Was so excited to try this place. waited about an hour for my doordash order, and i had noticed after taking a couple sips of the lavender milk tea that there were multiple black strands of hair inside the drink!!! there ended up being long black hairs in both drinks we ordered. after that, i opened up my beyond burger box hoping the food would at least be OK, and immediately saw a strand of blonde hair stuck in the sandwich. i wish i could give them another chance but this was just too much! never again :(
Cute and cozy atmosphere with k-pop/j-pop music playing, limited seating, amazing artwork from visitors on walls, and more. Been here a handful of times back when I was a local to the surrounding Orlando area and this place never disappoints. From the time my husband and I have visited we’ve tried the chicken bites (/w garlic Parmesan), taiyaki, sno, and affogato cloud. Which have all been extremely delicious! If you’re going to be eating here I would definitely recommend sitting down to enjoy your meal at the restaurant, instead of to go. That way you can actually enjoy the experience this cafe has to offer. 💖Only “complaint” that I would have is that it’s a small amount of room due to the size of the plaza it’s in. Which means very limited seating when visiting. Hopefully one day they expand to have another/bigger location! 👍
I have heard so much about this place and have seen a lot of pictures on Instagram. So I was really excited to try this place out. Unfortunately I was not blown away. The staff was friendly and honest about how long food will take to make but they still served quickly. I would have appreciated them more if they took a bit more time to make the chicken taiyaki more presentable. I also order the rice burger and was not impressed. The flavor was ok and it cut the roof of my mouth. The veggie egg rolls were good and the wings were really spicy but not the best without the sauce. Good, fresh, quality Boba! So I really recommend the Boba.
It was so good! My son has been wanting boba and we stopped by after visiting boba it is cool because I tried boba here for the first time! It was well cleaned and decorated. The food was great, would come back again
This is just one of the many unique and tasty treats they carry. Must visit while in the Orlando area
The pink lemonade with lychee was absolutely refreshing. It has a great balance of tartness with sweet. Check it out.
Boba pearls were inconsistent. Half were hard and uncooked, the other half overdone and too soft.
This place is great!! Amazing boba tea, but they also have good food! Great if youre looking for a quick bite with friends.
Very good food and drinks, but be prepared for a real long wait for Taiyaki if you get it
The ice cream and tea is great! Amazing variety and everything tastes so good. They do fill the cups up with a lot of ice but other than that amazing. One of my favorite boba places.
The food and the drinks were really good and the vibe in the store was great. Cant wait to go back!
Today was my first time ever trying Ice & Bites Cafe. I am really surprised I have never gone there before as I am a UCF alum! (GO KNIGHTS!) . My friend and I ordered two Taiyakis and two boba teas. This place was pretty busy on a sunday night. We were told that the machine for the Taiyaki would take approximately 20 min per person to create our desserts. I think it took closer to 30 minutes for both of them to get done and it was totally worth the wait. The cafe is super cute and a great place to hang out (if Covid wasnt a thing). I could see groups of people going there to hang out or people who want to do work on their laptops. As for the desserts, the Taiyakis were very tasty. I got a lavender flavored one and my friend got one with taro (the one pictured). They melt pretty fast but they come in a cup so that helped a lot! The boba tea was pretty standard but still delicious. I would definitely recommend checking out this place!
The taiyaki was delicious and that lavender flavor of ice cream I chose was great, but... only having one working taiyaki machine is kind of rough if you want two and dont want to wait half an hour. The place is cute though, and when things go back to normal it looks like theyll have games and such available again.
One of my favorite places to hang out and enjoy a little bite to eat! Love the tofu bites and the taro with boba.
Fun atmosphere. Relatively large menu. I ordered a blended drink with passion poppers. My cousin ordered the affogato(?) Cotton candy on ice cream with double shot of espresso on the side. Both choices are delicious. The combinations of scents on the inside started giving me a headache, but no big deal to me.Will return.
I wouldn’t really recommend this place. The staff seem like they don’t care and you are an inconvenience to them. Tea is watered down and over half the cup is filled with ice. You get more value and taste for your money at quickly.
Super cute shop with a great variety of treats for anyone to enjoy.I had to try the taiyaki and it did not disappoint. Definitely worth a trip in!!
