Should be zero, I asked them to pick up my mower and they did without leaving a note or knocking on the door I wondering if it was stolen. I called after 2 weeks and asked the status, the manager Pete said they were in busy season and had more important people to service first. I would not have let them pick it up if I knew that. I called back the next week and asked for a status again and they still had not gotten to it. I ask to have it brought back. I gave them my credit card to pay for pickup and delivery. The Pete called back and said the owner said I had to pick up the mower myself. So after 3 weeks and no communication from them I picked it up and am were I was a month ago. Said thing for them was I told them I was buying a used mower to specifically test there customer service before buying a $4000 mower they definitely failed. I would strongly recommend not going there they will take you money and not deliver.

Great experience buying my first commercial mower, weedeater, and blower. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I shopped many places and brands and then came home to our local shop. Im glad I did. Sincere and highly helpful service. Id recommend them to my family. Did I mention how much I love all my new equipment?Edit:After 3 months and stopping in several times, I must say that I feel like Im just another dollar for these people. I asked fo a couple accessories for my mower when I purchased it and all I get from them is yeah, yeah, yeah, I’ll call you. The equipment is definitely good quality (Toro and Stihl) but the customer service can use some improvement. Im not going to give them anymore business. Ill drive 20 miles if I have to.

Took my mower here constantly. Service left the cap off of the transmission, causing it to destroy the driveshaft. Maintenance was also probably never done. Overcharging for subpar service. A zero star review would be more appropriate if possible.

I stopped in today for a part, which they didnt have. But what they did have was excellent customer service. The lady behind the counter came out to the car with me, brought me a wet paper towel for my greasy hands, and showed me how to read the pertinent information off of my mower to order the air filter I needed. I cant attest to their repair service, but I can tell you that I am blown away by the kindness and professionalism I was shown today. Highly recommend this business.

Do NOT spend your money here !!Purchased a new Toro Zero Turn mower from Eastside. Noticed that it had an issue with the front end not being balanced. Took unit back and left it for 2.5 days with service after using it only 1 time. All they did was put 32psi in rear tires(max 22psi) to try and compensate, then told me nothing was wrong with unit. Talked with Tom, the owner, about just replacing the unit with another but all he did was brag about how many mowers he sells and that he is a big deal with Toro. According to Toro however, his dealership is one piece of plankton floating in the vast ocean waters. He then went on to say his techs found nothing and would not swap out unit which had .5 hrs on it.Decided to take unit to Main Street Mower whom were VERY helpful. Talked with several of the techs about issue. Left mower and within 3 hrs, they figured out that front end was assembled incorrectly from the factory and had it back to me the same day. Please DO NOT waste your time or hard earned money here. Eastside should not be selling or repairing mowers.

So I took my Stihl 192 climbing saw here just to get the chain sharpened and they decided themselves to replace the sprocket... ok didn’t ask for it but I paid. So the next day I go to start my saw and it will not turn over... just to let you know I take excellent care of my chain saws, I baby them. So when I returned my saw all the sudden they tell me the head is blown and offer a discount on a new saw... there was absolutely nothing wrong with my saw when I took it in. It would start on the first pull every time. I never asked for a new sprocket and don’t know by they took it upon themselves to do it without permission. These people are trash and don’t know what they are doing or know and are ripping me off to get more money out of me. Don’t go here almost more honest people around town to do business with.

I received the worst service here. When you pay to have something fixed here by the mechanic it would get fixed but it does not. Not only did I have to hire another mechanic to fix my equipment but when I went to go and complain that they had not fixed my equipment they said so. I would not go back here at all it is not worth the headache. The ace hardware mechanic did a better job and i got better customer service.

Eastside mower is a horrible company to have dealings with . Way too many negatives to list here. But to name a few...., They make promises that they do not keep, keep your mower for repair for weeks on end, and do not care about having your business. They never return calls and are in it to make a quick buck . You should take your business elsewhere rather than waste your time with them.

Was gonna get our mower at another place but after getting the run around from them we decided a 40 minute drive was worth it to go to East Side. Glad we did, everyone here is great! Their customer service deserves more than 5 stars. It was also cheaper than the first place we looked at!

HORRIBLE SERVICE - Zero communication, it took two weeks to let us know they couldnt fix our mower, kept putting us off on when to pick it up, then gave it back in worse condition than it started in (acted like we should just give it to them), so now WE have to put it back together to use it again. The biggest waste of $30 in my life, if I could give zero stars I would.

