Of 4 same distance we shop here and perfect example why..clerk Porter came out in freezing weather and helped my elderly mom and i change a tire in the lot. Near 0 and over and above call. This young man didnt hesitate or grumble once. Fine young man, employees make the return.

Friendly staff. Store could use help for stocking, organizing & cleaning but given these trying times I totally understand as usually only 1 person on a shift working cash register & putting freight out. Knowledgable on what they do have on hand tho so thats a bonus. Saves me time.

The guys who work the night shift at E. MAIN Store, are friendly, fast and efficient whenever I shop there.

Cheap and fast. With over all quality for the buck spent. An they do have pregnancy tests, although behind the counter which must be asked for. Guess is was a hot item for local light handed thrill seekers.

The store is very unorganized!

Carried a decent variety of products. I didnt care much for the disarray of the store myself, it made it much more difficult to find stuff than what it should have. Also didnt care for standing in line for several minutes with only 1 cashier checking out. Prices seemed fairly reasonable as well.

Small store but had everything we needed for a family gathering. There were a couple condiments we came across that were past their sell-by or expiration date but that was easy to find and see.

This place hardly ever has unscented soap only in bars .and the store is usually in unorganized...stuff just kind of thrown every where

I came from CALIFORNIA today to pick up load from JBS. In the neighborhood I found this store. Awesome, I picked mini chopper not available in Walmart and Costco just for $10 can use in my truck. A lot of useful things available. I also got box grater of kind I was looking for some time, but couldn’t find .Thank you very much.

The staff have been great each time Ive been in there. Its a bit crowded. There is a good selection, and three prices are decent.

Product prices were very fare and the service was great.

The ladies and gentleman who work there are always helpful and very polite.

The place is getting better with keeping items stocked, but that wasnt until here recently. Before you would go in and everything you needed more than likely was sold out.

Very cramped store. Had one employee working .she was doing best she could.Did not have what we were lookingfor .store looked like it had just received shipment, boxes and carts everywhere. When we left employee said she ran out of change.Looks like lack of management to me

I cant say anyting bad about Dollar General besides you can save money if you download their app for coupons you dont have to wait till the following Saturday to save money what can I say its a dollar store they carry more than I believe they need too causing the aisles overflow in Ottumwa Iowa the store which is on East Main is always a mess hard to find anything because aisles are just full of merchandise the other Dollar General we have on Quincy Avenue is getting better so go dig through the rubbish and find what you need and maybe worth it in the long run
