The food was really good. The portions were medium size. Food was a bit pricey. I will not be returning because they added 18% gratuity to the check without informing I almost left a tip without looking because I did not have my glasses. My friend inquired why the check was so much money and took a look and noted the 18% gratuity added. I wouldnt have minded if there was a note on the menu or something on the table but to me this is deceptive practice and cannot dine here again because of this.
I ordered here based on reviews and I was extremely disappointed. The chicken on the Caesar salad comes cold. Odd. The quality of the chicken was worse than fast food. The pizza sauce and pasta sauce tastes like a canned tomato sauce with no flavoring whatsoever.
I’ve been looking for a good pizza place in Orlando for 6 years. I’ve finally found it. This pizza is closest it gets to pizza from the north east. Forget Flippers, forget NYPD Pizza and forget Mia’s Pizza all down the road. This is place you need to go.
Delicious authentic Italian cuisine hidden in a quiet neighborhood strip plaza. We tried the garlic bread with cheese which was a real treat and a highlight of the entire experience. The spaghetti and meatballs was good but not amazing, and the Marsala sauce (which was recommended) was a bit thick and bland for our taste. Tiramisu is made in house and was fantastic! This is one of my favorite desserts and they definitely deliver here! Drinks were single serve from 20oz bottles served with cups of ice. Service was impeccable and our waiter was informative and attentive. The atmosphere was quiet, well lit, and enjoyable. Prices are on the high end of moderate. Expect to pay $13-20 a meal. All in all we were satisfied and will return to try the pizza!
I don’t usually write reviews but in this case, I had to. Their food was very good and delicious. The services was great and our hostess was amazing. He was so polite and made sure to check on the table and ask if everything was good and if we needed anything, Made small talk. Their lasagna was very good and enjoyed it very much and my boyfriend ordered chicken Parmesan also so good. The wait for the food was not long at all. I definitely would recommend. Since I’m on vacation I only went once but I’ll make sure to go back when I come back to Florida. Love the family own business.
Had the panuzzo sandwich. I had never had it and it was wonderful. Something a little different. Definitely will order again!’
Smallest large pizza ever, delivered at cool temperature. The mozzarella sticks were cold. Terrible.
I had a veggie pizza and it was amazing, the dough was great, the veggies were fresh and sauce was on point. I also ordered the Pesto fettuccine and carbonara fettuccine but they were not as good as the pizza, a little greasy and not enough flavor. Definitely ordering pizza from here again.
We had called before hand to see if they would accept walk in 8 of us…we were told that yes it will be fine! Once we went in and sat down I’m guessing the old man the owner or the manger really just told us in Spanish that he couldn’t serve us without any given reason! He only had about a table that was full inside and refusing us without any reason when we were told that it would be okay before coming in when we called. People just stay away not sure how this place has 4 stars
Honestly, the sauce on the pizza was lovely. Part of the meal was a Margherita Pizza. It was okay, but Ive had much better at a few other restaurants. The music playing made for a lovely atmosphere, but we found the pizza that we ordered lacking for the price paid. We did not receive any table-side service even though we were sitting for almost thirty minutes. I do acknowledge that we ordered take-out and not dine-in on the patio, but I would have expected some type of acknowledgement for three adults sitting and eating. Being visitors to the city, we would not return to this location unfortunately.
We ordered a large pizza after a day at Sea World. We tried ordering from several places and the wait times were long or nobody answered the phone so we tried Famas. Im so glad we did! The crust was thin and not soggy. The toppings were plentiful. Well be back!
Very nice and inviting atmosphere, the pesto pizza may have been the best pizza I have ever had in my lifetime. It may not look like much from the outside but Famas is a gem
As soon as we walked into the place we got such a heavy saturation of original Italian style fare and smells that matched, it was like we walked directly into Little Italy. We were greeted by a wonderful man by the name of George who gave us impeccable service the likes of which is rare to find nowadays. I ordered the baked ziti while my girl and I shared a vegetarian pizza pie, we then had tiramisu as well and I can tell you from being a cook previously at a made-from-scratch local Italian place this place is legit and would definitely recommend to everyone I know whenever they are in this area.
