This is hands down the best auto shop in Orlando if not all of Florida! Seriously the guys here are incredibly honest and hard working. I was looking at a huge repair bill at 2 other places, then I took it to Auto Tender and they were able to do the same job for half and they finished in a fraction of the time I was quoted. I would happily drive across the state to bring my vehicles here in the future.

I recently took my 02 Mustang GT convertibel for service there because my front brakes were locking up. They properly figured out the problem and fixed the issue. They did not overcharge me or add not needed items. I was kept informed by Nick and Guy and everything went well. I have used them in the past but at their old location on 436 and 50. However the first time I used them is when they were starting out at the corner of Old Cheney Highway and Hwy #50. The worked on my 1977 Firebird. Thank you

Nick at Auto Tender is incredible -- professional, honest, fair. Took my UCF daughters new-to-her Honda CR-Z in for work (ever heard of a CR-Z? Not many people have, but Nick had), and got new shocks, struts, and brake pads. But we also had an issue with the Airbag System warning light that stayed on, and Nick was on a mission to find out why. Its a common issue with this model, but even when the usual suspects did not pan out, Nick didnt give up until it was resolved. Auto Tender is now her/our go-to shop, hands down!

I saw recommendations for Auto Tender from UCF FB parent groups. My daughter had a brake system light on and also needed an oil change. I happen to be in Orlando on business and wanted to get her car looked at while I was in town. I called to schedule a drop off, i was told no problem and to pre-fill the online form so when we arrive they have the details.We arrived, they had my details, took my keys and it was that easy!Auto Tender was very accommodating to my limited time line, very professional, communicated with me to keep me posted on any concerns, most importantly very honest and reliable service. The brake system issue was just low brake fluid that they topped off while doing oil change. In additional recommended some areas to address in the near future. Thank you!!!

Steering wheel was tilted to the right because I hit a curb, went to get a wheel alignment here and now it tilts to the left.They were nice though.I don’t know much about cars but a friend informed me I should’ve been given more details about the adjustment.

They did a good job at converting my Grand Marquis faulty air suspension system to a coil spring one. My only gripe is with how the car smelled when I picked it up. Im not sure if someone was smoking inside of it or what. It was pretty bad... It also looked like someone was using the back seat for something since I found some dirt/grease in there.

I am very please to write a review about Auto tender. I have used for a numbers of year there services since they first open on Colonial and 436. Guy, his son and the staff exceed all expectation. There knowledge, professionalism and prices are excellent. I am always sure that the services receiving on my cars will always be the best and will not have that same issue any more once the car has been repaired. This place has the best service of any auto shop that I’ve taken my Honda Accord to in Orlando! I called in the middle of weekday and they were able to take my car right away. For COVID, everything was done over the phone which was convenient and made everything faster. My AC had a leak and they quickly diagnosed it and told me what they would do and what it would cost. I felt like the price was reasonable and if anything, a good deal.Auto Tender is fast, reliable, and trustworthy. I’ll definitely be going to them the next time I need my car looked at.

Easily the best and most honest place to take your vehicle for repair and upkeep in Orlando. What else could you ask for at an auto repair shop than a bunch of honest, hardworking experts?I made the mistake of going somewhere else first. Some places you just can’t take your car in for an oil change without hearing of hundreds or thousands of dollars in extra phantom issues that didn’t exist before.At Auto Tender they’re not trying to nickel and dime anyone and they actually care about their customers, contrary to the cookie-cutter auto chains out there. And they do excellent work!My advice: get it right the first time and don’t take your vehicles anywhere else.

Ive been dealing with these people for over 20 years. I met them because the mechanic that worked on my car for years had my car for a week killed my battery. They couldnt find the problem, I said what am I supposed to do now. they told me to take it to the dealer or theres this place called autotender theyre really good with electrical. Had the car towed there. The day after I get a phone call to come pick up my car. I said is it running, yes how much $150. I was expecting something outrageous. These guys are absolutely amazing! My daughter and son-in-law fell on hard times and borrowed our car. Our car went down and we received very high quotes to fix it. We had our car towed here and their prices were great! They worked with us and did a great job. When we had to bring the car if for a different issue we had the same amazing service! These guys are trustworthy and amazing and I will only take my vehicles to them.

