Things were a little slower than normal, I was told because of the conversion from paper to electronic files so I had to tell the first tech more of my history. Choosing my glasses went really fast. I worked with Amanda, and she was able to pull up all my specifics from last year in terms of transitions, etc., so she got me out the door pretty fast. She was great to work with!
The LensCrafters in Orland Park is wonderful. The staff and doctors are welcoming, nice and helpful.Today, I came back to have my new glasses adjusted to fit better. Kaitlyn (not sure of the spelling, sorry if it wrong) was so helpful and pleasant as she helped me.Thank you!
Came in to get my glasses fixed and Kaitlin helped me fix my glasses and help them not fall off my face. Very nice and friendly would come back every time for any help I need with vision or glasses repair. She was very nice and kind helped me so fast.

Visited the OP Lens Crafters last week for my yearly contact and glasses exam on the advice of a friend. I was pleasantly surprised with the customer service and the variety of frames. I loved the glasses on the sales person who was helping me and she totally made my experience great. She picked out some gorgeous options in terms of frames and the really broke down the different lenses for me because I had no idea what I needed. Lens crafters just couldnt get it right. My initial purchase of two pair of glasses were A okay. However I took my second pair of glasses back to the store to be sent sent out, to have Anti Reflective glare added to my lens. This was the beginning of the worst decision ever!!!! My glasses came back with glue trapped between the lenses and my frame was damaged. At first they didnt want to replace my frame and only said theyd redo the lens. After going inside the store they said ok just keep them well reorder both the lens and frame. At this point, I was satisfied, only to be disappointed again. I picked my NEW glasses up today only to be told that I cant have the new glasses unless I give them the bad messed up pair back. No one told me that I would have to return the old glasses. Poor business in my opinion, as well as bad communication. In addition to this, the NEW pair is very loud with creeky sounds when putting them on. I dont believe these are new frames, unless the adjustment was just done poorly. Bottom line, lens crafters is no longer my go to place for glasses. Id rather have the messed up frames back than to deal with these NEW frames. Lens Crafters has lost my business forever. So sad.

My glasses broke and went to this store to see if they could repair them. I was welcomed into the store as soon as I walked in. The store was busy, they asked how they could help me and I showed them my broken glasses. She told me it would be a few moments until someone was free to help but she invited me to look around and thoroughly explained their COVID protocols which made me feel safe. Within 5 minutes she came back, looked at my glasses and showed them to a guy that was working. They came back and told me they could not be fixed, the hinge was broken. Brian got me in immediately for an exam and I had a new pair of glasses a few hours later. Thank you to Deb, Brian and the doctor for understanding my emergency and helping me through what I thought was going to be a difficult experience. I wasn’t expecting to pay as much as I did but the service was well worth it and I love my new glasses and that I can see again.

The hours posted and the updated information posted on Google (last updated on Wednesday) the location is open until 8 pm. Brians approach was a bit unpleasant.He asked, how can I help you. My response, looking to buy glasses.He then says again with condescension, but how can I help you.He appeared as if one would help me because the location was closing at 7:30 pm even though it was 7:24 pm and all the posting shows the location closes at 8 pm.I refuse to spend money at a location that does not understand the value of a loyal customer.
I dont want to completely dump on Lens Crafters, but if a company sells glasses, shouldnt they also sell the maintenance kits for them???? Tonight, I was told this store at least, does not.If I am wrong, and I received bad information, PLEASE CORRECT me, the public and your staff.
Employees were very nice, they greeted me right away. I didn’t have to wait much for my appointment time. When I was done with my exam they checked me out for my products right away.

Bought a frame and had so many issues. Customer service is horrific. Manager always finds excused rather than fixing the issue. Would never go back here, and save yourself the trouble.

I was very pleased with my experience at Lenscrafters. It was a few years since I was at this location due to changing eye care plans. All of the exam procedures were explained and my questions were answered. There is large selection of frames at varying price ranges. The staff explained the differences and options. My eyeglasses were delivered on time and made to my prescription.