This would be the third version of snow and Boba tea shop on this location. This is by far the best of all three. The have small plates of Asian food and a variety of snow icecream and Boba teas.We try to support any business in this location, because the Pei Wei is the anchor restaurant and needs a place like this for dessert. Hot Summers in central Florida needs this place, the price are competitive and portions are fairly generous.
Although there can be a bit of a wait- it’s worth it! Highly recommend the taiyaki ice cream- the taiyaki is made fresh so its fragrant, warm and crunchy. They have something like bing-su called ‘SNO’ here- flavored shaved ice. Highly recommend the halo halo flavor
Came on a Saturday. Its a cute place. Ive been to many of these type of places in the US and beyond. The taiyaki was crispy but this was the most non-customizable place for taiyaki Ive ever been to. From the beginning we mentioned we were there for taiyaki. After looking at the menu and deciding what to get for our taiyaki, thats when we were informed they were out of this and that and we couldnt do this nor that for toppings. I was willing to pay the full extra charge that includes 2 toppings and one sauce for just one fruit stick since there were so many limitations but the girl was VERY clear I couldnt even do that as a single topping. Definitely not coming back
Super cute little cafe. The food is delicious, and the desserts and drinks are good (highly recommend the taiyaki ice cream!)
We waited patiently for 30 minutes for our order (2 drinks and tofu bites) then we noticed that people who came after us started getting their order before us. We brought it up to their attention and we were given passive aggressive attitude and no apology whatsoever for mixing up the orders. Wont be coming back again.
It takes about half an hour for taiyaki. they can only make one at a time, so if youre going with multiple people maybe order ahead otherwise youre looking at a several hour wait for everything. we unfortunately werent aware of the wait times so we had to be selective about what we ordered.the employees were friendly and the place was very cute and clean. drinks were tasty. it sucks that it seems like this isnt really a place to get taiyaki when that was the entire reason we came in the first place.
I have a cold sensitivity currently and wanted no ice in my milk tea. One of the girls lied saying they just made the boba so they had to put ice in it but dont worry its only 2 or 3 small cubes just to cool it down. I take a look and its an entire 2 inches of ice.
This place was ok. I was excited to try it after seeing pictures, but it was a bit of a let down. The decor was very cute, but the service and food/drinks were mediocre. I wasn’t greeted when I walked in, and the people working were just standing around chatting. I got a matcha boba tea and wanted to try the chicken bites, but they were all out so I ordered the chicken wings. I went in around 5pm and they close at 10pm, and they were not busy, so it’s concerning that they were out of a main food item fairly early. The matcha boba was good, but just good. The chicken wings were nice and crispy on the outside, but there was more fat than meat, and one of the ‘wings’ was just a chunk of fried fat with a bone in it.... I stopped eating at that point. After reading other reviews, it seems like this is the norm in terms of food quality/service.
The drinks are great. Different, tasy flavors compared to the downtown WP area which has some awesome boba places. However, I wont recommend getting the food there. 30-45 minute ticket times kind of defeat the purpose of the street food feel, which it seems like what theyre going for. 10 wings and some fries left us waiting 45 minutes in the store. And when we did get the food there was soo much condensation in the containers. So, not only did it take a long time for them to drop the order, but when it was done I guess they just forgot and left our food sitting on the counter for awhile. And this was on a weekday where it wasnt very busy at all and not even much foot traffic.
Came here with my husand and they told me they were pretty much put of everything no cotton candy no coffee or chocolate ice cream
Very good taro tea slush.
Understanding and helpful staff.
Very cute drinks. I totally went for the look.
Definitely worth a try, I love they way that they allow you to customize your own dessert. The Japanese twist with the taiyaki is very fun.
Its fun to create my own dessert. There are so many options and combinations that you can get something new every time!
Me and my sister came at 9:30 and the 2 young girls that worked there was super friendly, helpful, and kind. People usually catch a attitude for going into restaurants when they are about to close, but those girls made me want to come back for more (excellent customer service). The taiyaki was delicious, the tofu rice burger was to die for, the halo halo was great, and the fried corn bites is sooo good. Overall all the food I ordered was delicious, I had a great time and I will definitely be going back!
