Im so impressed every time I shop at Orono IGA... it is stocked so nicely, tidy and clean. The entire staff of amazingly friendly, helpful and kind. I always feel uplifted when I leave.Todays trip was just lovely. Thank you great team work.

This place is so good! One teeny problem. Mom had meat that needed to be returned to IGA Customer Service. Aside from that, I definitely recommend this place to everybody!

This store has some great deals. Plus, for it being a fairly small store they do a great job of keeping things on stock that other little stores wouldnt have. They have a pretty good variety again for the size. Some of their deals are so great. The place is little run down, not horrible, just a little grimeier than what a hannafords would be. But the deals are worth it.

Better prices than Hannaford or Shaws. Comes at the cost of a smaller selection. Worth it to us.

Im not a fan of huge stores with lots of people and huge isles of the same product. This place is smaller with good selections of meat in particular but all you need is in this store at a smaller scale. Some prices a slightly higher but not so much that driving to bangor is better. Nice, helpful employees Ive met so far and close to home.

You can easily do most of your grocery shopping at this store as they have varieties of products to choose from. Also, the prices of the products are relatively cheap and affordable. Furthermore, the customer service is good and the workers are very helpful and friendly. Good place to shop

Good store with good prices. Meats are priced cheap and are always fresh. Customer service is friendly. Only complaint is their produce section is small and not very many choices. The organic produce is almost non existent as well but overall a good place to shop with sales on many items.

Good prices, good selection

They are more of the small town grocery store. Have great deals on different categories. Not as big a selection as a larger store, but better in some areas. Staff have always been helpful. Wait time in the lines is usually very reasonable and they will call down others to help at the registers if it gets backed up.

I originally went to IGA today for one thing but after looking around found what I thought were good deals. The danon yogurt was advertised for 10 for $6. I got charged $1.25 per item for a total of $12.50. I also bought 2 frozen viola dinners that were supposed to be $1 off for a price of $4.49. Got charged full price. Now I will take some responsibility for not noticing at the time. But things should have been entered right. I cant just go back to complain as I live over an hour away. Im just very disappointed. I have always liked IGA for their good deals. Take away from this is : always pay attention to what item is ringing up for.

Great prices, could be cleaner

Will not return until after the pandemic. Mutliple employees who deal with the public, like cashiers and baggers, wearing masks with their noses hanging out, which is like not wearing a mask at all. People packed in close at the checkout, not even a real attempt at physical distancing. I bring groceries home to someone in a high-risk group, Im not gonna take my chances here.

They are not making people wear face masks. I voiced my concern at the service desk and was told they cant make people comply. I am certain that if I lit up a cigarette they would make me comply as not to impact the health of others. They do not understand the risk they are placing their employees or the public in.

I drive from Bangor to shop here. Always find great deals. Store fairly small but still have good selection. Staff always friendly. Great place to shop! 👍

The meats are awesome and the best prices around. The produce can be a little iffy but the deli is great. If you dont see the sandwich you want, theyll make it for you. Excellent customer service, friendly staff. Always a good shopping experience.

This is a great place to get fresh cuts of meat. They dont have the best produce Ive personally seen over ripe molded fruits, but there meats and other groceries are great! And great prices too!

This place is tiny and cramped. The produce is always past its prime. There are good deals on deli foods that are about to get thrown out. The prices are decent but its dingy and I never enjoyed going.

Love the prices & service you get. Its easy to shop there. In the Cold/Flu season hits its a great place to pick up your OTC medicine. They always have the best comparable pricing and fair pricing at that. Shopping there is nice typically its quite and quick lines. Its a great place to pick up things quickly and get along with your day/night. No hassle friendly service. Has ATMs a service desk so uou can get your financial things done or whatever else you need. Plus its got a great meat section. I think all that do know go there for their Meat needs. Wine selection as you walk in. They have a great beer & alcohol section as well for anyone who like to drink. Place has it all. In a cozy space, it has a lot of stuff.

