Love this place! My best friend and I visited this place yesterday and we wanted to sit for a coffee. We both ordered a cappuccino with lavender syrup. No sugar needed! Perfect just how it was. But I usually like mine a hint more sweeter so I end up put one sugar in. Coffee with a hint of lavender flavor was absolutely comforting!! Warmed my body and I felt a sense of coziness and relaxation. As we sat there drinking out cappuccinos and talked we realized we started getting a bit hungry so we ordered the tator tots. They were nice a hot. It took a bit long. But I believe it was because there was only one person attending the shop, if I remember correctly. Not positive. But they were cooked to perfection. Hot and crunchy! And it was more then enough. My best friend and I couldnt finish it. But the guy behind the counter was super nice. I cant wait to go back.
The lady with red hair up front has just been really rude every time we go in. And I genuinely have no idea what we could have done to bother her so much. And then makes comments with her friends as we’re leaving. I miss the nicer people who used to work here and actually cared about the place. Probably won’t be back soon.
This funky spot has great food and coffee and hot chocolate. They have indoor and outdoor seating.
They have great books for sale, coffee is okay. Over all one of my favorite coffee shops in Orlando.
Orlando legend! Great coffee, lots of stuff within walking distance and lots of great stuff inside. The photobooth has been there as long as I can remember and we just used it yesterday. Lots of books, lots of space, booze, community, great little stage. You can come here without anything to do but a few dollars for a drink and leave enlightened in some manner. This is up there with the best of the best. Never change. Also Park Ave, another legend, is right across the street. Do it. Do it now.
Stumbled across this Gem...I really enjoy my time here. The atmosphere and ambiance really pull the vision together. Ive had coffee and some tasty treats...pleasantly surprised....stop in you wont regret it.
Theres not a lot left, really. they were out of most of the food, they didnt have the coffees shown. It really was an amazing place. I hope they come back, but I wouldnt likely go back if they didnt make some major changes.
Cool environment with a decent selection of coffee and meals. More of a place to hang out and chill than anything else.
This place its so cool. Love all the vibes and drinks the bartender makes. They serve some pretty good food but there coffee is ok.
I love going to Stardust. Its great any time of day. The art there is awesome; always something new to check out there. Nice place to grab drinks.
I’ve heard so many good things about Stardust, but I had never had the chance to come visit. Since I happened to be in the area, I took advantage of it to come by, and I was so glad I did. First off, I was a little bit confused about the ordering process. Although their “inside” is open, you have to make your purchase outside by the window in the corner, then head inside or stay outside. I understand perhaps the need for this to relieve occupancy inside with Covid and all, but it is confusing nonetheless. Regardless, the staff was very kind and helpful, even offering recommendations. Unfortunately however, I did not see that many menu choices, so I stuck with a delicious Tiramisu Cappuccino that was recommended. Inside, the ambience was very nice. Full of lights, art, books, and so much more. Plenty of tables were available, including somewhat private 2-person booths. Maybe this is not that kind of establishment, but I felt that for a coffeeshop it seemed amiss that there were no sofas or even just an armchair, only just tables with chairs. I felt that had these been also present, that it would have really added to the whole ambience and made it more amenable. I visited quite late in the evening, and perhaps it was some kind of setup for the time, but their music was blasting too. I love music of all choices, so I didn’t mind the music playing, but what it did kinda bothered me was how excessively loud it was. Most other patrons were sitting outside, which was much more quieter than inside. The only other person inside clearly was aware of this and had noise canceling headphones on.Regardless, this establishment is amazing, and I truly recommend you to come visit and enjoy. I know for a fact I will be back. The only reason I am giving this experience 4 stars instead of 5, is the few little things mentioned above. However, don’t let it deter your visit!
One of my favorite hang out spots in Orlando. While colorful and creatively decorated, they make bomb hot chocolate and tea. Im guessing their coffee is delicious, too, but I dont drink coffee. They also serve beer if thats your bag. :) If youve got a few extra hours, go to Stardust and enjoy a cozy atmosphere to get a beverage, chat with friends, and/or read one of their many books displayed on their walls :) 🌸 Cheers!
Went in to try and focus on some work and they were playing terrible music at full blast. I decided to leave and got yelled at by the owner (white lady) she then said “thanks for not buying anything and taking up space” would not recommend this place if you don’t want to leave with a headache or someone yelling at you in front of other people.
