Took a battery in 3 times to try to get it replaced. First time I took the battery out of the car and they said it passed their test and they would charge it. Came out next day and it was dead. Jumped the car and took it over to advance. The battery passes again and they check the charging system, everything is fine. Took it to my mechanic thinking the car had a short. They tested the battery and it failed (see pic). Took the battery in again and they would not exchange it because it wouldn’t fail on their machine. I asked if it tested the same parameters and I’m assuming the manager (some dude sitting at the counter further back) came and danced around my question blaming my mechanics tester. I bought a new battery and now everything is fine. The kicker was getting to pay for.a new battery (the old one was just over a year old) AND paying for my mechanic to tell me the battery was bad. Needless to say, I won’t be returning after doing business with them for many years.In all fairness, most of the employees are kind, but simply stating there is nothing that can be done when something is clearly wrong is ridiculous.The canned corporate reply is worthless.

They have absolutely no knowledge about what parts or materials you may need. if its not in a computer they have no idea what youre talking about. Simple questions are completely oblivious to them when it comes to cars.

This store has the worst and most unprofessional staff I have seen. I have never been talked down to at an Advance before but I have been to this one twice and both times I have had the same experience. I have been doing business with advance for over 15 years but I will not be going to this one again.

Went in to get a window wiper for my van and it was nice that they include installing it for you for free!! I would have taken forever trying to figure out how to install it....ty

Associates INCREDIBLY inconsiderate of customers with medical sensitivities to chemicals! I was outside yet the female associate who brought my item to my vehicle (curb side pick up) was SHOCKINGLY odorous with chemicals. Practically DRENCHED herself in 3 quarters of a bottle of highly unpleasant, very strong, chemical fragrance! Covid isnt the only airborne particle causing respiratory issues and making people sick! Stores should show more consideration to customers with such sensitivities. 5.12.21

Had some questions when I was placing an online order and I called the store here on Malabar when Rico answered the phone. He was very professional, helpful, and kind. He helped me to find the exact part I needed and gave me the best advice for the most cost-effective way to place my order. After I placed my order online, I called the store to confirm they had received it and of course they had. He told me he could have it ready in 30 seconds and when I got to the store he printed my receipt and very generously carried my items out to my car. I am very satisfied with my experience at the store and will recommend to anyone who might need parts for their car. Thank you Rico for such a pleasant experience shopping with you today.

One of the employees named Rick helped us out and was very, very nice. Came out to the car with us and helped us confirm what the problem was and helped us fix it. Very helpful staff always wanting to help, definitely coming back.

The Place was ok and very clean. People were respectful.

I will never ever go there unless a man name Paul is working. He is so helpful and always goes out of his way to give that extra kind help..The ladies do nothing and I mean nothing extra to help out, they are not even friendly.. Yesterday I needed help, and Paul wasnt there, I ask the lady for help, she said I dont know anything, Look it up on internet. Today the man Paul was there and helped me find exactly what I wanted and let me know I need something else to go with what I bought. For now on I will call to make sure Paul is there before I buy anything..Iam not the only customer that feels the same way. Advance Auto is spoken of often about bad customer service from the ladies the work on Malabar Advance Auto. Thank God you have that man Paul or I would never come back and I would spread the news to worths not to go..but I dont, I tell them dont go unless the man Paul is there .

My 19 yr old son called this store for truck part for his 1st used vehicle but Polly was very unprofessional & unhelpful, talking down to him as if he’s to know her job. Making formal complaint with corporate & will not shop at this location again. BTW Polly didn’t know car parts when she got hired either, I know of her hire there, but with the low work morale & questionable work ethics that’s at this store explains the poor customer service.

Went to store knowing What I needed. The worker behind the counter was courtesy and well aware.

Classy clerks with real knowledge and they are great to bounce questions and ideas off of. In my opinion they are better than Malabar AutoZone. Always buy the item or part you need online though so as to get at least 20% off everytime.

