Dont know his name, but a younger 20 something guy working the deli on Monday evening was touching his face and hair with his gloved hands while taking orders, making a couple customers leave. He then refused to sell me chicken, saying were not selling it anymore tonight. There was so much of it in the display, cant imagine why they wouldnt want to sell it. My guess is he couldnt be bothered to bag it.

Have shopped here for many years now. Also have been getting our prescriptions in their pharmacy dept. (Osco) for many years. Staff are always friendly and helpful if you need to find something. Good sales and hard to find items also. We love our Jewel store.

My God this store is hell on earth. Produce is rotting on the shelves, meat (if you can find any) looks disgusting, insane organization (why on earth is toilet paper by cheese???), zombie employees, and it has literally BEEN ON FIRE on two occasions when we have been there!More examples of the “wonderful” Jewel:- we pulled 20 expired yogurts off the shelf before we could fine ONE that wasn’t expired (by months not days)- there was not a single employee over the age of 21 or a manager over the age of 21 that could ring out alcohol- on many occasions the baggers have asked me “do you need help bagging” when I’m done bagging my groceries because they were chatting with their friends- we were almost electrocuted by the freezers and a repairman stopped us at the last second. No Jewel employee around or even a sign to warn people they weren’t functioning- again, THE STORE WAS ON FIRE and the zombie employees were just shuffling about looking at their feet as usual as the store filled with smoke

I wish every Jewel around was like this location. Ultra, ultra clean. Fresh smelling, amazing team members from the front of the store to the back of the store. Makes me feel happy and safe shopping for all my grocery needs at this location.

I went through drive thru to pick up prescription. There were only 2 cars ahead of me. Pharmacy tech was very courteous and explained the process. I was thanked and felt appreciated as customer.

Experience was the same as any Jewel Store. Though i do want to share a concern about the quality of the plastic bags. They are not strong enough to hole heavy contents. May of my bags did not make it from store to car and then car to home.

Picking up more items for our Anniversary/ birthday celebration.

I am a resident in Orland Its been about 3 years now. I will no longer return to this jewels after the way I was treated by the Bakery Manager Steve. I requested to buy an edible image and I know they don’t sell them separate from the cakes so I stated I will buy a cake as well. “He stated we are in the cake business not edible image business” clearly I know that. Just being rude.. now let’s put the icing on the cake he had me pay for it before receiving it as if I was going to steal it… yes this jewels will not receive any of my money. I have never been treated that way before. It only takes one time for me. I talked to the store manager but it really didn’t seem like she cared.

I went to Jewel this morning to purchase fruit which was very fresh and then decided to stop at the Starbucks in the store and my experience was great! I asked the barista what I could do to make my medicine ball less tart and she suggested a few things. It ended up being GREAT! I hate that I can’t remember her name but she was very sweet and pleasant especially for it to been 7 am.

The cashier and bagger need to know how to properly bag items. Double bagging is essential for heavy items, such as cans, glass jars, and juice containers. My receipt shows that Mackenzie C. was our cashier and the bagger with her on 8/8/21 at around 12:43 pm did not bag my groceries securely. I live in an apartment complex and need to carry my groceries from my car and up three flights of steps. My boyfriend and I had multiple bags rip open as we were carrying them, damaging our cans and glass jars. Thankfully nothing completely broke open. However, this was a huge inconvenience and disappointing. Usually, they double bag heavier items, so this was very unexpected.

Holy cow!! This one is so much better than the one in Oak Lawn on 95th & polaski I normally go to. Clean. Well lit. Much BETTER selection. Why cant oak lawn use this one as an example to follow.

Pretty standard grocery store here. Not sure what to even write in a review but maybe if someone from the store reads this, my only problem is that theres never a bagger around when Im there. I always see a couple, but theyre always mostly talking and I usually end up either trying to help them bag faster or if they arent there Ill have to do it myself. I dont work at Jewel. Thats awkward for a customer. But otherwise, you got a pretty dope store

Great place to shop for your produce, can be a little pricey at times, I recommend you compare with other grocery store chains. But I shop here because of the quality of food is good and sometimes they have really good sales.

Great neighborhood store with decent selection. Meat department is a little lacking, with limited selection but no worse than a lot of other chains. Prices have been all over the place the past few months, but they are on the rise everywhere.... Just some of the increases seam really high relative to other items. Great bakery items. Definitely recommend for everyday items.

I will not judge buy one person but I waited a long time in deli then.I got a young man.he did everything in his power to move slow.the other young lady waited on 5 people and I had 3 meat 1/3 lbs each for that reason I will not wait 30 minutes for my meat.

Orland Park Bakery offers a wide variety of delicious deliciousness that I personally find delicious. (Okay, enough of that delicious stuff) Its good! Try a carrot cake. Unbelievably moist and delicious. (oops, I said delicious again.) Okay, are you starting to get the idea here. Oh, one more thing. That photo of the interior that looks like a ballroom dancefloor surrounded by pastries. It doesnt seem that big in real life. But maybe thats because its filled with people. (Pre-pandemic) Why would it be filled with people? All that delicious deliciousness, of course.

The jewel on 159th oak park Tinley park IL, I did not like the fact that went to get the steak for buy one get one free in the paper, but they said it was not for that it was for the things above not the steak but the sale price was on the shrimp and steak it was confusing. I am not happy with that. It make me not what to go back.

Stopped in to pickup a couple of things on my way to brothers house for dinner. They were very busy since it was a Friday, but I could not find the pepperoni and a very nice person stocking shelves stopped what he was doing and took me to the pepperoni on this odd end cap no where near the pizza ingredients. I thanked him for helping me, got checked out and on my way. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I absolutely love Jewel! Ive been a Target Team Leader for 11 years. And I still shop at Jewel. They have the best produce and other food selection! But the location in Orland Park Illinois. The customer service is beyond awful. Ive had multiple bad experiences and I have had enough. One thing Target is great at is service. We call them customers we call them guest. The Orland Park location could really use some help on how to treat people in retail. Im very disappointed on how Im treated and will have to go elsewhere. And that sucks. Get it together Orland Park!!

After trying to wait in a 25 car drive through line at Popeyes, I went home to contemplate where else to buy fried chicken. My wife suggested Jewels which we did. No line, great food, good service the portions were larger, very tasty and it was cheaper. What else can I say Im doing it again next time too

The bakery at Orland Park Jewel is the best! We usually order all our special occasion cakes from them and they look and taste great at a reasonable price. We made the mistake of trying a different bakery for our daughters baby shower and when that fell through Jewel saved the day with a beautiful cake with only 2 days notice. Will never order from anyone else again.(It was cheaper too)

This review reflect only the bathroom design, not the workers. The mens bathroom at the front of the store has NO privacy. There is a large slit located directly in front of the sink and mirror that looks at the center of the toilet. Very badly designed.

Great place to shop!!The Jewel at the Northeast corner of 159th St and 94th Ave is a good place to get your groceries. Probably close to a Gourmet Market, if theyre not classified as such already. They usually have good sales and promotions along with their nice deals and prices.They have a great selection of brands that most other stores like Walmart doesnt carry. They have great meat and seafood selections as well as a fantastic in house bakery and Kitchen.The Kitchen serves hot take home food, or you can choose to eat in store, they do have clean tables and chairs set for in store diners.Their hot bar also has a good selection of delicacies for a great meal, just as good as the deli kitchen​s fried chicken and other items.Well stocked shelves and very neat and orderly describes the rest of the store with its many values and deals.Ample parking day or night.