I would move to orlando for this coffee shop it’s so nice . they were playing elo and my drink was good
I love the flowers and the wonderful plants outside and the place inside as well..also thought the pizza at the farmers market was THE BEST EVER. And theyre making it fresh and hot right in front of you...
Staff has bad manners and lack of effort to even want to work. I asked a question about the menu and the barista immediately seemed exhausted with the question and just looked like she despised the conversation. She made me feel very uncomfortable. London fog drink was good at least
The people who work in the afternoon are just jerks. The folks who previously reviewed before about getting bad looks because they werent dressed like hipster D-bags were spot on. The entire counter staff that works after 4 PM needs to be trained on how to treat people decently. Avoid this place.
Really cool chill place to have some coffee and do some work. Had a vanilla latte and it was delicious. Seating area are spread out but couldn’t find an outlet as those seats get taken quickly They have a nice book selection but overall cool place to vibe. Located in a great area also .
Was cute, however, the rock music was obnoxiously loud. And when we got up to move to a new location, the staff yelled at us in front of all the customers “thanks for not buying anything and taking up space”. Not very professional.
Coffee was fresh and hot.Enjoyed the vegetarian breakfast burrito, absolutely delicious.
Hip place, vegan and vegetarian friendly, with coffee, an amazing assortment of herbal teas, a limited kitchen with yummy food, and a full fledged bar. The place is filled with funky pictures and memorabilia. You may buy any of their worn books, or read them there. It is a great place to meet and greet, with tables, benches, booths and some limited outside seating. There is a stage where local artists perform. They even have their own photo booth!
Wi-Fi is 1.5 mbps, can’t even load a video.
Excellent spot. I’ve come here several times in the span across many years, and Stardust Video & Coffee never seems to fail. Excellent customer service, welcoming establishment, reasonable pricing, beautiful decor and ambiance and class act talent. I had such a good time by myself here today. The Hummus and Pita came out beautifully toasted and warm. My coffee was served hot and fresh. There was enough seating areas and space both oindoor and outdoor to enjoy the live performance in your own space. And less we forget, free WiFi!!! Thanks for remaining true to your roots and customers, Stardust Video & Coffee. You are one of my favorite spots to hit up in Orlando. I will be back for many visits to come.
Great funky little coffee shop/Cafe. Fun cocktails and nifty market on Monday evenings
To me this place is the quintessential Orlando coffee shop & cafe. It has been around for 20 years. Its eclectic art and funky decor gives the place a warm inviting charm. The music spans a wide variety of post-rock, progressive, and other strange experimental/alt genres. It’s kind of loud so if you’re looking for a spot to take video/phone calls probably want to look elsewhere.Menu has lots of options and they serve alcohol in addition to coffee.
My favorite hangout and work spot in Orlando! I love their tea blends! Their salads and sandwiches are very yummy with mostly vegetarian menu items. The vibe is dreamer meets hipster in a dimension where rebel American heritage perfectly blends with the bohemian hippie. Highly recommend.
Heard good things about this place over the years and finally got a chance to go, but was disappointed. The tea and coffee were delicious, the atmosphere was nice, but the service was passable: we ordered at a counter outside, but when we ordered the 1st drink, the employee went off and made it, handed it to us and asked if we wanted to order anything else. So we ordered our 2nd drink, and had to wait out in the heat for longer. I dont know if thats company policy or the employees choice, but the process could be better streamlined so people dont have to wait in Floridas extreme weather. We also ordered food (a chicken burrito), and while it was hot and freshly made, it was bland, like there was no salt. There wasnt even salt on the table. Might come back for the tea if Im ever in the area, but definitely not for food.
Is a place to chill, drink coffee and to have intellectual conversations but dont go to eat because there is nothing to eat only pre made burrito and basic food until further notice, call before going for food. Dont waste your time like I did.
The ambiance is top notch. I’ve been to almost every coffee shop in Orlando and this is my favorite place if I’m going to stay and hangout. They offer food which is great and Coffee is pretty good too, not the best coffee in the area but the overall experience can’t be beaten. If you’re looking for a vibe this is it. ✨
They have ample amount of seating inside and outside. They have a full service alcohol and coffee bar with a decent food menu. The inside vibe is old, artsy and funky. Its a comfortable environment. There are books, games, paintings, and random art and things all over the place. i recommend

So basically most of the negative reviews were just put off by some snooty staffer. I dont care- it keeps the riff raff out -stay snooty Stardust, and stay awesome💯💯👌🤫
Love this place! Has excellent cappuccinos and a great book selection! Very cool vibes in here, definitely returning :)
The lights were really nice as I came at night and the coffee was really good too. I have a latte with lavender and oat milk on the recommendation of the barista, was super good! The atmosphere is really chill and they have hand sanitizer available in some corners. I highly recommended this place.
