Just finished an exterior aluminum trim installation project with Aspen Exterior. Lester and Marty are great. Lester is extremely experienced and helpful with different situation and able to accommodate to different on the spot request. Good in explaining the situation and make sure I am satisfied with the end result. Took a while to get the project schedule but, with the pandemic and everything, it is understandable. Material (aluminum coil) used seem top notch and post project clean up is job well done. Really happy with the end result.
Our experience was horrible! They never returned our phone calls! They couldnt find our folder from previous work we had done by them!We are planning to do new work on our house and we are going with Herzing from Arlington Heights which we have used before and they are superb!
Tremendous experience with this company. We needed windows throughout our house. They came out and showed us all our product and various price options. When it came time to do the job, they were flawless. Will call them again for any need we have.
Aspen Exterior is greatly lacking communication, organization and follow through! We ordered our Windows and Doors through Tavis the Sales Associate and were given an ETA of 6-8 weeks. Tavis took details, measurements and pictures (or so we thought) at our home of the project as we had two sliding glass doors; replacing one with a door and the other with two windows. We discussed at that time in detail as to how the windows would need to be built up adding a window sill, ordering molding and adding trim on the exterior. After following up with the Project Coordinator Colin around the 7 week mark I was told all should be in mid week and I would receive a call. I did not receive a call so I followed up again at the end of the week to find out all had arrived. As a mother, wife and business owner time is of the essence! In preparation for the installation I had removed all furniture, took down the window treatments and blinds, scheduled the day off work and even took my dog to daycare as I was trying to be thoughtful of the contractors.See below for the order of events that then occurred:**Original Install Date: Friday, December 13th-CANCELLED Mid Day**Rescheduled Installation: Monday, December 16th- Installers arrived with no details, measurements, pictures or project guidelines.- I was told that the incorrect windows had been ordered and that they could not be installed. I then reached out to Tavis and received no response. EVER.- Called the office and spoke to the Project Coordinator Colin who said he hadnt received any details regarding the job and that nothing had been documented. (Not sure why this was just now coming up. Was he not the coordinator?)- An hour later after multiple frustrating phone calls the situation was resolved as SOMEBODY had the details SOMEWHERE.- And just when you thought the install would be complete....they never ordered the molding. For some this might not be an issue but as this is our playroom having the walls open to the nails, insulation and unfinished wood for three days was not ideal having an 11 month old child.**Molding Installation: Thursday, December 19thIf you have three days to waste waiting for Aspen Exterior to install and love a good headache go ahead and use them! Tried discussing this situation with Tavis to receive a discount for our time and was told If I give you a discount will you write a good review?. A discount was not received and we will never be using nor referring Aspen Exterior to anyone!
Just had windows and a sliding patio door installed and Greg and his crew are real professional installers. They did a great job and am throughly happy with the company. Salesman was very helpful in choosing the right windows forour house. Will recommend them.
Great customer service & affordable. Joe helped me find the right windows for my house & explained how they would save me energy costs/plus get a tax rebate. Couldnt be easier to do business with I would highly recommend!
We called Aspen because our siding was worn out and in need of repair. They came to our house for a consultation and walked us through exactly what the work would entail. They provided a written quote, and the price was good, so we hired them. Work began shortly after. The workers were always prompt, clean, and respectful. They were very communicative and kept us informed throughout the process. We could not be more pleased and can not recommend them enough to anyone in the market for new siding.
Used Aspen twice. First time was 5 years ago, they were a subcontractor for a large home project. They did really good work installing the Pella windows ordered through them. Based on this I decided to use them again recently and they have been a complete nightmare to work with directly. No one in their office calls you back. I repeat, NO ONE. You leave a message, no call back. You leave it on their voice mail, no call back. Nothing is their responsibility according to them, NOTHING. Once they take your order and get your deposit, forget about updates or help with any issues or questions you might have or any customer service whatsoever. Things got so messed up that I have to have my general contractor install the windows they ordered anyway because of order delays and their refusal to take any responsibility for them. Completely defeated the reason I used them in the first place. I advise to avoid Aspen Exterior at all cost.
We needed a new roof. The Aspen Exterior team was the obvious choice. They walked us through all the options, the pricing, timelines, etc. They did everything they said they would do and more. We could not be more pleased with our experience and would highly recommend Aspen to anyone. Awesome team.
We hired them to install a new door. We were told the door had a screen. Turns out that if we want to use the screen, we have to remove the entire glass portion of the door and replace it with a screen. It was just a little misleading in the sales process. The person who came to install the door was very friendly and knowledgeable. I may hire this company again, but will be sure to ask more questions and see a sample of what Im buying prior to the investment. Also, they replaced weather stripping and now I cannot lock my front door. I now need a new front door.. Its not their fault, but shouldve been something the sales person warned of before the installation.
We could not decide if we should repair our roof or have a new one installed. The team from Aspen came out to our home and did a full analysis of the situation. They presented excellent short-term and long-term solutions. Everything was put in writing and they explained the associated timelines. We talked to several other companies and no one came close in terms of being as complete and straight-forward. We could not be happier with our experience and we intend to use them again this summer for some new windows.
Worst company ever
Outstanding Service. Fair pricing and professional workmanship.
Never called me back to confirm they got my phone message about color change of door
Had new siding installed last month. Could not be more pleased with the service. Would recommend them to anyone.
I hired them for a roof and siding. They failed at both, the roof leaks and the siding doesnt look straight and flat. Buyer beware.
Thank You Greg =)
