We drove from about 2 hours away to get a specific car. We searched high and low finally found 2 vehicles at this dealership we were interested in. They answered all of my many questions over the phone and through texting, which is a huge plus, and we felt confident driving up to get 1 of those 2 vehicles. Howard took his time with us and made sure we felt comfortable throughout the whole process. We didnt feel pressured to buy a car and we felt like we were getting honest customer service. Ive had great experiences buying cars at Bill Walsh. I live close to Chicago and still drive back to Ottawa when shopping for cars. My family and I always call Howard Tuttle when were looking. Hes very knowledgeable and helpful. Im really happy with my last purchase and was able to trade in my car too. Highly recommend working with Howard when searching for your next car!
They do not work or communicate as a team. Had us come in to look at a vehicle once we got there they told us the vehicle was not there and this went on for a week. The car was not as advertised had double the miles was used as a loaner it was smoked in/smelled like smoke, interior was filthy and the body/hood had rock chips down to metal. And would not adjust the price accordingly.
I cannot say enough good things about this place. From the moment we got there to the moment we drove away with our truck, this is the one AND ONLY time I will say buying a car was a pleasant experience. The LEAST stressful purchase weve made. Ask for Howard Tuttle! I cannot put into words how awesome he was to work with. He was so kind and honest from the start. We had been looking for a specific truck for a few months, and every time we went to see it, something was off. Either the car or the deal was non-existent and it felt like a ploy to get us in the door. If we are ever in the market for another car, this is the only place we will go. Howard has always been our car salesman. This year he has found both of us our dream cars. No pressure sales and makes sure to help you get the car you have in mind when shopping for one. Very knowledgeable and went the extra effort on the wifes search by going thru over 40 jeeps to get her the one she wanted. For me I test drove one on one day and decided it wasnt for me. I told him Id go home and search thru the entire dealer inventory to see if another one in stock is in the price range, makes or models I would like as my next ride. After my search I called him up again and test drove my now new ride. I love it and so does my wife! Howard, George and Bob are great to do the process of car purchase with.

When day came around we noticed the windshield had a crack in it. No chip or point of impact. It was odd. I have to tell you, these guys are the real deal! I bought a car 3 months ago a 2008 rav4 with 100000 miles drove it off the lot notice the headlight was out the day I bought it a few weeks later it had an oil leak in the engine and had suspension issues when I was there purchasing the car we asked them to not run our credit to a bunch of credit unions and they did it anyways I did not enjoy working them I would recommend to go somewhere else

George honored a $1000 pricing mistake. Who does this in todays world? Howard was very accommodating and friendly. He is an authentic guy. Bob in finance was efficient and fast. Nobody was pushy. My trade in had some expensive extra accessories that I added. They recognized this and gave me some extra money for the added accessories. They gave me what I thought was a very fair trade in value. I live in Chicago and was happy I made the drive to their dealership. Overall they treated me like a valuable customer and made me feel great! Also, I love the car they sold me.

I highly recommend Sierra Motors! I was looking for a specific Jeep and found it on their lot, but they were over 4 hours away. I tried many local dealers and they either didnt have the right Jeep and wouldnt get this one for me or wouldnt make a good deal. I took a shot and reached out to them directly and was blown away at how easy they made the process. Within a day I had my trade assessed and the best financing worked out, all online. They asked which method of communication was best and actually stuck to my preference. At no time did they cut discussions short and try to make me drive 4 hours before my deal was done. They valued my trade, we agreed on terms and they even offered to deliver the Jeep to me!Throughout the process, their staff demonstrated excellent communication and follow up. This was the smoothest Ive been able to purchase a car since the Saturn days. My wife actually asked that I only deal with George Honiotes in the future! There is no higher compliment!