I hate to give this place 2 stars because I really had high hopes... my friend and I went this morning (may 8th) and I ordered a tea and a cookie. The guy who took my drink order was very nice however the girl was not. She didn’t say a word to me the whole time. The cookie I got was kinda stale but still good. The girl in the front just really messed up our experience. Willing to try again though
Cute funky coffee bar they where a little shortOn breakfast muffins.befire pandemic had a weekly out door market call about. Great venders
This is the best coffee shop in Orlando, hands down. There is none quite like it anywhere else. The people, the drinks, the aesthetic--all of it fantastic--but the best part is the community this place has created. It is a home for travelers and dreamers and the ones burning like roman candles in the sky. And if youre lucky, part of its magic stays with you wherever you go.
Coolest cafe atmosphere with hella nice staff and a huge appreciation for art. Def worth coming here!
This coffee shop has the quirkiest setup, and seems to admire its own vintage atmosphere. Theres an amazing amount of seating, and a curious amount of pictures on the wall to look at. Before ordering my drink, I browsed the in-shop bookstore. The books were weird and pretentious; theyre obviously there for the coffee shop aesthetic, not for good reads. I ordered a hot chocolate, and when I grabbed the cup, it was scalding. It took a few minutes to cool down, but it tasted mediocre once it came down from boiling point. Each person here seemed to be a local; each on their laptops or in their books, working diligently. I recommend any local or the determined, coffee-obsessed tourist to check this place out.
Waited at the window for 10 minutes no one came to window to greet or to take order . I went inside to see if they would take my order only to be told she would help me back at the window only to wait again. nice to see people still dont give a flying F about their job. To many people stuck on autopilot or just dont give an F~ing F about the job that they are working great job.... where is the negative star button on this thing I cant find it. I think they should take down that stay negative sign down in the front or change it to say~ stay positive... an to the manager or owner of the business that might be reading this yes its a nice chill place but dont say anything to her because when I go back I dont want her to hate my guts an put something in my tea or coffee or whatever this will be our little secret.
I used to love coming here but recently the wifi is so bad I can’t even open an email. Great place to work if they get faster wifi. Need to bring food back it was delish. Drinks leave something to be desired.
One of my favorite coffee places in Winter Park!
My favorite study place. Fuss free with a large vegan and plant based menu. Lots of books for sale and outlets to boot. Lots of drink choices and a full bar. Plenty of room so even if you come on an event night, you can always move to a quiet space. Dog friendly, bike friendly, and super study friendly. Do it.
I often come here and the service is always rude. I came on 02/24/21 @ 5pm. I ordered my drink that I usually get here and the person acted like they didnt know what it was. Whats embarrassing is i brought family that was visiting from California and to have nasty service at a cute spot really ruins it.A simple sorry doesnt cut it when the service has been bad for years. At this point youre just letting it happen. I can see why local Orlando complains about this spot.
It was good. I liked it.
Dark and gloomy inside plus the wifi was spotty
Great atmosphere :) except the strangely bitter & rude lady who makes the atmosphere unwelcoming but once you go right past & enter a room full of lanterns, books, & art its ethereal
Awesome place to lose yourself in a book and get coffee.
Cool place...but rude service. I guess its cool to be nasty to someone? Id give it another chance because the coffee was good and the space was cool. But it wouldnt hurt to add in a dash of kindness ❤️
If you dont like this place, there are plenty of other coffee shops to absorb you. This is an Orlando establishment for the last two decades. Best black coffee in town. Amazing how many people walk into a uniquely decorated and designed place but expect the service to be like Starbucks or the food to be fast. Learn the history of the place first. Approach it like a work of contemporary art that challenges your conventional expectations.
