DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR ANYTHING!!!!! I went in for an alignment and tire balance because my car was pulling to the right and steering wheel was shaking. They didnt fix the issue. Only told me that my 1 tire had abnormal wear from the alignment being out of specification. This was completely and utterly false!!! One of my tires was separated!!! HUGE difference between uneven wear and a tire that is UNSAFE!!! These people are going to kill someone. Stay away!!!

On Saturday afternoon I called about getting an oil change the nice lady over the phone said there wasnt a wait and she quoted me $45. When I showed up I went to the desk and a gentleman said it would be $75. And that he didnt think he had the filters, with a terrible attitude and the look of not wanting to do my car. He said you have to come before 4:00pm and it was 3:30 ( he said you better go to jiffy lube) He obviously didnt want to work. With that attitude I wouldnt of left my car anyway.

Update: Manager took care of the situation. Reinstall my spare tire. Gave me a free oil change coupon because I had to come back. I am not going to use it anyway. I just want my tire back. (1st post) I was at Gardens Mall Sears Auto Center on 2/1/2020 Saturday to change my car tires all 4 tires. I asked them that I would like to keep one good tire as my spare wheel, and change the other 3 and my original spare tire which is old. I took that spare wheel from under the car and put it in the back so that they can work on easily. I showed him. About 2 and half hours later, they never called me, I went back to auto center, with my 5 years old daughter who was getting ill while we are waiting in the mall. My car is done anyway, I had to rush to leave to home for medication. Next day (Sunday, just before the super bowl game) I remembered about spare wheel to put it back under the car, I found out they never done it. I called them on Monday morning, one girl answered, she said manager is not there yet. I called her back about 11:30 again, still no manager. She said she doesnt know when manager will come and go. I cannot talk to anyone except manager about my tires either. I will update the situation.

Really Bad Experience with Alex!!!!!!I called to make an appointment to have 2 new tires installed on my SUV and to use my lifetime alignment and tires rotated that I purchased last year. I was asked for my phone/plate/vin number to look up my account and was told they have no record of me having ever serviced my vehicle there and no lifetime alignment...but the funny thing is they had the, year, make and model of my SUV...how does that work if Ive never been there?!??The rep put me on with Alex who spoke over me and raised his voice on several occasions...Im a business owner and Ive never seen a poorer excuse in leadership...poor show Alex...poor show Sears...youll never get my business again!!!!

Bought a pair of front tires from Sears last year. The car was also aligned by Sears at that time. Less than 12 months later those tires suffered tread separation. The car began to shake so badly we were forced to pull into a Firestone and have the issue addressed immediately. Safety issue. Took the tires back to Sears. The warranty Sears was pushing when I bought the tires suddenly did not cover tread separation. Took the issue all the way to corporate. They also refused to back their product. Perhaps this horrible customer service and the substandard product lines are the reason the chain is failing. Sad. I was a big fan of Sears in its glory days. I unfortunately will no longer be doing business with Sears. Consumer trust has been lost. A satisfied customer will tell four people about their experience. A dissatisfied customer will tell 13 people. Im well beyond 13.

Denny & Jose were wonderful! Not only were they thorough, but they were patient. Denny gave me superb, above and beyond service- he answered my questions, was genuinely interested in my concerns and in helping me resolve the issues with my vehicle. I am grateful for having met Denny and have him help me while at the Sears Auto Center in PGA.Thanks again Denny!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. I thought it would be extremely convenient to have my car serviced while I spent the day with by baby and husband at the mall. Not only did they take more than 7 hours to replace a serpentine belt on my SUV, they did in incorrectly and the belt fell off while I was driving with my 6 month old daughter in the car. When my husband called to ask if they would repair it for free, they said that it wasnt their problem. I really wanted to like Sears, because they have great hours, but their service is not timely nor reliable.

Dominique was extremely polite, knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and courteous! Could not have had a better experience. Will definitely return to Sears auto for all future needs. Highly recommend this location. She made my visit hassle free. Kudos to Dominique and the maintenance dept!

Called and asks for a simple price for rear brakes for my car and she couldn’t not even give me a baseline.... Sounds like the beginning of a Scam...Told me i had to come in for a $15 brake evaluation. even tho i just left my dealership..