I went to bells in Orono on Sat.to get a green pepper, those had mold on them, I was going to get the European cucumber but those were very soft, and the apple in the bags were bruised.I do like to shop there usually, but their produce department needs much better care!I did tell a lady at the customer service desk and she said she would let them know.I said I would give them another try if it doesnt improve Im done shopping there.I have also heard a few not so good comments on their meet.😞

Great selection of everyday and sometimes unique brands. I hav even pleased with this store since they opened. And Bob is a great manager. The employees are always so friendly and when Shane is working I grocery, he is so helpful.

Somewhat limited selection but adequate. Feels crowded. It is a physically smaller facility than the competition, after all. But prices are competitive.

Nice place, not over priced...

A fair store cosmeticlu, prices are like all stores somethings are a little little high others ste normal the rest are low. The meats are always AZ of good quality and the prices are fair and the others are low priced but quality is good consistently good...and they have a good mix of choices... for a mom and pop store they are wonderful but need more room for more choices....the store is not dirty but it is crowded with products.

Bells is the most Awesome Grocery Store South of Millinockett and East of Dover Foxcroft. The Management and Staff are Friendly and Welcoming, the Quality is 100 %, the Selection is Perfect, the Prices are unbeatable and made for me, and the Service is Excellent! My Loyalty is well deserved!

A lot of good savings ! Lots of items that other markets around here dont carry, loved there international isle the best, the people though that I seen in there were a little sketchy, I would keep purse close to me, but other wise great store .

I shop here frequently for decent deals, but mediocre quality items. I have had this experience once before, but did not share it. I normally shop here for regular items, such as deli, break, milk, eggs, etc. I decided to pick up a London broil steak to cook a couple of days later. The sell by date on this steak is 8/18/18, and today is 8/16/18. I took the steak out of the fridge tonight, and to my dismay an absolutely horrid smell came out of the package when opened, obviously rotten meat. I immediately threw the meat away. I have had the experience before with ground beef from here, and thought it might be a consolidated incident, but it appears not. I will be seriously reconsidering shopping here again.

I love Bells Orono IGA. They have two mobility shopping carts. The store is a little crowded, but they have a selection that makes it worth checking out. They have a great deli counter, excellent seafood and some products you just cant get in most other groceries. The staff is helpful, and the management will do their best to meet your needs, even if they have to order something. I live in Hampden, about a fifteen twenty minute drive to get to Bells . . . but I make the drive about once every couple of weeks to get things I can only find there. One addendum, they have the largest containers of Marshmallow Fluff youll ever see! LOL

On many occasions I have shopped here out of convenience. I had heard about a problem with her me and I had experienced it also also with the deli meats, so on my next visit I asked to see the packaging from the deli meat and my surprise and the person cutting the meat it had been expired for three months! Then he continued to Open another package which was also expired once we checked he finally found me a package that expired in three days! I planned on making it for dinner that night or I would not have even bought it ever since I have not bought deli meat. So my most recent trip stopping for convenience I bought some chicken for a chicken and rice recipe, It was slimy but I washed it off and smelled it and it seemed OK all three of my children and my husband and I ended up in the hospital with severe food poisoning in the chicken was the only thing that all of us had eaten! The meats are always questionable but come on you’re risking peoples lives my one year-old son got admitted for severe dehydration from continuously throwing up! I will never go back to that store but I will not let that happen to another family! If you Can only afford good prices by risking Quality Control I’d rather pay more and I’m sure everybody would!

Im extremely displeased with the produce department at this grocery store. I have shopped at the store for years and it has always had a very terrible produce department. The produce is not fresh and the greens are always wilted. I know many other people that are also very displeased with the produce department. I have spoke with the management and the produce department manager on multiple occasions over the years and have been promised that the produce department would improve but it never has. I get the feeling that the management just does not care.