Im annoyed I have to even give this place 1 star instead of 0. Absolutely disgusting customer service - very snooty baristas who just glare at or roll eyes as you’re trying to order. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and have over looked the service and eye rolls cause I liked the place and thought it was edgy to accept this behavior, I have brought my family and friends for years, and even have had birthday parties here but after a very horrid customer experience with a barista I will NEVER come back and will tell everyone I know about this encounter so that they never come back. The barista at the bar belittled me after I asked if anyone was in the front since I waited 15 min. It was so embarrassing and belittling because she did this in front of other customers that heard and looked freaked out. I’m a super easy customer, never complain and always tip 20% on coffee. Instead of just saying I’ll be there in a min, the barista said “I’m standing here and not at the front so how would you like me to be in 2 places at once”. I’ve been going across the street to Lobos - way better customer service and you won’t have to put up with any attitude. You are paying for a service! No one deserves to get treated badly when paying for a service!
I love this place, but you know what would make it better? If the employees had a personality.
Food is decent. Environment is cool, but service and friendliness is not really a thing here. Every single time I am in the area and go to this place, people who work there at the cash counter always seem to not care or are just so rude. Not something I want to experience again—not a place I want to spend my money. Not very pleasing for a paying customer.I just hope whoever is in charge can coach or let their employees understand that customer service seriously impacts their tip, as well as the reputation of their business. The cafe setting is neat, minus the moodiness and rudeness.
Cafe food, yeah, super satisfying. I wish there were more places like this around town. The staff was friendly and sociable. Prices were decent. Wish it was closer to my house, I would come every week.
Great coffee shop and hang out spot with tons of menu and drink options as well as books, videos, and vinyl.
Very cool vibe.
This is one of the hipsterest places Ive ever been in my entire life. Every spot looks different and even the chairs wont repeat designs. Food is great -basically healthy, vegetarian and vegan options available, but they also have some options with chicken. Dishes are freshly made so you have to wait around 15-25mins for it to be ready and they take cash only in the food area. (At least the 3 times that I’ve order food)Bar has a great variety of options both beers and cocktails and also you can request any particular drink you want (the bargirl will prepare it if they have the ingredients there).
One of my favorite coffee shops around!
Dim lights, great atmosphere, love getting work done here.Coffee and vegan cookies were awesome.Wifi also works pretty well.
Great staff, excellent coffee.
Good vibs all around
Been coming here for years because it is the closest coffee shop to me. I really love the spot, and the food is decent. I hate the service there, it is the worst Ive experienced in Orlando and that is saying something. I remember one time I ordered waffles, and the blonde lady forgot to give it to me, so I ordered something else and she still made me pay for the new item as if it was my fault. Today, I waited at the counter north of 15 minutes, the guy in the back just looked at me and then just kept doing whatever he was doing, without even telling me that the person in the front was in the bathroom I presume. The only nice people that work there is the girl with the black pixie cut hair and the guy who owns the place. This place really is amazing, but the service is so bad it pisses me off.
I enjoy Stardust for both their delicious coffee and the vast amount of available seating inside and outside. This coffee shop is a nice place to hang out with friends or to study for extended periods of time. I recommend grabbing a seat early in the morning, though, because this place is popular!
Silence and vintage coffee shop.
Offered someone my seat as I was leaving, remarking that it was the best seat in the joint, and I was met with pure disdain about how he already knew that as hed been coming there a lot longer than me. Perfectly encapsulates the vibe of the place. Dont get me wrong, its not bad place, but you have to put up with some obnoxious folks (sometime patrons, sometimes employees) every now and then.
A cool place to hang out and drink coffee and eat some good food.
My top scene for cafe food. ill return friends next time. the bill was reasonable.
This is one of my favorite spots to study during the day among the eccentric decor and homey vibes. Still havent checked out the bar but thats on the list!
I saw the reviews about the rude service but figured Id give them the benefit of the doubt. Boy was that the wrong call. Literally the worst customer service Ive ever encountered. The barista was so mean for no reason.
Fun, funky local place. Good food, good coffee and tea and good drinks at the bar. Service is slow but that is part of the vibe. If you like beer try the St. Bernard us on tap. It is a dark Belgian beer but is not at all bitter!
You catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar. I’ve come here Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday this week and every day the cashier is in a bad mood. Today was no exception as she was extra bitter and even slammed the window shut in my face in the middle of me wishing her a better day. Someone please teach these ladies that their customer service directly impacts their tip.
The culture, the vibe, everything about this place is just incredibly vibrant and open. You can go to enjoy a latte, work on a project or you can go to experience the culture of open mic night. Perfect spot for almost every occasion if you enjoy relaxing vibes. Date nights, study days, relaxing evenings, meeting new people. Very happy to have found this place.
I still love this place even cept I feel old in my early twenties here 😤
Super eclectic! I love the idea of having a little theater stage inside