Terrible. The older man was wearing a mask under his nose but was yelling at us to wear our masks. Literally yelling from behind the bar. We all were wearing masks until we sat down. We ended up leaving. Table of 9. We went elsewhere.
I would rate this restaurant lower than 1 star if I could. This place is horrible! I ordered iced water and it wasn’t good. Beverages were served in bottles which means no refills; and our cheese stick appetizers were heated in a microwave. The air conditioner also leaked water right beside my table. It was just a horrible experience overall. Go somewhere else for a pleasant dining experience.
From out of town, I wasnt sure where to go for a good meal and I did not regret picking FAMAS....they have some of the best authentic Italian meals Ive ever had the pleasure of enjoying...small and inviting environment topped with great Sangria and Pizza is an Italian experience you wont want to miss!
Margarita Pizza, Greek salad and tiramisu was delicious!
The most expensive restaurant Ive been to in a long time. Not worth the money either.
Delicious restaurant! My family and I were visiting Orlando for a few days and went to Famas twice during our visit! The pizza and Chicken Piccata was delicious! The service was excellent as well. We will come back next time we visit!
The chicken parmesan was tough and the food was Luke warm.....I ordered through Slice and was told that it was my problem not theres!!!! I will NEVER ORDER FROM FAMAS AGAIN!!!! And I will blast this all over social media!!!
Do not eat here! Absolutely terrible food and incredibly rude service! Seriously though this place is the worst pizza shop in Orlando and possibly even Florida! Read the reviews and skip this place! Find another pizza shop where they don’t treat customers so poorly! Wish I could give this a ZERO stars!
The pizza was cold and when I called to complain that it was cold all I got was RUDE excuses of how it came out of the oven hot. Of course it came out OF THE OVEN HOT! How long did you let it sit before it was put in a box? I have recommend this pizza place to my hotel guest, I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND IT AGAIN! And it looks like they dont even care about the bad reviews, same generic answer for months for every bad review not even caring about what was actually wrong...
Best meal of our trip so far. Sit where you are told….
Great food and good service, we had pizza, salads, ziti, ravioli, toroliniand meatballs. Every thing was good.
40 minutes for plain jane pizza with minimal sauce. Was not worth the money or wait.
Excellent food and service. 100% Italian food
Pizza was good. Very impressed on how fast it was delivered. It came extremely hot and fresh. Glad to support the local guys.
We ordered pepperoni pizza and wings. Im gonna tell you about the wings. They were crispy. Oven baked, not fried. Nortdent. The weather is perfect. 2²
Pretty good fare. I had the manicotti with Alfredo sauce . The manicotti was pretty good. The Alfredo was weak. I bet the dish would have been excellent if I had stuck with the standard sauce, my mistake. The kids had the pizza. They describe it as a little better than dominoes. Service was very nice, friendly, polite, helpful with genuine recommendations and not just steering you the most expensive selections. I would eat here again, probably will this week.
Horrible service. Pizza over priced and much smaller than expected. Pizza was almost all Cheese. Tony yelled at me in front of other customers when I brought this to his attention. Extremely rude and actually said he hated tourists. Never go back.
Ordered today for the first time, awesome pizza ☺️🔥👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Great, flavorful Pizza! We got the Famas Signature pizza and added Ricotta. It was amazing!
Went there with friends owner waited on us this place is family owned mom and pops restaurant the owner was great had conversations with us multiple times the grilled chicken sub and homemade meatballs were the best I have had the chef did a great job of cooking the food I highly recommend this place
Food was okay. I felt like it was expensive for what it was though.
We were here a just over a year ago. We stopped in just by chance on the way to our hotel. Best Italian restaurant Ive ever been to! We are headed back to Orlando in the coming months and planning our stay near by because its all about the food. Kids and husband loved it all, we had leftovers and they were fantastic the next day too. Not over priced at all. Definitely recommend.
