I was pleased with my experience initially, until I actually had the car and the paperwork was signed. However, this experience with Coggin will make sure I NEVER purchase a car in this way again.When it came to pre-purchase customer service, they were fine. I live several hours away and found the car I liked that they were willing to deliver (a 2014 Honda Odyssey). Jeff Palmer and Sam O’Neill kept consistent contact with me. I was concerned about purchasing a car sight unseen, but was assured SEVERAL TIMES by Jeff, Sean, and Andres that they have a very thorough and rigorous inspection on all vehicles prior to being listed.Once they delivered the car, however, everything changed. They delivered on Thursday around 2pm, and after the paperwork was signed I left to get my children from school around 2:40. During that FIRST drive, the check engine light came on. I contacted Jeff with the picture, and his only response was essentially “well it wasn’t on when we drove it to you.” We cleared the code in hopes that it was a fluke, and it immediately came back on the next time I drove it. I contacted Sean to let him know that I was VERY unhappy that I had the car for less than 24 hours and it was already having engine issues (not only that, but the vehicle seems to stutter a bit when I am only touching the gas pedal, instead of keeping a constant speed - which I told Sean.) Sean called me the next day and advised me that since I couldn’t get to them, to go to my nearest dealership, and mentioned it was usually over $100 for diagnostics. I told him that I can’t afford that just to get diagnostics done on a car that I have had less than two days. Though I live several hours away, Coggin should be willing to make sure my car is in the condition that they assured it would be in. Sean said that the only way they could help me is if I went to any of THEIR dealerships, which are 4, 5, and 6 hours away. Whether I take it to my local Honda dealership or to my regular privately owned mechanic, I would expect that, as a reputable dealer, Coggin would be willing to pay for the repairs needed since I clearly cannot drive back to their dealership with the issues the car has.My husband checked the engine codes, which indicated that the EVAP purge solenoid was having issues, he popped the hood and visually inspected the solenoid. The connection was clean and no issues. Hoses seemed to not have any leaks as well. So after the visual inspection, the decision to replace the solenoid (at our expense) was made for tomorrow and he was about to close the hood when he noticed something. The power steering reservoir was just crammed in between the various hoses and not secured in place with the mounting clip on the frame. He checked the fluid level and made sure that it wasn’t leaking or worn anywhere from the friction of rubbing up against all the other surrounding components that also shared that part of the engine bay. It is now secured in its proper place, but seems odd that something as simple as that would be missed, after the vehicle was just inspected and cleared for sale before being driven hours to be delivered with the assurance that everything was 100% checked and passed their comprehensive inspection process. It’s also very difficult to believe in the reassurance that was given regarding the mechanically sound inspection, that was apparently done before giving it the stamp of approval to actually be sold. It’s also very frustrating to know that this vehicle is probably going to have to be reinspected at a local Honda dealership, at our cost, in order to get the mechanically sound vehicle that we were promised before delivery.I’m incredibly angry that the finance paperwork hasn’t even been FILED with my bank, and the dealership has washed their hands of all responsibility toward a vehicle that I was assured was thoroughly inspected and vetted, when it was CLEARLY not.

Although my visit was extremely long - more than 4 hrs - the service was great.I want to compliment Gus Ramirez. He was doing twice the work, apparently another associate had a family emergency and Gus had to handle twice as many clients. He really was terrific. He remained professional and courteous throughout my visit. He keep me informed with every step being done to my vehicle.. Kudos for Mr. Ramirez.Thank you

This place only gets a 5 star rating because of service advisor Chris. Whenever I have an issue he is able to resolve it without grief, if there is something he cant resolve he goes to his peers to ensure a satisfactory experience. Coggin Honda would be in complete disarray if not for Chris. I hope they value and appreciate all your hard work.

We had our odyssey serviced with Carlos Mateo and he is truly the best! He went above and beyond. When we had to get extra work done, he researched and found that we still had an extended warranty in effect. Saved us a lot of money! Very honest and helpful.