They had the engine air filter and cabin air filter for my car

So I pull up to my advance Auto parts (which is pretty much the only location in Brevard that I prefer to go to, anyways, I had a bad transmission fluid leak. The manager(bestest ever) without even having to, helped me fixed it. It made a pretty bad mess, but we both cleaned it up. It was one of my best experiences so far.

Helpful and usually in stock. Carry airplane motor oil, for airboats. Just double check your part sometimes out is not the right one

I go to Advance Auto Parts for everything. Extremely helpful no matter how busy. This time I ordered a battery online - it was available within an hour. I went in and asked if the young man could install it - no problem! He took out the old battery, cleaned the terminals very well and coated them with a protective spray. Hooked up the new battery and started it to make sure all was good.Oh and he hooked up a device to the diagnostic plug in so I wouldnt lose the memory on everything. When all done - nothing needed reset.Thanks to each of you - keep up the good work and customers will return again and again.Update 12/7/2019. I ordered wiper blades and Prestone online. Items were ready when I arrived and George (store manager) was excellent as always and is his whole staff. Thanks everyone! 5 Stars again.

My church did a car wash at this location. The staff were so friendly and helpful. But I want to take a moment and recognize Susan and Brandyn. My nephew lost his key and they went above and beyond to help us look for the key. Susans back was even hurting but she did what she could to help look. Brandyn did too and when he noticed Susan was doubled over due to her hurting back he encouraged her to go sit and rest. Yall Susan was outside in the extremely hot sun looking for a key with us. Brandyn was looking in candy boxes by the register in hopes the key fell in. I cant say enough. God bless those two.

Not the most friendly place Ive ever been in, but they have what you want.

Employees are usually fairly friendly once you get to them. The wait is many times over 10 minutes. Meanwhile, there are several employees who just seem to be walking around, even though customers are waiting.

Very helpful, including installing a new battery.

They are not too knowledgeable when it comes to newer models that are not your typical car.

I have to give them a five star rating, the employees are very knowledgeable and their prices are competitive. During the last hurricane they had tons of gas cans and generators.

Old school customer service. I have found Oil and filters previously only found at the dealer or Amazon at a lower price. I no longer use any other parts store due to the friendly helpful service here.

The employees are continuously changing and as a result, it is constantly subpar service. They are slow and it is hit or miss on whether or not they are nice or rude to you. Id like it more if the store manager did more to retain any good employees here. I only return because the prices for actual car parts tend to be quality and are able to be price matched to stay competitive. Plus, my mechanic has a commercial account with them here so there is some advocacy in my stead when needed. Id consider changing my rating when management ends this parade of revolving door employment and gets quick, efficient, and polite workers.

A little cheaper than auto zone just depends on what you need. I have to give it 5 ☆s though because my best friend john rose loves coming here likes the new young dorky white boy that works here. I dont think he likes men but he when he talks about him you should see the sparkle in his eyes so hey, if he likes it,i love it.

The most rude management. I had one associate that was super sweet. I called the district manager and talked to me but pretty much blew me off. I told them I wouldnt shop there ever again, that was 7 months ago and havent been back yet.

They had parts I needed and ordered a part I needed and it was there within a few hours. I DO NOT LIKE that they push the highest price parts to sell you even after you have told them what you want.

The manager was fantastic and very helpful. He went outside and changed my battery. Plus he is very kind to the elderly.

Went to get gasket and left with a few extra items on sale. The 2 for 6 deals can be mixed and left with shop towels purple power and bogo on brake cleaner and saved a few bucks and a trip.

I had to convince the guy behind the counter that he gave me the wrong part. When I brought the part in showing him what I needed, he then argued that it didnt come off my car.

Sometimes you dont know what register to go to and they dont make it all that easy or even comfortable when it comes to paying but when you do get someone they are very helpful in getting the parts that you need I hope that makes sense
