I love this book store! It is absolutely my go to. The prices might be a bit high and Im sure books can be found elsewhere, but there is such a magical feeling of being able to browse around. I love that a Starbucks is inside because I can just purchase my books and sit quietly to myself and read. I adore this place!

Staff are always very helpful. Willing to order books that they do not have in stock.

This review is for John the older gentleman. I dont appreciate how you dealt with my niece when she asked if you could hold her books. When I approached you to ask about you holding them longer, you demanded I pay for them there and then. That you couldnt hold them, you were completely unreasonable in the way you spoke to me. You had an attitude and raised your voice. If you were having a bad day dont take it out on a child. I appreciate the manager listening to our concerns and not blowing us off. John in the future dont take out your bad day on the kids. Or maybe this just isnt the job for you, I hope they give you further training.

I could spend hours browsing over the isles with hundreds of the greatest selections..Books that will trap you and transport you into their best chapter while you enjoy and submerge throughout your best interests and experiences that will only find by reading page after page ...I cant complain I will always 💙 @barnes&noble...

This place is the only bookstore left in the valley, private or chain.The staff is very helpful and they have books here.Nearly all of the soft chairs where one can sit for hours reading have been taken away since opening. Over the years theyve tricked us folk who want to read for free and be comfortable at the same time.Music section is gone too. Yay for commercial profits.But I did buy Rules For Radicals here years ago, so I guess I can be open minded.

One young man that helped me was very friendly and although he didnt know the answer, he had customer service help me and they had my books waiting at the counter to choose from! So awesome but the guy that had to check me out, seemed in a rush and not very friendly.

The one in Palm Desert, California is crowded. The parking lot is crowded and the inside is too. People are prejudice and will make fun of you. The aisles are mixed up, the lines are long, and confusing and the prices are expensive.

Picked up Napoleon Hills ( the law of success ) need to feed my mind 🤨

I enjoy the fact that I can still visit a bookstore and enjoy a cup of coffee! There are many genres to choose from and their childrens section is great too for kids with a storytelling section, but may be closed. There is also a huge selection of magazines, puzzles, games, and stationary supplies as well. So go ahead, and check out this local Barnes & Nobles bookstore, you wont be disappointed.

This is particular store is very busy but, in all the cleanliness is superb and the friendliness of the staff (for my experience) has been great! I was asked for help about five times. The restroom need to be a little more clean. So, 4 stars 🌟 is appropriate rating for this Barnes and Noble.

Probably one of the bigger B&N stores. One of the few that has a really good mystery section that includes more than the spy novels. Huge selection of toys and they have lounge fly bags too.

I love this bookstore. They have such a great selection of everything readable and offer a terrific concierge service to help you find exactly what you are looking for. I could not be happier with them. Their store adds to the magic of shopping for any kind of literature.

It was a nice layout, it had a calm atmosphere, and easy to find everything I needed. You should heck it out yourself, you may find something that will peak your intrest.

Its a B&N in a mall. They have books and stuff. Vinyl album selection was a little thinner than some chain book stores Ive been in lately but not terrible if youre looking for something moderately AO mainstream.

This is probably the best reason to visit the mall. This store is well organized, books of popular interest are layed out on tables, and there is a depth of fiction and non fiction books which is unmatched in the Valley. The layout is spacious and invites browsing.

I love going to this Barnes and noble. Its a great spot to read and order a cup of coffee. Also, its connected to the mall.

We are lucky to have the benefits afforded us by the way brick and morter book stores in our community.

Barnes & Noble in the Westfield Palm Desert Mall is the place to go to find a great selection of literature, fun accessories, vinyl music and to enjoy snack time in their Starbucks.In this store it is very easy to find your interests and the associates are very helpful if you are looking for a particular item. If they can not find what you are looking for in their store they will get online, find it and have shipped to your home.If you are looking for a place to relax and get inspired do what Jeff Bezos of Amazon did, have meetings at a Barnes & Noble.

