This shop was amazing! There was a line to go in because they limit the amount of guests inside and do require masks. They had umbrellas ready for us to use in case of rain so we wouldnt get wet. Everything inside was spectacular and the people were so nice. Im definitely coming back!!

I have been going to this store for over 6 years ! But today as we walked in we were yelled at basically to put a mask on. Mind you we were in the process of putting our mask on…. I totally support businesses and using mask due to Covid ! But just the way we were not greeted and just like spoken to was nasty. This place use to be my safe place but all the new people give the place a different vibe. Sad to say I won’t be going back anymore….

They have so much to offer for multiple different practices. They’ve got clothing, tarot cards, palmistry materials, books about practically anything metaphysical, ingredients and materials and crystals galore. The line was long and there was a wait time but it was worth it seeing how much there was to offer in-store. I loved it!

Staff was so helpful and friendly. I hadnt remembered my mask and even though it was 15 mins to closing a staff member gave me and my guest masks and allowed us to enjoy our time to the fullest. Asking if we need assistance several times but without being annoying. They have so many crystals and charms. As well as a large variety of herbs and range of reading and educational materials. In addition I purchased two crystals and two bracelets. Which were all fairly priced. They wrapped everything in paper and added lavender before putting into a small paper bag. They take great care in their items and customers.Will definitely come back and recommend.

First of all, the customer service here is SUPERB! Every worker here is attentive, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable! If you follow my reviews, ( #ayterrell ) then you know I am a huge fan of businesses going over and beyond for their customers. Maybe its the customer service in me that makes me care so much for it.This place has EVERYTHING! I definitely have to come back a few times more just to take in everything available. I originally came here to get another tarot deck to add to my many collection. And guess what? They have a whole room/ section full of tarot cards to satisfy anyone. Simply amazing!My 5 year old daughter even loved this place and kept saying how amazing it was throughout our tour of this place. She seen dreamcatchers hanging from the ceiling and asked about it. A pleasant female associate their let my daughter know that it catches the bad dreams and let the positive dreams flow through while sleeping. My daughter was intrigued and wanting it for herself. So we definitely got one for her.Even though I came for a another Tarot deck, I decided to get the tarot game because I never seen it before. After opening it and reading it, I see this being a great game I can use to have tarot parties and expand my business. Never would have thought about this unique idea had it not been #Avalon having so much available for their customers to choose from.In conclusion, this is now one of my favorite places to shop for metaphysical items. I wish I could rate this place more than 5 stars because they have truly blown me away! I definitely recommend this place to everyone!

The store itself is really nice, but it is really small, and the staff isn’t the best. While i was there for about one hour the employees came up to me about 30 times to ask me if i was okay, and they did not give me any personal space, kinda made me feel like i was stealing or something. i was also with a friend and i was waiting for her to finish paying and she said that i must exit the building and wait outside. The whole experience was kind of uncomfortable but they had a lot of great things.

I was looking forward to visiting this store on my birthday, only to be greeted at the door, by an employee telling us they were at capacity. So we waited for others to exit. When it was finally our turn, we were told we couldnt enter, with out a mask!!That very statement, negates all of the power of the crystals and faith, that store represents! Alternative choices in lifestyle and healing is what the metaphysical experience is supposed to be about. I find it hypocritical to require marks for safety, because we live in America, the power to choose is what we stand for!Where is your faith! Faith in source and humanity?!

Pricey... Yet so worth the money. They have everything you could want or need, from herbs, books, tarots, candles, crystals and stones and so much more. Best shop! The humans that work there are just as sweet and knowledgeable without judgement.

Good mineral selection, however I think that the building might be cursed or built on the wrong ley line because I heard loud horrific female screaming the entire time I was in the building. I asked my wife if she heard the screams but she looked at me like I was crazy. As soon as I walked out of the building it stopped. Never in my 53 years of life have I experienced something like this. Nice rocks though 4/5 stars

Youre better off going to Spiral Circle a few blocks up or Gypsy, who has recently moved to a larger location about a 1/2 mile up from the old one. Prices are better and so is the energy and customer service. Unfortunately, Avalon has gone downhill when it comes to friendly staff, and making customers feel welcomed. Remember, its not the only option for the type of items they sell. Leaves & Roots on E Colonial is a good source for herbs, and theres a crystal shop off Michigan and OBT.

Ridiculous lines. A mask is not going to protect anyone from a virus. I am a very spiritual being and have been practicing for many years. The knowledge is not there....bad energy from the employees. What I purchased was over priced. I will be opening my own store where customers are treated like family.

I love this shop!! I came back for the Fairie Festival and Im so happy I did. The festival was great and the items sold were eclectic and beautiful. Loved the shop also and found so many beautiful new crystals. Will definitely come back again.

