First experience I had with them was having a shear-shaft and gears rebuilt. Did great work and had the shear back in service for Cannon Welding in Jacksonville, FL.Second job was a truck frame swivel for an old 48 Dodge truck. BOTH jobs done reasonably and within the time frame promised.

Great shop that does quality work. Finished the work in a timely manner and ahead of schedule. Will definitely be getting more of my business in the future.

Quality work, but was up charged about 50%. I took a star off because I wasn’t told of the upcharge (stated it took longer to mill, which, if you are experienced, you already KNOW how long a job will take.) They lost a star because while I did provide the part I needed replicated, the hole at top was off center and needed to be opened. They did it when I arrived and inspected the part but the center is way off. Words of advice, if you know the job will cost the consumer more, just give them a call or heads up. Don’t shaft them with the bill at the end, it’s mad tacky. Potential to be great for sure, just need to communicate better.

...its real simple, if you have ah bad experience at the Sacketts...it on you big guy. 20 years of dealing with the family, never have I had ah bad experience. Prices are always reasonable, capable of handling jobs the bigger companys keep your project for weeks and still unable to perform the repairs. Will never use any one else! Had a flywheel machined for a genset flexible disc coupling, the work was excellent. They were very good about calling to go over all the options before making any cuts, and the work is exactly as specified.

Brought in a tool to change the threads to make compatible with my spindle did it within a day at a reasonable rate. I would highly recommend them

I went into the shop at the end of the workday on Friday with a broken part for my RV. The manufacturer wanted to charge me $1,600 to replace the entire component, and would not sell the part individually. Jim fabricated two copies of the part for me on Saturday morning for only $40. To say I was thrilled would be an understatement. Thank you for the excellent work, and thanks for getting us back on the road! I highly recommend this shop.

Chuck and the gang are the best! I have been a customer for over 15 years, and they never cease to amaze me. I have saved thousands of dollars using them to repair instead of replacing on items that I never thought would have a chance of being repaired. I cannot ever recall a time when Chuck has told me that cannot be fixed.

Dishonest took a pulley to be tapered the told me its going to take one hour to do the job and it will cost $100 call me two weeks after and charge me $213.00 and was very rude when I asked about the price he told me the one that I brought was the wrong one he bought a new one for $ 23.00 and had to tapered it and charge me to double the price

My experience with Sackett has been wonderful. Very nice people to deal with and that is the start. They fixed a Strut that had failed because of poor design and they did what I wanted. This has been a complete success for me. The strut was subjected to extreme conditions and it 100% survived more than I would had believed possible.Thanks guys Jim Guldi

Went in for a simple job of getting a hole machined. Got quoted for 3 hours of labor which equates to $255. The job got done a day late and when I went to pick it up Jeff tries to over charge me to a total of $300. I confronted the charges, he got upset and went on to walk off of the room calling me a cheap f***. They wont be seeing my business again. Horrible service.

One of the few versatile machine shops left. Theyve machined one off parts for me over the years and theyre a asset to Orlando to have.