My wife and I had a fantastic experience dealing with their team. From the inside sales team directing us to Howard, and the welcoming feeling we received was all A+. By far the best car buying experience we have ever had.
AVOID at all costs! They stole almost $1,000 from me, and sold me a car with a gas tank that leaks if you fill it up. Id give them zero stars if I could.They over-collected on my purchase and have been very shady with excuses as to why they have not reimbursed me. I bought a used CX5 from them in July. Im from Iowa, but have purchased cars out of state with no problems before. They collected the sales tax and licensing/registration fees which should have been sent to my local DMV. It took months to get the title, even though I bought the car outright. (lots of COVID-delay excuses, and then they said the original lender still had the title tied up for some reason). I was patient at that time, but when the title finally showed up, they hadnt sent the money they collected for the sales tax, license, and registration fees. Almost $1,000. And the amounts on the paperwork they sent me did not match the paperwork I signed on the day of the sale. My local DMV called them several times and got no response. I ended up paying for it all myself since my temp plate had been expired for over a month. At this point, I had been handed off to several different contacts at the dealership, but finally got a hold of a George Honiotes, who sounded nice and when I explained what was going on, he looked into it and said, oh yeah, looks like we need to cut you a check for the difference. MONTHS have gone by since then, and Ive contacted him 2 or 3 other times, once he said he needed the manager to ok it, but they were out for two weeks with COVID. Ever since that reply, Ive had no response from them. Im filing a report with the Better Business Bureau, and if that doesnt do it, I guess Ill have to get more aggressive. I was also trying to get them to look at the leaking gas tank, but Im guessing since they cant even get me the money they wrongly took, Ill never get them to fix the car. First things first. I would never have expected a good sized dealership like this to be so shady. Not when its a clear cut case of them taking my money and not using it for what it was intended. Anyway, thats my story, so when shopping at this place, buyer beware.
George is awesome to work with, as is everyone else at the Bill Walsh auto group. Weve purchased three cars from Bill Walsh (even though theyre over an hour away from where we live), and each experience was fantastic; they dont play games and arent overly aggressive with their sales tactics. Honesty and customer service are top notch.

My fiance and I like Howard T. He super nice, helpful and a great person to talk to. We DO NOT like whoever the guy is that runs the shop. He is a young gentleman that relies more in his computer than listening to what the issues of the client are. Took my car at least 4 times for a leak in the back and always came back as NOTHING well if it was nothing it would not leak or be a huge wet spot in the middle of the inside of the car. They dont have a problem charging you a fee but fixing its a whole different story.As long as I get a good deal on what I buy I always have someone good and reliable working and fixing my car but I am not impressed at all about their shop.

After taking a vehicle with 17k miles on it for a test drive I asked Howard, the salesman, to look into a noise coming from the wheel. Before purchasing the vehicle he assured us nothing was wrong. 4k miles later that noise got worse. $1,200 in repaires later we asked the dealership to reimburse us because we were assured that the noise was nothing. I sent pictures of the problem to their very own mechanic and with the mechanic and the manager on the phone I asked if that damage was possible in 4k miles. The mechanic said no that is not possible. The manager still refused to reimburse us for something their own mechanic admitted was problematic before we bought the vehicle even when we were assured nothing was wrong. Buyer beware.

My wife found a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Winter Edition she fell in love with. We attempted to purchase a vehicle at another Jeep dealer that was closer to our home only to have the dealer try to con us out of $2K after agreeing to a deal. We decided to take a drive out to Sierra Motor Mall which is 1 1/2 hours from our home. It was the best decision we ever made. Every single person we came in contact with was very friendly and made you feel at ease. After purchasing the vehicle we felt like we got a great deal and feel that we were treated very well. A special thanks to our salesman James Struck who really did a great job taking care of us. Also thank you to Craig and Bob Healy for making our car purchase a pleasure. We traveled quite a distance to purchase the Jeep, it was well worth it. When all was said and done we ended up getting close to 3K more for our trade than from the first dealer. So clean you can eat off the floors! Very friendly, low pressure atmosphere. They do business the old fashioned way. George Honiotes spent weeks finding me the right used car, and made it look like new when he delivered it. There was a welcome sign when I arrived to pick it up, and he spent time syncing my phone and contacts as well as reviewing the features. I will highly recommend them! Oh, and very fair pricing too!

DO NOT buy a used car from these people. I bought a 2 year old car with less than 20,000 miles on it - they guaranteed it was in perfect condition. Fast forward 3 months: ALL OF MY ROTORS WERE COMPLETELY RUSTED AWAY. I had to put $1,250 into their car in so called perfect conditonThey have been impossible to get in contact with. I sent photo proof of the condition of the rotors.I would NEVER buy a car from them again. STAY AWAY