I originally found out about this business through a UCF Facebook group and I took my car in the other day to check the engine light and they ran a diagnostic on it for free and filled more air in my tires! Plus, they were friendly and organized. These guys are professional and their true purpose is to help people by fixing car troubles! I would highly recommend this business to individuals in the Orlando area and will be sure to return back if anything needed on my car!

I love these guys! I moved here from New England and had a car that had the rust damage to prove it. Nick went above and beyond to make sure my car was always safe to drive and was honest with me about when it was time to get rid of my car. Took my car here for a walk in oil change and I was out in only 40 minutes. They also did an inspection to make sure everything else is working well and it ended up saving me thousands of dollars after the Toyota dealership told me I needed dozens of things on my car fixed. Nice cozy waiting area with bathrooms and water, and theres a park right across the street if you want to take a walk while youre waiting as well. Definitely will be coming here for any future car service needs

In my opinion, this is the best auto repair shop in Orlando, period! I am an engineer and a car guy who keeps cars for a long time. I have been a repeat customer for over 14 years. These two brothers (Guy and Nick Lopez) operate a family owned business that does OUTSTANDING work! Completely professional! I have always been treated fairly and honestly. Over the years they have done the tune ups and replaced several major items (water pump, transmission, brakes, shocks, alternator, power steering hose, radiator hose) on my 2002 Jeep and my wifes 1999 Chrysler Town and Country mini van. Both cars STILL run great at over 150K and 198K miles, respectively. Also, when something minor like a connection to the radiator fan came loose on the mini van, they diagnosed it in 5 mins -- and plugged it back in at no charge!Highly recommended -- a shop you can trust! A+++

Fair pricing and great customer service!

My daughter is away for school and her car had been acting up. She took it to the dealer which charged her a few hundred dollars and found nothing. The noise was getting worse and took it here. They diagnosed the problem quickly realizing it was a minor repair. They fixed it and did not charge her. I am grateful for this place in helping my daughter and not ripping her off. She will now only go to them.

I was being quoted more than needed to be for an issue that was not even irrelevant with the issue and customer service was not great.

These guys are awesome, only mechanic I will go to for my 5 vehicles. They are very trustworthy, Nick and Guy are the best Father and Son tandem in Orlando. These guys will charge you $90 for diagnostics but will just add it to the cost of fixing it. Had an issue with my AC on my 1996 Ford Aerostar, took it first else where and they wanted over $1,000 to fix it. I brought it to them and got it fix for a $28 part. AWESOME!!!

Good work and honest. I do most of my own work. When I dont have time I bring it here because, unlike most mechanics, they arent crooked liars. On top of that theyve helped me out with advice more than a few times.

My son is 20 and knows nothing about cars. When his was stalling after it started we needed somewhere honest to tell us what was wrong. Guy and Nick fixed it quick and easy! They are easy to work with and not only fixed what was wrong they inspected the whole car to make sure he is safe to drive the 40 minute hellish traffic of Orlando to his internship. My son wouldnt go anywhere else.

I have been going back and forth with a company that fixed my brakes for the last 4 months with a noise that continued over that span of time. They said they looked and checked everything but couldn’t find the issue. I gave Auto tender a call after doing some searching for a mechanic. Nick was my point of contact. I explained my issue and he told me to bring it in. Took my car this morning and Nick gave me a call and said the company had a part backwards which is why my brakes continued to make the noise, he put the part in the correct position and the noise was gone. Holy Grail for Auto Tenders. I think i just found my new mechanic. Thank you Auto Tenders. I’ll be in with donuts tomorrow because I am so grateful!

