Stylist Michele was very heavy handed . When brushing my hair I can see all the breakage flying off . Also my hair was nothing like the picture I showed . She seemed like she had a long day, took little effort to cut my hair . It looks like something my husband could of done . Not worth $35. Still left a good tip but won’t go again .

They are requiring mask at this location....not going to happen for me. Also the stylist do not appear dressed up with hair fixed and makeup on. My question is how can I rely on a stylist to make suggestions for me when they do not take time to present themselves the best?

Took my kids for haircuts and the man working would not allow a parent to stay back with our minor children. The women were extremely understanding and were going to allow us back. To top it off, the back was not straight and we were given the excuse that my son doesnt like the clippers. I insisted it be fixed and its still not great. Wont be going back due to this.

Horrible place to go if you have natural hair. The first visit was cool. This second time the stylist acted brand new. She was very rude and unprofessional. Plus, had an issue with scheduling last week. I will NEVER return to her again. She was suppose to trim my hair. She basically butchered it. I would have been better off trimming my own hair or better yet not trimming it at all. I did tip her based on how well she washed my hair. She didn’t even thank me for the tip or anything. Very rude and disrespectful. I regret tipping her what I did. If you have natural thick curly hair steer clean of here. I regret ever coming here because the have ruined two of my Saturday’s in a row. Also, I think she cut my hair extra short because she was mad because the manager told her to fix the mix up from last weekend. At check out when I told her what the manager told me she basically stated that I was a liar. And that she was going to call the manager and when the manager stated that yes she did tell me that the stylist was very upset. Never apologized that yes the manager did say that but I never knew. Horrible experience. Very dissatisfied salon customer. Won’t ever be spending my money at the salon again EVER!!!

I’ve been going to this salon for years. My stylist, Jamie Pecina is a literal miracle worker. I am 40something with extremely thick, curly hair and always struggle. Jamie has awesome suggestions and I never leave unhappy. She is just the best! I’ve referred about 1000 people here, including people who stop me at Target to say they like my curly bangs. I have hair that was at one time blonde, and tends to pick up red and Jamie has managed to find a color combo that works perfectly! Pam at the front desk is so wonderful and always works with me to fit me in when I’ve neglected to make an appointment. Jennifer is a brow master and very reasonable. This salon is inside the Jcpenney and they have parking spots right up front reserved for the salon patrons. The best part is that you earn rewards through Jcpenney with each purchase. So I get my hair cut and colored, and brows done, and I’ve earned a reward. I usually turn right around and spend my $10 reward on product that Jamie suggests! Win, win!

My husband got me a gift certificate for Christmas to get my hair done and he even requested a master stylist. It is literally the worst color and cut I have ever received. I came in with a picture and showed it to the stylist, it was basically an ombre from my natural hair color to blonde with some honey highlights. She said it should be easy and began the process. 3 hours later my whole was blonde with blotchy spots where my natural hair color meets. I was crying when I left. She said for me to come back since I had another appointment to go to. I came back like 2 hours later and she attempted to fix it by just covering up most of the blonde. I pretty much spent 125.00 for my hair to look exactly the same. The stylist was nice thats the only reason Im not listing her name but for future if someone shows you a picture and its not something you can do just let them know up front so they dont leave crying and spending 125.00.