When I am at Sierra Motors, I am not being sold a new vehicle. Thanks to the hours of research done by my guy, Mark Imhof, I feel like I have found the perfect fit that suits my needs. Last time I bought, Mark knew better than me that I needed a utility vehicle. I bought it, drove it off the lot, and have never looked back! In the waiting area there is coffee and soft drinks, Internet and a playroom (soundproof) for the kids. The other salesmen are so friendly and make sure I have what I need. I must add that the service department is very friendly and accommodating. If you are in need of a vehicle, you must get to Sierra Motors and ask for Mark. Any of the salesmen will be great and provide you the experience of driving home your new best friend!
Very happy with my experience with Mark Imhof (Sales) on my recent purchase. I reached out to the dealership about a particular used car and was put into contact with Mark. We traded communications and he answered all my questions to my satisfaction. I scheduled a time for a test drive. Unfortunately, circumstances prompted me to change my time and he was more than accommodating. When I arrived, the car was ready for a test drive and afterward, I was ready to make a deal. We negotiated for the best price and closed the deal in about 90 minutes, test drive to keys. I appreciated the negotiation and felt very confident and happy with the deal. I was grateful for Marks respect of my time and his respectful communication and professionalism. I would consider him again for the next vehicle purchase.

Im no stranger to car dealerships and salesmen. On average, I purchase 1 car every year. I have experience in customer service and sales totaling 6+ years and this has got to be the worst dealership Ive ever been too. Before even being shown a car we were rushed in to negotiating financing. The salesman (Mark), was condescending and rude in a way I had never expected from a salesman, especially when dealing with an $18,000+ sale. After insulting myself and attacking my budget (which wasnt fixed), I had had enough and decided to leave. I said Thanks for your time., went to shake his hand and upon which he refused. I have never experienced such disrespect from a salesman in my life. Having worked in sales for 6 years, I would expect there to have been some professionalism from such a large dealership. Moreover, they honestly expect you to pay sticker price.With there being 5 Jeep Dodge Chrysler dealers within 50miles of Sierra, there is no reason to purchase from them. The gas you will spend driving to a farther dealership will be made up not only in price but also in service. If I could have left no stars I would have.
Just bought a new 2019 Jeep Cherokee latitude plus. Howard Tuttle was so great to us and we were impressed with the General manager George Honiotes! The staff there is awesome!! We will definitely be back for our next new car. They delivered my car to me and made sure I had a nice one until then!!! Mind you we live 91 miles away!!!! Great customer service award going to Howard in my eyes!!

My buying experience could not have been better! I knew what vehicle I was interested in and had in the past purchased my vehicles. I was interested in leasing and George was very thorough and clear when explaining the leasing process. I traded in my vehicle and they were very fair with the value.
Had a nice experience. Was my 1st time at this dealership. Just an oil change & tire rotation. Everybody was very friendly. It took about an hour & 20 minutes, maybe a little lengthy, but overall they did a great job. Definitely would recommend & will go back.

We are a family that purchases a car at least once per year. We shop the market for everything in a 250 mile radius for the best deal on what we are looking for. I went in with financing in hand because I hate dealing with the finance Dept. at any dealership. We spoke with Howard Tuttle and he showed us several vehicles that we were interested in at the price we wanted to pay. In the end we chose something from another one of the Bill Walsh locations and he brought it to us. We have had the vehicle for about a month and are extremely happy with it. Howard was very helpful with this purchase. He is honest and friendly and besides leaving with a New SUV, we also left with a new friend.Let me not forget to mention their finance Dept. I left with a rate half of what I walked in with. Next Year we will be back for another vehicle, and Im gonna let them find the financing for me.THANKS AGAIN HOAWRD AND THE SIERRA MOTORS TEAM
Mixed experience with this dealer. Initial contact with Rachel was amazing, very courteous and helpful and even mentioned that because of New Years and me driving out of state I could get a deal on some autos. When speaking to Craig B. (one of the GMs), he could do much with the price which is understandable as this is a business. What isnt understandable is the condescending tone and inflection I was spoken to by him following me telling him I wouldnt be purchasing the vehicle. He stated he didnt understand why customers think they can negotiate on price when they havent even seen the vehicle (Id only seen about 10 photos and specs). Instead of trying to understand why I, the individual on the phone looking to bring business to him from over 2 hours away, thought I could get the price changed he instead generalized me with a label and grouped me onto the other customers that had the same feelings. No one is perfect, but trying to ask me what exactly it was I was looking for to try and suggest/sell another vehicle he felt that belittling my intelligence by speaking down to me. 5 star for initial contact, 1 for what followed. Hopefully others will have a better experience with them, I wont be reconsidering doing business with them as there are many other dealers and private parties willing to treat me with respect.

