Was my first buy on gold coin and bars, easy to deal, fair price and gentle staff. They helped me about the gold coins and bar machine tester, I bought it online later, retested all my gold, all great, 100% real. I’m really happy! For sure I’ll do business again with them.

Don’t waste your time with this shop. I inherited a small collection from my grandmother several years ago and happened upon Orlando coin exchange. They were incredible, explained what I had and purchased several items from me. Fast forward to today. I went to the shop and the door was locked with a sign saying that I had to call a number for an appointment. This made since to me during covid times. So, from their in their parking lot I called the number and was given to someone named Jose. He required that I copy down a cell phone number and take photos of my collection from my car while sitting in their empty parking lot. The response I received was shocking to say the least. It had nothing to do with covid. Jose, stated via text they were not interested in even letting me in the door because my collection was not large enough and wasn’t worth her time. He went onto say; “Imagine spending all day and work and not getting paid for your time. Thats what we did for 6 years for thousands of customers. We just couldnt operate like that anymore” (copied from his text). This shop has only their bottom line in mind would rather text from behind a locked door than helping someone parked outside in an empty parking lot during their posted business hours.I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau over this discriminatory process. There are many other Coin brokers in the city I would suggest any of them over Orlando Coin Exchange.

This was not only my first experience with this dealer but also the first time I purchased gold bullion. I went with them based on their years of experience and reputation and I was not disappointed. I have bought silver before and I know enough to know what to look for, but being inexperienced with gold, I also felt a bit vulnerable. It was clear to me that my vulnerability was not taken advantage of. They used their machine right in front of me and fulfilled every request I had from weighing it, to letting me have a good look at it out of plastic with my own hands. They were patient and understanding considering Im sure they get lots of skeptical customers. The premium was very reasonable and about $20 below what youd find from JM Bullion.I personally like how they do things by appointment only (which is also how I operate my own business selling computers), because everyone feels safer knowing what to expect and being buzzed in. I showed up a bit late for business reasons, and they were super accommodating (although I did let them know in advance). Very happy with the experience overall, and I will definitely be back.

The guys there were friendly but I stated to them I was not very familiar with the coin industry and I wanted a proper evaluation on my coins after looking at them he said I had a couple good ones but the rest were not as valuable as them he ended up telling me he would give me 300$ for the lot but I turned it down so I could weigh my options the very next day I went to another coin shop on curry Ford and they valued the lot at 700$ I was glad I didn’t take this places deal because I felt like they took advantage of my knowledge. The lot included a BU shield nickle, a BU seated liberty half Dime, and a AU 20 cent 1875 but not limited to only these I had plenty more. Maby it was my fault trusting them for a fair evaluation after telling them I wasn’t very experienced. ———To add to this after reading the response from the business I was wrong to automatically assume they took advantage of me I was honestly just assuming that was the case they treated me fair and they do not deserve 1 star after all it is just business And you only invest in something you feel you can profit off of in the future though I was offered 700$ from another place Orlando coin exchange is recommended by a lot of people and places so they are definitely a great place to go. I don’t know why they offered me such a low price but then again I did not try to negotiate. I apologize for the assumption. You guys were fair with me.

I highly recommend them for selling coins to. Ive taken coins in 3 times now. Silver Proof sets, Proof sets and various graded coins that I had collected over the years and some my father left me. They were very professional and explained the pricing, looking up the value of the coins and making a fair offer. I had looked up the value online and the prices they used were in line with what I had. I wont hesitate to go back if I find anymore of value in what I still have left to go through.

I dealt with them today in person and over the phone about a week ago. In a nutshell, the Orlando Coin Exchange is a first class operation. They are fair, knowledgeable, and honest. I highly recommend them! Pawn shops are generally a rip off, these folks are not a pawn shop whatsoever. I dealt with A similar operation in Fort Lauderdale but I could not find anything like that here in Melbourne Florida where I live so I drove to Orlando with my wife who had to go to Orlando today, so I rode along to deal with this organization and was very happy that I did. I went here twice. The first time was to get my silver coins valued. They gave me a price according to the price of silver at market value and were fair and didnt pressure me into selling. I ended up selling some of my coins and they said I can always come back. So I did end up going back when the price of silver went up. They gave me another fair price and I got another higher than it was valued the last time I was there. These people are very nice and fair. Highly recommend

I bought a 1921 peace dollar for only $50, thats so good for the original value posted by Whitman, then I got 3 more peace dollars for $17 each, thats way more than a yes-yes! It totaled $101, but the owner decided that hell take it for just $100... I called on my cell phone while standing in front of the store I explained I did not know I needed an appointment. I was fortunate that Jose and Jason had the time and were able to help me. They were great and I have continued to take my business to them. Just a note, I have been in the store when people have approached without an appointment and Jason very professionally and nicely explained that they were booked and could not accept any more clients. I called first and explained what I had and was told they would be interested in looking at it and to make an appointment.I showed up at my appointment time a few days later and they were ready for me and started looking at the coins I had brought.They were very thorough with inspecting the coins and gave a fair price to purchase the coins from me. I was in Orlando on a vacation and saw this coin store. I had 5 Kids with me and the door clearly was marked appointment only. It is clear from the negative reviews that they do not make exceptions, but they open the door for us because they thought I was someone who made an appointment. Even though I was clearly in the wrong and did not expect them to help me, the employee was very kind and explained that they are by appointment only. He still took time from helping the customer who had clearly made an appointment and was being helped to show and give a brief history of some coins to the 5 children who were with me. He gave them each some coins and made their day. I could clearly see they cared about their customers and enjoyed taking care of their needs. I have been to many coin stores and I would highly suggest this location! It appears as though most of the negative reviews are from the appointment only policy, I hate to see a business that cares for their customers get poor reviews because people (like me) didn’t do research before going.
