Best place for the biggest variety of hair products, hair extensions, hair jewelry, scrunchies, you name it... 🙋🏽‍♀️

The people were very helpful. They had wigs, all types of hair (human and synthetic) and other hair products. I like a store with good customer service and they were definitely nice to me. Consequently, I will buy from them again.

A lot of supplies to offer. However, the staff here is 👎🏾. One of the ladies (Asian) kept watching my friend and I as if we’re thieves. Also, when we were checking out, the lady kept asking if she wanted her to stop scanning (AS IF WE DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO PURCHASE OVER A $100 worth of items). I felt judged and weird after that. There is only one nice lady and a man who may be the owner. They should fire the other Asian lady with the short hair. They know black people are the main people shopping there so why even bother to mess that up? Guys please find another store or shop online at a BLACK OWNED BUSINESS.

The ladies are super helpful. Always ask about my mom. And are willing to help out. Now you might see some reciews talking about them watching out. These ladies at the stores has had countless of customers rob them.Once my mother and i went to the store and this girl was demanding a lower price because she couldnt afford the wig and needed to pay light... when the store clerk decline. The girl started knocking down shelves and tried to run with the wig, in which a man had to stop her and throw her out the store. Again its not their fault, if ppl cant conduct themselves and act like customers instead of zoo animals, maybe they wouldnt have to keep an eye. And they are super kind and joke with you, especially once they build that relationship. Recommend 10/10

I moved to the area a few month ago. I first went into this store and had an ok experience the ladies was nice enough. Today I went in to purchase a lace front. I asked about any sales they might be running she immediately said no. I asked in her opinion what was the best synthetic hair company she had ordered from, her response was no. Through her very broken English she says I know but I wont tell you that all the same. I informed her that for 30 years I had delt with hair wig companies and I just wanted to know the best brand she carried. Ladies do yourself a favor shop somewhere that has a little knowledge of their product, and not somewhere that just wants your money.

It is annoying to have the store employees ask every 5 min if you need help. Or watch your every move while you look at the wigs as if youre a theif. Then have a sign that say no touching the wig they have to remain in good condition. Which makes no sense! If the wig is for display you should have brand new ones for purchase in the back. We the consumer would like to feel the quality of the hair. I was so turned off I just got a bottle of gel and left. Looks like Ill continue driving on the West side to buy hair. Atleast I will have a variety to chose from, better pricing, and no harassment!!! They will not be getting my business ever again!!

WORST PLACE IVE BEEN TO. I was charged for two items and they weren’t placed in the bag. Came back and they refused to check the cameras or at least look at my proof of payment for the items they charged me for but never gave. Never coming again

I use to enjoy going to this store when they had the caucasian women at the register. She was friendly and knew her products. Since shes not there, Horrible customer service. Ive stopped going. Rather drive to the west side.

They have a wide range of hair and beauty products. The store however is noticeably empty of customers everytime I visit. It is the only one within miles so they need to advertise. Prices are a bit high however compared with online shopping.

Decent prices. The women at the front come off suspicious. Older asian woman is very rude. The store is good in a pinch but average. Younger asian women who work there are helpful.

I dont usually leave reviews, but I cant stay silent on this one. Ladies, save your coins. I have been to this store about 4 or 5 times because its conveniently located near my house, and EVERY visit has been horrible. I will gladly drive across Orlando to Beauty Exchange because the customer service here is terrible. Literally, everytime the store clerks have an attitude. They are snappy. Rude. One time I was refused to try on a wig even though I was willing to purchase a wig cap. Im not paying for a wig unless I know how its going to look on me. Im constantly being stared at as though Im trying to steal something. The wigs are overpriced, as well as hair products. Today was it for me. I wasnt allowed to come in because I didnt have a face mask, and the clerk was again rude. Meanwhile, she had a shield that looked like helmet. Im not sure how thats protects anyone from an airborne virus. This is definitely not the way to have a successful, profitable business. I will not be coming back again.