There are two male staff members who are complete Snobs… This used to be a place of caring a place of spiritual sanctity for me and it is no longer a place that I feel comfortable buying my products from… your company /customer service needs a total adjustment. It’s not how I wear my mask it’s the tone of how you talk to me when you want to correct me or tell me where the line is do it in a peaceful positive friendly manner and I will Bring back so much more business for you… I believe in this place and I believe that customer service is key to how your clientele should be treated… correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m not.

I love this place from the employees to the inventory everyone is very knowledgeable and hace the best disposition to help… if you are new or being around for a while they will make you feel right at home. Keep growing and keep been the best in the business.

The good vibes of this place are EVERYTHING. They have stones, herbs, oils, smudge sticks, candles, incense sticks/cones, resins, jewelry, tarot cards, books, and most importantly... people who know how to use all of these. I loved the vibes so much that I asked for advice on how to get my own space to be similar and the staff explained what they do and answered all my follow-up questions. I put their advice into action and my space feels amazing. Ive called to ask questions about products and theyve always been considerate and objective to the many belief systems they support through their store. The parking can be a challenge, and I feel like theres always a line to get in the door, but theyre taking COVID precautions which I fully respect and appreciate; they care about their staff and customers physically, mentally, and spiritually. I highly recommend visiting Avalon for your spiritual needs and feel all the weight youve been carrying fall off at the door.

The cashier could not identify the majority of the crystals I was buying. She also judged me for not knowing what they were or taking pictures of the cards that describe them. I wish I could say I got into the store. They have a waiting time for capacity which I understand. Since it was raining I didn’t want to wait outside in a Florida rain. So they told me to give them my name and number which I did and they told me I could wait in the car. I went to my car and I had to rush to the restroom to the publix across the street so I went. As I’m getting out they called me so I told the lady I will be there in less than 2 mins as I was crossing the street. She told me they couldn’t wait and they had to move to the next person in the waiting list I told her I was literally running to get there, but I’m not gonna kill myself to cross the street. She said unfortunately she couldn’t wait even 1 min and move to the next person. I like crystals and I have a collection hoping to visit the store. But if they could not wait 1 min for me to get there in the middle of the rain there is really no empathy for customers that are waiting in the rain I really don’t want to go in there. I can guarantee that the next person in the parking lot in their car would have taken the same time. Very bad customer service.

Very helpful staff. I suggest you take pictures of the crystals and descriptors if youre not familiar with the purpose. Youll find books, dreamcatchers, herbs, oils...almost everything you can think of!!!

Visiting Orlando and found this gem! Absolutely LOVED my shopping experience. Wasnt a fan of being forced to put chemicals on me (hand sanitizer) because I am all about the natural holistic means of protecting my body, but that aside I was in metaphysical heaven.

Literally such a nice place. Everyone is so soft spoken and nice, such a peaceful store. I only went in to get a gem but I can definitely see myself going there again

Many years ago, I visited the store and a lady by the name of Marinda said something very shocking to me. I informed her that I went to a Wiccan ritual but the guy standing next to me smelled really bad. She then proceeded to ask me if he was black. What does skin color have to do with it. At that moment I realized an unpleasant truth about Marinda.

As far as I know theres not much competition in this space, and for that Im grateful to have a store for the items they provide. That being said, knowing where stones are sourced would be helpful for my eco conscious considerations, all of the several necklace chains brake within a couple months of wearing (got several at the same time for gifts and Avalon wouldnt replace or credit- since stopped buying their chains), and clarity in pricing would be nice also.

Loved it! So much to choose from and great prices. The staff assisted me in finding all the crystals I needed on my list. Everything is marked and prices are reasonable. If you love reiki crystal healing, love gem jewelry, or a zen like individual stop by. Parking is a bit tricky and they are following covid capacity protocol.

Used to love coming here, until I decided to splurge and spend more money on some of the jewelry in their case. Spent quite a bit for a piece of “citrine” set in silver, only to have it checked out and be told it’s glass. This wouldn’t be a problem if the sales associate hadn’t specifically used the word citrine while I was buying it, making me think it was something that it’s not. Super disappointed and probably won’t come back.

The crystals are all so beautiful. And the workers are very helpful in guiding you exactly what your needing or looking for. Their incense are super cheap in price so you can bulk up on them. I love how each crystal has what it’s used for and the name on them.

