This is my favorite Ace even though it is not the closest. The staff is very knowledgeable, kind and helpful. They will always help you to find what you need without upselling you. I went in to buy a Yeti today and left with a lighter higher capacity Igloo that will more than meet my needs for $80 instead of $200. He took the time to help me add weight to both coolers and see how it felt to carry them and was so kind to my kids. The personalized service is amazing!

First time shopping here. I needed a glass replacement for a frame and called Ace to ask if they did custom cuts and they did!! I spoke to Brian and he was great. Matter of fact, all the workers we encountered were very friendly and willing to offer their assistance. Thank you so much for providing great customer service!

Biggest ace hardware store i have visited and the staff was atrocious, no one cared to help and when they heard the displeasure in my voice they all ran away and ignored me. Im not used to this type of service from ace seeing in how I shop regularly for Handyman work. Well I will make sure to steer clear of this place in the future. All you handy men, plumbers, electricians stay away from the poor service here, what a shame for the Ace name.

Small store, very small congested parking lot. Overall decent place. They normally have what I need and my visits are fast and easy. I shop the big box stores when Im not in a hurry.

My first time there. The girl at the cash register was very nice and friendly and helpful but the guy that assisted me with my purchases to the car was very nice but he had no idea the price of anything outside the store. I didnt have time to go in and ask about prices of things at that time. I was interested in the pavers and plants but there was no prices on anything. I will go in there again so maybe next time things will be priced.

Great store. Id rather shop at ACE than the big box stores.

I come to this store almost every week for something given the proximity to my house, but I just realized that they have raised all of their prices by at least 25% for just about everything in the store and the price tags on the shelves aren’t remotely accurate. 43 cents for a PVC elbow? Now it’s 69 cents. Ace was already more expensive than the big box stores but I justified it because of the convenience, however this will be my last trip here until they fix their prices. I should have asked the cashier to honor the price on the shelf tags but now that I realize everything is wrong I just won’t come back.

The thing they didnt have.... It seems that finding out they dont have something in stock without asking of course, because I like these kinda stores, takes quite a while when one item can be found in three or four places. Grrr when one after the other is more nothing. But I do love just looking around at the gadgets and tools and stuff stuff and more stuff.

Great for hard to find items they had only one item that I went to Lowes first and they didnt have what I needed.

Was looking for some nuts and washers to replace on roller skates and they had what I needed and a helpful associate to find it for me.

I was in dire need of solving a hardware problem for my used microphone adapter and would have had to spend $20 on just one part due to a missing washer! The staff here helped me find a solution as soon as I walked in the door! They were very patient and experts at finding what i needed to solve for this problem! Im giving 2 stars because I had a nice gentlemen help me find 12 bolts that I needed. However, the girls at the cashier line are really rude, especially Madison. I was rung up for over 200 dollars for bolts and cleaning supplies!!! I told her that was wrong and she rings me up for $90 total and said that was wrong too...she does not know how to do math. Beware! And check your reciepts.

We had an opportunity to set up a fundraising table today to raise money and awareness for people and families who struggle with addiction. I even went to a Lowes and an ace hardware at another location and they werent unable to help me with the color I need it. I called ace hardware on orange avenue and Denise was able to find exactly what I was looking for within minutes. Thank you!!

This 2218 S Orange store has to be the rudest Ace in Orlando. I went to my local Maitland Ace store to pick up Diatomaceous Earth 4 lb bag the website showed they had 1 in stock, it took 3 people 10 min to search the entire store but they were unable to find it and offered to bring one from 2218 Orlando store by next day. Since the store is 25 min away I decided to just drive there myself and buy it the same day. Once I got to the store I showed an employee a picture and asked him where I could find this product, the immediate response was we don’t carry it and he walked away . I followed him stating that I just came back from another store and they said you had 6 of them in stock. He said how could another store know what we have in stock and insisted yet again that they don’t have it and walked away again. I decided to just look for it myself and found all 6 of them sitting on the shelf. I picked up a bag and found the employee to showed him that here it is and you do have it in stock. I went to the register to check out and 2 girls were just standing talking and finally decided to check me out. No hi, no bye ... they basically gave me a huge favor by checking me out. This store needs new management and all new staff!!

This Ace store is always a pleasure to shop at. It is clean, well stocked, and well staffed. Further, the staff is friendly, and most important, knowledgeable. The parking lot is in back and fairly tight, but it is still far more convenient and enjoyable than going to a big box store. Poor parking is the trade-off of having a store so close to downtown, and for those of us who live close, it is a huge convenience. And despite the limited parking, the store itself is large and the only thing missing from other stores is full lawnmower repair. Fortunately the Conway store is not far and can handle these jobs.

I was on a mission To find the perfect color to paint my new apartment and I stopped by this location. Rodger took one look at a photo of my living room and instantly knew what colors to throw at me. He was one of the greatest employees Ive ever came across at any store. He got me completely ready with everything I need at a great price. He had my best interest in mind and many people stopped by to see him in the 10 mins I was there and let me know just how great of hands I was in. Go see Rodger for all your paint needs!!

I shop at a lot of different Ace Hardware stores. This one is my favorite one to shop at in the country. You get the same excellent service, whether you are there to buy $1000.00 worth of Stihl equipment or someone takes 10 minutes of their time to help you locate a 20 cent bolt. This is a very well managed and staffed store. The inventory has a great selection, even the fishing section is nice and rotates stock regularly.A military discount is offered ( Some Aces dont do this) The staff has too many stars to try and list them but they all seem to go above and beyond.

They have nearly everything. I could wander the aisles for a while.

If you need hardware essentials urgently and are close to downtown, this is your best bet. However, if you can make it out to a larger hardware store Id recommend doing so. The prices at this location are high. The staff are mostly helpful and knowledgeable, but Ive had some rather unfriendly encounters too. The store is well laid out and has a good stock of most small bits and pieces. They even have a small garden section with a selection of mulches, soils, etc. Their fishing section (which includes live bait) is very good. Overall, useful if you need something in a hurry, but too pricey for day to day use.

We were amazed by the assistance we received from Ace Hardware this morning in preparation of Hurricane Dorian! I called more than 10 local hardware stores desperately looking for a generator yesterday, and Ace Hardware was the only store to kindly tell me when the next shipment was coming in AND let me come in and prepay for one. The generator wouldn’t fit in our car, and the staff immediately volunteered to follow us and bring it in a truck.