I was very pleased with my recent service. Unfortunately I just paid for a tire rotation, so the coupon you just sent is of no value to me. Our next service is in 6 months. I hope another coupon opportunity comes close to that time.
My wife and have purchased cars from Bill Walsh in the past. Always great experiences. We just purchased a car in May. It has been back to the dealership 5 times. Toyota is purchasing the car back however, I purchased an extended warranty, clear coat etc from the dealership. They will not return my full investment in a car that is faulty even though they are getting the car returned to them. The sales manager has been uncooperative and insulting. I have lost countless hours of sleep, business time and family time because I have had to return to this place multiple times. Do not purchase from here unless you want a nightmare if things dont work out at no fault by you. I will be posting this review on every Bill Walsh page and review site.
Terrible customer service! Only bought the car because it was the only one close that was exactly what my daughter wanted. Zero negotiation. Wouldnt even give her a spare key! Once you sign, the customer service stops

I purchased a $10k vehicle from Sierra. It has been a nightmare from within the first hour or so of owning the vehicle. We went to Ottawa not intending to buy same day, then decided to go ahead and buy right then, so after we signed all the paperwork we had to take the new car home and pick up our trade in vehicle to bring back. The gas light was on when we test drove the vehicle and we were told if we decided to purchase they would fill the tank. After signing, however we were rushed to hurry home and get our trade in so Tobey could finish up the sale to make her sons hockey game. As a working Mom, who had no knowledge of how the rest of my interaction with her would go, I understood her position, filled the tank myself and rushed home to get my trade in. During the drive home and back it rained and we noticed the rear wipers on the new car did not work and also the tail lights were not working. When we returned to the dealership about 1 hr after purchase, we brought up that the rear wiper and tail lights did not work and were told it is too late we already signed the paperwork.I knew when I left after buying the car Saturday that on Monday I need to send the finance lady, Tobey, my pay stubbs as my work was closed Sat. When I got to work Monday, I asked my boss to print some pay stubbs for me and I faxed them to Tobey. I fully admit this printed copy did not look too official (I work in a very small office) and was concerned she may need something more. I had already spoke to my employeer about it and she was 100% willing to ask her account to produce a more official looking proof of employment/income. Around lunch time Tobey contacted me via text message and let me know she still needed pay stubbs. I wrote back that I had sent the print out with the proof of insurance that morning and asked if she had received it. I was trying to determine if she had not received the paper I sent or could not accept it. She then resorted to name calling and bullying. In the 9mins it took me from the time she sent the first text to gather more acceptable proof of income, Tobey sent several text messages in which she called me shady, told me I bamboozled her, insulted my employer, and more. I repeatedly wrote her back asking her to please calm down and quit speaking to me like this. I told her we were gathering better documents and would have them to her soon (once again it only took me 9mins to have actual photocopied paystubbs to her). I tried to call her during this 9mins and left her a voicemail saying I think we are having some form of miscommunication and I am sending her the pay stubbs to please calm down and stop calling me names. I had also called my husband and told him about this situation and he had called Tobey, she bad mouthed my employer to him as well. I work for a wonderful woman who runs a good and very successful small business. We would never treat our customers like this! I was deeply offended by Tobey bringing my employer into this just because she was unhappy with the quality of a proof of income print out. Tobey returned my voice mail and told me we are not having miscommunication, that I screwed her, and that she had redone the loan contract and removed me from it so it is in my husbands name only now. This is absolutly not what I wanted or consented to. She changed the terms of the loan AFTER we signed.We have owned the car about 2.5 months. It is junk. Tires are all dry rotted, front windshield wipers no longer work, many other mechanical issues.I was able to speak to the loan company directly the following day and fix my loan. They were very nice and helpful and our loan is now set up the way we wanted it.I also called and spoke to the sales manager, Craig, about my experience. He was very nice to me and apologized, but had no interest in seeing the text messages she had sent. I thought she would feel stupid for sending all that verbal abuse via text, but I was the one who ended up feeling stupid for thinking management would be concerned about her outburst.
Worst experience with buying ANYTHING in my life. Had an appointment to see a jeep at Sierra, a sister store, Coronet originally had the jeep. Get to Sierra and they have a similar jeep but not the right one. Mind you these stores are 20 min apart and they could not bring me the right jeep because they had 2 appointments to see it that same day, one even being from St. Louis, how special! Ha! I had scheduled this appointment to see this specific jeep earlier in the week, they brought the wrong one intentionally I am certain. Since they could not bring me the right jeep I had to then spend my Saturday driving to Peru to Coronet to see the jeep while it was a torrential downpour. I get the feeling that they are trying to make this look like my fault, saying I had said I was interested in the wrong jeep they brought, NOT true, and not at all my fault. Get to Coronet for them to tell me Oh Im sorry we DONT actually HAVE the jeep. We ACCIDENTALLY sent it to auction, its in Morton but we did that on accident we will get it back Monday (this is saturday). They take my name and number and assure me they will call me Monday morning as soon as they get the jeep back to make this right. I am livid but I liked the darn jeep. They claim everyone wants this jeep and it will be hot as soon as they get it back so Ill be lucky to see it. Ha! My salesman from Sierra also came there, and wanted to make the sale himself so he also said he would be calling me first thing Monday to bring me the car even to the town I live. (all of this was so extreme). Anyhow, NO ONE calls me Monday, seriously, NONE of them. I call another Bill Walsh dealer and ask them to look into the jeep for me. Well Sierra calls me after that saying Oh I heard you called another dealer, ya sooooo the car sold at the auction on accident, no one has the jeep. WHAT! So I say, between Saturday at 3pm and Monday at 8am the car sold at an auction???? OKKKKKKK. And sure enough he says no it actually sold on Thursday. WHAT THE HECK! Did this car even exist!? Did they use it as bait? Thinking Im just some dumb girl wouldnt know they brought me a less nicer car to view and maybe Ill buy it instead? What terrible, terrible business. I will NOT do business with Coronet, Sierra Or ANY Bill Walsh dealer. WHAT SHADY SHADY PEOPLE THEY ARE.
Great experience for me at the Sierra Motors. The customer service is super friendly and efficient and was able to get me into an awesome vehicle within a very short time. They had originally sold me a Dodge in 2012 and when I approached the place this week looking for a new vehicle, I was actually remembered . Even though I bought my new car from repokar com, because of my bad budget I highly recommend Sierra Motors to everyone.
Madison DUFF - ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! Howard Tuttle helped make one of my dream cars a reality . 2 weeks ago I got into a accident with my car of 5+ years. I was absolutely devastated when they said it was totalled . The insurance company only gave me 6 days to give the rental back, after that I WOULD BE CARLESS ! Freaking out I searched and searched . My mom called Howard and asked if he had any jeeps .He had one that fit me perfect. I knew the moment I saw it that THAT WAS MY CAR! A few signatures And BOOM ! Almost in tears, I was given the keys to my Jeep .Thank you Howard for making my dream a reality !
Service department is money hungry. I took my 3 year old car in to get the Bluetooth radio looked at because it would intermittently make a high pitched piercing sound. I specifically asked that they look at it, & talk to me before doing anything. I asked that they see if the fix would be covered under my warranty, & if not to please let me know with an estimate for the fix. The man in the service department assured me they would. He also said it would take about an hour. Almost 3 hours later he came out, said it was done, & handed me a bill.When I called him out, & said you were supposed to talk to me before doing anything he completely dismissed me, & said “well you signed the paper” & walked away. The women at check out heard the whole thing, & did not address the situation either she just said “what form of payment will you be using?”I will never do any form of business with them or any of the other Bill Walsh locations.
Sold a dodge ram less than 40 miles later it was already having problems tried to speak with them and they didn’t give any effort to help do not buy here