This place is amazing. I love the chicken rice burger. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is bc as a group of 4 we payed about $50 and got no sides or drinks. The service was so slow, we got our food one person at a time 10 min in between. It was disappointing because we wanted to eat together but our food was cold by the time we all were able to eat together. Probably won’t come back but definitely a place to try.
We told the girl this our first time here and she’s like we only specialize in boba tea drinks. I told her I want the Katsu rice burger, she’s like well it’s going to take 15 minutes to make and I say ok. Than she’s like let me check if we have any, mind you I came in at 12:30, they open at noon, she said oh our fryer isn’t working.I drove an hour to try this food. They need to have people that wants to work and not push away paying customers. I will not even try going back, real bad customer service.
Ordered, waited about 10 minutes then was told they were out of what I ordered and got a refund that did not include the tip. Basically got gipped out a few bucks and wasted time.
It was my first time here with my friends and it was amazing, i loved the staff they were VERY helpful, the girls gave me so many great suggestions and i loved what they picked out for me. 10/10 customer service 10/10 drink choice
Drinks are amazing and atmosphere is cute!
This place is great for snow and tayaki. It has great milk tea flavors; my only complaint is the quality of the boba. I am not sure what their process is for making it but is always without doubt hard. If youre not going for boba then you will be satisfied
The food here is delicious, we had the chicken bites and a taiyaki, delicious! The atmosphere is awesome, the servers are awesome, and they have tons of options! The foods a good price for the generous portions and they had a huge selection to choose from. Definitely recommend the blueberry taro blended tea! Were absolutely eating here all the time!
I dont know how this place got a 4.6 review...but we came here specifically because it had high ratings. This location, like most boba shops, allow you to reduce the sweetness of your drink. Kung Fu Tea, RoyalTea and many others can reduce the sweetness without reducing the concentration/potency of the tea/flavor.This location, unfortunately, appears to have already pre-mixed their tea with sugar and so if you ask for less sweet, they will mix in more water therefore reducing your drinks flavor. Our original milk tea boba was so diluted it was borderline water with subtle hints of tea. You know how when you put ice in your soda and let it melt, then when you drink that top layer you get mostly water with a hint of soda? Yeah, it was that top layer taste. The matcha green tea we got also was extremely powdery and it tasted like the powder was not fully mixed/dissolved. On top of all this, the boba was very jelly-like. No al-dente-like texture and was pure mush. I judge a boba shop based on their boba. I mean that is your specialty isnt it? The boba here was either made by an amateur or it was made and left out too long.Pretty disappointed and dont think well be back. Will stick with Kung Fu Tea across the street or RoyalTea if were ever downtown.I think theres a reason why this place was pretty empty and Im going to assume its not just summer break or the CCP-virus pandemic...
The lady at the register was super nice! It was really quiet when I went in (I blame the rain), and Korean pop played quietly, making the place super cozy. They have a small selection of games you can play, and a variety of snacks and teas. Though they were out of one of the macaroons I wanted, they quickly came out to let me know. The honeydew milk drink was awesome, and the macaroons look delicious! I would be happy to go again!
Great selection of drinks. Amazing place. Food was good.
Cutest little kpop themed cafe, always playing bops and the chicken is so good omg
Ordered the razzle dazzle boba tea and it was perfect! My first boba tea drink and it couldn’t have been better. 10/10 service and chill environment ✨🌟
Ive been going to chewy boba for years. I try ICE & Bites CAfe tapioca pearls and Im officially hooked on my first visit. I asked them what their secret was and was told by the nice gentleman at the front. They make them in small batches so they stay fresh! Ill absolutely drive the extra couple miles for this place
First time having boba. it was a pretty good first time.
Ice cream had a crystallized texture and the staff was very rude. I was very disappointed. Only good thing was the tayaki.
I love ice & bites, the employees are extremely friendly and helpful breaking down the menu and helping you find the perfect treat. I get the thai tea. 10/10
Their bubble tea and chicken taiyaki was soooo good i am defintly going their again 😋 😆
The shaved ice is astonishing. Try the melon one (cant recall the name, but the all melon with toppings). Wow, deserts just dont get better than this, not even in the streets of Tokyo. Service could have been better, but as you cant get these flavors in too many places on Earth, its still 5 stars. Try it!!
Pretty good
Great Taiwanese shave ice, lots of topping options
Delicious lavender ice cream.
Good. Could have better customer service.