The prices are a little higher for the quality received. The sales clerk made me feel pressured to buy a wig I wasnt completely sure on and she made me feel very uncomfortable. I havent been back.

This store is my go-to local beauty store . I rate it 5 out 5 stars ⭐️. I myself have referred a few people here. All the staff here are friendly. Especially Monica. Monica always helps me by suggesting products, that sell well in the store Or even products that she personally uses. I’ve even been there before and she didn’t have a product that I asked for and she took a picture of The picture I had on my phone and promised to order it after inquiring about it . Not even knowing if the product would sell well or not . I been there numerous of times and never left a review, but today once again customer service from Monica was Phenomenal ! Thank you for the samples - 😊 it’s time people know that East Orlando Beauty Supply is the best !

Went into this store the other day. VERY RUDE, follows you around in the store. They won’t let you touch the wigs. How will you know if you want to purchase a wig if you can feel the product? Also I had intentions on purchasing two of the wigs. She told me I couldn’t touch the wigs I said oh no I’m leaving here she goes to say Good and thank you. RUDE RUDE RUDE!I’m only giving them one star because we know you can’t give “no stars”I will not be returning, not worth your money and time. They have a hand written sign that says 3 people limit and you have to wear a mask. When I cracked the door to ask how many were in there already she said 4 and I had to wait outside until we could go in. It was my sisters and I, which was 4 of us. She rudely said we couldn’t all go in because we were 4... I told her I got it, I understood your sign. As we are looking around looking for the hair edges brush one of them is just hovering over my sisters like if they were going to steal ! They’re little girls! Then they wanted a pair of sunglasses and they’re trying them on but they didn’t have a mirror so like anyone would probably do they were using their phone cameras to see how they looked, and the rude lady says no pictures in here . Thanks for making my little sister upset for a worthless “picture”. Not worth giving them our business which is unfortunate because they have a variety of things but people who don’t appreciate their customers shouldn’t be valued ..

The lady on the phone was rude did not want yo help me she said i dont give price over the phone and im like because of covid 19 i dont wanna spend a long time in the store. Very nice and helpful staff. The cashier went out of her way to help point out a product at a better price, which was same quality as item purchasing. Pretty good selection, wide array of items including wigs, weave hair, hair products, jewelry, shoes, makeup etc.

This place is ok, but little more expensive than the beauty supply stores in west orlando. If I really need something i will go ahead and purchase it from here. They have a good amount of hair to chose from. I dont like the idea that youre not allowed to touch the wigs because the feel of the hair is just as important when it comes to the purchase. With that being said, i would never buy a wig from here. They are always nice to me when Im there and always very helpful.

Did not like how the associate only allowed you to try on only 3 wigs. Felt a little profile-ish. She modified her interaction and got better in customer service eventually.

Very poor customer service skills— manager made me feel very uncomfortable. Only saving grace was the assistant and that this was one of the few locations open during this time. I stopped coming 2 years ago for this very reason.

One of their employees stated that I Could Color the Human Hair Wig that I purchased for $139.99. My hairdresser tried to color the System Lighter, However, the System would Not budge not even slightly. I returned to see if I could exchange, pay the difference, etc, especially since it was his employees fault. An emphatic NO was my answer. He stated he would reiterate to the employee about the Hair!!

Only did 4 stars because one time I went to buy the razor for my eyebrows and they had a sale two for something and the Asian woman rung up two even though I only picked up one . But its cool ..it was cheap . In fact I just went to buy this Bella wig by Vanessa (my first wig) today 21Nov17 .. anywho its convenient. No complaints

