Everybody here is so nice and friendly! Cheryl at the front desk is so sweet and always has a smile on her face. Dr. Rigney is super nice too and you can tell he is very knowledgeable and spends time with each patient to make sure he is addressing their needs. Tim has also had great advice for me in the past regarding which glasses frame my face better. Great place for eye care.

I have been wearing glasses for years and for the past 2 years I have been getting head aches above my ears and they have become very uncomfortable. I decided that I wanted to try contacts even though I wear bifocals, and was referred to Dr. Rigney by my best friend who also wears contacts. I have to say that Dr. Rigney is awesome and his staff are wonderful. I always feel so comfortable when I am there and know that Dr. Rigney is doing his very best to get my prescription right before he orders my contacts. I was worried that I wouldnt be able to stand having contacts in my eyes, but Tim spent about an hour instructing me on how to put them in and take them out and he was very patient and understanding, and now I am a PRO. I would recommend Dr. Rigney to everyone, in all my years of wearing glasses, I have never met a more caring Doctor and staff. Oh, and his office is amazing, very, very nice. (I have gotten married and my name is now Cindy Lewis).

Definitely the best eye Dr. around. Have been to multiple around Tulsa area over the years and Dr. Rigney is not only thorough but takes the time to make sure things are perfect. Excellent help in finding a solution for my eye issue. Very few places will put in the time and effort Dr. Rigney will for each and every patient.

I was referred to Dr. Rigney by my friend and I’m glad I decided to make an appointment with this office. I have very complicated eyes that need stigmatism correction, prism, and a very strong prescription. Dr. Rigney worked very hard to get my prescription just right. I wear glasses and contacts. He did a great job of helping me to understand the complexity of my eyes.Dr. Rigney discovered that I have optical nerve damage (I’m only 36) and I am now being treated for glaucoma. Thank goodness he is thorough so that I can keep as much of my sight as possible.All of the staff at the office are very nice, professional, and experienced.

Dr. Rigney is extremely thorough in his eye exam. He includes services like checking the tear film of your eye and checking under your eyelid for build up or issues from wearing contacts that you would never be able to feel. He also let me know that when Im ready for it he has really technologically advanced contacts that can help with reading without having to wear readers and give better vision when driving at night! Highly recommend him for contact lenses!

Dr. Rigney is amazing! My niece was there for her annual visit....he did her eye scans and noticed something and wanted her to get an MRI....he continued to research and consult after her appointment and then said it needed to be emergency....not only did he help make this happen, he repeatedly checked in on Addison while she was in the hospital, as well as with physicians involved....and he has continued to do so!!! (she was diagnosed with pseudotumor cerebri) he has been such a blessing and we feel the only one out of all involved who genuinely seems concerned with Addison’s health and recovery! He continues to monitor her and keep in touch and update everyone else involved!! (His staff is great too) we were happy with them before but the above and beyond care has blown us away and we are forever grateful! We highly recommend Dr. Rigney!

Everyone at Dr. Rigneys, including the man himself, are always pleasant to work with and get help from. They talk you through why theyre doing what theyre doing, and are very helpful with the insurance side of things.

I have always had poor vision and had made peace with the idea that my vision would never be very good, even with glasses. I saw Dr. Rigney for the first time and he took his time to make sure he got the prescription just right. I picked up my glasses today and broke down in tears as I drove home. Everything was crisp and sharp—even the tiniest letters that were far away. I can really see now! I would be remiss if I didn’t add that he has the sweetest receptionist ever. Miss Mary is a gem!

I recently moved to Owasso and needed to get a vision exam which my insurance covers. I have been struggling with tension headaches for the past few months causing severe dizziness and a lower quality of daily life. Dr. Rigney and his staff were extremely welcoming. If anything, Dr. Rigney takes more than ample time to explain his findings so that you leave his office with an understanding of your diagnosis. I have 20/20 vision, however, through testing it was found that my eyes were straining extremely hard to get to that level of focus for the good vision. Therefore, potentially causing the headaches. Dr. Rigney explained this very thoroughly to me. In fact, Dr. Rigney offered a me the opportunity to try a contact with my prescription for one day at NO COST to make sure it was going to help before having me purchase glasses which are relatively expensive. It was learned that readers with a +1.00 setting would do the same as an extremely expensive pair of glasses. THIS WAS AT DR. RIGNEYS SUGGESTION. This further ensured me that DR. Rigney had great ethics and morals. Instead of selling me a pair of high dollar glasses, he recommended the readers because he felt they would do just as good in getting my eyes to relax as would an expensive pair from his office. I highly recommend Dr. Rigney for any of your eye care needs!!

The best eye Dr. Me and my husband have ever been too! He takes his time and really gets to know you! This will be my first pair of glasses and my husband has wore glasses since he was in 4th grade and he said this has been by far his best experience with any eye dr. Not to mention he is just a nice man all around!!! His staff is wonderful and the atmosphere is great!

We were at church and J. Rigney looked at the swelling around my eyes from poison Ivy and or poison Oak. He asked what I was doing for it and I told him one of the over-the-counter things I was using. He said he was going to call in a steroid cream prescription which ended up taking the swelling down and drying out the poisonous oil infection for the most part in less than 24 hours. It was a blessing.

After walking in and being hit with negativity and not feeling welcomed by the lady at the front desk, Dr Rigney personally called me 5-10 minutes after leaving and helped me tremendously over the phone. He offered to set me up another appointment and apologized profusely on his uneasy staff member. I’ll give him another shot because he wanted to make it right, if it wasn’t for that phone call we (me or my daughter) wouldn’t be back! He actually cares about his patients and that speaks volumes!

I have used Dr. Rigney on and off for the last 10-15 years and I have continued to go back because I think Dr. Rigney is great - he is always kind, helpful, and very knowledgeable. However I will not be returning and I would never recommend using his office. I find some of his office staff to be completely incompetent. I have waited to be seen for as long as 2 hours many times, I have been told I qualify for $100 rebate and only after making an extra appointment, paying a babysitter, and spending an hour waiting was I told they didnt check my plan and I dont actually qualify. And most recently, after being seen nearly every 6 months for the last 2 years (due to office mistakes) I called to reorder contacts - they took my order and only when I called back 8 business days later was I told that (regardless of the fact that I had an eye exam 5 months ago) they didnt put my order in because I need to be seen first! So now after being advised to be seen for one service but not other my insurance coverage is completley messed up requiring me to pay out of pocket to fix their mistake. I feel that I have been extremely patient and understanding; but I have continually received a complete lack of consideration, follow through, and never been offered an apology - as he tries to push the blame on me. Poor poor poor customer service, Im very disappointed that such a long standing business relationship had to end like this.

Had to go in four different times because he couldnt get the right RX. Paid nearly $400 and still dont have a good RX. My last RX was 1.75 in right and 1.50 in left and he gave me an RX for 2.75 right and 2.50 left. Its ridiculous! Will never go back and will make sure i tell anyone who asks how bad service was.