I have been a Lenscrafters customer for many years. After seeing Americas Best commercial, I went there the last time that I purchased glasses and had an eye examination. I regretted it and couldnt wait to return to Lenscrafters. Lenscrafters is the BEST!
Horrible service. Went there today around 12:15pm. I was sent there to have my sunglasses fixed which is where sunglasses hut had sent me. My husband also wanted to make an appointment at a later date. Upon arriving, I explained my situation to a lady at the front desk. She was very rude and rushed. Stating, Well we are so busy here! I cant even take down your name. You could just wait! I will NEVER come back to this establishment. I have worked in retail when I was younger and would have NEVER said that to a customer. LensCrafters, you need to train your staff on manners and professionalism.
I Do not recommend this place at all. Some employees cared while others dint. I was charged twice on the Contact Exam, I even showed them how they had taken the money out of my account. They kept saying everytime 5-10 business days then it when up to 12 that I would get it back. I never got my money back. They called to say I needed to contact my own bank account. They are over priced. I was misquoted the three times I went there. They gave me different prices on every visit I had.
Associate blamed my 11 year old for defect on one lens we were seeking to get replaced. (The other lens was fine.) She said the company did not guarantee their work, even though the coating on the inside of the lenses was beginning to bubble. She tried to tell us we would have to buy a pair of new lenses for $300! We went to another LensCrafters and got the lens replaced for $25!
Save your time and money very unprofessional and rude... unorganized poor people skills go elsewhere will be worth the trip..... you have been warned. ...

I looked at the previous reviews before making an appointment at the Orland Square location. Some were very negative, but I took a chance anyway and Im so glad I did. It started with the person who answered the phone when I made the appointment for 12/1/17. She was friendly and cordial. That was the first good sign. When I entered, I was greeted by Courtney (hope Im spelling that right.) I liked her right away. She was bubbly, but professional and took me through the preliminary exam. She explained with each step what she was doing and then introduced me to Dr. Emily Sarinas. There was no waiting. I went right in. Dr. Sarinas was knowledgeable and thorough, professional and friendly. She answered all my questions and patiently repeated things for me. Courtney selected some frame choices for me based on my prescription, hair color, etc. I picked some too. She took my picture wearing the frames so that I didnt have to try to figure out how I looked in new frames when I couldnt wear my glasses to see. We even got opinions from other employees. No one acted bothered to do this. In the end it was her first choice that I went with. This girl knows her stuff. This was a fantastic experience. Im glad I ignored the negative feedback.
They LOST my glasses, and never found them. I went there to have the color changed in the lenses of my sunglasses. Three weeks later they called me to say they lost the glasses, and would only partially compensate me because of depreciation. They only agreed to replace what they lost when I threatened a small claims lawsuit. Terrible customer service. Be prepared to be placed on hold for long periods, experience long delays, be forgotten about and argued with.

Went there for years with my family. Tolerated the high prices and slow service because the doctor was really great with my kids. Hes gone now, and they wouldnt tell us where he went. Wont be going back there again.
Damaged a pair of frames that I brought in for a simple repair. The Manager tried to make me believe that it was my fault. This place is all about numbers they dont care about the individual. Business as usual.

My Glasses were out of warranty but the manager inspected and realized that my glasses were in fact not scratched, something was wrong with the lens and they replaced them for me at no charge. Extremely satisfied.

Absolute horrible experience. Because of their clerical mistake, we were told we would have to wait 2 hours because they let 2 others go to the exam before us. Terrible customer service. Not surprised my review is not the only negative one. Not much but they lost 2 customers looking for exams and glasses.
Ordered glasses and they came with a part missing. They said they would order a new one and would call when it came. After two weeks we decided to call them and they said they called us which they never did. We came and the changed the glasses with the ones on display and scratched my glasses while doing it.

Horrible customer service, rude manager-first pie of glasses was ordered incorrectly by the staff there, second order was never put in until I called two weeks later, ultimately made me wait a month for over-prices glasses! My family will never be back.