I have been shopping at East Orlando Beauty Supply for a few years now. I went in today (2/2/19) with my mom to purchase some crochet hair. While I was browsing, my mom happen to notice they had straight crochet hair. The “pretend” owner Diana walked over from behind the counter to show that a mannequin was on display. I explained that the mannequin is a little too high and if it could be brought down for me to further inspect the hair. Diana indicates that the mannequin is bolted down and can’t be taken down. I shared that they should consider lowering the mannequin in the future so that customers are able to not just feel the hair, but to see how it will look in the front while installed. Diana then goes “we’ve had this mannequin in place for 3 years without complaint!” To which I replied, then let me be the first to complain. Now, I’m close to 6 ft tall, if I can’t reach the mannequin easily, *most* people would have the same issue. Diana then goes on to say, “here’s the package (hands me a pack of the crochet hair) you can bring it as close to your face as you like!” At this point, I’m like WTF! What kind of a response is this. I explained to her that I don’t appreciate being talked down to and her response wasn’t necessary. I only shared a concern to which she could have just said, I understand. What gets me even more is that Diana proceeded to return behind the counter to talk down about me to a fellow employee (which she knew I could hear). At this point, my politeness went out the window and I called her out on her lack of customer service. After exchanging words, I left and went to Arbedel and spent my $100 on a place that at least knows how to serve a customer.Note: if you also have kids, please stay away from this place. When we first entered this establishment, Diana was screaming (again from behind the counter) for a kid to stop touching whatever it was a few aisles over from me - even when the kids politely indicated they were not touching anything, she angrily yelled saying “I SAW YOU!” and proceeded to stalk the children. Beware of Diana! The actual owner (Asian man) said nothing and walked out the store while all the above was taking place. Diana likes to say she ownes the store, but she does not!Do not shop here!! Buy online, go somewhere else, but do NOT give these people your hard working money!!!!

I went to 3 beauty supply stores looking for accessories for my braids and couldnt find them. I was able to finally find them here at this beauty supply with wide variety to choose from. The lady that works there, which I think is the owner is super helpful! This will be my go to beauty supply store!

Dont spend your money here black peopleShes tripling her prices on products and weaves. Theres another supplier in water fords cheaper and nicer friendlier people! Diana always give the best costumer service and help. They have a good selection of products and competitive prices, but what really gets me is that they truly care about the customer. If they don’t carry something you want, try asking. 10/10

I called to see if they had the hair I wanted. The lady on the phone said yes and asked the color and I told her and she said yes we have many colors. I get there and they only have one color in the brand. Both ladies pretend to act like they don’t know who answered their phone. West Orlando hair stores are better. I will never come here again.

And the only white woman that works there is absolutely the best, she is very friendly and helpful, I gave 5 stars due to she does and knows what it takes to keep customers coming Back due to her willing to help and even offers suggestions to help you on whatever it is you are looking for !!! The Chinese store owner racial profiles customers especially if youre black and will follow you around the store to make sure you are not stealing. My friend and I went in there to purchase hair products and we were followed around the store. The owner asked us 3 times if we needed anything and we told her no thank you each time. She continued to follow us around and when we asked her why was she following us she flat out said because you guys could be stealing. We informed her that we werent stealing, we are just two hard working college students (Im currently in nursing school) trying to purchase hair products and we can afford to pay for our products because we work. After that discussion, we went to the cash register and the store owner refused to allow us to check out. She said leave, get out of my store. I will not sell anything to you guys. We stood there for about ten minutes and told her no, we were not leaving without her checking us out. After going back and fourth with her (very unprofessional) she finally decided to check us out and pay for our things. I will be taking my money else where and I will never buy anything from this store again.

Worst experience ever. I will never spend my money at this store ever again. I just needed to exchange hair because it was the wrong color. I happened to be one of the last customers and the first one the next morning. The owner was very nasty and told me she remembers me but she just did not want to do it. They carry a lot of African Americans hair products which are hard to find on the Eastside of Orlando. They carry a lot of wigs but the wigs are way over priced! You would probably find a better buy in Pine Hills or online. Even Amazon has a good selection and many are Prime eligible.

The owner is very helpful and the selection is decent. Like many beauty supply stores in Orlando, you wont always find everything you need but youll find enough. For its location, this store satisfies more of my hair care needs than I would expect.