I have been going to this location since about 2011. Initially, I had a John Deere lawn tractor that I have always had serviced here. All has honestly been pretty good. I even bit the bullet and purchased a replacement mower in 2016 from this store. I paid about $5,000 for it. Long story short, I brought it in for service two days ago and the girl at the desk told me 1 1/2 weeks for service (Oil, blade sharpen, filter). I told them I have family coming and needed to cut lawn sooner so I wont leave it. The manager came out and stopped the girl and asked if I purchased the machine from them (yes). he then said, oh, you have to check that. He turned to me and told me two days. I said great. I left the machine and two days later I called them to pick it up. The girl now informs me that they needed to order some parts. I asked what parts because I was never informed of this. They said: air filter and new blades. Well, if they would have communicated with the customer, I asked them to sharpen the blades, not replace. I have a full set of brand new blades at home from when I bought the machine. The mechanic guy got a bit of an attitude as if they didnt need to communicate cost with the customer and just ordered stuff. Why would I need another set? Its now two days later and I need my machine. I asked her what now and she said I have to wait. I told her, forget it, I will just come pick it up. I get there and the mechanic from the back comes out and tries to explain to me what the girl had already explained and I said thats fine, I wish you guys would have done a better job communicating as I made my requirements clear and the day I was there, the expectations they set were also clear. He tried to go on and blame it on the manager for setting those expectations and that they were busy. I get it, then dont set those expectations. I told him I will just pay for what was done, take my machine, and leave my review of this experience. The mechanic then threw my paperwork on the counter and said, oh, you are gonna leave a bad review? Well you can just come back tomorrow and get your machine then. I asked him if he was serious and if he was going to stick with that, he said yes. So I told them I would call the Sheriffs Dept. to help me retrieve my machine. He said thats fine. So I called, they came, I paid my bill (which was fairly priced) and they ended up giving me my machine back. What a poor experience. This place was a good neighborhood place and the folks that worked there were great. Not sure what happened. The manager is actually the guy who sold me my machine and is a very nice guy. I would recommend the mechanic stick to fixing and let someone else handle the customer service. Just lost a customer who spent thousands at your location. Why did I have to call the Deputies to get MY machine back? Ridiculous!

Be careful when you have choose this place for warranty repairs. I let them pick up my brand new mower for a warranty repair and when they delivered my mower was another one. The decals were peeling off and I found an scratch on the engine plastic cover. I call the dealer and they told me they could not help me because that was not part of the warranty. They also told me that they storage all lawn mowers for repair on the outside. Pretty much do business with this dealer at your own risk.

Called to get a price on taking the old engine out and installing a new engine speciffically designed for a 61 inch cut, Scag, Turf Tiger.Their reply to me was that they have to order the engine. (That way they can mark it up for an extra profit). Only way they will work on the mower. While checking around with other mower companies, the going rate for 1, 1/2 to 2 hrs work varried between 180.00 to 200.00 dollars. No one else mandated that they had to purchase the engine. What a RIP-Off this company is! Stay the hell away from these Red-Necks. Based on the other negative reviews they have, it seems this company is going South fast. Read the other reviews and find a different company. Arrogant Imbeciles!

Dont waste your time going to these tiny, privately owned stores, because all you will get is a lot of rude, hostile, people working there. When you call, you get 1 price and when you enter the store, you get a higher price. Ridiculous, when they dont know their own prices. 40 years ago when people had class and great social skills, they would treat you with some degree of respect. I am so glad there are plenty of Home Depots, Lowes and Ace to put these little bird-house places out of business. You dont need to get a stihl product, cause there are other brands that you can buy with the same or better performance.

As My lawn mover was not starting. The mechanic (old Man) said he will charge me $30.00 for pickup and drop off and another $30 to do diagnostic. He also mentioned he does engine work if needed. Hence I trusted him and he took my lawn mover. After a few days he called me and mentions, looks like the crank is a POSSIBLE Problem and he dont work on that everything else seems to be fine.I was told that he work on engine, but then he says he dont. From day one when he picked up my lawn mover he knew the problem and I felt I got ripped of for $60.00.I definitely dont recommend this place. They say something and do something

Dropped our mower off for hydro problems. They told us that it needed a hydro motor. Sent my employee to pick it up and they only charged him for a new belt. We didnt get the hydro fixed yet. Got it back to our garage and was looking at the hydros ourselves. No belt. No belt on the mower, no belt was given to our employee. So my wife went back to pick up the belt that we paid for. They wanted to charge us more for clerical errors. I am sorry to hear that you made a mistake on the paid invoice. It was already paid for. We already paid for a new belt to which you still never gave to my wife. So there goes our business and here is my review of what seems shady to me.

First off, if you buy a Toro from a big box store you are an idiot. You need to have a relationship with a good shop so that when something goes wrong, or you have a question you will get a prompt response rather than press 9 for outdoor furniture. The guys at East Side do a great job and go out of their way for their customers. Some people also buy 39.99 trimmers from crapshitsu and expect the guys at East Side mower to have a carburator on hand and fix the machine by the next day. If its not a toro or stihl part they will most likely have to order it and there will be a delay unless you can find a crapshitsu dealer.Last night a spindle failed on my toro. I went in today at 9:01 am and Bradley was there and got me the spindle, the bolts and an air filter for my mower. He then stayed and helped me get the pulley and old spindle off the mower deck, which he did not need to do.I will be doing business with them for a long time.