Look at the photos. These are seats of a 2020 Honda with upgraded Leather Seats. We went to another Honda dealer and showed it to them, and we were told that this paper-thin inferior leather is not what they (Honda) uses as standard. We have been calling Honda Coggin and they are always in meetings ... Someone will call you back ... nobody ever does. I weigh 130 lbs. We dont have pets in the car. All I do is SIT ON THE SEAT. There is no reason why it should tear like this. The driver seat is the worst; but the passenger seat is already tearing ... I cannot express my frustration about a car that I just bought a year ago and the lack of support we are receiving.

I always take my Honda Civic to Coggin Honda of Orlando for any routine maintenance or issues. I do not live close, but I go out of my way because I know that I can get reliable service there and usually they offer specials on routine maintenance or inspections. I also enjoy waiting in their waiting area because they have comfy chairs and movies playing to pass the time. They also usually have complimentary snacks and coffee. I most recently went to get my oil changed, and my service advisor was Madison. I hadnt been in a while since I am not driving as often working from home, but he ensured my vehicle was taken care of and provided efficient and courteous service. He also updated me with any other routine maintenance my vehicle might be due for and informed me of any specials Coggin Honda was offering. I will definitely continue to take my vehicle here because I always receive friendly and reliable service.

Was visiting Orlando from out of town when my engine light came on. Madison helped me out quickly and was very understanding of the time sensitive since I had to drop my friend to their flight within two days. Would definitely recommend this Honda to anyone and will stop by again if I have any other problems the next time I’m in the area!

He listened to our concerns and provided clear repeat back on the scope of requested service, as well as identifying those additional inspections provided in the shop. When additional scope was identified, he called to discuss the condition, offer options and identify choices that would control cost. The work was done rapidly and returned as he promised, despite the change in scope. One of the best dealer service experiences I’ve had in years.

Let me start by saying this Honda has a great team especially Luisa Gonzalez who went above and beyond to get me my car and make sure my buying experience was the best !From Kelby to Luisa to even the finance team coggin Honda has been phenomenal . I got the exact car I wanted for a good deal and on top of that a good deal for my trade in ! before coggin I felt like most dealers are cut throat and only interested in profits but Luisa really showed me some car sales men/woman really do care about seeing their customers happy ! Covid times have made getting new cars a process and putting a deposit down for a car you don’t even see can be difficult but Luisa every step of the way gave me updates and was always kind and professional and even made sure I got my exact color and model ! Resorts World was everything and more. Great room and staff, clean amenities. Many food options in the food court. Like 19 pools with different atmospheres. On the strip and close to everything. Casino was well designed. Historic art around the hotel, Liberace pieces were highlighted the week I was there. Drone light shows right outside our hotel room window.Recommend. Will stay here again next time I go to Vegas.

I was waiting inside, in a very quite great room that Honda has it, they sent me an email that my My car needs an extra work in my car and I ask Joey and he explained me everything with patient .. And then when he came with the paper work, explained again what they did to the car. Please be careful if you’re buying used cars. I put down 1k so they can bring me a car from one of their sister dealerships. The car was used and oddly priced a bit lower than the rest of the market. It appeared to have an accident but salesperson Luisa Claimed it was the airbags that deployed and replaced. Everything was intact. The car was going to take 2 days to get here. I went home the next day and had the VIN and searched up the car. The car was in a bad accident with the bumper replaced. The car was auction for 6k. Once the car was fixed it sold for 13k. That same dealership had it and sold for 16k in March this year and now that same dealership again is selling the car for 20k!!! I’m sorry but how did the value go up when the car has that history. No original pieces. More miles on it. Nothing was upgraded. It’s for a 2020 Nissan Kicks SV listed for 20k. Do not buy this car for this price. It should be sold for max 15k. They’re claiming they won’t refund me my 1k but I never sign any paperwork. No where did I sign saying the money I’m paying is non refundable. Never again coming here. If you buy a used car please look up the VIN number. You can the whole entire history. More than CarMaxUpdate: will be getting my money by a check in 5 business days. Manager was nice and understanding but sales person Luisa completely gave me attitude when I asked how I was going to get my refund. Not my fault I asked you about the car and you didn’t give me the correct information.Learn about the car first before you start giving false information.