Got in line at 5:30, stood in line 1 hour and 15 minutes. The owner and workers came out warning people that they close promptly at 7 and that not everyone would get in. One, a man in a tank top and boots, was exceptionally rude when a gentleman (CORRECTLY) called him out for his ridiculous policy and condescension. I watched the inside of the store - whole rooms were empty and there was no enforcement of shopping time from the staff. They stated they were doing “announcements” to get people moving, which were very passive and completely useless. I appreciate the performative safety, but If you have a huge line, that doesn’t mean you close because you need to leave at 7, that means you stay open to accommodate everyone in line who was there before 7. Every theme park and store in the area knows this. Every single shopper who had to wait should have been given discounts to recover the experience. Instead, they were basically told to get lost. Believe the bad reviews - Spiral Circle and Gypsy are significantly better experiences.Edit: once inside, the entire staff was completely obsessed with cleaning the store to get out by 7. I had one ask me: “need any herbs? Because we’re trying to close.” It was 6:40. Horrible, horrible experience.

Was treated very rudely during our visit today. My husband and I were checking out and the lady behind the counter told me to wait outside because it was one transaction. We had waited our turn in line like everyone else and we deserved to finish our transaction as a party. I have never experienced anything like this anywhere else. I understand that there was a line due to limited capacity but 2 more minutes would not have made any difference. I used to enjoy going to Avalon but this recent experience has changed my opinion.

Very lovely staff and very helpful and knowledgeable. Good selection and organization of things. They have limited space and only let so many ppl in at a time. So you will need to wait your turn (be sure to stay to the side and out of the parking lot entrance. I park on the street because Its easier. Just don’t think you can park in the lot next to it because its a one way thing and i swear I almost got stuck in it🤪.

I loved this place! The waiting line outside foretold Id be pleased inside, and I was! The smells, the aura, the professionalism of the staff, including a published expert on crystals, the experience was enriching and Ill be back. Lots to explore and learn on my personal journey.

Prices are unrealistically expensive, bought bunch of stuff there and then looked it up online it was at least 70% more I understand it’s a local business and it’s important to support, but it’s way too much I’m sorry.

Avalon is a wonderful store with something for everyone of a spiritual nature. And a great supply of crystals minerals and stones. I always stop in whenever I am in orlando.Fyi they are still on covid precautions so be prepared with mask and possible line to enter. You may want to call ahead to check.

My girlfriend and I really enjoy going to Avalon but due to our recent poor treatment from an employee by the name Miranda, we will not be returning anytime soon. We were spoken to like we were less than as well as rushed out of the store due to a growing line. I understand that there is a line because of COVID, but I was not given the opportunity to peacefully shop. I was walking out I heard Miranda telling us to leave after paying and “keep the line moving”. She was incredibly rude, if I could give 0 stars I would.

My first time here but I will be back for sure. Love this place.

Avalon is probably the most diverse metaphysical store in Orlando. Avalon has it all: books, crystals, oils, incense, herbs, witchy stuff, readings, classes, and metaphysical fares. I think it really does cater to so many different modalities within the new age/pagan/energy healing/metaphysical world and communities. Their prices are a little high on some items but I think it’s worth it especially when it comes to crystals and the knowledge you can learn there. Literally every person who works at Avalon is so helpful to your needs and an expert in their own right. One person in particular is a crystal specialist and author of several crystal books and will help you pick out specific crystals for anything you need. Another great and relatively inexpensive service is their candles. Just tell someone what’s going on in your life, what you need, and they’ll prepare a 3 or 7 day candle complete with herbs and oils and set with intention to manifest your very best :)

Great people, but shoddy jewelry. Literally asked if a ring would turn my finger green, they assured me it would not, bought it for $30 and not 4 hours later my finger is green.

The staff is welcoming, warm and friendly. The shop is always clean and comfortably, my only problem is that I walk in for one thing and often leave with at least three things. They do practice public safety and only allow ten at a time, so on the weekend, there may be a short wait

When we originally visited this store 8 years ago, we had nothing but good things to say about it. Good selection of product with a wide variety, original unique items, nice friendly service, and a quiet, peaceful shopping experience. Over time, our opinion has shifted downward a bit, due to bad experiences, more and more witchcraft and cult related products, and bad customer service experiences. It had gotten bad enough that we no longer go to this shop, we take our business elsewhere. Most of the employees are kind and informative, and we have had good interactions with them, but some bad apples spoil the bunch, and unfortunately, having to deal with bad customer service while spending our hard earned dollar here was just a big turn off. The prices have increased significantly over time, which is the prerogative of the shop and the owner, but we certainly do not find if fair for natural gifts. Stuff that is commercialized or from places like China, price increases are more understandable but we do not buy these things anyways. A lot of icon-based product, books, CDs, statues, etc come from China. Their return policy is the worst, and parking just plain sucks. The building is unique, an old house converted into commercial space, and the vibe inside can vary depending on the day, b/c a lot of traffic comes through, and if you understand crystals, you can understand how the vibe can shift depending on who is in and out of there. I would recommend Sacred Circle, Gypsy Apothecary over Avalon 10/10 times, even recommend Black Market Minerals (superstore) over this place now, which is not our favorite place either.