We moved here 2 months ago, and we found this beauty supply store through Google by typing in beauty supply store near me. My kids and I went in the store and the owner stepped down from behind the counter to follow us around. She came on the isle asking me what I was looking for, and begin pointing me to everything thing that I needed. She kept watching my kids and I, and she never left from off of the isle until I got ready to check out. Worse experience in a beauty supply store. She has to be a racists acting the way she was. Smh.. I would not ever return to this place again!

They are paranoid about shoplifters. They have pictures of those caught on surveillance tapes literally taped to the floor as you walk in. They could be more friendly. Adequate hair care supply. Prices are at the higher end.

I wanted to reply to the response of the Owner :I find it rather INSULTING that the Owner WATCHED(enough to be able to ACTUALLY COUNT how many times my child touched the merchandise), raised her voice at my children, GOT IN MY FACE, and thinks a HAPPY MEAL will suffice!!!I absolutely admit to cursing her out which was a natural and legitimate reaction to her HORRIBLE customer service and disrespect!Furthermore, video footage confirms 3 things: #1- My children WERE being supervised #2 NONE of the merchandise was damaged or disheveled that my children touched #3 Diane got in my face and became aggressive with ME!I DO NOT WANT a face to face apology and have already started the process of submitting a formal complaint with local authorities!On other sites this store has several complaints regarding racial profiling! I went here with my grandmother. I went to look at a wig not intending to try it on. The oriental lady at the counter followed us to the back and took the wig out my hand after I clearly told her i wasnt trying it on. She told me i needed to buy a wig cap after i told her i wasnt going to try it on after reading the sign and she just unpolitely snatched the wig from my hands. She was watching me and my grandmother since we walked in. I do not recommend shopping here, go buy from your local black owned beauty supply store plesse.

Finally I do not have to travel to the west side to get what I need. They have variety at a reasonable price. This is where Ill be shopping for all of my hair care products.

I appreciate the distance from school and the variety of products they offer. Ive been there multiple times with no issue. Ive interacted with both owners and theyve always been good at answering questions and being courteous.

If I could do no stars I would. Today I went there and my sister picked up the Tester foundation and put a dab of it on her finger to put on her face to see if it was the right color and the owner told her she could not do that. She was told you can only put it on the front part of your hand and not take it to rub it on your face. My sister asked her why she couldnt do that and she responds I dont have to explain nothing to you its policy. So my sister asked again so your not going to tell me why I cant put this on face but I can put it on my hand the owner says its unsanitary. How is that unsanitary? The owner then says you need to leave and my sister told her she was not leaving. She proceeded to call the cops and claims my sister was trespassing (how can someone be trespassing if they were never filed prior to?). As she is going back and forth with my sister I tried to purchase my belongings and asked my sister if she still wanted to get the lipstick, which I was going to pay for ...the owner jumps in and says Im not selling anything to her in a very rude way. Thats when I got pissed and told her she could keep all her stuff and cussed her out! DIANE is the rudest and she racial profiles! AND oh yeah we waited 30min on the cops to show the owner leaves and the cops never showed because she LIED she never called the cops! Such a waste I rather travel to the west side or go to the one on Alafaya.

I just left this store and I have no plans on ever spending my money here again. I have previously purchased items here and didn’t have an issue. I’m usually in and out. Today I went in for a wig cap, it was listed as $1.99. So I grabbed 2. When I get to the register the caps ring up as $3.99 each. The cashier then walks over with me to where I grabbed them from and I showed her the listed price where there’s about 10 other packs and she says “oh no that’s the wrong price, they are $3.99” and I’m like it’s listed here as $1.99 and she pause for a moment. She’s replied “I can give it to you for $2.99” and I said: “no, thank you. it’s listed as $1.99”... If it was an error on your staff or your part by being under the incorrect price then it should be honored. She didn’t want to honor the $1.99. There’s a principal to this. It’s not 100% about the money or the cost. In my opinion if I’m running a business and there’s an error on the staffs part, you honor the price. So she wanted to make $2.99 off of the $1.99 listed price, I decided how about you make $0.00 from me. So I left and went and purchased my wig cap (name branded too) up at abradel in Waterford. When you go to Walmart and there’s a incorrect price that the product is listed under they give it to you for that price even if it’s an error by the stocker. If you go to Publix and something rings up as an incorrect price they give you the item completely free. I think the customer service at this place needs to be adjusted. Manager/Owner there are courses on customer service and retail that maybe the staff should be trained on.