I had a great time buying a used car. The process took 4 hours. The sales person and manager were not pushy or condescending. They advised me regarding best practices with my personal finances. They really listened to my needs and desires. I got more car than what I should have but boy was I happy!

My appointment was at 7:00 am to change only one handle on the door. They gave me the car for the first time at 12:35 pm to surprise the handle did not open so they went back to work on the car and I left almost at 1pm. 6 hours in total. They really worked 6 hours on the car or they just played with customers time.

My wife and I are new Coggin customers. We just had our initial service and it was everything we could want. We got in on time and were finished in less than an hour. Mathew, our Service Advisor, took the time to answer all our questions and made sure we were comfortable while the car was in the shop. After the car was washed, he reported the inspection results and checked us out himself which streamlined the whole experience. A nice final touch was his business card with an offer assist us with any questions or problems that might arise.

Had accord towed to Coggin being closest Honda dealer around. Received call first thing in the morning since car was dropped off after closing from Dave at Coggin to talk about issue with car. Dave communicated with me every step of the way which made me feel comfortable that I was in good hands. Glad it was just the battery and not the starter or alternator. Dave Manieram was great. I brought my daughter’s Honda Odyssey in for scheduled timing belt replacement. Dropped off and had repair completed early the next morning.When going to pick the Odyssey up, my Honda Accord was having trouble starting. Left my car at Honda. Checked, needed new battery. The service department at Coggin is in a word AMAZING! Unlike any other I’ve worked with in the past. Excellent communication and follow up. Even coordinated with the tech assigned to my work order to answer a few of my questions. Ingrid was terrific and I would highly suggest requesting her as you service rep for your next service. The service manager was excellent as well. Fadi contacted me personally after my service to make sure everything was OK. Everyone I worked with at Coggin was very attentive and were clearly focused on helping me with the service related to my car instead of just treating me like a number like a lot of other dealerships do. Todd Potts contacted me after I made an Internet search for a Honda Ridgeline Black Edition. He contacted me and told me that there was a Ridgeline Black Edition scheduled for build in Alabama. He sent me the details of the vehicle and trim package along with the Coggin Honda standard package. The only thing left was to put in the all weather mats, which would be put on order timed with the assembly schedule. I asked Todd if we could commit to the purchase with earnest money and he made that happen. As the days passed, Todd kept me well informed of the status and in early August, he called to tell me that the Ridgeline had been completed in Alabama and when it would be delivered and prepped at Coggin Honda. Right on time, we arrived at Coggin dealership and were greeted by Todd where we processed all the paperwork for title and license transfer, insurance, and all. Todd turned us over to Michael Fuentes who walked us through the financing and final sale. We got to take part in the final wipe down from detailing and got a walk-through on functions and features. Since we had been driving an Acura MDX since 2016, we were pretty familiar with Honda electronics, transmission interface, navigation and entertainment modules; so we really appreciated Todds custom briefing rather than a standard script. A flawless purchasing experience thanks to Todd and all the folks at Coggin Honda.

Had an appointment at 11:20 for and oil change….its 1:54 and Im still sitting here, this is something that should literally take 15 minutes. My car was not even inspected until 1:31 and they told me i needed $665.20 in repairs when i literally got this car fixed 2 weeks ago and it was completely fine.Definitely will not come back here ever again for service.