They have the best pizza and their crust is nice and crunchy!
The eggplant parmigiana was amazing!! Definitely would suggest to others.
Small, unpretentious Italian restaurant. Great food. Just right portions. Frank is a great host. If you like small family operated restaurants dont miss this one.
Best Italian food in the cityGreat serviceLarge wine list
I gotta give it a five. It’s not the best pizza, it’s good. They aren’t the best wings, they’re good. It’s not fancy but it’s clean. It doesn’t overlook the ocean but it does offer a great birds nest view of a golf course. It’s got outdoor seating and although Billy is not the finest wait staff he is pretty fricken cool! This is a great hidden gem and if you judge it before you try it, it’s your loss. Even driving into the parking lot you’ll need to trust all the great reviews.Go in, try one of the many great taps that rotate a lot.Sit at the bar, at a table or sit outside, it’s all good.I like the Italian sub and the wings but the pizza is good too!
Owner on site during our visit. Very friendly and courteous. Conversation with owner was awesome, chef was awesome. Food was excellent! Best Spaghetti i have had in a long time. Nothing is better than a mom and pop restaurant, beats all chain restaurants around!Highly recommend!
Literally the worst pizza ever. Service was terrible didn’t even get what we ordered. Waited 20 min for my desert that I ordered and realized I’d never get it so I just asked for my bill and it was never even rang up. We were charged for an entire pizza after only eating 2 slices then sending it back. Later 2 out of the 3 of us got sick. I would not waste your money or time!!!
This is a great pizza place, by far one of the best ones I have ever had. Please come here and you wont be disappointed. Only reason why 5 stars werent given is because it would be a lie if I said that this was 5 stars.. you would tell me that this restaurant is the best of the best in the entire pizza community, Al thought you would want to believe it is but its not realistic. So if your looking for better pizza then come to FAMAS.. you wont be disappointed.
Went to dinner here with my girlfriend while on vacation and the food was excellent. Everything we had was homemade and extremely fresh. The pizza was very good, it is one of the best pizza’s I have had. Our waiter was very nice and got us our food very quickly. Would recommend this place for sure.
Excellent food, everything was fresh and authentic. Service was great too.
I am from out of town and good reviews are really helpful when deciding where to eat. I ordered a pizza and salad from Famas Pizza and it was delicious. The food was hot when delivered to my hotel. The delivery man was very friendly and delivered under the time stated when I placed my order. I highly recommend Famas for anyone out here wanting great food, good service, and temperature appropriate when delivered. Thank you for your commitment to serving great, hot food!
The food here is better than 90% of the commercial chains. The service and attention is amazing. The ONLY negative to this place is that its not my home city
You can feel in italia... The pizza, Delicius
Absolutely terrible!! 2 out of the 3 for us got sick. I walked up because the server never came to the table to order Cannoli that I waited 20 min for and realized I’d never get after it wasn’t even on the bill (never rang in). I told them I ordered it and never got it and no one cared. The wings were cold in the middle. Then we were watched like we were criminals and were not going to pay! I would not waste my money... got to Flippings Pizza instead. It’s really amazing
Best pizza I’ve had in a very long time. I came in and ordered a medium pizza pie. It was so delicious that I ordered another to go for my guests that were arriving into town. My new pizza spot since I just moved into the area.Service is great. It’s small but romantic and authentic. If you’re looking for a really delicious pizza here in Orlando, come visit Famas !
Fantastic chicken marsala and calzone!