I took my 2002 Honda Civic Si to Auto-Tender to remove a piece off my old suspensions after having taken my car to other mechanics who refused to do the work. Not only did they do it in a professional and timely manner...I feel the difference in my car. A great difference.I strongly recommend Auto-Tender.

My daughter is away at college and her car starting going up to 3rpm’s and wasn’t shifting properly.Her battery was also dead. We did some research and. Saw Tender auto had some pretty great reviews and was also recommended on a ucf parent group.So, we had her car towed there and the man we worked with Nick was an absolute pleasure and we were so happy we learned immediately he was not a dishonest mechanic. He told us our battery should be under warranty and then asked for any number that may be tied to this battery so we have him four phone numbers that it may have been u see at auto zone. In my opinion most mechanics wouldn’t take the time to do that.He also found my daughter was a quart and a half in transmission fluid. He took care of that and said she had some moisture at her pan but wasn’t extremely conc. Again, I thought for sure he would tell me it was the gasket in the transmission or at least tell me the pan needed to be replaced, but nope he was honest.Ty Nick for giving me hope in such a dark world we are living in. I am in Iowa and my daughter is at UCF. I hate having the car somewhere that I cannot verify what is wrong, because I think most auto places make up fictional repairs. I told my daughter to go to Auto Tender based on the online reviews. With the first visit I was sold by their honesty, quality, and price. She has now taken the car to Auto Tender several times. Each time, their diagnosis was accurate and the bill was less than expected. I would recommend them to anyone.

They were awesome. I just got a 700 dollar quote from tires plus for 2 tires and an alligment. Turns out after going to Auto Tender the price I got was actually 370. They offered great customer service. I highly suggest them for anything auto related.

I was in a bind and the mechanic went out of his way to help me out. I asked for my Engine Code to be read which was a hassle to begin with because I drive an old 1995 Camaro, but after giving me the code he looked under the hood and helped me locate the wiring problem and re-crimped my water sensor wires together. He did me a huge favor and I will be bringing my car back with any future problems, this is my first semester at UCF and I am new to the area so to find good trustworthy mechanics is a real blessing!

I thought I had a starter issue so I got the car towed to auto tender. They jumped my car and told me it was a battery issue. I told them I had a free warranty with wal mart and they didnt charge me a penny when they could have charged me the diagnostic fee. These guys seem very trustworthy and Ill definitely be back for auto maintenance.

I went for a transmission oil leak. (gasket needed to be replaced). They did everything in time. I asked them many questions and they were happy to explain. $95 for the whole thing was a bit too much but then there is a reason jobs are moving out of this country :).

Best mechanic in orlando

I stupidly backed over a pipe in the yard, causing my muffler to detach from my car. Panicking, I cautiously drove the car to Auto Tender and explained what happened. It turned out an attachment fell off. They reattached the muffler and surveyed the other damage (which turned out to be non-critical), and sent me on my way with no charge. (I even tried to pay them and they refused.)Its so hard to find an auto repair place you can trust, but Auto Tender is a friendly and honest business, and I will gladly return there when the need arises.

Service here is ok, they have a service charge of $90 just to get your car back at the end?? I mean that seems a bit steep but ok place.

LOVE THIS PLACE!I have actually been meaning to write this review for awhile but I am always so busy. The first time I went to auto tender it was just a quick and easy oil change. Since my parents were religious dealership people I knew my Camaro oil change was close to $140 dollars since it uses synthetic. Wait for it not only did I wait 1/2 the time as a dealer but the oil change was only $120. The team that actually worked on my car also was kind enough to let me listen to my car and tell me I needed another repair and even told me what the sound was. No pushy sales kick, no weird service specialist calling you to the podium... the person who actually did my oil change was talking to me.Since that first visit I have been back several times. Major and minor repairs are easy to handle and the team actually fixes the problem. I recently was in (3 weeks ago) because I had no oil pressure and my gauge was reading zero. Called the dealer and got a quote since I had been to auto tender I thoughts lets just see how good they are... Dealer said I need a new pump and a new oil sender etc and the bill was $600 plus labor. I then took it to auto tender and they diagnosed just an oil sender and 3-4 hours later and only $375 my oil pressure was back to normal.Iam sold on this place and love the small shop feel and how they treat you with the honest truth about your vehicle and do not try and sell you services that you do not need. I could go to a dealer 15-20 minutes from my house but instead I actually drive 45 minutes across town just to visit.Like I said earlier i LOVE THIS PLACE!! and will continue to take my vehicle there as long as they are open!