During our 1000 journey here for vacation, Honda Pilot threw a code for transmission. I called, but ultimately scheduled service for the next day online. Ingrid Rivera was our service writer and she was impeccable. As we found our torque converter needed replaced and to boot, it was on back order. We were scheduled to visit Disney the next day and boy did Ingrid come thru in the clutch, helping find a loaner car as well located the needed part locally for replacement. Our Disney experience went off without a hitch and the true magical experience was the dealer fixing the car by the next day. The last thing someone wants to be is stranded, a thousand miles from home, while you are suppose to be making magical memories. Ingrid helped my family continue on our vacation with minimal interruption. We appreciate you so much Ingrid Rivera, and all the people that helped make this repair a resounding success. I know that there are multiple facets to operating a service department, from writer, porter, cashier, parts and technicians. Thanks to all of you for your contribution and help. It sounds cheesy, but you truly helped a family that missed a vacation last year and finally have an amazing one this year!!

Extremely pleased with the professionalism and care that was given to me and my CR-V after an unexpected fuel pump failure. (Should have had the recall done earlier!)Very informative and direct over the phone. Was kept in the loop throughout the whole process of having my car maintenance completed. They did a recall repair (fuel pump) on my car for free which was greatly appreciated and I got an oil change and was supposed to get a tire rotation. The whole thing took about 3 hours and my advisor was friendly and very communicative. Only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 5 is because one of the main reasons I went in was for a tire rotation and they didn’t do it, even though they put it on the bill.

George Mathis is one of a kind. His Customer service is impeccable. From the time we connected with him regarding our broken windshield. He lead my wife and I throughout the process. I have been to 5 other dealerships of different brands shopping around for a new car, I was not expecting to receive such great customer service like I did at Coggin Honda when I sat down to speak to the sales team of Pamela and Nic Bravo. From the moment I entered and was greeted by the rep at the kiosk to the introduction of the sales reps it was such a warm and awesome feeling they provided. Thursday, Coggin Honda took me right away for an oil change & rotation when I called at 3:30pm. I had arrived at 2:50pm at Classic Honda and was led by the greeter toToms desk and was told to take a seat and he would get to me in a couple minutes. Well I sat there for 30 minutes as he continually made phone call after phone call and chatted casually with other associates. Another associate saw that I was getting upset seeing clients after client who had just driven up come in and get an associate to talk to. I told him my situation and he looked at the schedule and said I would need to schedule for service and the earliest was Thur of next week. Asked if he could call another Honda dealership. Was told All of them would not be able to take me due to being under staffed and very busy. Called Coggin Honda who said they would take me right away. I was 30 minutes away. Arrived at 4pm. The greeter got me with a tech associate right there and then. Great service. Much better experience than Classic Honda hands down.

We live in Lakeland and drove over to Orlando to test drive a used Subaru Forester after finding it on the internet at Coggin Honda. (Thanks, Sean ONeill, internet manager for the frank conversations, professionalism, and help.) Christian Febus, our salesman was warm, friendly, kind, and professional. With my husband having major health issues at the moment, Christian did everything he could to make the process easier and even delivered our car to us in Lakeland, once we made the purchase. We are not easy customers with our general distrust of car dealerships and dislike of the car buying process, but you could never tell that we were a challenge with Christians handling of the situation. He was thoughtful and kind, throughout, and infinitely patient and professional. Christian and Sean are real assets to Coggin Honda Orlando.

I scheduled service online and specified the types of service in detail. When I arrived for the appointment they had none of the details that I had submitted online and I had to go over the types of service that I wanted again. If you need to provide the detail in person why is it requested during the online service scheduling process. The service advisor, Yogi was professional and all requested service was completed in the timeframe provided at check in.

Had the best experience ever buying a car. Normally when I buy a car there is two things I dislike. 1: The seller is really insistent 2. The financial person is also intense. This time Luisa was the seller and she took the time to listen each one of my “requirement” on which car I wanted (Keep in mind I didn’t went with a car set on stone) and payments. She worked with me until I was completely satisfied. But not just that, the one I decided on taking was not in Orlando and she was able to get for me in less than 24 hours. That right there is Costumer Service A+. I would definitely give my business again to Luisa from Coggin Honda of Orlando.