Not as good as they use to be. I went in for an alignment only because my dealer installed a new steering wheel, and the suggested an alignment only because the steering wheel could not be aligned on the steering rack exactly as the old one was. It tuned out that they were able to light the new wheel up perfectly, but I decided to get an aliment as a precautionary measure. I took my are to Sears and it was first time in the morning. The technician drive the car in and put it straight on the lift. He was very quick and did not even test drive the car! any alignment that I have ever received has been followed by a test drive. Following the alignment, my steering wheel has to be off center to the right in-order to drive straight in a straight line. I am disappointed and regret not going to the dealer for this service, which I do for all other services. Now I have to return to correct this issue. I called and they were very nonchalant regarding the issue.(UPDATE) I took the car to another Sears location close to my job this morning, and they found the car to be out of alignment and corrected the issue.

Aweful. I arrived 15 mins before my appt and the guy was telling me to come back because they were too busy because random people came in before me. I stayed after they told me it would be a couple of hrs. 4hrs later my 4 tires were installed. As i drove away i noticed that one of those techs stole a framed family picture ornament that was in my truck.I can see why sears is going out of business

The service we received during a recent tire transaction was outstanding. ALAIJAH took ownership of the experience with a great balance of product /process knowledge, appropriate salesmanship, and an admirable commitment to customer satisfaction. She was brilliant, Props to Scott, also, for running the department. 4 stars b/c Sears Corp. doesnt allow enough hours for more staff when needed. But...again...10 STARS to Alaijah, & team!

Went to drop off car around 130. Service member says we dont take walk in this late. You have to have an appointment. You want set one up for tomoorow. Only sears I know that doesnt take walk in and still have 5.5 hours to work. Keep your minimum wage job with your work ethic wont be doing anything else.

I came in today and after 30 minutes of waiting, I asked how long it would take to get an oil change (letting the guy know I was a walk in and didnt have an appointment). He told me it would take an hour and a half, two hours max. Its been 4 hours and they havent even started. Not coming here ever again.

Absolutely horrible... i will never shop at sears again let alone deal with them. I purchased tires from them less than a year ago. So my tire blew out and they told me the manufacture warrenty does not cover the tire. Yet the tires actual manufacture is telling me they do. The manger told me I did not purchase the road hazard warrenty... yet i did when I bought the tire bc this warrenty comes with the tires! This and every other depart I have dealt with has been and absolute nightmare... never again. They just no not want to replace my tires after I paid almost a grand to have them and install them

UPDATE Feb. 21, 2018Im reviewing Sear Auto Center at the Gardens Mall in Palm Beach Gardens. Some things have improved since my original review a year ago.Pros:Great hours. Open late.Much better communication than what I experienced a year ago. I think they hired a person dedicated to answering the phone, taking payments and processing pickups.Dominique answered the phone and called me when the job was done. I also received a text alert when the job was complete.I was offered the same discount on a battery that was shown online with a 3 year full replacement warranty. (Not pro-rated).I have used this Sears Auto Center since 1986 to buy Michelin tires and Sears batteries. I live close by and cant beat the convenience.Cons:They need about 5 to 10 comfortable chairs for the customers.Expect any work performed here (even the simplest jobs) (even with an appointment) to take a long time. They are probably understaffed and overworked. I sympathize with their situation.For example, I received a call at 3 pm on a wednesday that my car was done. I showed up at 4 pm. They were not busy. There was no one in line at the registers yet it took them 14 minutes (I timed it) to cash me out and hand me the keys. Expect to wait even longer if you show up during rush hour or early morning.You will be happiest if you drop off the car and pick it up at the end of the day.If you want something done fa$t, go to the dealer or a small mom and pop shop with an appointment already made in advance.Item 2 in my review below is still an outstanding issue.ORIGINAL POST approximately Feb. 2017:Pros:Great hours, good repairs, close to my house.Cons:They rarely answer the phone.Cash registers are too far from the garage which causes too much walking for the service writers. Waste of productivity.Their computer system is antiquated and takes way to long to check someone out.Details:Ive had many cars repaired over the years at Sears Auto in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. They do a good job at fair prices and their hours are great. However, there are 2 issues:1. They rarely answer the phone. They need to hire someone for the sole purpose of answering phones, taking messages and handling payments. Let the service writers focus on the repair issues.2. They need to swap the waiting room and cash register locations. The registers need to me much closer to the garage but still in air conditioning and away from noise. Lots of time is wasted with the service writers walking back and forth from garage through the waiting room to the registers. Its a huge waste of time and lost productivity.

