Im more of an ice cream fan, instead of frozen custard; but Twisters has an excellent selection of options to customize their vanilla and chocolate offerings, such as blends and sundaes. I ended up going with a personal favorite, the PB Cup: chocolate custard with peanut butter and rice crispies blended together. Ill be sure to visit Twisters again before the season is over.

Ok can someone please explain to me why my strawberry shortcake sundae that stated it had shortcake in it was handed to me with a biscuit as the shortcake? Utterly disappointed. If you want your strawberry shortcake served with a dry breakfast biscuit this is the place for you. If you want a real strawberry shortcake go to Andys!

Such a fun place to visit! We were in town for a baseball tournament and needed a sweet treat. The list of choices was long and we all enjoyed what we ordered!

Their ice cream was great but the waiting was a bit long. Its not their fault but they really should hire more people.

I got a hot fudge sundae with pecans and it was completely inedible. It had a ton of salt on it (yes I said salt). It tased like there was a half of shaker of salt on it. When I went back to ask them to exchange my sundae for one with no salt on it I got some snotty kid who had the nerve to tell me We dont give out free ice cream like I was some crook trying to get over on Twisters. Well that was our first and last trip.

Had the banana split. More whipped cream than frozen custard. What I had was great.

My familys favorite spot for custard in Overland Park. I love their staff and fast service. You cant go wrong with any of their flavors!

They have so many brilliant yummy options/mixes I still need to go back and try other flavors just to make sure sure that theyre as good as all the other ones! I have yet to capture a picture of the amazing ones I have gotten already cause they were that good. Maybe next time!

Best custard place in the KC area!! Their menu offers a wide selection and unique flavor combinations. Fast service. Our favorite twisters are the PB Crunch and the New Yorker with raspberry. Always enjoy the different monthly seasonal concretes as well.

The custard is good, but as in most places nowadays, nobody can go inside. It’s strictly, order at the window and leave.

Waited in line at DC for almost an hour to be told they were closed due to staff shortage! So tried Twisters! Waited in line maybe 10-1/ minutes, ordered a sunday for sick friend, was greeted by friendly staff, was out of the locations parking lot in a little over 20 .ins., and friend loved the change up from DQ! Although I dont live in KC, definitely henceforth get my business!

Ordered a cake batter concrete with cookie dough added in. Waited about 8 minutes at the window and when we finally got our food they said they forgot to put the cookie dough in the concrete but could give us a cup of dough for free since it was their mistake. Hand them the card they run it and then say that they had to charge us for the cookie dough but we could just stir it in ourselves

First time to visit and was not disappointed

The ice cream is good but the service is snotty. Heres a pic of what is supposed to be a scoop. Do not make the $2 mistake of asking for the 2 scoop sugar cone to be put in a cup. Such a ripoff.Teach these snotty kids that work there how to greet customers in a friendly welcoming way.

Tasty custards and very filling although on the expensive side. I go for the awesome banana split or turtle sundae. Its open late night and usually with lots of people hang around that time especially on weekends mostly college kids and family.

Best frozen custard place in Kansas City. The custard is a bit creamier and flavorful than Andys or Sheridans. Plus they have some great, original flavor combinations.

First impressions are not good. We ordered 3 frozen custards but got 3 custard soups. Nothing was frozen about it. Not sure what else to say, other than they dont stand out against any other custard stand out there. Well try again, hopefully this was just a one-time thing.

Employees should be wearing MASK while preparing custard. Customers cant heat up custard cream in microwave.

Tastes ok but Andys is so much better. Also Andys is a lot better value for what you are paying. Yes a large is only $4.80 but if thats a large I would hate to see what a small looks like. Just go to Andys and get something that will satisfy your craving

This is the best frozen yogurt I have eaten in Kansas. It is practically like gelato. I had their version of the blizzard. Fortunately, I got the small size, since we went here right after dinner. It was so rich and delicious, I was astounded that the other three people in our party finished a regular size. There is no indoor seating, but plenty of benches and little metal tables and chairs.

After checking the website to ensure they would be open- we drove 15 minutes to this location for a late night snack- only to arrive to a group of kids shutting out lights and leaving. An entire hour before the posted closing time. Not impressed.

An outdoor style walk up or drive thru ice cream custard restaurant. There is seating all around for people to enjoy their various ice creams. This establishment only serves ice cream and soda nothing else really. The custard ice cream comes in the regular three flavors and many toppings and types. They are fairly priced and quick to serve, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good dessert for a few or for many.

This is our favorite ice cream place in Kansas City! They work hard to create new Twister combinations to celebrate the holidays, seasons, area sports, I love their inventions! The peanut butter fudge sundae is my absolute favorite. If you need a sweet treat, definitely give this place a try, you won’t regret it!

Delicious frozen custard, I had one of their peanut butter flavored concrete options and it was phenomenal. Not quite my absolute favorite in the KC metro but very good nonetheless and worth a try if you have not been here before.

I go to Twisters multiple times a week and I always order the same New Yorker, which is cheesecake mixed with one other topping of your choice. Today I got hot fudge but after my first couple bites I realized there was no cheesecake in it. I went up to the window to get my order fixed and was told by the manager that there was nothing she could do since I had ate so much of it. Mind you I ordered a large and had only ate a few bites a couple mainly trying to give them the benefit of the doubt and find cheesecake in it. So there I am with a cup of ice cream and hot fudge that I had just payed around $6 for. Good ice cream bad customer service.