My dad started going there 2 months ago. They treated him so fairly that when I purchased a odyssey from a different location. I brought it in to get the once over. Boy was I surprised what they found. It honestly made me feel comfortable and safe. I have two small children and wanted a reliable vehicle. They made sure it happened. I came to this dealership after driving from GA. My car was smoking because it was out of coolant and I wanted them to assess my car. As soon as I got there, the first thing the employee said was “this is such a great car, if I was you I wouldn’t sell it.” He continued to rave about how hard it is to find a v6. I told him my complaints and he checked me in. After 5 hours of waiting, he called to inform me that my transmission has an internal error with it and that I should leave my car over the weekend and someone will give me an estimate by Monday. He estimated that it would cost me $3,000+ to have to this done. I decided to instead pick my car up and not go through with that. He insisted if I take my car, I wouldn’t make it a 10 minute drive before my car breaks down. I instead made it home back to GA with 0 issues. I had my car checked in GA and there was nothing wrong with the transmission. I called the service manager George and he completely disregarded my complaints. He insisted that his men were correct. In all, be careful of this dealership as their services are definitely fraudulent. I understand that all businesses are suffering in a pandemic but trying to scam a 25 year old girl to pay an unnecessary $3,000 is not at all a solution.

He patiently explained, let me know what was the problem, and what I need done. I normally dont do reviews, however my experience was so horrible that I almost felt compelled to write one. I called and scheduled an oil change for my 2017 Honda Accord for 9:00AM the prior day. On appointment day I arrived at 8:45AM. I was all checked in by 9:00AM-ish and was told to have a seat in the Coggin Honda of Orlandos sitting area; everything was sounding great.As Ive done my own car oil changes in the past, I know for a fact it doesnt take long at all. And at a service facility/garage with the equipment ie a hydraulic jack to lift the whole car, etc, that process should be no more than 10-15 minutes tops.So the question is why am I walking outside away from the Coggin Honda of Orlandos sitting area at 10:15AM inquiring about the status of an oil change that I should have been done and me on the road since 9:30AM (and 9:30AM I believe is very generous to be frank).When I called the day before I scheduled the appointment, I asked the representative if they take walk-in appointments. She responded saying it was better to have a scheduled appointment as it would have been too busy to just come in unscheduled.So in conclusion, I arrived at Coggin Honda of Orlando at 8:45AM for a scheduled oil change appointment for 9:00AM and ended up leaving at 11:00AM for an oil change that should have taken like 10-minutes. NEVER will I return to Coggin Honda of Orlando for any service. And if I could have given negative stars vice the one star, I would have.

Our salesperson was Nick bravo he is very professional and amazing to work with through the buying experience. On 3/22 Got a oil change and wheel balance since I had a slight vibration and now its actually worse afterwards. Also heard a binding sound (possibly due to over torqued wheels).-Update. Wheels are WAY OVER torqued than to factory OEM specs. (80ft/lbs) BUT INSTEAD 210lb/ft for the left front driver wheel. Over 260lbs in the rear.(tested it with a digital torque wrench)Front right wheel was hand tightened. Less than 40ft/lbs.One of my lugs completely stripped aswell. Took about 45mins to completely get the lug nuts off.Left with gouged wheels.3/23 Called service writer and left a voicemail.3/24 Sent Bob an email (no response)3/25 Called and left the Service manager a voicemail.Received a call back but left no voicemail. Also left a voicemail to Bob as well.Bob calls me back telling me that they had photos of my damaged wheels beforehand Neglects the fact that the tech that put my wheels on put 3-4x the recommended forced needed to put a wheel on and one wheels lugnuts were pretty much hand tightened.3/27 got a call back from Service manager. Offered to retorque my wheels back to spec and apologized about the situation. (Tried to make amends for the next service)(seeing how badly they messed up a simple service/routine like this I would never come back or recommend this dealership)