I have always enjoyed going to this Barnes and Noble -- but today was an exception and I will not be going back. I have not been shopping much but got masked up for the big shopping day. I was happily shopping ( a nice employee Kyle actually helped me find the first thing on my list very quickly, and he was very friendly and nice) when I got a text to look for a Gingerbread Kit...thinking they would be in the gift or Christmas area I scurried off to look. All of a sudden I heard shouting that I could not understand through the employees mask - I looked to see who she was talking to and saw no one - so I continued on my way to shop the gift section. Another male employee comes up shouting that I cant cut through the line...I look around seeing no people or any line where I am looking - only gifts but they are both shouting at me which was quite embarrassing. I ask about the Gingerbread Kit and they do not have any this year. First of all I saw no line where I was physically walking and I was not even within 25 feet of a cash register...second of all -- why are they shouting at people shopping the gift section at Christmas? Would it be odd to be looking for a gift? What gave them the impression I was in line or checking out? I would have liked to have bought nothing, but promised I would get some books for my sons girlfriend and had no other option in shopping. So I looked for one more gift (obviously not in the gift section as that seemed to be the whole fuss the employees not wanting customers to look at the gifts...paid and left. My cashier was very sweet but honestly it only takes one apple to sour the bunch and here we had two bad apples. I will shop Amazon in the future or look for a brick and mortar store that wants business. I found this visit, embarrassing and the employees rude...perhaps they could have asked if they could help me find something...or politely asked if I knew I was in a line (with no people). I just do not get it - seems these masks are taking away people sense of kindness as they hide behind them.

I love there book selections in the young adults section and just recently saw that they have expanded on their manga section too 👍

Always clean a variety of choices and smiling employees

Staff is always friendly, store is always clean, walking in all the latest books are on display, i dont know about you but the smell of books and fresh Starbucks coffee is perfection! the store entrance is one of the busiest but even with all the people coming in and out it doesnt take away from the ambience.

Everything was great but some of the customer service was bad. There was a cashier that was rude. I wish I would have gotten her name but I was in a hurry. If you dont like working with people you should find a different job!

Had so much fun buying keto books.Superman Sterling was so attentive and helpful.Book Annex was a great area to browse.

Grew up going to this Barnes & Noble. I remember going to the midnight release party for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows! Nice sized Barnes & Noble with a cute mini Starbucks and a great area for kids!

We arrived at the perfect time, only had to wait about 2 minutes to get in. Store is adhering to capacity restrictions, store was not crowded, we were able to browse and find what we were looking for quickly. Store is very clean, very well laid out. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Overall good experience. Well stocked and clean organized store and mostly friendly staff. Manager on duty Sat morning was great. I was told i would need to exit and wait until 10am to enter although doors from parking lot both wide open since it was senior shopping hour. I arrived 8 mins before 10am. When i politely protested since perhaps 3 people on entire store her manager called her ear device and told her to me let me in.Some employee training needed on flexibility perhapsGreat store and selection.

Associates walking around need to actually know what CS is.

Large section for Games that was stocked with some great finds and some great strategy games.No puzzles. I have never been to a B&N with No Puzzles...The Associate told me the puzzles were on order but I came back two weeks later and still no puzzles... all they have is a poor selection of those 3D Plane and Eiffel Tower type puzzles.

The store was practically empty probably due to covid. The store was well stocked with plenty of merchandise anyone would want. The item I was looking for was front and center in the new arrivals section. Check was easy with no wait.

I just love the old vibe of a bookstore where I can look, feel the actual book/magazine. Also I can sit down to a cup of joe and enjoy my reading. Something Amazon C A N N O T do!

I love this Barnes & Noble! They have a huge selection of books!

The store had the mall side entrance closed so I had to walk to the outside entrance and lost 10-15 minutes of shopping time. Anyone who didnt know before would naturally think the inside would be open so people could easily go from one store to another. Not B&N.

This book store has a really great selection I was here checking out the kids books my little nephew likes to read and so we have been trying to keep him going and Barnes and noble has a great selection of children’s books!

Super friendly Barnes & Noble location. Staff was able to help me find what I needed quickly and easily. I had been looking for a very specific magazine that my friend was in and I wanted to buy a few of them as a keepsake. They have a great Starbucks location on the inside. There Starbucks has great happy hour specials so if you have a friend or just one of those people that like to drink a butt ton of coffee stop by here instead of a regular Starbucks.

If I could give it a zero stars, I would. Went to Starbucks and Miriam the batista was being very rude. Miriam got my order wrong and I told her about it and got mad because she couldnt get it right. Miriam claimed they werent even a real starbucks. When they literally have the Starbucks brand all over. Miriam couldve been nicer if she wouldve left the attitude at home.
