I first went there two years ago when my tire need to be fixed, and they were very helpful and patient with me. They explained what they did exactly, and didnt try to sell me on anything else. They were VERY affordable so I went back when I had to get an oil change this summer. My car had a lot of issues (about a weeks worth) and they were patient and honest in the replacement and mechanics of my car. I recommend them to everyone! I had my first experience with Mark and Discount Auto Repair recently and I have to say I am beyond pleased. I have an import that is difficult (and expensive!) to work with. Limited parts are available and overall it can be a hassle. Recently I needed to have both my leaky radiator and my front struts replaced. I shopped around for estimates which were all coming in at around $2,500! When I took my car to Mark he gave me an estimate which was SIGNIFICANTLY lower. The work was done quickly and efficiently and I have had no problems since. The best part - the final cost of my repairs was even less than the estimate he gave me! I brought my car in to Mark to get an estimate for a transmission, the other places, quoted me almost 2000.00 dollars, for the repair, and on top of it they charged me almost 200.00 to diagnose the repair. Had my car in for repair today and we brought it in at 9:00am got a call about 11:30am for what was wrong with the car and had the car back by 2:45pm. For the entire repair in total was $435.77. I went to CarX and got a $800 estimate to fix my strut and a few other things....things I knew were fine in my car. I went down to discount auto and my car was fixed for $40. All that needed to be done was tightening the sway bar links..they didnt even charge me for that, just the inspection itself. So happy a friend recommended me to go there, I think I may have finally found a mechanic I can trust. Ill definitely be back if I need to.

Discount Auto Repair has the best customer service I have ever seen. Once we started bringing our vehicles there we never bothered to go anywhere else. They are very good at what they doing and very thorough. Before paying the bill he will show you everything he repaired and have you look at the car with him. On one of the repairs he even showed me the bad part he had removed and explained what was wrong with it. He makes sure you are satisfied with the work. This is how a business should operate.

Great service and affordable prices. I was on a tight budget due to the holidays and I needed an affordable repair shop. My Mazda 6 needed new rear coil springs, the dealers I checked quoted me 80 dollars just to look at my car and an additional 300 in labor. After parts, taxes and other additional materials it would have easily been over 600 dollars. I saved at least 35% by going with Discount Auto Repair. Mark was very personable and helpful throughout the entire experience. He was even nice enough to give me a ride home before they began work on my car. I will definitely have DAR at the top of my list for my next auto repair.

Had my brakes done on my 2004 jeep. I was in rough shape and I knew it, fearing the bill! These guys went in there and did all 4 wheels in an afternoon, had the brakes working like they were brand new and the price didnt break the bank. Afterword they showed me what was left of the front discs and I can guarantee you that they did far more than what you would expect from a typical shop. I have been taking my Saturn here for several years now for both major and minor repairs, and Mark is unfailingly helpful, friendly, has given me discounts on both parts and labor when additional costs unexpectedly came up. We moved to Oshkosh from San Antonio, Texas. We have a 2001 TRD Ivan Stewart Edition Tundra in mint condition that we are very picky as to who we have work on this truck. I had already made an appointment elsewhere to have the Tie Rods and Upper Control Arms done on my Audi when I stumbled across this place. Reading the reviews, Mark seemed like a stand up guy, so I gave him a call...He refused to work on my car, or hardly even have a phone conversation with me as soon as I mentioned my own parts. I already have my own Heavy Duty top of the line parts, so I do not want to wait for the low-grade parts the shop would order... Being a reputable work with the customer style shop, they should want what is best for your car, rather than a larger profit margin by making you order through them.These parts are prone to fail on my specific vehicle, so I made sure to buy the best rated ones I could find, and now have to go elsewhere and get charged more, because Mark could not understand that concept, and just wanted more money.I would never go there again and would happily pay more to be treated right, even for the simplest of tasks.

I would say they have very poor customer service and do not call you back when you inquire about something. Very disappointed, because Ive went here a couple times and the man was very nice. I called 3 times (different days) asking about how much a part would cost. He said hed call me back that day, each time. Never did.