Excellent service and even better food and drink options! I have been here quite a few times and the staff has taken the time to remember me. The owner is also quite creative and has thought of menu items that you cannot get anywhere else in the area (try their taiyaki!)
Place is awesome! Service was great and food was very good!! I’m sure we’ll be back soon
The staff are friendly, and the food is quick and worth the price. The place is always spotless, and theres always something fun playing. They have games and the like. Its a local business! Leave your signature on the wall!
Girl working tonight made my drink wrong, then refused to remake it right, and was very rude during the whole process (of me asking for the drink i actually ordered). Very rude staff. I do not recommend
Kids love it but wife and I prefere icecream over shaved ice....
Pros: The place is cute, the staff is nice, and the food is tasty.Cons: Youll wait 25+ minutes for each of your food items and it gets crowed in a matter of seconds since the space is poorly optimized for seating. If youre hungry, go somewhere else. This is mostly a place to come chill and take instagram pictures.
Their taiyaki is awesome, and the portions here are incredibly generous. Plus, all the toppings taste like they were homemade. The brownie bites are legit
My favorite place in orlando...special dishes not common to the area. Taiyaki...affocado...halohalo... kpop atmosphere... draw anime on wall... nice for instagram
Always a great experience every time I go! If youve never had bubble tea before or arent sure what to get from here, I personally recommend the taro blended drink with boba. Service is usually 5-10 minutes and theres games and dry erase boards for you to pass the time with 😊
Staff was really nice and quick to make recommendations for what youre looking for! You can tell they take pride in the quality of all their food and creations. Everything was delicious, Ill definitely be back.
Dont go here for boba or bubble tea. Weird flavors and no basic ones that everyone enjoys. Asked for ice got none. Was rushed t order with no one behind me. Took 10min when i was the only order they had. Whole place smells weird and just not welcoming at all. For boba or tea go to places like quickly or chewy way better, clean and nicer. Not coming back. Boba was also melted and the whole drink was disgusting. 👍👍👍
This is hands down the best place to get Boba in town! If that was not enough the food and shaved ice are out of this world. The shop is inviting, and the staff provides top notch service!!
I love their milk tea. Their little snack plates are great for cute dates or hangouts! Love the princess peach tea 💕
Delicious! Ice and bites has everything you would want in a dessert place. Service is great, and hanging around ice and bites is really fun! Complementary board games and a wall to draw on, you are sure to be entertained as you eat here.
Good desserts and food. Get your fix of bubble tea or ice cream. Plenty of seats and space to eat or play some games with friends.
I really like this place and the Sno is very good. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that likes original desserts different than your standard ice cream. They also have board games you can play while you are there.
A shop with bad service run by teens who dont want want to be working here
Cute place! The drinks here are incredible! Good variety of drink choices as well
Cute little shop, I recommend the Taiyaki which is like a giant fish-shaped waffle cone ice cream, more waffle than cone. Its a spectacle. A delicious, ice cream filled spectacle.
Yum! Taro is the way to go
The ice cream with a fish shaped waffle is awesome... a lot of students come here. Clean.good place were you can always get a free sampler if you are not sure.
First time trying this type of drink! It was amazing! I ordered the Mango Tango Green Tea with Mango Jellies and Mixed Fruit jellies. SOO GOOD! Cashier was friendly and gave suggestions. I will be back!
Ice cream taikyaki FOREVER, be sure to order your tea at half-sweet, unless you like drinking straight candy. Cant suggest the honeydew, taro, or pretty-in-pink flavors enough! I always get extra boba too.
The chicken bites are awesome. My girls favorite spot to get a bite. The ambience is chill and relaxing.
Took over 20 minutes just for ice tea. Watched the staff just hanging out in the back while customers waited for their items. Would not recommend going
The rice sandwich is really good! They have great food!
I got a Thai tea with regular Boba. It was delicious! The staff was very friendly! Ill definitely be back at some point. Excited to try the shaved ice next time
We arrived 30 minutes before close but the staff was still super helpful and made us what we ordered quickly. We didnt order food considering how late we were but the menu items looked very tasty. Will go back eventually to sample the food items.
Drinks were pretty good. The service is very slow.
Trendy place with a wild assortment of food. The board games in the dining area are a nice touch. I enjoyed the bites.