My girlfriend and I found a used Harley Davidson online at Sierra Motors. We live in the south Chicago suburbs, not close to this dealership. I called them for information on the bike on a Tuesday morning, and we were able to pick up the bike on Wednesday evening. Our salesman was John, and he couldnt have made the purchase any easier. We did the credit app and purchase over the phone and by fax. The dealership stayed open late to accommodate our long drive after work to complete the purchase. We couldnt have been any happier with our experience at Sierra.
Ive dreamed of owning a Jeep since I drove one as a rental in Las Vegas several years back. Howard Tuttle made it happen! When I walked in I was uncertain of the whole process, but I knew exactly what I wanted. Within a an hour, he and Craig located the vehicle two states away. Howard responded promptly to my insurance agent, my credit union loan officer and my husband and I who had daily questions and concerns for the short 9 days (wow!!) it took to drive away in a brand new, fully loaded 2108 Rubicon. Bought a car from these guys. After giving them my credit card I got a call stating that I needed to wire the money. I did and then noticed that I was charged on my credit card as well. After numerous phones calls, the final one having me put on hold for a long time, I was treated rudely and as if I had a problem that I was charged twice. I had to go the route of disputing my charges with my credit card. I have NEVER had such terrible customer service. I regret not looking at the other reviews before buying...save yourself the agony, go to a place that has a good reputation.
