.

We love asian market. They have lots of variety of products. It is clean and the ptoduce is nice. We love the boboa drinks. And we like picking something new to try. Its our favorite place to shop.

This is the second time Ive been here and I love it. If youre in need of anything to make proper Asian food, this should be your first stop. They have a huge assortment of spices, raw meats, rice, etc. and tons of those classic favorite snack foods. Theyre extremely helpful if you have any questions and will do their best to solve any problems. I will be revisiting this place frequently.

Good products, fairly wide varieties, prices are about what you would expect for a specialty store with occasional deals. Only complaint is that its sometimes hard to find a price, or a price doesnt match up with the product above it.

Asian cuisine express (takeout/restaurant) is no longer located here. Went here thinking it was. Not just from photos here but also their website and Facebook still portraying that. So was disappointed when we went in and saw Dominican food being served instead. Besides that ended up getting a few small item from grocery side. Prices are pretty high. But if you are needing a specialty item, probably worth it.

This place is decent as far as variety of products and all. One thing that I didnt like it was about their work ethics. I went and bought a cold on April 26, 2018. I noticed that the expiration date had been passed two days. Im not a picky guy and I didnt care that much since it was only two days passed from expiration date. So I ate it. I didnt have any problems and I wanted some more of that. Couple days later I went there again to buy it again. I noticed that there was same expired product was on the shelf. I thought the owner/manager didnt know about the product had expired. So I let a Chinese lady, who looked like a manager, know that it expired. She said she would take care of that. Few days later, I went there again, and the product hasnt been changed. That time, I told to one of the cashier about this matter. And I saw him talking to that manager looking Chinese lady about this. For the last time, I went there again (not to check to see if they had changed, but to buy something else) on May 7. And the product was still there with its same expiration date, and then I decided to write something about this.When you buy stuff here, make sure you check its expiration date.

They built a massive Asian store next to the local, smaller Korean store that has been here for 20 years knowing full well they will put the local store out of business. The smaller store has been forced to open longer hours and even on sundays which they were traditionally closed. It is hurting people in our community. Sure the Asian store may have a large selection, but in all honesty they are expensive. I avoid shopping here as much as I can (they do have the best Kimchi brand, however, Jongga) and support the Korean store, a staple of our city. Also, not sure what is up with the Hispanic restaurants inside of an Asian store when they used to be Asian restaurants.

Got lots of stuff from all over Asia. It had everything I needed to make some homemade Thai food. Also has utensils, bowls, plates, and on the side you can get fresh boba and amazing food!

Fantastic. Asian. You want a kind of rice? They got it. Need a type of leaf thats hard to pronounce? They sell it. They even have Asian dishes and brooms, straight off the streets. Would highly recommend.