There was a small line ahead of me, one of the gentleman came over greeted me apologized for the wait which wasn’t bad at all and told me my technician Dave would be taking care of me shortly I really appreciated that and only wish I had gotten his name!! Excellent customer service!! As promised Dave came right over introduced himself and told me exactly what to expect and the price He recommend to rotate the tires and explained why He even gave me a $10.00 coupon off!! Overall, we are happy with our purchase with only a few issues. The dealership had the Honda Odyssey in the right trim level and color we wanted when other dealerships did not. The sales associate was friendly and the dealership was clean. The issues we had were:1. The dealership did not fill the new car up with gas? We only noticed after driving 15 min away that they only put 1/4 tank of gas in. Even the window sticker says it will include a full tank of gas. Not a big deal, but disappointing.2. They tried to include a $2900 charge above sticker for window tinting and a trunk mat that I did not ask for.3. The process took way too long (over 3.5 hours) when the sales associate told us the car will be ready in 15 minutes.4. They tried to hard sell us on an extra warranty on a brand new car?

I had an oil change appointment at 1:20 pm, I had to wait in the car for more than 15 mins until finally someone approached me and took my info. Then I had to wait for two and half hours for a simple oil change, it is kind of ridiculous. This is not the first time time I had to wait this long for a simple oil change. I asked the adviser why it takes so long even with an appointment. He told me that having an appointment does not expídete things it just guarantees to be served the same day.

Let me first say that I bought my 2018 Accord here and have had routine service done here many times and those experiences have been fine. Wait times are usually longer than what they say but the waiting area is nice so Im able to get work done so the wait normally doesnt really bother me.This most recent experience however was HORRIBLE. My Accord was making a weird sound so I made an appointment at Coggin. Service Advisor Gil was able to quickly diagnose the sound but said they still need to do the multi-point inspection for $99.95 (plus taxes and shop fees) but as long as I get the service at Coggin, that amount will be deducted from the final bill.After the 2+ hour inspection, I received a quote for the repair which seemed high. I asked if they could do any better and they quickly came back with a $50+ savings off that. I appreciated that but it kind of makes you think about their initial pricing markups. The part I needed was due in next day so I checked out and paid $116.57 for the inspection and left.I called in the following morning and the part was received and they said it will take a couple hours to do the repair.The service took over FIVE HOURS. I understand they were busy but what made the experience worse was that my service advisor was hard to get a hold of and when I did get in front of him, he kept blowing me off saying its almost done. I would have been fine if he was up front with me and was proactive in telling me that its taking longer than expected.To cap it all off, at checkout, the shop fees and taxes from the previous inspection did not come off the final bill. I understand that shop fees are a part of every dealership bill but my argument is that if they had the part in stock, I would not have been charged TWICE. I was honestly there so long that I needed to leave and didnt have time to fight them about the pricing. I ended up spending MORE than agreed upon.I will never take my car back to Coggin for service again.

Never got a call back on the courtesy vehicle to pick me up for one hour, when I called then they said another hour. When I got to the dealership and waited about ten minutes I asked David M if he knew where Carlos was. His answer was no. Not I will get him, find out where he was or I will help you - just no. All he said was no and went back to what he was doing. I asked him if he could locate Carlos and he didnt. He is a problem. Then the $10 for booking order online was not included when checking out. I paid and the asked where the vehicle was. The women cashier said it could be over the other side of wall or behind the service area. Not telling me where it was. Recently I was able to have an extra key made for my Honda Pilot due to the separation of the key and remote. This would now give me two keys which was my intention in response to loosing keys often. Now I go to use the first key that is separated and it doesnt work for the vehicle. I needed to have two keys for my vehicle. If I had been informed that the separated key is useless, I would have saved the Cash. Now im out of $150 for a key + time and travel. resulting in me having to have my car towed to a dealership to have a key re-programed. No Warranty Discount offer or explanation just more money out the window.