STEER YOUR VEHICLE IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION!Nothing tender about it. More like a rubbery steak that I had to chew on for 16 days.I had called in advance to set up an appointment. When I arrive, there is one guest in front of me talking with an employee. Two other employees behind the desk were talking. I’m waiting. Am I greeted? Nope.Once Im helped, I explain the problems that I would like fixed. I’m estimating that I had at least $2000 (if not more) of work to be done. All minor, but a lot of age-related service repairs. I was told to write it down. Seriously? Shouldn’t you be the one to write it down? This is your business. Not mine.I should have turned around and walked out at that point, but based on all the glowing (if real) Google reviews, I decided to give them a chance.I’m told I would receive a call in two days with an estimate because they were really busy. 2 days go by, 3 days go by. I call for an update. “We’re still accessing the repairs for your estimate.”2 more days go by, 3 days, I call again, “We should have the parts ordered in a few more days.”It’s now been 6 days, I haven’t even been called with an estimate yet. This back and forth continues without a single phone call from them, for a total of 11 DAYS! Alway’s the same response, same excuse, rinse, repeat.I decided enough is enough and came to pick up my vehicle. I noticed it wasn’t even in the shop. It was parked out back. Had they even worked on it at all these past 11 days? I walked in, and again I wasn’t acknowledged or greeted. Finally I got an employee’s attention and nicely told him I wanted my vehicle back because this situation was not working for me. Their response was like a deer in the headlights. In a robotic monotone voice, I got the same excuse: “We are really busy and have to special order the parts.” I explained nicely about my disdain for the 11 days of excuses. Was I apologized to? Nope. Was I given the same excuse? Yes. BLAH, BLAH, BLAH. Boring… I know, right?At this point, I went outside to get in my vehicle, thinking I was finally done with this place. LOL! I wish! My LEFT SIDE DRIVER’S MIRROR WAS COMPLETELY GONE! Was Auto Tender actually thinking I wouldn’t notice this? I walk back into the shop and asked what happened. “It was broken off when we put the vehicle on the lift.” My response, “so were you not going to tell me this?” Their response, “We will be happy to order you a replacement.” My response, “Why have you not already ordered the replacement of my mirror since you’ve had my vehicle for 11 days and you’ve obviously been aware of it.” “Oh, I guess we forgot. We are really busy.” Seriously?I stood there waiting for the employee to locate my broken mirror, then write the order for a new one. To give them credit, they did pay for the mirror free of charge.Really Auto Tender? You FORGOT? So now I had to wait another 5 days to pick up the replacement mirror that you broke, and failed to mention to me. “Is this really happening?” I was thinking. “Am I in an episode of the Twilight Zone?” It’s so moronic, it’s comical.TOTAL TIME OUT OF MY LIFE THAT I SPENT WITH THIS BUSINESS WAS 16 DAYS. Was my vehicle ever serviced or repaired? Nope, nothing done. Since you were “waiting on the parts” perhaps you could have been working on the other items I needed serviced that didn’t require “the parts” like an oil change, tune-up, checking the brakes, etc. Was I ever called with an estimate or update? Nope, not once.So long Auto Tender! Finally, I’m done with you! You had so many missed opportunities to make it right with me. You had the opportunity to gain a loyal customer for life as well as my friends, family, and client referrals. Yes, Auto Tender, I’m in the customer service business myself, with a very large client base. But alas, my new mechanic will be enjoying all of the financial benefits from me, and my referrals, for years to come. They know how to embrace an opportunity! (and how to order parts)
