In this day and time, single women have a difficult time finding honest mechanics. Forsyth Auto has done several diffferent repairs on my car and each time, they did excellent repair work and for a reasonable price. They are a business that has integrity and honesty. Omar took my car in for a repair on the tire rod and he suggested several other repairs. After explaining to him that I only had enough money for the one repair, I was charged for a second that he couldnt show proof of actually doing. I am happy that the tie rod is fixed but that is just nasty. I will not go back for anything else.

Amar did a fantastic job at repairing my Lexus ES 300! It was stumbling and acting like stalling, but only under certain conditions. He found the problem that the Lexus dealer “could not duplicate” when their technician looked for it. He test-drove the car 40 minutes to duplicate the exact conditions, found the problem and fixed it the same day. Let me drive my car 40 minutes so I’d be sure it is fixed right before I paid for the repair. Very reasonable prices with a highly knowledgeable, honest mechanics. My car drives wonderfully!

The owner is a good guy who is fair . He is a former electrical engineer by trade and an avid church goer who plays drums at his church which is also a yoga center. Great honest service and they do not rip you off. However you do have to be patient waiting because he is popular or easier simply drop off your car. I recommend this place to everyone. And you can talk to him about bringing your own parts if you get it cheaper elsewhere.

With their transparency and pricing theyve earned themselves a consistant customer and I would recommend them to anyone.

I have been taking my Honda Element to Forsyth Auto for about five years. In 2018, I moved to Orange City and still bring my car here for oil changes and any additional thing that I suspect needs attention. The staff are thorough and take the time to really look at my older engine because they care that I will be safe on the road. Consequently, I have 155,000 miles and my car should be good to use for another couple of years. Amar treats me and the others who come in like extended family.

Been here several times already since a co-worker of mine named Kris told me about this place. They have the best prices on doing an oil change which i had then do a couple of times this year and I had a new starter put my Mustang GT at a reasonable price along with a new battery as i was having trouble cranking my car here a few months ago. Most car mechanic shops will try to sell you stuff you dont need or over charge you on labor or even just straight up scam you into thinking you need a specific item fixed when in fact you do not. At Amars shop Forsyth Auto you dont need to worry about any of that. They are 100% legit and will only charge you for what they do. At Amars shop the staff are friendly and they definitely are very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend coming by if you need work done of any kind. Had received an estimate at a different shop for my car issue. $1,200. Didnt agree with the diagnosis so I decided to bring my car to Forsyth. The owner listened to my explanation of the issue and seemed to immediately know what the issue was. Fixed for $260. Very happy not only with the owners knowledge but was super friendly, and professional. Called a day after to make sure everything was ok. Could not be happier.

This place is fantastic! I have dropped my car off here 3 times for 3 different problems and I always come out satisfied. They can be at their busiest and they still somehow manage to find time for you on the spot. The owner always gives reasonable prices and tells you the problems like they are. This repair shop is the best. We have been coming here for over 15 years. The people are great and they work with you when it comes to pricing. I trust him with my vehicle.Recently, my car went bad. It had issues changing gears and electric, there was a bad noise and eventually the car wouldnt start anymore. I knew I had to change the starter and alternator but was quoted very high at the repair shop closest to me. I called Forsyth auto and Amar was so quick to help me out. I had my car towed there so he could look at it. Not only was I able to get the starter and alternator fixed at a reasonable price but I was also able to get my brakepads, oil change and transmission fixed. There is still more worked to be done to the vehicle. I was given good advice about what other problems I have with my vehicle and when to double check on those issues before my car gives out. Been visiting Amar at Forsyth Auto for years. Hes honest, fair, and quick. First time I went to him, he took the time to actually show me what was wrong with the car. Been returning ever since. Ive sent many friends to him over the years, and hes always been good to them, too.I just picked up my car from his shop yesterday, after having him redo my power steering assembly and replacing the alternator. Car drives better than when I got it.

WARNING if you drive an Europe or Asian import. I went there for Timing belt replacement on a VW, by assuring me he is doing it all the time. But what a liar all screws and corresponding connection he touch where stripped. This is the result by not having metric tools. He damage the brand new serpentine belt pulley and new screws it cannot be attached to the Car anymore. It needs costly repairs on my Car. I am losing the Serpentine belt (jumping off) by driving.Also he damage the Camshaft sensor, could not start the Car until i glued the sensor together. Furthermore he broke the lid of the power steering wheel container extreme tied cannot open. He is not an Auto-mechanic; he is a liar shoemaker in my view. 07.10.2018

I went in on a quote I got over phone for $325 and once you show up as a female who doesnt know much about vehicles, you are made to believe all this other stuff need to be done to scare you and before I knew it bill was over $600 far more then even the final amount quoted.. My suggestion, take a man with you if you dont know much about cars..