Horribly service, attitude. Told me they screwed up on emergency break cover and bring it back to get it done, will take about 30 mins. Now it’s been 2 hours since I am waiting and still not done. I have my family waiting on food and I have picked up ice cream for them. But she seemed to not care and said how would I have known it would take this long. She said it’s a complicated process. I personally feel they don’t have good mechanics from what I saw. When I told her I will be taking it to my mechanic next week to get everything checked she seemed nervous. Hope they don’t screw my Benz. I wish now I should have taken it to my mechanic or the dealership.Personally if you cannot be polite or hire professional who know how to deal with people this place should be shut down. We are not getting thing done for free. Paid $780 to get the breaks done.

Got an oil change, got home and noticed a pool of oil under the car the next morning! Didnt have a problem with leaking before, so assume they either didnt tighten the plug, or at least didnt check for leaks when done. They said a gasket was broken on the plug.

Worst experience ever. I came for an aliegnment. left the stering wheel was not aligned. I didnt have time to go back. got almost all the way home and felt a bad shaking thought maybe I had a flat. after looking I realised this was not the case then I checked my lug nuts and all four tires were finger loose. so I tightend them all. plus one was missing and a stud was broke off. took it back to sears asked them to align it and please fix the stud and replace the lug. they said they will not because they do not do anything with the lug nuts when they do the alignment. this may be the case but they did not do my alignment clearly. so I asked them if they could access the cameras in hopes that they would see I was right and take responsibility fix what they broke and do the job I paid them to. but nope they refused. I am tried to say someone must of tried to steal my rims lol they are stock and I have motion cameras at my house! never again will I buy a sears product. they are not the sears we grew up with people. this is why they are going out of business and only have a 2.5 star rating on google.

I bought four tires there and have a free tire rotation when necessary. Now that you need to make an appointment and cannot walk in I have called the auto center twelve times to make an appointment to have this done and no one answers the phone to make the appointment. Your new system sucks especially if the auto center does not answer the phone to make appointments. Why can we not make appointments online? This would make sense. Not a happy Sears customer. I do not know how to get this service done.

No respect to time. I arrived 20 minutes early to my appointment trying to be smart, they told itll take about an hour or so, an hour later, its still not in yet. Total time just for an oil change 1:45 hrs.A lady next to me took them about two and half hours to change a tire for her car, with an appointment!

Went for alignment check....they did check the alignment and didnt gave me report of the alignment check...I asked them where is the report they said they forgot to print they cashed me out so they cant see it either....so did do the alignment check again to get report.....but I appreciate they doing it again without any complaints....

The worst experience. 3rd time here. Same story everytime. Had to bring my car back after every visit. Because the problem was not solved. Say its going to take an hour and a half took 4+ hours. Cant even put windshield wipers on correctly. Stay away! Unless you like wasting time and money.

Bought a 6 month all wheel alignment and tire rotation with oil change through Groupon as I was redeeming my voucher I asked the mechanic if I needed an oil change withing the 6 months would I be able to still use it and he said it was a one time deal and I asked why is it listed as a 6 month deal his answer was we cannot keep giving you oil changes for free and it was Groupons fault. When I left my car engine was knocking and he said we did nothing to your car so I asked why was it knocking not able to answer. Very nasty man no manners at all must be hard to get all around good mechanic. Shame on Sears!!

I wanted to change two tires. Im not an american citizen (Im from germany) so I didnt know about the average american price for this kind of service. I was just trusfull.So I made an appointment and selected my tires ($240 for two tires). My english isnt very good but I just asked for the minimum service (just wanted my tires to be changed).I waited 5h (!) until the man told my that my car was ready, and I had the nice suprise with the bill : $520 (!!!)As I said, Im new in the US, and I didnt know that it wasnt the average price to pay in this coutry for this kind of service, so I paid.I just learned that the average work coast would have been more like $20 to $40. So I should have to paid something like $260-$280 rather than $520.Sears charged me $240 more for no reason (my car didnt have any problem because it had been inspected 2 weeks before).Im so disgusted by this company and I can swear that I will never come back to one of those store and I will fight everyday of m1y life to convince people around me to never go back again to Sears.

Worst ever. got the service and multi point inspection done today. they did not even fill the inspection report and had put no sticker for the next service. it felt like nothing being done in the car. when i asked about the issues i knew he had no idea.. even basic checks were not done.had a groupon for $45 and on top paid $30 for the prem filter and etc. felt cheated.