This store is the closest Ive came to in finding a beauty supply store thats African American inspired. I havent been to one since leaving the DMV area.

I had one of the employees assist me with purchasing a ponytail and asked for her assistance in matching my color. She took the ponytail out put it against my head and said yup this matches. I purchased it... 2 days later I went to put it on and I have no clue what she was looking at she must be color blind..... I came back to the store with the product and my receipt and just asked to exchange it to match my color. The Asian manager or owner refused.... She told I should have used a mirror.... Umm her employee needs glasses. I refuse to shop here again. To think that I was going to purchase a wig. Horrible service

Usually a regular at the store but the customer service provided by the store clerks has been horrendous. They asked a friend (who was already in the store before I arrived) and I to go outside and finish talking after we were chatting for roughly 15 minutes (ABOUT HAIR). Not only did they tell us to go outside, they both pointed at the door and proceeded to give us an attitude while telling us that we were distracting them from their work. Not only do they stand over you as you shop, but they become fidgety and agitated when you take your time to shop. Dont trust of black shoppers but own a business that caters to black women... I am never shopping here again.

The last time I was here, I was shopping for a wig to wear for graduation. As my friend is helping me look the owner approaches us asking if we needed help and I said no thankyou. After finding the wigs that I liked I approached her and said that I was ready to try them on. And she looks at me blankly and goes, Try what on? I thought she was joking because the only thing to try on were wigs. I tell her, The wigs and she flatly says, No. Your hair is too big. I politely tell her that my hair was in a pony tail with a tiny puff and that the wig cap would suffice but she simply said no and then turned her back and walked away. What bothered me was that, she saw that I was looking at the wigs so she could have told me from the get go that I wouldnt be able to try them on. And then the fact that she just turned her back and walked away without saying sorry for the inconvenience or if there was anything else that I needed was just plain rude. Luckily I found another place that was accepting and worked with my hair type.

Believe all the bad reviews. I just had to walk out from the white old lady who kept telling me human hair and the prices while I was just looking. I had stuff on the counter and looking for a wavy closure, she tells me AGAIN it’s human hair and the price. I proceed to tell her yet again ma’am I know I am just looking for a closure, she barks at me and says” I’m LETTING YOU KNOW!” I said thank you ma’am and walked away she replies and says goodbye (and grab the stuff I was buying and threw them on the side ) Then I proceeded to tell her this is why the company has so many bad reviews because of people like her. And went to my regular spot ABADEL. I only went there bc it was closer to my house. NEVER AGAIN. Customers come to spend their hard earned money and not to be treated as trash

I went tdy looking for dreads ext. the lady kept showing me weave . Then when I told her for the 4th time I’m not looking for crochet ext I’m looking for dreads extensions, she tells me” go somewhere else” GLADY! I laughed and left. Dont waste your time. As I walk in with no bags might I add just my debit card. She asks can I help? I say no just looking every lace front I stop at she say its human hair 399. I went to the other aisle she follows me and says the price of each item I picked up. I then told her she didnt have to follow me, I have no bags so I will not steal anything. She then walks away and sits on a box at the beginning of the aisle. I left and told her they should fix the AC bc the customers shouldnt be sweating . I only gave two stars bc I was greeted when I walked in .

This place is fast convienent and carries everything. The prices are good.

They have what you need. Good variety. They are horrible at listening and kind of rude. Would rather go to the west side. They only get my money because theyre close.

Completely unprofessional cashier...while ringing up a customer yelled across the store accussing me of using a product when i was smelling it and then proceeded to talk to her customer about me. This only leads me to believe she was watching me because she thought i was stealing #profiling i didnt get her name but she is an older white woman with glasses and long dark hair.