Amar is wonderful. He will work with you on figuring out what is immediately necessary and what can wait. If he tells you something is broken, it is actually broken, hes not trying to drive up the price. I try to do most of my minor repairs myself to save money, but it isnt that much more expensive to take it to him and save myself a weekend of struggling.

The owners customer service was great, he kept in contact with me while my car was getting fixed. I had my car towed there because it needed a new radiator so he replaced my radiator and hoses that day. Less than 24 hours later my car started over heating again and turn out something broke connected to the radiator. SO i had to take my car back, get it fixed which cost me more money, then the day after i got it back my check engine light came on. SO ends up now i new new thermostats for the radiator. While i think he is a good guy because of how he handled the situation, i wish they would of recommended these things be fixed or replaced when you have to install a new radiator. it would of saved me a whole week of car problems. Not sure if this was just a weird coincidence or they were wanting to make more money off me.

Gave me a great price and fit me in without an appointment

I was driving to Orlando from South Carolina on business and my car began to overheat as I was approaching my hotel. I was able to park and could tell that my cooling system was leaking. Not knowing anyone in the area and being a little leery of what the dealership would end up charging me, my wife (who was very interested in making sure that I made it home) began looking for recommendations from friends on Facebook and looking at online reviews. She saw the high Google rating for Forsyth Auto and Radiator Repair and called them to get a feel.She talked with Amar and immediately felt very comfortable that he understood the situation (being from out of town) and that he would be fair and do what was necessary to get me home safely. I had the car towed from my hotel and paid for extra mileage to have it taken there. Amar called me several times during the process to let me know where things stood. He called me when he received the car, called me when he had diagnosed the problem, called me when it was ready, and even called me the next day to make sure that I got home safely.When he called me about the problem, he explained what he saw and how he diagnosed the problem (cracked water pump). He told me what needed to be replaced, and he recommended that we replace the belts and hoses since it would just be the cost of the parts since he was already in there. He gave me an estimate and everything seemed fair.He received the car at closing time on Monday (stayed open a little later to receive the car), checked it first thing Tuesday morning, and had the repairs completed Tuesday afternoon. I actually picked the car up Wednesday morning when I was scheduled to leave.When I arrived, he had the car pulled around and then went about showing me what he removed from the car and showing me the condition of the belts and hoses he removed. He then walked me through what he replaced on the car pointing each thing out to me. He also had one of the mechanics check all of the fluid levels while I was there just to make sure that I knew that everything was in good working order. He said something like, I like to show every customer what we did and recheck everything with them watching, just because that is the way we do things here. Very impressive. The final cost was within $10 of the quote he gave me over the phone.I have heard people say before that you need a couple of really honest people in your life. You need an honest spouse, an honest boss, an honest doctor, and an honest mechanic. When travelling to another city, you naturally become worried if you have to seek out a doctor or a mechanic that you dont know. This would have been the perfect opportunity for a dishonest mechanic to take advantage of me. My safe return home was in his hands, and I did not have a lot of options or leverage. Amar not only took care of my car, but gave a sense of reassurance to my wife that I was in good hands. He was right.For anyone in the Orlando area (or another unfortunate traveler like me) that needs an honest, fair, and transparent mechanic, I highly recommend Amar and his team at Forsyth Auto and Radiator Repair. Let me start out by saying Im not the type of person to take the time to post reviews, however I felt the service I received at this repair shop was WAY above my expectations.On Friday the 13th(how ironic) my radiator blew. And as a self supporting college student, I was hoping for the best when I took my Jeep into Pepboys for a qoute. The $1400 they quoted me wasnt possible, so with whatever little hope I had to get this problem fixed, I searched for a radiator shop and came across Forsyth Auto & Radiator repair.From the first time Amar picked up the phone I knew I had found the right place. The man is not only a very knowledgable mechanic, but he is also a people person with outstanding customer service. He took the time to listen to what was wrong with my car, asked specific questions, and than promised to call me back shortly with an estimate for a new radiator.He called back 5 minutes later, again confirming the right radiator for my specific vehicle, with a qoute that was less than half of what Pepboys quoted me!To put the icing on the cake, he told me to get out of that PepBoys and gave me step by step directions on the quickest route to get my nearly overheating jeep to his auto shop. Leaving my keys with Amar was worry free. Today I went to go pickup my jeep(on a Saturday!) and it runs great. He showed me everything he fixed and why.
