I have always had a great experience with everyone behind the counter. This is directed towards the employees behind the deli/kitchen counter. At 4:25 on 6/5/21 whoever was working, they were not wearing masks with the food. But they also had gloves on eating food, out in the open. Most likely the same gloves, that would be used to prepare food. This is a huge no no in the food business. If they are eating food, it should be in the lunchroom, not behind the counter with the same gloves to touch the food other people will be eating.
Overpriced and rude. The Dunkin’ is solid tho
I frequent Alltown convenience store and have never had a bad experience. Today I finally had a chance to try the chicken pot pie soup and it was very good. I also like the fried wings. Scotty is very helpful and went out of his way to make sure my lunch was packaged perfectly for traveling. Plus he is very friendly.
The last two times I went to the Dunkin’ they have ignored my request to put iced coffee in my reusable cup. They didn’t say “no we can’t do that” they straight up ignored the fact that I had a reusable cup. It’s a little bit hilarious that I said “hey please put it in this cup” and then they said “sure” and then proceeded to make it in a plastic cup. The second time it happened though I was unimpressed, so I’m writing this review.
Just went in there and not a single employee was wearing a mask. Not even in the food preparation area!!
I can not think of any other convenience store that I can honestly describe as Welcoming. We have a work assignment that currently takes us through Orono every morning and we normally stop by here at Alltown. The morning crew are awesome. They truly make you feel welcome and appreciated as a customer. Im specifically talking about the workers behind the regular retail counter as I have not interacted with the in house deli or the Dunkin Donuts. Whatever mojo this morning crew has is definitely working. Stop in and see for yourself.
Bad staff. Poor training on state laws regarding EBT customers and horrible treatment by the older male cashier in a retired military hat. Didnt ask his name. Should have though. Not only was he unapologetic but he shamed the use of EBT in front of a line of customers and denied my husbands transaction!!!! All he was buying was a juice and a lunchable for our kids. He eventually processed the sale for me but it was a horrible mess. Next time I will be going elsewhere. He needs retraining or a job with less human interaction. I will be calling management.
Clean and very friendly. The guy thats there at night is awesome. So very friendly
Highly overpriced to rip off college students with a dunkin doughnuts