The bread was barely Italian. Let alone the 1 slice of Swiss cheese and the one slice of meat in the Italian sandwich. The philly was also a joke . Orlando tourists trap @ its finest. Wings were mediocre @ best . Mozz sticks are costco special drop and pop. 61 dollars down the drain. NEVER AGAIN
The food was excellent and I as expecting the same friendly service that people have commented on in the reviews, but wow...really surprised and disappointed. The owner waited on us and he seemed like he was annoyed to be there. He barely spoke to us except to ask the basic questions to find out our order. I think he maybe said 5 sentences to the us the entire time. The lady that brought us the food was delightful and checked on us. But the owner just didn’t seem to be enjoying be there. I felt like we were a nuisance to him. I tried to be really friendly and thank him and be patient waiting to ask for things we needed. We ordered a pizza of half cheese and half spinach Alfredo. When we got our order it was one big spinach Alfredo pizza. We really didn’t want to bother him and tell him the order was wrong so we just ate it. The food really was great, authentic Italian (i am from NYC so I am picky about my pizza and pasta) so definitely recommend the food. But if you are looking for friendly service, I hope you have better luck than we did tonight. I was just so disappointed. I would love to come back but just felt so unwelcome. 🙁
The food is fresh and delicious and the service is amazing. 100% recommended!!
Best Italian food since I visit Italy! Quick, friendly service. Nice comfortable dining, small pet friendly patio, real quility ingredients and very affordable prices. Old world Italian food!!!
Horrible. Medium pizza is tiny. Im not sure they gave me the correct size pizza.$13 spaghetti with an additional $3.50 meatballs was so tiny. It was half the size of a chinese food container. Service is horrible. Walked in and there were 4 people in the kitechen. Noone was answering the phone or taking care of us. The delivery guy had to answer the phone and take our order when he walked in. 30 dollars worth. I Dont thnk so. Never again.
Best pizza I have ever had. You will not be disappointed.
Food was good and fast, ordered the supreme and was tasty. Crisp crust and fresh veggies. Boneless chicken wings were amazing. The kids wanted fries and they made them for them very quickly. 5 star and will be back
We went to have sandwiches, an Italian Pepper Parm and a Meatball Parm. What they used for what I hoped would be a good crusty Italian sub roll wasore like a giant hot dog bun.
Wow what a find! Hidden in a strip shopping center. Not much to look at but staff, service and food are EXCELLENT! Nice wine selection. Chicken Marsala was great and topped off with killer tiramisu. Multi-generational Italian family owned and run.
The staff is amazing! It is a small little hole in the wall with authentic Italian food. Most everything is made by hand and fresh, and if not, the owner is extremely picky of where he gets his supplies which is a good thing. The food was great. I would recommend going there for a great meal!
Fresh fresh freshCheese... Good sauce... Good crust... Good
Food was terrific, prices were reasonable. Staff was attentive. Definitely a good family type place to eat among the tourist area of Orlando. A real pleasant surprise. Wife had the lasagna and said it was superb. I had pizza which was delicious. Id go again and I dont really like Italian food.
Came here on a whim after seaworld. This is by far the best pizza I have eaten. Mozzarella sticks, cannoli and the lemon dessert were delicious. Made a second visit before leaving town because it was that good.
Great food and great service. It’s a repeat for me. I had the Chicken Marsala and it was very good.
Flavor is so so and no where near worth the prices. I think the dough is a frozen crust that they slap a decent sauce and cheese on. Then they pass it through a conveyor. This is definitely not traditional more Focused on tourist who probably will never come again. Hence their hours. There large pizza is 16” and the wings are tiny as well. I paid $32 for a 16” pizza and 10 wings. Like I said the flavor is so so but the prices are outrageous for the size. The sandwiches are good but again crazy prices. I think I’ll keep ordering from NYPD Pizza.
This place was recommended by our resort as one which delivered, and they did. The pizza and salads took about 50 min, which is exactly what we were told. Salads were generous sized but came with prepackaged dressings just like we have at my hospital cafeteria. The pizza was very mediocre. I sincerely think the crusts are frozen. The toppings were sparse for the price. Two pizzas (one large and one XL) plus a garden salad and a Caesar salad were over $60 with tax and tip. We have had much better local pizza during our yearly trip to Florida. We will go back to one we know next time
Best Italian food in the south. I got the Pleasure to meet the owner of the restraunt and he told me about how he became a chef and that he uses the best ingredients that he can find. I totally recommend this place to everyone.
Ordered carry out. Cashier was friendly. Food was yummy! Would like to see a better variety of salads. Will return!!
Lived in Orlando for 5 years. Best Italian food Ive had since living here. Great customer service.
Some of the best Penne a la Vodka I’ve ever had for a hard to beat price. Very nice management.
What a charming spot! The owner spoke to us and help serve! He was so adorable! Our server was super sweet too! He added to the atmosphere of the restaurant. I totally felt the Italian family love! You could taste it in the food. My pizza and salad was delish! It was a lovely way to finish the night.
Excellent tomato sauce. We went after a long day at Disney and the garlic bread with sauce was amazing. My children had to ask for extra. All of the family enjoyed their food. The service was warm and friendly. Highly recommended.
Overall good but not amazing. I much prefer fresh fountain drinks over a bottle. Food was appealing but not amazing. Bread was a nice touch but only had a tiny amount of olive oil to add to it. Could be better but our meal was good and fine but not amazing
Love the neighborhood feel of this place. I read the reviews and decided to try it while I was in town. The ravioli with four cheese sauce was so decadent. The fresh tomato flavor of the marinara sauce was also memorable.
Food is decent.
An excellent restaurant for those wanting a non chain experience. there are two haves a take out and an eat in. we ate in tonight being on vacation. they brought us both the in and take out menus t our request. the ambiance is very neat and classy for having about 12 tables. very friendly owner and waitress. we ordered a delicious Ceasar salad and a pizza. toppings were varied, they even had salami something rare for pizza restaurants. the sauce was very good, and the crust was fantastic. You will not be disappointed eating here.
I was wanting some good pizza and the hotel recommended Famas Pizza. When I arrived the restaurant was empty at 7:00. That should have been a sign for me but I decided to stay. I was disappointed that the pizza (12) was just a frozen crust and was nothing special for the price of $11. Service was good, but I asked for some sauce to dip my crust in and it was delivered to the table cold. I would not come back again.
We were searching last minute dinner, didnt really want a chain here in Orlando. We opted for Famas. This place was outstanding. To start off they brought us a delicious garlic cheese bred, similar to a calzone but so much better. The bread was incredible. Pasta was fresh, this place HIT THE SPOT.Overall I give this place an A+ the service was incredible and the food was even better. Will be back.
Wonderful food and exceptional service. Absolutely the best Alfredo sauce I have ever tasted. We make sure to come here at least once when we are in Orlando . Highly recommend .
This place is great, and they deliver! I tried Famas this week and didnt expect much, because...its Italian food delivery, but I was pleasantly surprised. The Shrrimp Alfredo was spot on, and the garlic cheese bread was out of this world! Delivery took 45 minutes. I will certainly call them again the next time Im in town.
Amazing food and amazing service! You should go here, not to Olive garden or another chain restaurant. This food is amazing and desserts are even better!!!!!! It deserves all the stars!
They did deliver to were we where so that was a plus. The food on the other hand was taste less. The description sounded like it was going to be flavorful. There was no sauce on the white chicken Alfredo and the cheese bread was just bread and chesse.
Absolutely phenomenal. Authentic Italian food. Family owned and operated with very friendly service. Also, you cannot pass up the cannoli. Will definitely return soon!
BEST PIZZA PLACE IN ORLANDO!
Good choices for delivery to the hotel when there was not much options at the hotel but First they said delivery up to hotel room, the I got a phone call saying that he was in the lobby, no biggie but I got down there and he was not even here yet... The we got up stairs and the portions were small but just mine. The kids size spaghetti was packed to the top but the adult tortellinis with pesto was basically empty same container as the kids dish but you could see the bottom of the container after all the fees and tip to get delivery it was not worth it.— disappointed and hungry
This was fantastic! The spaghetti was fantastic! Everything was amazing! And the service was quick and easy.I would recommend it to everyone.
